The Carnforth Town Crier Competition.

The event is to be hosted by Frank Barton who is the Carnforth Town Crier.
The event will start with a parade around the town led by the Lancashire life Morecambe Band, The Mayor, Town Councillors, members of the chamber of trade and Town Criers & escorts from around the country.
The competitors will be coming from as far as Devon, Wiltshire & Hertfordshire and will be judged on two catagories plus a competition for the best dressed Crier & the best dressed Escort.
Event runs from 11am. – 4pm. at the War Memorial Gardens on Market Street in Carnforth.
