Voila, zo snel gaan de weekends hier, het is alweer zondag en dan wel een heel speciale zondag : Superbowlzondag, de finale van het American Football, de dag waar de Tv aanstaat en er bier gedronken wordt, in de buurt zien we aan de talrijke auto's dat er hier en daar mensen bijeenkomen om samen naar de wedstrijd te kijken !
Bart is enthousiast aan het kijken en ikke aan het bloggen haha ! Straks haal ik pizza of laat ik er komen want er is er hier eentje die niet uit huis komt !
Ik ga jullie niet in spanning houden want jullie denken wellicht, huh iglo, en neen wij hebben geen last van de sneeuwstorm in Washington, maar toch hebben we een iglo !
Het zit namelijk zo, vroeger hadden de poezen hun tuinhuis, dat was de plaats waar ze terecht konden bij slecht weer, als je de foto gezien hebt van Fluffy weet je dat ze dit hier niet hebben, dus heeft de lokale eskimo ( Bart, let op foto .. en zijn eskimovrouwtje een iglo weest gaan halen en 2 hippe nieuwe warme mandjes. Of ze erin willen dat zien we nog wel, hij staat vlakbij de achterdeur en als ik nu naar mijn werk ga weet ik toch dat ze een schuilplaats hebben, en ik zal er ook eten in plaatsen !
Morgen breng ik Bart naar het Martastation en donderdag haal ik hem terug, de volgende dagen zijn de poezen en ikke baas in huis !!
De iglo en de eskimo !!! //The Igloo and the eskimo !!
Weekends seem to fly by as fast as they used to in Belgium, it is already Sunday and today is a very special one, Superbowlsunday, the grand finale of American Football season, the day to watch tele and drink beer ! We can see that some people in the neighborhoud are gathering together as there are more cars parked as usual .
Bart is a huge fan and is looking at the tele right now, and I am adding a new story to our blog ! In a minute I will order some pizza or drive out to get one, but Bart is not going anywhere for sure !!
I am now about to reveal the meaning of the title, you are all probably thinking huh , an igloo ? And no we are not facing as much snow as they have currently in Washington due to the snowstorm but we do have an igloo.
Well , the thing is that our cats used to have a garden shed where they could find shelter when it was bad or cold weather. As you recently could see the picture of Fluffy , they do not have such shelter here ! So since we want them to have some shelter when they are outside ( and they love it outside we would only punish them keeping them inside and they were used to the freedom, only at night they need to come in ) so our local eskimo ( Bart, you ll understand when you see the picture) and his eskimo wife bought an igloo for our cats. Whether they will use it or not will be the question, but at least they have the option and I will put some food inside and hope they make it their little private outside home !
Tomorrow Bart is leaving Georgia for business, and I will drop him off at the Marta station and pick him back up on Thursday, The kitties and me will be boss in our house the next few days !

Hihi, wat n supercoole iglo! S echt leuk te zien dat sommige dingen echt nooit veranderen, ook in Amerika slagen jullie erin om net die dingen die een "tikkeltje anders" zijn te vinden :)
