Dear Little Souls of the Diaspora,
Lent ! This word makes us wince ! What a pity ! For Lent is a privileged
time of Tenderness from God who looks upon our earth.
Let us try fast to straighten ourselves up and let our faces to be perfumed,
as the liturgy invites us, with the fragrance of this scented oil that our
Lord makes flowing out from his Heart.
Let us hasten for ourselves the welcoming of this balm which cures
wounds of our sins. Let us bathe in the so sweet words of the Psalms
102-103: Yes ! The Lord is Tenderness and Mercy.
But be not self-centered. We are not the only ones who need this
motherly consolation. We have to draw its essence, to implore it with
loud voices for our world, which does not even doubt of its need for
this solace. Let us meditate on the last paragraph from the Encyclical
letter Dives in Misericordia , this text so important to live the
spirituality of Trust in Merciful Love.
Finally, with Marguerite, let us tackle this mission that Jesus has given to
us: Proclaiming His Tenderness and Mercy to all who are entrusted to
our solicitude of Little Souls. Let the merciful Heart of Jesus have a
hold on us, so we may become the perfumed vessels for this world,
which has forgotten the Sweet Fragrance of Christ.

The Lord is Tenderness and Mercy,
Slow to anger and full of Love
The Lord does not treat us according to our faults, the Lord does not get back
at us for our trespasses. As is the height of heavens above the earth, powerful
is his Love for the one who fears him; as far is the distance from East to West,
He moves our sins away from us. As is a fathers tenderness for his children,
sweet is the Lord for the one who fears him ; He knows from what we have
been kneaded , He remembers the dust that we are. (Ps 102-103)
The Right and Duty of the Church:
Interceding for the world
Pope John Paul II
Not a moment nor a period in history especially during a time as critical as
ours the Church cannot forget Prayer which is a call out to Gods Mercy
when facing multiple forms of evil that weigh upon mankind and threaten it.
Such are the essential right and duty of the Church, in Jesus Christ : this is
the right and duty of the Church towards God and towards men.
The more human conscience, succumbing to secularization, forgets the very
meaning of the word Mercy ; by distancing itself from God, the more
human conscience drifts away from the mystery of Mercy, and so more does the
Church have the right and duty to invoke Gods Mercy in loud voices .
These loud voices have to characterize the Church of our time (...)
... This is in this Mystery (the Paschal mystery) which carries in its nature, the
most complete revelation of Mercy, of Love stronger than death, stronger than
sin regardless of all evil, of Love that catches man on his deepest falls, and set
him free from the gravest threats...
(Dives in Misericordia 15)

I am Tenderness and Mercy.
Mercy for those who take the paths of perdition
J Subject yourself to my demands !
M What demands, oh my Jesus ?
J Be a limpid little brook that I stream forth upon the world.
Flow gently over its wounds, the breath of my love, refreshing and
strengthening.
Follow faithfully the way that I have drawn in front of you,
for my Love passes in you, you so little.
Do not turn aside from your path, this path plenty of Pure Love in
bloom.
No matter what is said or done, do not take your eyes off an instant
from my plan that I have composed for you, my daughter.
I am Tenderness and Mercy.
Mercy for those who take the paths of perdition,
which are clearly not joining the Royal Way of Merciful Love.
Tenderness and Mercy for painful suffering
which has been relentlessly breaking the Hearts of men.
Tenderness and Mercy for this world troubled and cruel,
who does not comprehend that Love is present inside the quagmire
portrayed by sins, which cease not offending my Divine Heart.
Mercy and Tenderness for sinner,
but I am Justice for sin and pride that dominate him.

Sorrowful mysteries O
First Mystery : Agony of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemani
J The sacrifice of the Cross will be enduring as long as there are sinners,
meaning until the end of times. Until that day, men will make their God
suffer.
(24 April 1966)

Second Mystery: The scourging of Jesus
J My little child, to the end of your life, you would have to suffer from
yourself and by others. Do not ask me to spare you from it.
What I give you as suffering is not unbearable for I take almost everything
on me. Must I not hold you under humility ?
(1 October 1966)
Third Mystery : The crowning of thorns
J It must have a great deal of love to suffer well. How many have turned
away from God in the hour of suffering. How petty their love is. And how
could they say that they love me ?
(30 November 1966)
Fourth Mystery: Jesus carries his Cross to Calvary
J Examine whether you are in disposition to suffer for My love :
rebuffs, derisions, contempts, persecutions, incomprehensions.
If yes, you are on the holy and glorious way of true love
(20 February 1967)
Fifth Mystery: Jesus is crucified and died on the Cross
M The secret of the King is exclusive, demanding and must be well guarded.
I live this secret intensely, watching it live, suffer, die and devote itself,
recover itself in order to give itself better.
