Svetlana Khodchenkova wordt Viper in The Wolverine Niet actrice Jessica Biel (Total Recall, 2012 en Blade: Trinity, 2004) maar Sventlana Khodchenkova gaat hoogstwaarschijnlijk het personage Viper spelen in James Mangolds The Wolverine, die in de zomer van 2013 moet gaan verschijnen.

De Russische Khodchenkova is met name bekend van haar rol als spion in Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy (2011). Ze sluit zich aan bij de eerder gecaste hoofdrolspelers Hugh Jackman (titelheld Wolverine) en Will Yun Lee (villain Silver Samurai).

The Wolverine, gebaseerd op de Marvel comic van Chris Claremont en Frank Miller, staat gepland voor eind juli 2013.
