It is with heavy heart that I have to report that Ron Fryer passed away in his sleep sometime over night.
The funeral is been held in Turangi at 11am today Monday 28th Feb.
Can you please notify appropriate Guilds so that condolence messages may be forwarded to Irene via Caroline Robinson, President of the Ancient and Honourable Guild of New Zealand Town Criers.

Many will remember Ron and Irene from previous World Championship attendances where he previously represented Howick and Waipu, Auckland.
Ron currently was the Town Crier for Turangi
with Taupo looking to utilise his services too !
Ron will be deeply missed.
