We zijn nu alweer Zaterdag , de eerste week is voorbijgevlogen !

Mijn hoofd zit vol van alle informatie die ik deze week te verwerken kreeg, het leerproces
verloopt heel snel en vanaf volgende week begin ik al officieel dossiers over te nemen !

Ik zal vanaf nu export Azie ( Japan, China , Thailand , Korea ) en Australie behandelen,
nieuwe producten, nieuwe programma's, ik heb me geen minuut verveeld deze week !

Op de werkvloer zijn de bureaus onderverdeeld in een soort kubus systeem, ik heb dus
een eigen kubus, de wanden zijn zo hoog als je zit dat je je collega's niet kan zien , heb
2 redelijke grote werktafels en dan nog een paar kasten. De wanden zijn een soort stof
die dient om berichten of foto's aan te prikken. De meeste richten hun eigen kubus in
met foto's of een lampje, je kan er eigenlijk een redelijk persoonlijk plaatsje van maken.

Het bedrijf zit op het 2de en 3de verdiep van het gebouw waar Bart een foto van genomen
heeft toen hij me kwam halen deze week ( met 1 auto is dus het nadeel als Bart een afspraak
heeft dat hij me moet brengen en komen halen , dus heeft hij zowat 4 uur die dag in de auto
doorgebracht !

Er staan op dit domein 3 zo een gebouwen , en als je buitenkomt heb je een mooi buitenpleintje
met bankjes waar ik deze week in het zonnetje genoten heb, in het andere gebouw is er
een soort buffet cafe waar je kan ontbijten of lunchen. En in de korte nabijheid heb je
een fastfood en een Panera Bread, daar kan je smorgens genieten van vers brood,
croissants, bagels , muffins, smiddags kan je er broodjes, panini en verse soepen bestellen,
kortom alles wat je nodig hebt voor een lekker ontbijt of lekkere lunch !

Ik kijk al uit naar volgende week , nog meer nieuwe info en nog meer dingen die
dag per dag duidelijker worden , de stukken van de puzzels in mijn hoofd beginnen
compleet te geraken !

Ik neem iedere dag een Belgische snack mee, eierkoeken die ik van mijn oudste zus heb
gekregen ( ZE ZIJN BIJNA OP  HELP !! ), picnicjes , en deze week heeft mijn schoonmoeder
nog een extra voorraad per post gestuurd, we kunnen nu voor een tijdje weg ( in realiteit
zullen we eigenlijk snel mogen chocolade eten om de vervaldatum te respecteren !!!

We gaan nu verder van ons weekend genieten, maandag staat de wekker klaar en om
5h30 uit mijn nestje voor een nieuwe werkweek  !!!

It is now Saturday, the week has passed by in 'super speed mode !! '

My head is full of new information that I have been learned this week, the learning progress
is going smooth, and as from next week I will be taking over some files !

As from now I will be working with export files for AsiaPacific ( Japan, China, Australia etc )
new products , new working processes, I have not been bored for one single minute this week !

The workfloor is divided in a kind of 'cube system', each person has his own cubicle, the walls
of the cubicle are made high enough to provide privacy and is in fact interesting to reduce noise
level if you have to take a call. The walls are also made to attach important files, but you can
also put fotos up and I will follow the example of other colleagues and will try to create a
personal cubicle to work in with nice pictures, which will create a nice environment to work in.

The company I work for is situated in a 3 story building and we work on floor 2 and 3, my
cubicle is on the 2nd floor. Bart took a picture of the building while I was at work as he had
to come over to pick me up after work ( we still share 1 car so if he has a meeting he has to
get up early and bring me to work, that day he did spend 4 hours in the car !! )

Next to this building there are 2 more buildings, in the middle of the buildings they have created
a nice garden with benches where I did enjoy the sunshine already this week. In another building
nearby there is a cafe with buffet where you can have breakfast in lunch. If you drive for about
1/2 minutes you have fast food restaurants and also 1 of my favourites Panera Bread , where they
sell delicious breads, bagels, muffins , croissants frsh made for breakfast, paninis and sandwiches
soups for lunch, mso you have everything close to the office to enjoy a nice lunch or breakfast !

I am looking forward to next week , I will be learning even more and gathering more information,
and bit by bit will be able to make connections between all different steps in the processes I am
learning.

Every day I am taking a Belgian snack with me , this week I took some 'egg cake' a kind of soft
cookie made of eggs, my sister did give me some before we left Belgium ( AND I HAVE ATE
NEARLY ALL OF THEM HELP !! ) This week my mother in law did send an extra supply of
goodies for us and our cats by mail , and we will have plenty of snacks now ( in fact with all the
supply of chocolate we bought and our parents brought with them for Thanksgiving, we will
have to eat a lot of them so we can respect the sell by date ! )


We wil now enjoy our weekend, sleep a bit ( a lot in fact ) longer, and by Monday my alarm
clock is ready to wake me at 530 for a new exciting working week !!
