Gezien we de vrijdag verlof hebben gaan we ‘s morgens naar Ministerie van Justitie dat open is tot 11h30, daar krijgen we een blanco strafregister mee , en hop wij terug naar huis want de ambassade is niet open op vrijdag en we mogen pas dinsdag terugkomen.

19 mei

Bart heeft een meeting in Rotterdam en gaat na de meeting via Brussel naar huis, hij belt me op het werk, de voorlopige greencard plakt in ons paspoort !!!!

Ik moet even naar buiten op het werk om te bekomen , Oh My God !!!

As we took a day of on Friday as well we are driving back to Brussels to the Department of Justice and we get the correct blank police record, and off we go back home again as the Embassy is not open on Fridays and we can only return next week Tuesday with the correct document

Bart has a meeting in Rotterdam and will be going via the Embassy before going home to work, he calls me around 1530 to tell me the provisional greencard is inside our passport ! I need to go outside away from my desk to breathe again, Oh My God !!!!
