De derde werkweek zit erop voor mij, als je zo een 3 tal maand niet gewerkt hebt, is er geen verschil meer tussen week en werkdagen, maar als je terug werkt en iedere dag om 6h30 naar het werk vertrekt, dan weet je het verschil tussen weekend en weekdag goed. ( kijk maar straks eens naar de foto, gisterenavond genomen, ergens tussen de 5de reclame in de film The Bourne Identity die toch wel spannend is maar helaas haal ik het einde niet, waar Fluffy geen probleem mee heeft, ik wist al helemaal niet dat Bart een foto genomen had en nog minder dat Fluffy op mij geslapen heeft, en geloof me, Fluffy is niet echt een lichtgewicht van een katje ... :-D
Vrijdagavond hebben we nog ( en toen was ik nog wakker ) thuis gegeten, na even sporten en zwemmen in de fitness was het zo hard aan het regenen dat we besloten hebben thuis een vetjesdag te houden, met kippenuggets waarvan we pas later ontdekt hebben dat het de kinderversie was , in de vorm van dino's !! ( ze hebben toch gesmaakt met oven krullefrieten ! )
De auto moest vandaag binnen voor onderhoud, en als je dit hier doet mag je lekker in de lounge wachten, en krijgt je auto er een wasbeurt bij en dit voor een 30 tal dollar ( je zou bijna je olie laten verversen voor de carwash alleen !! ) We hebben gekeken naar de nieuwe infinity hardtop cabrio, die auto is gewoon geweldig ( en er hangt een geweldig prijskaartje aan dus die komt niet in huis ! )
Na ons garagebezoek hebben we boodschappen gedaan in Harry's Farmers Market, een van mijn favorieten, supergezellig, heel veel organische producten en natuurlijk het aangepaste prijskaartje, maar uiteindelijk als je lekker vlees en vis wilt ( en heerlijke muffins) dan ben je daar wel op de juiste plaats ! We hebben er ook 2 vrienden ontmoet en gelijk afgesproken om te gaan eten !
Daarna in de Quiznos Sub een broodje gegeten, en dan hebben we de Super H mart eens 'getest' een soort Aziatische supermarkt en we hebben ons geweldig geamuseerd, in ons karretje Teriyaki saus, Dumplings met hun saus, Wasabi, Soya saus, Tikka Massala saus, pindanootsaus, rijst en noedels. Dit weekend zal ik kip maken met curry in kokosnootmelk, met cashewnoten en naan brood, mmmmm !!
We hebben ook nog een lamp gekocht voor een van de slaapkamers, deze dient om de was te drogen ( ja hier hang je dit niet buiten, dat wordt niet gedaan ) en vooral mijn collectie laarzen en schoenen. Ik kan nu smorgens met veel licht mijn schoentjes uitkiezen. In de meeste slaapkamers is er geen vast licht, dus moet je een lamp plaatsen en die kan je dan met de gewone schakelaar aanzetten, voor mij nu een luxe wat niet wil zeggen dat ik ze zal gebruiken om s avonds te strijken, dat zal weekendwerk worden !!!

The Super H Mart
Friday at last, I have finished my 3rd working week, and have to admit if you are out of a job for 3 months, there is no difference between a weekday or weekend, it is kind of 'always weekend'. But if you leave to work each day around 6h30 AM, then you do feel the difference between those days very well ! (just look at the picture my husband took last evening, somewher after the 5th publicity on Tv while we were watching the movie 'The Bourne Identity" which is really an action movie, but unfortunately it could not keep me awake ! Note that I was not aware until this morning my husband took this picture, nor was I aware Fluffy was sleeping on top of me, and you cannot really say Fluffy is a lightweight cat, you see all my energy goes to my work currently !:-D
Fridaynight we decided to eat at home ( while I was still awake of course), after working out in the gym and swimming our laps. When we came out of the gym it was raining and we did not feel leaving the house anymore and decided to eat our chicken nuggets at home. We discovered if you shop fast that people do not notice what they are buying so we ended up eating children's nuggets in the shape of dinosaurs, nevertheless they were tasty and we ate them with oven curly fries !!
Our car had to go to the garage for maintenance, and in the Us we can wait in the lounge, watch Tv or read a book,enjoying some coffee or tea, and you get a free carwash on top of your oil and this costs you about 30 dollars ( you could actually go in for maintenance if you your car is dirty haha !! ) We did have a look at the brand new Infinity convertible hardtop, that car is absolutely gorgeous (with a great pricetag of course so this one has to stay in the garage ! )
After a visit to the garage,we went shopping in Harry's Farmers Market, one of my favourites, super cosy and lots of organic food products ( with of course an organic pricetag)but if you like quality fish and meat ( and chocolate chip muffins freshly bakes ! ) you are at the right place. We also met friends of us and will meet for dinner in near future and we are looking forward to dinner ! )
After maintenance and grocery shopping we enjoyed lunch at Quiznos Sub, and then decided topay a visit to H Mart, which is a type of Asian Grocery store and we had real fun, in our shopping cart you could find Soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, red curry paste, dumplings with hot sauce, noodles, rice, wasabi etc ! This weekend I will make some chicken in Tikka Sauce with coconut milk and Cashew nuts and Garlic Naan bread MMMM
We did also buy a lamp this week for one of our bedrooms which is used as iron/laundy drying room and to store my boots and shoe collection ( indeed we do not put our laundry outside like in Belgium ) Now I can choose which shoes or boots I will wear in the morning, with plenty of light, you see not every room has an installed light, there is a switch but you need to connect a lamp to the matching wall socket and basically use the switch once it is connected . I do not think I will be using it to iron at night ( I prefer to use it to choose my shoes in the morning ..) cause whatever household tasks left for me I will be doing during the weekend.
