    Christian Slater op het nippertje in Lars von Triers 'Nymphomaniac'Hoewel de cast in augustus al rond was, is Christian Slater op de valreep toegevoegd aan Lars von Triers seksfilm Nymphomaniac. De acteur speelt de vader van de aan seks verslaafde hoofdpersoon, gespeeld door Charlotte Gainsbourg. Slater zal verder samen gaan werken met acteurs als Shia LaBeouf, Stellan Skarsgård en Jamie Bell.

    De film gaat over Joe (Gainsbourg), een zelf-gediagnoseerde nympfomaan. Skarsgard speelt Seligman, een oude, charmante vrijgezel, die Joe in elkaar geslagen in een steegje vindt. Hij neemt haar naar huis, om voor haar te zorgen, en Joe vertelt hem het verhaal van haar erotische leven, van geboorte tot haar vijftigste levensjaar.

    Von Trier zal de film als een tweedelige feature opnemen en wil de films in 2013 uitbrengen. Eentje daarvan zal hardcore zijn en eentje softcore.
