Application troubleshooting
Application Troubleshooting
This guide is to help you if you for some reason cannot get into Sorority Life, on Facebook or on MySpace.
Please be aware that there are sometimes momentary maintenance periods in which you may not be able to access the application for up to a few hours.
This guide is for when you are having systematic and constant problems accessing the application.
If you for some reason cannot load the app, please take the following steps to resolve the issue. Instructions and links can be found below.
Clear your browser cache/temporary internet files before trying to log in again.
Most web browsers store temporary copies of game files on your computer. Sometimes these files need to be manually deleted in order for the game to function properly.
Clearing the cache/temporary internet files frequently solves many loading problems with the game.
Below are a number of guides for the most common web browsers.
Check if your Firewall is not blocking connectivity
Each copy of Windows XP and Vista come with a built in software firewall. Sometimes these firewalls can interfere with the connection to the game.
In many cases adding your browser as an exception to the approved programs and services will solve connectivity issues.
In other cases you may have to reset your software firewall to the factory defaults.
keep in mind that most routers also function as firewalls. If this is the case you may want to even consider disabling your software firewall.
please check your Antivirus Suite. You may not realize it, but you may also have a firewall installed there, in addition to your Windows Firewall and router. Many people unintentionally double or triple firewall their computers, which can unfortunately result in a loss of connectivity to the game servers
If you don't put anything into confidence it's VERY easy for others to Terminally Depress you, and VERY difficult to terminally depress somebody else who's not on the burn list. With higher confidence, you are also able to get more influence points from fighting. And in the higher levels when it takes over 4,000 points to level up, influence points are HARD to get, but higher confidence helps you get more.
BUT, each time you put points into confidence, you are able to take more damage and it takes longer to get out of the spa so that you can fight more. And, the more points you put into confidence, the more points you're taking AWAY from other extremely important areas like charm and popularity (and energy if you're an organizer). So if your confidence is TOO high, it can actually make you a bit weaker.
I recommend putting 1 point into confidence every 2-3 levels until about level 15. Then, 1 point into confidence every few levels until your confidence is between 150 and 270. After that, only put points into confidence if attackers are able to terminally depress you when they attack you. If this is happening, put points into confidence and popularity. Both of these areas will help you keep from getting terminally depressed.
1) Go to the Glam page and click the "Sweethearts" tab. You can select any of the Boyfriends that you currently own to be your Sweetheart, who will show up on your profile as your doting man.
2) The boyfriend you select will get an immediate bump in stats.
3) "Pamper" your Sweetheart every day so that he will stay true. If you don't pamper him, he may get tired of not hearing from you and will move on. Also, pampering your boyfriend will mean that no one can steal him that day.
4) If you need a new Sweetheart, you can try to steal one from one of the sisters in your house. Every time a Sweetheart is stolen, his stats will increase-- so if you work with your sisters, you can create a super-powerful boyfriend item by stealing him back and forth!
5) If one of your sisters does not currently have a Sweetheart, you can play "matchmaker" and suggest a sweetheart for her! Doing this for all your sisters will help them win fights, since a Sweetheart is a high-stats item.
6) If a boyfriend is stolen or leaves you, he is gone from your inventory, except for LE Boyfriends, who cannot be stolen (they can leave you if you don't pamper them, but will still be in your inventory). Also, Malcolm should be categorized as an LE, so I wouldn't recommend selecting him right now as he could get stolen.
Alright, big new feature, would love to hear your thoughts!
(also, there won't be any Sweethearts to steal right away, since a Sweetheart can't be stolen the same day that he is selected...)
(make sure to clear your cache to see the new changes...)

This is a General Strategy Guide to help you answer commonly asked questions on the forum. This thread includes the following posts: Banking vs. Not Banking Pros and Cons of Secondary Characters High vs. Low Confidence More Sisters vs. Fewer Sisters LE Items vs. Boarders
Banking ~VS~ Not Banking By Ange0212
When you bank, you lose 10% of your money. In the long run, you lose more money that way than you do in fights, but if you bank it your money can't be taken in fights.
If you don't bank your money, you risk the chance of losing it in fights if you are attacked an lose.
I may have found 3 different ways to possibly help that, especially if you're going to be away for a long time and you won't have the opportunity to bank your money.
1.Give your information to someone else who you trust, even if you change your password to a generic one like “APPLES01” or something like that and then change it back to your original password when you're done. Just tell the person they are strictly to check your Applications, accept friends requests, and bank your money. They aren't to do anything else. 2.Instead of banking, buy glam items HIGH in Popularity Values. Stocking up on high popularity items helps you out in the long run while you're away and gives you a better chance to win fights, rather than lose them (and money) when you are attacked and can't access a computer. The benefit of that, if you are ever short a few dollars for a new job, sell off some lower glam items that you don't need (but you bought to save that 10% banking fee) and get money in return. 3.Create a secondary Character. This way you can switch your higher character to a lower level (like 1 or 2) with no job, no glam, no nothing...you will lose fights if you're attacked, But, you won't lose the money you have sitting outside of the bank on your higher level character.
The pros about having secondary characters are that if you are going to be away for a long period of time (such as said above) and you can't bank your money, there's a sure fire way of not losing any of the money. You won't have to worry about giving anyone your password or anything else. You can let your “decoy” take the pounding and your main character has nothing to lose. Also, with the secondary Sister, you share sisters (and achievements now) as well as brownie points, so you'll show up as a level 1 with 500 sisters in your house and probably won't get messed with as much.
The cons about creating a secondary character are that although you don't get attacked and lose money, you also don't generate any money, stamina, energy, or confidence. Another con is that all of your characters share brownie points, and that when you level up on a secondary character, you won't get a brownie point for that character until you level up higher then the highest level character on your account (whether it be level 5 or level 50). Also, if you want to purchase a brownie points item for your character, it is not shared with all characters so if you'd want it for all of your characters, you'd have to spend the brownie points once, twice, three, up to 10 times (if that's how many characters you have).
With the secondary characters, there come rules as well, like the ones listed above, there are a few others. Such as, if you switch characters, you CAN NOT switch to another character (or create another one) for a minimum of 60 minutes on the nose (not 59:59, but 60:00) or longer. With the secondary character, with the new achievements, you can get the leveling achievements with a new character that you can't get on a main character.
A lot of people think that if they can't get all of their sisters glammed up, then they won't add more sisters until they can afford to get glam for them. While in theory, this makes sense, in actuality, it doesn't, and here's why.
Let's say you're a level 50. And, you have 50 points put into popularity (which you should at level 50). Let's also say that you have 100 sisters because that's all that you can glam up right now at your level. Each sister you have brings with her 50 points when somebody attacks you (because you have 50 skill points invested in popularity). So, 100*50=5,000. That's 5,000 points that your sisters fight with. And that's just for HAVING them! That doesn't even count the glam that you have!
Now, let's say that you are still a level 50 and still have 50 popularity points (which, again, you should at level 50) and this time, you have 250 or more sisters (the most you can fight with at level 50 because you can only fight with 5x your level). Now, your sisters are bringing an extra 12,500 points!!! That's a difference of 7,500 points! That's the equvilant of 625 hummer limos! You can't even FIGHT with 625 hummer limos at level 50 (because you can only fight with 5x your level). So that's a HUGE advantage that you have simply by HAVING them as sisters!
So, the more sisters you have, the better off you are, even if you can't glam them all up. And, if you're wondering how to glam up ALL of your sisters without breaking your bank account, read Glam 101 for tips on how to do that at each level
Strategy Based Characters & General Fighting Tips:
Building a Bounty Hunter
A lot of people on here have expressed frustrations with not being able to get gratitudes on the burn list. One of the things about being a bounty hunter is that you’ve got to have the right set-up for bounty hunting. Putting your skill points in the right places, having the right glam, and having the right house size are crucial elements to being able to successfully bounty hunt. Below, I have outlined the requirements for building a NEW bounty hunter. Chances are, if you’re higher up in levels, and your character isn’t already set up to bounty hunt, the best thing to do would be to start a new character. You can have up to 10 on one account.
1. Time. In order to bounty hunt, you’ve got to dedicate a lot of time to sitting on the computer and refreshing your screen. If you’re the type of person who goes to the burn list, sees that there’s nobody there, and then leaves that tab, then bounty hunting is not for you. If you go there, refresh a few times, then get bored and leave after a minute or two, then bounty hunting is not for you. But if you’re willing to invest A LOT of time into refreshing the screen, perhaps for several hours, then keep reading.
2. House Size. To start a bounty hunter, you’re going to need a big house. Add everyone you can!!! You’ll need all the sisters you can get if you want to be successful at bounty hunting. The bigger your house, the more powerful you are. I would recommend having AT LEAST 50 in your house to start. The first few levels go QUICK and you NEED to be ahead of the 5x your level mark. That’s a must!!!
3. Skill Points. Every time you level up, put your points in the following categories: 2 charm, 1 popularity. Then, the next time you level up, do 1 stamina, 1 charm. Alternate between these until you have about 5-7 stamina. Dion't get carried away with stamina. I know it’s tempting to put everything into stamina so you can keep fighting on the burn list, but since it costs 2 skill points per stamina, you can very easily make yourself weaker by having too much stamina. Putting skill points into confidence allows you to fight more before having to go to the spa, but it also has drawbacks in that you stay in the spa longer. But, the more confidence you have, the more damage you can potentially do to somebody on the BL because the damage done in fights is determined by the person with the lowest max confidence. So, if you add a few points to confidence, and the person you are attacking has also added to confidence, then you can potentially do more damage (even if you lose the fight) and therefore have a better chance of being the person who brings their confidence to zero. Also make popularity a priority as well. If you don’t put anything into popularity, you will lose when people retaliate against you (which they will) for taking them off the burn list. Do NOT leave yourself unprotected by neglecting popularity. My personal rule of thumb is always keep your popularity equal to your level or higher, no matter what kind of character you are. But just remember to keep charm top priority. I would try to put 1 point into popularity each time you level up and 2 points into charm.
4. Job. Always try to have the best job available. You need that money for upkeep. That won’t be your primary income for long, but you DO need it for upkeep costs.
5. Glam. To start off, buy 5 formal dresses. Then, attack people on the fight list with only 1 sister. Then, use whatever money you have on juicy couture dresses - level 6 ($6,000 each, 2 charm/4 pop and no upkeep) and ipods (2,000 each, 3 charm/1 pop and no upkeep). When you get more money, you will sell your ipods and buy blackberries. Then, work on getting a prius for everyone in your house up to 5x your level. Try to buy as much as you can for the cheapest upkeep you can. You’ll upgrade later on, but right now, low upkeep is important! Don’t rush yourself!!! It takes some time to build all of this up, so do that first! Don’t try to jump into the burn list too quickly! You will probably terminally depress yourself on your first attack by accident.
6. Starting to Bounty Hunt. To find the burn list, go to the "fight" tab. Then, you will see two sub-tabs. One says "Rival Attack" and the other says "Burn List." Click Burn List, and you're there. You'll probably have to refresh many, many, many times before seeing somebody, and then when you do, you need to be QUICK to get them! You ONLY get the bounty if you terminally depress them! Just because you win a fight does NOT mean that you win the bounty!!! So, you have close to 1 accessory and 1 outfit for everyone in your house up to 5x your level, and at least a couple of priuses and bicycles and you’re ready to hit the burn list! Attack the targets as soon as they come up. Sometimes, you’ll use ALL of your stamina on ONE person. You may get the gratitude, you may not. The important thing is to keep trying! Eventually you WILL get that gratitude!
7. Keeping Your Level Low. Once you start getting gratitudes, you will become so addicted that you won’t ever want to quit! LOL! But, you can only attack people your level or higher. The higher you get in levels, the fewer people will show up on your burn list. So, it’s important to keep your level as low as you can for as long as you can. This is why I recommend not getting very much energy. In order to keep your level low, you COULD terminally depress yourself (and therefore lose influence points), but then that counts as a depression on your stats, so there's a benefit and a cost to terminally depressing yourself, but the choice ultimately is yours. If you care about your stats and don't like having many depressions, then don't terminally depress yourself. If you do choose to terminally depress yourself, go to the In Crowd List and find somebody that's 50 levels higher than you or higher on either the Most Vicious List or the Queen Bee list. Attack them when your confidence is 20% of your max confidence (so, if your max confidence is 100, attack them when your confidence is 20. If you max confidence is 150, attack them when your confidencce is 30). DO NOT DO EVENTS!!! Events give LOTS of influence points and make you level up quickly. You will probably want to stay lower than level 30 for as long as you can so you can collect as many burns as you can.
8. Maintaining the Bounty Hunter. As you get better at bounty hunting, you’ll start to make A LOT of money and won’t want to stop! LOL! Put your income into better glam for your sisters. Sell your prius' for Mercedes. Then, sell your Mercedes for Cadillacs. Then, sell your Cadillacs for Hummer Limos. Sell your juicy couture dresses for Flowered Blouses. Sell your ipods for Blackberries. Keep the blackberries for a while, and integrate a few items with upkeep into your glam. Also, always make sure that you stay ahead of the 5x your level max on sisters. You can HAVE more than that in your house… you just can’t FIGHT with more than that. As you get better at bounty hunting, start spreading your skill points out, keeping charm a high priority. DO NOT put many skill points into energy! You will only become a weaker character this way! As you go, you will discover your weaknesses. The beauty is that if you’re a decent bounty hunter, you’ll have enough money to correct these weaknesses in order to become a BETTER bounty hunter. The biggest thing I can say is KEEP TRYING!!! Don’t give up! The rewards are SO worth it!!! Building a Stats Character:
This can still be followed, however, you will need to watch your influence point gained very carefully and TD yourself by attacking a good player who is SEVERAL levels higher than yourself.
~~~> DO NOT COMPLETE EVENTS <~~~
1.) Start your level 1 by purchasing 5 of the white formal dresses (You Should have $2000 to start with, this will leave you with $500) next purchase 5 cell phone, and 5 priuses...as you build money you will want to work on upgrading to the glam items that have the most CHARM available at your level...
DON'T FORGET THAT YOU ARE FIGHTING WITH 5 TIMES YOUR LEVEL...LEVEL ONE NEEDS 5 SISTERS OUTFITTED, LEVEL TWO NEEDS 10 SISTERS OUTFITTED...ETC
2.) Start out by looking to fight sisters with only 1 or 2 people in their house. Don’t fight them off the fight list, rather open their stats page so you can view what they have and if they have a job, attack from their stats page…This helps you pick who to fight, you want to try and attack someone who has no glam and a job. Also, once you have sent them to the spa DON’T close out the page, keep checking to see if they have popped back out of the spa (by attacking). If you hit them, right when they pop out you stand a good chance of depressing them.
3.) As the money builds from each attack (the most you will win on level 1 is $500 per attack) buy as many small item glam pieces as possible (Look for whatever is the best buy but HIGH IN CHARM)after you have purchased all the cheap glam start to upgrade.
4.) When you do level up (which should be slow) place ALL your skills points into charm (at least for the first few levels) because it is highly unlikely you will get attacked while down there and if you do and have purchased a bunch of glam you should be fine. You really don’t need to worry about confidence because once you become strong enough you can depress someone who has 50 more confidence than you…. Overall Confidence Lost......................Point You Are in the Spa 100 = 29 .................................................. .19 110 = 32 .................................................. .21 120 = 35 .................................................. .23 130 = 38 .................................................. .25 140 = 41 .................................................. .27 150 = 44 .................................................. .29
5.)DON’T PLAY THE BURN LIST>>>THIS CHARACTER IS NOT A BOUNTY HUNTER, JUST “STATS HUNGRY”…you can easily convert this character to bounty hunter later if you like!!!
Fighting Tips and Trick Overview:
This Strategy Guide is intended to help players become better attackers and/or defenders.
Choosing a Character Type
When you first start your character, you should decide fairly quickly what type of character you want to be. If you like a lot of action, fighting and drama, then you are probably going to want to be an attacker. If you’re more of a truce talker than a problem starter and don’t like fighting and drama, then you will probably want to organize more events. Once you decide what you want to be, you can choose the appropriate path below to create the type of character you want to have.
Attacker:
As an attacker, you will want to find a balance between charm, popularity, stamina AND confidence. The following method is a suggestion for dispensing skill points when you level up: First time, 2 in charm, 1 in popularity Next time, 1 stamina (because it takes 2 skill points for 1 stamina) and 1 popularity Next time, 1 charm, 1 popularity, 1 your choice (conf., energy, charm or popularity)
Stamina
Alternate between these each time you level up until you get about 5-7 stamina. More stamina than that and you're going to make yourself weak because they take 2 points each and you'll be taking away from more important areas.
Energy I would put as few points into energy as possible. The more points you put into energy, the weaker a fighter you will be because those are points that you are taking away from the other more important areas. However, some energy is good because with the addition of masteries, you can gain more skill points. So, do the events that require low energy, but give you more skill points.
Confidence
Confidence is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, if you only have 100 confidence, and the person you are attacking has high confidence, you can ATM them more times before they go to the spa. The downside is that you won't be able to depress as many people if you have low max confidence. Low confidence for attackers is good if you like to hit people the max number of times you can before they go to the spa, but like I said, if you're trying to depress as many people as possible, then you WILL need higher confidence. You just have to decide what's more important to you - money or the girls depressed stat on your page.
Popularity
Even though you're an attacker, you STILL need to keep your popularity equal to your level or higher. This is because attackers have a 1.4 advantage over the defender. Also, glam tends to favor charm more than it does popularity. And, you can choose who you attack, but you cannot choose who attacks you. And, if you have low popularity, you WILL lose money when people attack you, and if you don't want to be their ATM, then you better have a good defense.
Glam
For your glam, you will need both high charm AND high popularity glam. If you’re an attacker, you WILL be attacked and if you don’t want to lose, then you’ll need to have items high in popularity as well. Just remember that quantity is more important than quality until you have all of your sisters glammed up. Then, you can start getting items with better charm/popularity.
Organizer:
As an organizer, you will put most of your skill points into energy and popularity with some points thrown into confidence. Follow the following method each time you level up: 1 popularity, 1 energy, 1 confidence. Next time: 2 energy, 1 popularity. Once your confidence is at about 150 or so, hold off on confidence and alternate between 2 points in popularity and 1 point in energy and 1 point in popularity and 2 points in energy every other level up. You can play with these as you wish, just remember to keep popularity at or above (preferably above) your level.
Glam
For your glam, you will focus primarily on items higher in popularity (for when you are attacked). Remember that quantity is more important than quality until you have all of your sisters glammed up. Then, you can start getting more expensive items that have better popularity.
Events
Do the events that give you more skill points first. Put those skill points into energy and popularity.
HYBRID
A lot of people like both fighting AND organizing. But, it's really hard to do both successfully since you only get a limited amount of skill points. Finding a good balance between all 5 areas (charm, popularity, confidence, energy and stamina) can be quite tricky. But, it IS possible, and so, I am outlining a guide for creating a character that is good at both.
Bounty Hunting
THIS CHARACTER IS NOT A BOUNTY HUNTER!!!!!!!!! When you bounty hunt, you want to keep your level low. Events make you level quickly because they give you LOTS of influence. Therefore, a character that both attacks and does events would NOT be a good choice for a bounty hunter. If you are wanting to be a bounty hunter, read Building a Bounty Hunter.
Stamina To create a hybrid character, you should have 3 stamina. Period. If you won the starbucks card, then you should have 6. (p.s. you start with 3, and the startbucks card gives you 3. So basically, I'm saying don't spend ANY skill points on stamina). Stamina cost 2 points each, so if you add points to stamina, you're going to be taking away from other very precious areas.
Confidence
Confidence is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, if you're an attacker, and you attack the max number of times you can until somebody is in the spa, then do NOT add anything to confidence. If you want to depress as many people as you can to get the achievement stats on your stats page, then you will need confidence to do that. BUT, your skill points are precious, and there are more important areas if you are going to be both an attacker and organizer. Remember that as a hybrid, you're putting points into energy, AND charm AND popularity, so the more points you put into confidence, the more points you're stealing from the other areas.
Popularity
Put one point into popularity each level up. Any skill points you get from masteries should also go into popularity. It's VERY important to keep popularity equal to or above your level.
Charm Put one point into charm every few level ups. Attackers have the advantage in this game (it's roughly 1.4 times the defender's points). Plus, you can choose who you attack, and, most people have poor popularity, so even with only a few charm points, you can beat them!
Energy
Put 1-2 points into energy each level up. There are going to be lots of events you will want to do that will require more energy than the one point per level up, so my advice is to take it from charm, since popularity is WAY more important (you can choose who you attack. You CANNOT choose who attacks you.
Glam
ALWAYS have 1 accessory, 1 outfit and 1 ride for EVERY sister in your house up to 5x your level. For a list of what glam you should be working on buying for each level category, read Glam 101. I cannot stress enough how important it is to ALWAYS have 1 accessory, 1 outfit and 1 ride for EVERY sister in your house (up to 5x your level) and having a full house. I personally believe that a hybrid character cannot successfully be achieved if you don't have a full house who is fully glammed up.
Events
The events you will want to concentrate on will be the ones that give you skill points, since you're spreading them out so much. To find out which events give you the most skill points, read Mastery Rewards. But with only 10 energy, you can actually get 25 skill points, and if you get the pillow, you can get 4 more with no more than 15 energy TOTAL!
Compliments of Christopher:
Freshman Icebreaker - 1 Night Out On The Town - 1 Sorority House Costume Party - 2 Accessories Sale At The Mall - 3 Blind Dates - 1 Theme Party - 1 Spring Break In Miami - 1 Rent Beach House - 1 Clothing Sale at the Mall - 2 Stage A Musical Production - 3 Bake~A~Thon for Charity - 1 Caribbean Cruise - 3 South Seas Cruise - BPs needed - 3 Attend Designer Gallery Opening - 1 Accessories Shopping Spree - 1 25 subtotal
Valentine Shopping Spree & Bash - 3 Shop For A Formal Dress - 1 4 subtotal
As soon as it becomes available (level 3), do the Night Out on the Town event until you achieve mastery because it gives you the pillow worth 5 extra energy points that will be VERY valuable to you. Then, do the Beach Cleanup and Bonfire event as soon as it becomes available because it gives you the starbucks card worth 3 stamina. Since you're not putting ANY points into stamina, that will REALLY help you out in the fighting category!
Creating a "hybrid" character IS possible! Many people do it, and it really combines the two best aspects of the game into one VERY strong and powerful character!
A lot of people on here have expressed frustrations with not being able to get gratitudes on the burn list. One of the things about being a bounty hunter is that you’ve got to have the right set-up for bounty hunting. Putting your skill points in the right places, having the right glam, and having the right house size are crucial elements to being able to successfully bounty hunt. Below, I have outlined the requirements for building a NEW bounty hunter. Chances are, if you’re higher up in levels, and your character isn’t already set up to bounty hunt, the best thing to do would be to start a new character. You can have up to 10 on one account.
1. Time.
In order to bounty hunt, you’ve got to dedicate a lot of time to sitting on the computer and refreshing your screen. If you’re the type of person who goes to the burn list, sees that there’s nobody there, and then leaves that tab, then bounty hunting is not for you. If you go there, refresh a few times, then get bored and leave after a minute or two, then bounty hunting is not for you. But if you’re willing to invest A LOT of time into refreshing the screen, perhaps for several hours, then keep reading.
2. House Size.
To start a bounty hunter, you’re going to need a big house. Add everyone you can!!! You’ll need all the sisters you can get if you want to be successful at bounty hunting. The bigger your house, the more powerful you are. I would recommend having AT LEAST 50 in your house to start. The first few levels go QUICK and you NEED to be ahead of the 5x your level mark. That’s a must!!!
3. Skill Points.
Every time you level up, put your points in the following categories: 2 charm, 1 popularity. Then, the next time you level up, do 1 stamina, 1 charm. Alternate between these until you have about 5-7 stamina. Dion't get carried away with stamina. I know it’s tempting to put everything into stamina so you can keep fighting on the burn list, but since it costs 2 skill points per stamina, you can very easily make yourself weaker by having too much stamina. Putting skill points into confidence allows you to fight more before having to go to the spa, but it also has drawbacks in that you stay in the spa longer. But, the more confidence you have, the more damage you can potentially do to somebody on the BL because the damage done in fights is determined by the person with the lowest max confidence. So, if you add a few points to confidence, and the person you are attacking has also added to confidence, then you can potentially do more damage (even if you lose the fight) and therefore have a better chance of being the person who brings their confidence to zero. Also make popularity a priority as well. If you don’t put anything into popularity, you will lose when people retaliate against you (which they will) for taking them off the burn list. Do NOT leave yourself unprotected by neglecting popularity. My personal rule of thumb is always keep your popularity equal to your level or higher, no matter what kind of character you are. But just remember to keep charm top priority. I would try to put 1 point into popularity each time you level up and 2 points into charm.
4. Job. Always try to have the best job available. You need that money for upkeep. That won’t be your primary income for long, but you DO need it for upkeep costs.
5. Glam. To start off, buy 5 formal dresses. Then, attack people on the fight list with only 1 sister. Then, use whatever money you have on juicy couture dresses - level 6 ($6,000 each, 2 charm/4 pop and no upkeep) and ipods (2,000 each, 3 charm/1 pop and no upkeep). When you get more money, you will sell your ipods and buy blackberries. Then, work on getting a prius for everyone in your house up to 5x your level. Try to buy as much as you can for the cheapest upkeep you can. You’ll upgrade later on, but right now, low upkeep is important! Don’t rush yourself!!! It takes some time to build all of this up, so do that first! Don’t try to jump into the burn list too quickly! You will probably terminally depress yourself on your first attack by accident.
6. Starting to Bounty Hunt.
To find the burn list, go to the "fight" tab. Then, you will see two sub-tabs. One says "Rival Attack" and the other says "Burn List." Click Burn List, and you're there. You'll probably have to refresh many, many, many times before seeing somebody, and then when you do, you need to be QUICK to get them! You ONLY get the bounty if you terminally depress them! Just because you win a fight does NOT mean that you win the bounty!!! So, you have close to 1 accessory and 1 outfit for everyone in your house up to 5x your level, and at least a couple of priuses and bicycles and you’re ready to hit the burn list! Attack the targets as soon as they come up. Sometimes, you’ll use ALL of your stamina on ONE person. You may get the gratitude, you may not. The important thing is to keep trying! Eventually you WILL get that gratitude!
7. Keeping Your Level Low.
Once you start getting gratitudes, you will become so addicted that you won’t ever want to quit! LOL! But, you can only attack people your level or higher. The higher you get in levels, the fewer people will show up on your burn list. So, it’s important to keep your level as low as you can for as long as you can. This is why I recommend not getting very much energy. In order to keep your level low, you COULD terminally depress yourself (and therefore lose influence points), but then that counts as a depression on your stats, so there's a benefit and a cost to terminally depressing yourself, but the choice ultimately is yours. If you care about your stats and don't like having many depressions, then don't terminally depress yourself. If you do choose to terminally depress yourself, go to the In Crowd List and find somebody that's 50 levels higher than you or higher on either the Most Vicious List or the Queen Bee list. Attack them when your confidence is 20% of your max confidence (so, if your max confidence is 100, attack them when your confidence is 20. If you max confidence is 150, attack them when your confidencce is 30). DO NOT DO EVENTS!!! Events give LOTS of influence points and make you level up quickly. You will probably want to stay lower than level 30 for as long as you can so you can collect as many burns as you can.
8. Maintaining the Bounty Hunter.
As you get better at bounty hunting, you’ll start to make A LOT of money and won’t want to stop! LOL! Put your income into better glam for your sisters. Sell your prius' for Mercedes. Then, sell your Mercedes for Cadillacs. Then, sell your Cadillacs for Hummer Limos. Sell your juicy couture dresses for Flowered Blouses. Sell your ipods for Blackberries. Keep the blackberries for a while, and integrate a few items with upkeep into your glam. Also, always make sure that you stay ahead of the 5x your level max on sisters. You can HAVE more than that in your house… you just can’t FIGHT with more than that. As you get better at bounty hunting, start spreading your skill points out, keeping charm a high priority. DO NOT put many skill points into energy! You will only become a weaker character this way! As you go, you will discover your weaknesses. The beauty is that if you’re a decent bounty hunter, you’ll have enough money to correct these weaknesses in order to become a BETTER bounty hunter. The biggest thing I can say is KEEP TRYING!!! Don’t give up! The rewards are SO worth it!!!
This can still be followed, however, you will need to watch your influence point gained very carefully and TD yourself by attacking a good player who is SEVERAL levels higher than yourself. ~~~> DO NOT COMPLETE EVENTS <~~~
1.) Start your level 1 by purchasing 5 of the white formal dresses (You Should have $2000 to start with, this will leave you with $500) next purchase 5 cell phone, and 5 priuses...as you build money you will want to work on upgrading to the glam items that have the most CHARM available at your level...
DON'T FORGET THAT YOU ARE FIGHTING WITH 5 TIMES YOUR LEVEL...LEVEL ONE NEEDS 5 SISTERS OUTFITTED, LEVEL TWO NEEDS 10 SISTERS OUTFITTED...ETC
2.) Start out by looking to fight sisters with only 1 or 2 people in their house. Don’t fight them off the fight list, rather open their stats page so you can view what they have and if they have a job, attack from their stats page…This helps you pick who to fight, you want to try and attack someone who has no glam and a job. Also, once you have sent them to the spa DON’T close out the page, keep checking to see if they have popped back out of the spa (by attacking). If you hit them, right when they pop out you stand a good chance of depressing them.
3.) As the money builds from each attack (the most you will win on level 1 is $500 per attack) buy as many small item glam pieces as possible (Look for whatever is the best buy but HIGH IN CHARM)after you have purchased all the cheap glam start to upgrade.
4.) When you do level up (which should be slow) place ALL your skills points into charm (at least for the first few levels) because it is highly unlikely you will get attacked while down there and if you do and have purchased a bunch of glam you should be fine. You really don’t need to worry about confidence because once you become strong enough you can depress someone who has 50 more confidence than you…. Overall Confidence Lost......................Point You Are in the Spa 100 = 29 .................................................. .19 110 = 32 .................................................. .21 120 = 35 .................................................. .23 130 = 38 .................................................. .25 140 = 41 .................................................. .27 150 = 44 .................................................. .29
5.)DON’T PLAY THE BURN LIST>>>THIS CHARACTER IS NOT A BOUNTY HUNTER, JUST “STATS HUNGRY”…you can easily convert this character to bounty hunter later if you like!!!
This is one of the most common questions asked on this forum, and the answers are almost always the same. Here's a guide to figuring out for yourself if your character is strong or weak.
WHY AM I LOSING ALL OF MY FIGHTS?!?! To answer this question, check your level and your number of sisters and ask yourself the following question:
Do I have enough sisters?
You should ALWAYS have 5x your level in sisters. This is a MUST! So, for example, if you're a level 20, you need 100 or more sisters. The exception to this rule is if you're over level 100. You can only fight with 500 people max unless you buy boarders for 20 brownie points each, or with the event masteries. So, at level 101, you can fight with 505 sisters IF you have 5 boarders, level 102 - 510 sisters if you have 10 boarders, etc... But before level 100, you should have at least 5x your level in sisters. If you don't have that many sisters, head on over to the "Add Me/Join My House" section and ADD, ADD, ADD! And/Or, put your add information in your signature so that people can add you that way. DO NOT add your information in other areas on the forum! That's a great way to get it deleted, get an infraction and possibly even banned from the forum! Don't do it.
OK, I did that, and I have 5 times my level in sisters, but I'm still losing a lot of fights. What next?
Next, ask yourself the following question:
Do I lose fights when I attack, when other people attack me or both?
If you are losing most of your fights when you attack other people, try attacking people with smaller houses than yours. That should do the trick. Also add more skill points to charm. If you are losing fights when others attack you, then keep reading. This particular problem is harder to fix because you can always choose who you attack, but you cannot choose who attacks you. It's also a more important problem to fix because if you lose a fight that YOU start, you don't lose money. But if you lose a fight when somebody else attacks you, and you have money outside of the bank, then you lose a percentage of that money, up to $100,000. So, fixing this problem is very important. The good news is, there ARE solutions. Read on for more info on this.
OK, I realized that I am losing fights when others attack me and need help fixing this problem. What do I do?
Go to the "Myself" tab and look at your skill points and answer the following question:
Are my popularity points equal to my level or higher? If not, then that's the reason why you're losing a lot of fights when you're attacked. The most important thing in this game is house size. The #2 most important thing is skill point placement. Popularity is EXTREMELY important, no matter what kind of character you are if you don't want to lose when others attack you. For charm, you can choose who you attack. If you don't have many points in charm, but you have a large house, you can attack people with small houses and usually win. But you CAN'T choose who attacks you. So, your popularity MUST be equal to your level or higher if you want to have a strong defense. I recommend higher. Get as many extra skill points as you can from event masteries and put them into popularity! For more information on why a popularity/skill points are so important, read Little Known Formulas of the Game - Formula #2. Read the first post in this thread for skill point distribution advice.
OK, I have 5x my level in sisters, and my skill points are in the right places, but I'm still losing fights! Now what?
Go to your Glam tab and ask yourself this question:
Do I have the right glam?
NOW, it's time to check your glam. Most people try to fix this one first, not realizing that it's the least important of the three. Yes, having the right glam is important, but there are limits to the amounts of glam you can have. You can only fight with 1 accessory, 1 outfit, 1 ride per sister and 1 boyfriend, up to 5 times your level. So, if you're a level 50 and you have 1,000 sisters, and you have 1,000 rhinestone vests/skinny jeans, I'm sorry, but you're only fighting with 250 of them!
So, how do I figure out if I have the right glam for my level?
Read Glam 101 to help you build your glam according to whatever level you are currently at.
But wait a minute!!! You said that my sisters can only fight with 1 accessory, 1 outfit, 1 ride and boyfriend! But in Glam 101, for most levels, you have TWO accessories, TWO outfits and even sometimes, TWO rides listed! What gives?! Well, this is because you do NOT fight with the same glam when you are attacking as when you are defending. For instance, your mocha suede boots are great for when you attack, BUT, they have lousy popularity, so you should ALSO have a full set of chocolate ankle boots for defense. Same thing with outfits and rides. Sometimes, the best item for charm IS ALSO the best item for popularity. But when you get higher up in levels, this is no longer the case. So, you need a full set of both.
OK, I figured out why I'm losing so many fights! Now what do I do about it?
If your popularity points are so far off base that it would take like 50 levels to catch yourself up to where you need to be, then it's probably best that you create a new character. If you don't want to do that, and you simply want to play the game, then do as many of the event masteries as you can that give skill points and put them into popularity. The good news is that if you have decided to start a new character, you have read all of this and are a MUCH wiser player and won't make the same mistakes with your new character that you did the last time.
I've done all of that, and I'm STILL losing fights! If you are over level 100 and are losing a lot of fights when others attack you, it is probably because you don't have enough boarders. If you use your extra characters carefully, you can actually earn up to 70 boarders with your mini characters that can also be used on your main account. Also, try using your brownie points on boarders and NOT LE glam. For more on why this is, read Boarders vs. LE Glam.
If you're under level 100 and have done all of these things, then you shouldn't be losing too many fights. People will ALWAYS be able to get through, but the percentage shouldn't be very high.
Glam or Skill Points - Which is More Important?
Let's use a level 20 for example. At level 20, you can fight with up to 100 sisters (and you should have at least 100 sisters at level 20!) So, a person with 100 sisters can fight with 100 accessories, 100 outfits and 100 rides.
For this example, let's make it simple and only look at charm. The same can be done for popularity, but for right now, we're just going to use charm. Let's say this level 20 has 100 Lifetime Spray Tans (16 charm), 100 flowered blouses (7 charm) and 100 hummer limos (10 charm).
In glam points, this person has a total of 3300 points.
OK, this level 20 is ready to attack! However, she has only 1 point put into charm (the one that you get when you start the game). So, add an additional 100 points (1 skill point for each of her 100 sisters). So, she has a total of 3400 points.
OK now, we have a different attacker. This attacker is also a level 20, also has 100 sisters, but is using the following to fight with:
BUT, this level 20 has put 35 points into charm (at level 20, this is not unreasonable for an attacker to do, especially if you gain more skill points from doing mastery events and put them into charm as well).
So, this attacker now has 3500 points just from skill points, and ALSO has 300 points from her glam for a total of 3800 points!
And, the higher up you go, the more important skill points in charm and popularity become!!!
Of course, the BEST combination is to be strong in both glam points and skill points. But this illustration is just to show that you cannot simply use your glam as a substitute for putting your skill points into charm and/or popularity.
Brownie points for 200, 400, 800 and 2,000 confidence guide.
Create a character for NOTHING ELSE other than leveling up to put points into confidence. Your stats are going to suck on this character and you will get depressed (meaning that you will lose influence points each time you get depressed, making it take even LONGER to get it) until your confidence gets pretty high. After a while, even when you lose, you won't get depressed because your confidence will be so high, but in the beginning, you'll get attacked and depressed A LOT if you don't have a large house. But if you want to do it, then here's a guide:
Character Type.
Choose Diva. Divas gain energy 10% faster. They should gain confidence 10% quicker, but they don't. For this purpose, you want to gain energy quicker so that you can level up quicker. Energy is what's going to help you do that (by completing events).
Skill Points.
Put 1 point into energy and 2 points into confidence each level up. The energy is to help you level up quicker. If you simply put all of your points into confidence, then you won't have much energy to do events, and you won't be able to fight because you won't have any charm points. If you want to do 1 energy every other level up, that would work too. So, I suggest that you put one point into energy each level up so that you can at least organize events to level up.
Sisters. You should have at least 1,000 sisters in your house that you have NOT already used for the Stage a Musical Production or Ultimate Spring Break events. You're going to want to do the Stage a Musical Production event A LOT to level up quickly to get these awards. The sisters requirement for this event goes up each time you do it, but it's the quickest way to gain money and influence in the early levels. So, if for instance, the requirement for the Stage a Musical Production event in your house is 400 sisters, you will need a minimum of 1,400 sisters to be able to get this achievement.
Glam.
Buy popularity items ONLY. This is not an attacker. If you attack people, you're most likely going to lose (because you're not putting any points into charm). You're also not putting any points into popularity, so high popularity glam items are EXTREMELY important. This will help you not get depressed so many times.
Events
Do all of the masteries that give you extra skill points and put them ALL into confidence. Also do the Stage a Musical Production event as much as possible to get as many influence points as possible to level up quickly.
It will probably take A LONG time to do this (probably a month and a half), but you should reach 2000 confidence by level 75 or so with this method. When you are done, save that character and never play with it again. You can't delete it, but luckily in Sorority Life, you can have up to 10 characters. Let that one just be dead weight. If you try to use it for anything other than for getting this achievement, then your stats are going to suck and you're going to keep losing all of your fights!
The good news is, however, your other characters can use the brownie points that you earn on this useless character!
Hard to Get Achievements- 50 Stamina
Going for the 50 Stamina Achievement
The platinum achievement for stamina is 50. If you have read on this forum a lot, then you know that I don't recommend getting more than 10-12 stamina, even if you're an attacker (and organizers should have 3. Period). But, there are achievements for higher stamina, and since we all love those brownie points and will do just about anything to get them, I have created a guide for getting the 50 stamina achievement. I suggest using this character for nothing else other than getting this achievement, since this character won't be good for much else, since it's not going to have ANY popularity.
Character Type. To get this achievement, I would choose Diva. Divas gain energy 10% quicker. They're SUPPOSED to gain confidence 10% quicker, but they don't. You're probably going to find yourself doing a lot of events, and since divas gain energy quicker, that COULD help you level up faster to get this achievement as quickly as you can.
Skill Points. Stamina points take 2 skill points each level up. So, no matter what you do, you're only going to be able to get ONE stamina per level up. What you do with that other skill point is up to you, but here's my recommendation. Each level up, do 1 stamina. Then, with the other skill point, follow this strategy:
- First time: One energy - Next time: One charm - Next time: Save and do 2 stamina the next time.
If you are doing events, you will also be getting extra skill points for the masteries. Use those skill points wisely! I am currently getting this achievement by saving each skill point I get from mastery and putting it towards stamina next time I level up. I am currently a level 16 with 24 stamina! Leveling up from fighting ONLY takes a LONG time. So, I recommend switching it up a bit. I am also putting a point or two into confidence every once in a while because with that much stamina, I go through my confidence pretty quickly, and I'm spending most of my money in the spa. So, put a couple points into confidence as well from time to time.
Glam. For this character, focus on charm. You're going to have TONS of stamina, so use that to your best advantage as possible! I have found while getting this achievement, I am fighting A LOT more than I thought I would. Buy cheap glam! But also make sure that each sister has 1 accessory, 1 outfit and 1 ride to fight with. Attack small houses, and you should be fine (provided your house is large enough house to keep ahead of the 5x your level cap).
Sisters. Make sure you have a large house (5x your level or higher at ALL times!!!) You will need this for events and for fighting.
Events. As I said earlier, I am currently going for this achievement and I have yet to do the Stage a Musical Production event, and I'm doing JUST fine! If you would like to waste, er, use, your sisters to do this, then go right ahead. But just remember that your characters are linked for this. So, on your primary character, however many times you do the SMP event on this one, your OTHER characters' requirements will ALSO go up! If you've got a ridiculously large house and have sisters to spare for this, then by all means, have at it. But if not, do the costume party event a lot (it's the next best event) as well as the Accessory Sale at the Mall. Also, get as many masteries as you can!!! They give you skill points that you can use for stamina, energy, confidence and charm while you're getting this achievement.
Fighting. If you choose to alternate energy/charm & 1 stamina each level up, then you obviously will be fighting some as well. Attack houses smaller than your own! Since you're not going to be putting much into charm (just a few here and there), I recommend attacking the little houses because you'll have a better chance of winning the fight if you do. Since you're going to have A LOT of stamina, you'll find that if you attack small houses, you'll run out of stamina right about the time you go to the spa!
If you find that you're going to the spa sooner than you run out of stamina, add a point or two to confidence. While doing this achievement, I have found that I am spending a lot of money in the spa, but it helps me fight more, so I don't mind. Just buy cheap glam (but still have 1 of each for every sister 5x your level) and you shouldn't have any problems with losing fights.
Alternate between fighting and doing events (or just doing events) until you get your 50 stamina. Once you're done, I suggest closing this character and never using it again. It's not a strong character (because you will have NO popularity skill points) and is mainly good for one thing and that's getting this achievement. Its stats will most likely suck and you will lose a lot of fights when you are attacked.
The good news is, however, that the brownie points you earn on this character can be used by your other characters on the same account!
There are brownie points for 200, 400, 800 and 2,000 confidence.
If you want to go for those achievements, then here is the guide to doing that.
Create a character for NOTHING ELSE other than leveling up to put points into confidence. Your stats are going to suck on this character and you will get depressed A LOT (meaning that you will lose influence points each time you get depressed, making it take even LONGER to get it) until your confidence gets pretty high. After a while, even when you lose, you won't get depressed because your confidence will be so high, but in the beginning, you'll get attacked and depressed A LOT if you don't have a large house. But if you want to do it, then here's a guide:
Character Type.
Choose Diva. Divas gain energy 10% faster. They should gain confidence 10% quicker, but they don't. For this purpose, you want to gain energy quicker so that you can level up quicker. Energy is what's going to help you do that (by completing events).
Skill Points.
Put 1 point into energy and 2 points into confidence each level up. The energy is to help you level up quicker. If you simply put all of your points into confidence, then you won't have much energy to do events, and you won't be able to fight because you won't have any charm points. If you want to do 1 energy every other level up, that would work too. Put one point into energy each level up so that you can at least organize events to level up.
Sisters.
You should have at least 1,000 sisters in your house that you have NOT already used for the Stage a Musical Production or Ultimate Spring Break events. You're going to want to do the Stage a Musical Production event A LOT to level up quickly to get these awards. The sisters requirement for this event goes up each time you do it, but it's the quickest way to gain money and influence in the early levels. So, if for instance, the requirement for the Stage a Musical Production event in your house is 400 sisters, you will need a minimum of 1,400 sisters to be able to get this achievement.
Glam.
Buy popularity items ONLY. This is not an attacker. If you attack people, you're most likely going to lose (because you're not putting any points into charm). You're also not putting any points into popularity, so high popularity glam items are EXTREMELY important. This will help you not get depressed so many times.
Events
Do all of the masteries that give you extra skill points and put them ALL into confidence. Also do the Stage a Musical Production event as much as possible to get as many influence points as possible to level up quickly.
It will probably take A LONG time to do this (probably a month and a half), but you should reach 2000 confidence by level 75 or so with this method. When you are done, save that character and never play with it again.
You can't delete it, but luckily in Sorority Life, you can have up to 10 characters. Let that one just be dead weight.
If you try to use it for anything other than for getting this achievement, then your stats are going to suck and you're going to keep losing all of your fights!
The good news is, however, your other characters can use the brownie points that you earn on this useless character!
Hard to Get Achievements- 50 Stamina
Going for the 50 Stamina Achievement
The platinum achievement for stamina is 50. If you have read on this forum a lot, then you know that I don't recommend getting more than 10-12 stamina, even if you're an attacker (and organizers should have 3. Period). But, there are achievements for higher stamina, and since we all love those brownie points and will do just about anything to get them, I have created a guide for getting the 50 stamina achievement. I suggest using this character for nothing else other than getting this achievement, since this character won't be good for much else, since it's not going to have ANY popularity.
Character Type.
To get this achievement, I would choose Diva. Divas gain energy 10% quicker. They're SUPPOSED to gain confidence 10% quicker, but they don't. You're probably going to find yourself doing a lot of events, and since divas gain energy quicker, that COULD help you level up faster to get this achievement as quickly as you can.
Skill Points.
Stamina points take 2 skill points each level up. So, no matter what you do, you're only going to be able to get ONE stamina per level up. What you do with that other skill point is up to you, but here's my recommendation. Each level up, do 1 stamina. Then, with the other skill point, follow this strategy:
- First time: One energy - Next time: One charm - Next time: Save and do 2 stamina the next time.
If you are doing events, you will also be getting extra skill points for the masteries. Use those skill points wisely! I am currently getting this achievement by saving each skill point I get from mastery and putting it towards stamina next time I level up. I am currently a level 16 with 24 stamina! Leveling up from fighting ONLY takes a LONG time. So, I recommend switching it up a bit. I am also putting a point or two into confidence every once in a while because with that much stamina, I go through my confidence pretty quickly, and I'm spending most of my money in the spa. So, put a couple points into confidence as well from time to time.
Banking:
Banking Vs. Not Banking:
When you bank, you lose 10% of your money, you lose more money in the long run that way than you do in fights, but if you bank it your money can't be taken in fights.If you don't bank your money, you risk the chance of losing in fights if you are attacked and lose.
Tips:
If you're going to be away for a long time and you won't have the opportunity to bank your money
1.Give your information to someone else who you trust, even if you change your password to a generic one like “APPLES04” or something like that and then change it back to your original password when you're done. Just tell the person they are strictly to check your Applications, accept friends requests, and bank your money. They aren't to do anything else.
2.Instead of banking, buy glam items HIGH in Popularity Values. Stocking up on high popularity items helps you out in the long run while you're away and gives you a better chance to win fights, rather than lose them (and money) when you are attacked and can't access a computer. The benefit of that, if you are ever short a few dollars for a new job, sell off some lower glam items that you don't need (but you bought to save that 10% banking fee) and get money in return.
3.Create a secondary Character. This way you can switch your higher character to a lower level (like 1 or 2) with no job, no glam, no nothing...you will lose fights if you're attacked, But, you won't lose the money you have sitting outside of the bank on your higher level character.
A Break Down of Why You Do Not Need Limited Edition Glam to Be a Successful Player:
I have found that players do not understand that the use of Limited Edition (Brownie Point) Glam is not necessary for a successful game play.
Svenario
Player 1 is defending against attack by player 2
Player 1: Level 100 with 500 Sisters
500 Chocolate Leather Ankle Boots (Available for purchase at Level 42) 14 Popularity = 7,000 Popularity Points 500 Rhinestone Vest & Skinny Jeans (Available for purchase at Level 47) 14 Popularity = 7,000 Popularity Points 500 Stretch Hummer Limos (Available for purchase at Level 15) 12 Popularity = 6,000 Popularity Points
Total Popularity Points in Glam = 20,000
Player 2: Level 100 With 500 Sisters <~~I have NEVER seen a Player with all Limited Edition items. I am just doing this as an example of the MOST extreme scenario I can come up with!
Now, you might be saying “Spicy, can’t you clearly see how BIG a point spread there is. Girl, has all that gas gone to you head? Just how on earth do I beat someone who has so many Limited Edition Glam items!!! There is nothing in this game that I can BUY that will help me catch up, and that is just not fair.”
This is where the next section of our lesson comes in! Skill Point Placement…
So let’s go back to our conversation
You: “Spicy, can’t you clearly see how BIG a point spread there is?” Me: “Sure I can, but I also know that I can easily make up that 11,500 point difference with 23 Skill Points placed into Popularity!”
You: “What?????????????”
Every Player in this game is given 3 Skill Points per level to do what they choose with and now you can earn them from completing mastery events; how you utilize them is solely up to you! But understand that Skill Points is what really “Makes or Breaks” a player…NOT how many BP items they own.
So, let us go back to the above scenario, except this time we will add in Skill Points!
Huh, just “What the heck do Skill Points do?!?!?!” Skill Points are counted the same way as you count glam, except it is your total placement x 500…In other words it is like SUPER glam!!!
Player 1: Level 100 with 500 Sisters
500 Chocolate Leather Ankle Boots (Available for purchase at Level 42) 14 Popularity = 7,000 Popularity Points 500 Rhinestone Vest & Skinny Jeans (Available for purchase at Level 47) 14 Popularity = 7,000 Popularity Points 500 Stretch Hummer Limos (Available for purchase at Level 15) 12 Popularity = 6,000 Popularity Points
So how do you collect those darn Bounties?!
1. You have to be FAST.
Hey there quick draw! Looks like you got yourself a bounty! That is right, ‘Bounty Hunting’ or sitting and pressing the ‘Burnlist’ tab in the Fight section and waiting for a little blue button to pop up…you really gotta want that bounty.
You have to get your cursor from the ‘Burnlist’ tab to the blue button before everyone else that is waiting for that bounty, just like you. Then, you have to FIGHT! Okay, I am being dramatic.
2. You have to Catch the Elusive Blue Button
I don’t have tips on this. I just stare really hard at the screen, press the button over and over and hope I don’t refresh the button away before my mouse hits it. Then, I hope I don’t get the :
‘So and So has already been taken care of. *wink*’
Like that *wink* makes me feel better about missing it. Good luck girls. We’re all in the same boat on this one.
2. You have to FIGHT
Alright. So let’s say you catch the blue ‘Attack’ button and you actually fight the person put on the BurnList. This is where your glam and your sisters really have to work for you.
Your glam is matched against their glam.
Your House against their house.
It all comes down to who has the most glam and the best glam.
That’s the name of the game, after all right?
3. If you are the one to give the final PUNCH in the fight, you collect the BOUNTY!
You will know immediately because you will see this little stream of yellow letters that say ‘You have terminally depressed SO and SO, You have collected a BAJILLION dollars in Bounty.’
Congratulations. You may now do a little dance and go back to searching for the elusive blue button again.
