The A.H. Guild are sad to announce the death of David Taylor,
town crier of Leominster after a long fight with cancer.
A full civic funeral was held on Friday 17th September at Leominster Priory at 12:00. Criers and escorts attended in full regalia. There was a “Bells Up” in the church after the Criers Prayer was read.
Our sincere condolences go to DavidÂ’s wife, Julie, and family.

It is with great sadness that the Town Council reports the death of its serving Town Crier , Dave Taylor , after a three year battle with cancer.
He was a much-loved and highly respected friend to us all, who has given so much of himself to our own town, not least in his role as a Fire-fighter but also as our popular, fun-loving Town Crier and local character. He promoted Leominster at every opportunity and won several awards for his championship town-crying. The Town will miss him greatly.
Our thoughts are with his wife and family whose loss is immeasurable.
