Zondag, 3 januari

Het is koopzondag en dus zijn de winkels in Belgie uitzonderlijk open, iets wat wij ondertussen
niet meer dan normal vinden sinds we in de States wonen.

Het is druk in Brugge maar niet overdreven, het koude weer zal er wel iets mee te maken hebben.
Gelukkig kunnen we ons opwarmen aan de jenever en choco met baileys.

‘s Avonds worden we verwacht bij Geert en Els voor een avondje bijkletsen en een gourmetje.
Heerlijk al die stukjes vlees en de pannekoeken voor nagerecht!

We zitten dus terug laat in onze tram (na enen)

It is Sunday Sales in Belgium and thus the shops are exceptional open, something we find
normal since we moved to the United States.

It is busy but still acceptable, we think that some folks remained home due to the cold weather
and expected snow. But we can warm us up with a hot coffee with Filliers and a hot cocoa with bailleys.

In the evening we are invited for diner by Geert and Els. We have plenty of time to talk thru the last
3 months and did enjoy a lovely gourmet with small pieces of meat and pancakes to finish in style!

Again we do not succeed to go to bed early, it is way past midnight again.
