I just signed a very important protest message against the new BBC TV series called "The Nativity."
CAUTION: VERY DISTURBING.
From many press reports, I found out that the show brands Our Lady as a prostitute and sex cheat! And the Saint Joseph figure:
"
accuses her of 'whoring' and even suggests that her pregnancy might have been the result of rape."
This is so disgusting that I hesitated to send it to you. But we Catholics need to know what is going on, and we need to stand up for Our Lady's purity and honor when She is insulted like this.
And that is why I am asking you to sign this very important petition TODAY.

Uit vele persberichten blijkt dat de bovenvermelde reeks Onze Lieve Vrouw kenmerkt als een prostitué en een seksoplichtster, waarbij de Heilige Jozef Haar beschuldigt van hoererij en zelfs suggereert dat Haar zwangerschap het resultaat zou zijn van een verkrachting.
Dit is zo walgelijk dat wij Katholieken hierbij niet onverschillig kunnen blijven en we moeten opkomen voor de zuiverheid van Onze Lieve Vrouw en Haar moeten troosten en eren wanneer Zij op een dergelijke wijze wordt beledigd.
Daarom wordt u gevraagd om deze heel belangrijke petitie vandaag nog mede te ondertekenen.

It was written by EastEnders scriptwriter Tony Jordan, and is a horrible blasphemy that depicts Our Lady in the most impure fashion possible.
