Als we onze oogjes opentrekken is het grijs en regenachtig. Dit is reeds derde dag op rij dat het flink regent, en ik maar tegen Ine zeggen dat Atlanta warm is met een helder blauwe lucht! Daarnaast is het vandaag ook flink koud: 50 fahrenheit (10 graden).
Om op te warmen gaan we dus maar fitnessen: eerst 10 minuten fietsen, dan 15 minuten trappen lopen (zeer lastig, Ine loopt 49 verdiepingen omhoog en ikke 48) en daarna nog 20 minuten baantjes trekken in het zwembad. Als afsluiter nog even een stoomcambine en we zijn weer topfit voor de dag.
In de namiddag inkopen doen. Ine wil een nieuwe winkel proberen Farmers Market maar als we de parking oprijden weten we al dat dit niet ons ding is. Eens binnen wordt dit bevestigd. Op de terugweg stoppen we bij Whole Foods Market, beter gekend als whole pay check market omdat het er vrij duur is. Maar het vlees is hier stukken beter dan bij gewone supermarkt.
Ine geraakt maar niet opgewarmd en dus een warm bad is de enige oplossing maar met teveel schuim.... We sluiten de dag af met wat tv en als Ine in slaap ligt kan ik nog wat Nascar kijken: de 500 miles vanuit Charlotte is minder spannend dan de race vorige week in California (toen vlogen de stukken echt wel in het rond!).

When we open our eyes it is another gray and rainy day. It is already the third day in a row with rain and I did promise to Ine that Atlanta was hot and blue! It is today not only rainy but also pretty cold: only 50 fahrenheit.
So to warm up we go to the fitness: first 10 minutes on the bike, followed by a 15 minute session on climbing chairs (very labor intensive: Ine does 49 levels, I go till 48), followed by 20 minutes lap pool and 10 minutes in the 'steamer'. Yes we are again in top condition.
In the afternoon we do some shopping. Ine wants to try a new shop but when we enter the parking lot we already know this is not going to be our type of shop which is quickly confirmed once inside. On the way home we stop at Whole Foods Market, better known as the whole pay check market as being pretty expensive. But the meat is so much better than in a normal supermarket.
Ine still feels cold and thus takes a hold bath with a bit too much bath foam... We end the day with some television and when Ine falls asleep I can watch some Nascar at Charlotte. The race is not as good as last week in California where a lot of incidents happened in the last 20 rounds.
