Ik dacht aan een ketting, een hanger, een kaart..iets van handleiding om dicht bij je te houden voor wanneer je toch ooit aan onze oplettende ouderlijke arendsblik zou kunnen ontsnappen..
Maar jouw handleiding zou al snel een A4tje met bijlagen worden en aan een kleuternekje bengelend een redelijk bizar zicht zijn.
En toch is het gevoel je kwijt te kunnen raken soms verpletterend aanwezig. Je zou niet om mama kunnen schreeuwen wanneer je pijn of angst hebt dus blijven mijn ogen als alert as can be omdat ik enkel op mijn ogen betrouwen kan bij jou. Soms durf ik ze even te sluiten en laat ik me leiden door jouw klappende handjes of het geluid dat je voetjes maken bij jouw herkenbare huppel-loopstap.
Alles wat je hebt is in wezen verliesbaar en vervangbaar maar graag maak ik een uitzondering voor wat jij bent voor ons.
Soms en vaak ben jij de reden voor discussies en gesprekken met verschillende eindes tussen jouw papa en mij.
Soms en meer ben jij de extra zorgrimpel die op een willekeurige ochtend in de spiegel zijn opwachting maakt.
Heel misschien ben jij de reden waarom de tijd tussen kappersbeurten gehalveerd is in tijd en verdubbeld in prijs dan voor jij er was.
En hoe het komt dat lege flessen zich evenredig vermenigvuldigen met verdriet.
Maar meer dan eens ben jij de reden waarom het woord geluk meer inhoud heeft gekregen dan voor jij ons mannetje was. Vaker dan soms ben jij het die graag zien nog grager heeft gemaakt dan vroeger. Meer dan ooit ben ik fier op wie jij bent om en ondanks hoe je niet worden kan. Triljoen keer ontelbaar ben jij het die ons bewuster en beter maakt in hoe we omgaan met alles wat eerder niet in ons vooropgezette kraam zou passen.
En alles wat contra en tegen en nee en not done is bewaren wij ergens tot je er zelf klaar voor bent maar voor nu zijn wij pro en ja en voor en ready..en we genieten soms met sipjes en mate maar meer meestal met smaak en volle teugen omdat we nu eenmaal niet graag voorzichtig zijn.
