Na een drukke werkweek is het terug vrijdagavond, de tijd vliegt voorbij ! Vanaf volgende week zal ik nu
ook Europa bij mijn takenpakket krijgen en ik kijk er al naar uit om mijn eigen taaltje af en toe te kunnen
gebruiken.
Zoals gebruikelijk is het vetjesavond en we testen een nieuwe hamburgertent, Bobby's Cheeseburger, geweldig
lekkere burgers, heel lekkere frieten ( en wij Belgen kunnen dit weten !! ) en ook tapkranen met mayo , ketchup,
mosterd etc , Je kan zelf je burger aankleden met groentjes en saus naar wens, het heeft ons ook super gesmaakt !
Het was toen al na 20h30 en we hadden geen brood in huis voor de volgende ochtend, dus wij op ons gemak
naar de Kroger, een supermarkt die hier om 1h middernacht sluit en om 6 h smorgens open is , nooit meer stressen
om de supermarkt te halen voor sluitingstijd, zaaaaaallliiig !
En het weer wordt op Zaterdag wat men heeft beloofd, lekker veel zon, heldere lucht, rond de 16 graden, maar op
ons terras voelt het als 25 graden, dus na onze wandeling rond een grote vijver en een zwemmetje ( niet in de vijver
maar zwembad van fitness ) apertieven we buiten, nemen we onze lunch buiten en genieten we van de warmte
tot rond 1730, dan wordt het al frisser.
Vandaag, zondag terug genoten van een heerlijke dag , samen koffie gedronken met Ruud, Monique en hun zoontje
Wessel, en daarna gaan lunchen naar Applebees, daarna nog een babbeltje gedaan met onze nieuwe buren, kortom
een gans geslaagde en echt gezellige dag !

After a busy workweek it is Fridaynight, time really flies ! As from next week I will also be dealing with orders from
Europe and I am really looking forward as I will be able to use my own language now and then !
As usual by tradition, Friday is our "fat food night" and we decide to test a new hamburge place in our neigborhood,
which is Bobby's cheesburgers, really good hamburgers, excellent fries ( and we as Belgian experts can judge about
that ! ) self service system for your sauce, and you can dress your burger with veggies of your choice, it was really
good and we will defintely go back there for sure !
When we left , we realised we did not have any bread for tomorrow am, it was then after 2030, so we went to a local
supermarket Kroger. It opens 6 am and closes 1 am, so no stress anymore to go to the supermarket before closing
time, this is really a greeeeaaaat feeling !
On Saturday, we get the promised nice first Spring weather, we all have been longing for as this appears to be an
exceptional cold and wet winter , it is about 16 C , but on our terras it feels like 25 C so after a walk around a
small lake and a swim ( at the gym of course, not in the lake) we have a drink outside with lunch and enjoy the
sun till 1730.
Today, Sunday we get another beautiful day with sun, blue skies and nice temperatures, we had coffee with Monique
Ruud and Wessel , then enjoyed lunch at Applebees, and after that we had a nice chat with our neighbors, we can
decide this was a really nice day that we enjoyed a lot !!
