    Mark Millar wil Superman trilogie

    Enige tijd geleden werd al bekend dat Mark Millar (Wanted) interesse heeft in het schrijven van een script voor een volgende Superman film. Hij sprak zelfs over een Superman Trilogy. Onlangs gaf hij meer prijs over zijn plannen.

    Mark Millar: "I want to start on Krypton, a thousand years ago, and end with Superman alone on Planet Earth, the last being left on the planet, as the yellow sun turns red and starts to supernova, and he loses his powers."

    Als Mark Millar zijn ideeën worden doorgezet, dan krijgen we dus een Superman trilogie welke het gehele leven van Kal-El bevat. Elk jaar moet er een nieuw deel verschijnen. In totaal zou de trilogie 8 uur (dat is ruim 2,5 uur per film) moeten gaan duren.

    Millar: "It's gonna be like Michael Corleone in the Godfather films, the entire story from beginning to end, you see where he starts, how he becomes who he becomes, and where that takes him."

    Eerder werd er al gesproken over een Superman reboot. Regisseur Bryan Singer van Superman Returns (2006) lijkt de beste papieren te hebben voor de regie. De titel voor een 2011 release staat op de IMDb nog steeds op Superman: Man of Steel.
