Het Vragenuurtje (plenaire vergadering). â The Question Hour (plenary meeting).
Wat is de plenaire vergadering? Ook wel voltallige vergadering genoemd, plenair komt van het Latijnse plenum wat vol betekent. Dit is een vergadering waar alle leden aanwezig MOGEN zijn. Dit vind ik een tegenstelling! Voltallig en aanwezig mogen zijn? Als je de leden niet verplicht van allemaal aanwezig te zijn dan ga je waarschijnlijk nooit volledig zijn! En als niet iedereen aanwezig is kan je het toch niet vol noemen? En dit merken we bij ons in België héél goed. In andere instellingen kan je natuurlijk ook plenaire vergaderingen hebben, maar ik wil het hier hebben over de plenaire vergadering van de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers.
In plenaire vergadering worden de wetsontwerpen, wetsvoorstellen, voorstellen van resolutie, aanbevelingen en andere teksten besproken nadat ze in de bevoegde commissies werden behandeld en nadien worden ze gestemd. In de plenaire vergadering zit een deel dat men het vragenuurtje noemt.
Wat is het vragenuurtje? Dit is een deel (één vaste dag in de week, bijvoorbeeld Vlaams Parlement doet het vragenuurtje op woensdag, de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers doet dit op donderdag) van de plenaire vergadering waar de leden mondelinge vragen kunnen stellen aan leden van de regering.
Nu, de plenaire vergadering en dus ook het vragenuurtje worden geleid door de voorzitter van de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers. Ik zal eerst hierover iets zeggen. Ik vind het niet kunnen dat de voorzitter van de Kamer gebonden is aan een politieke partij, en hij is dan meestal ook nog lid van een partij die de regering vormt, waardoor de regering als het ware de vrije hand heeft! En dat hebben ze sowieso al vermits de meerderheid van het parlement behoort tot de politieke partijen die de regering vormen. Ik vind dus dat de voorzitter van de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers (trouwens ook die van bijvoorbeeld het Vlaamse Parlement) niet tot een politieke partij mag behoren. Dat men bijvoorbeeld een rechter, of een hoogleraar of dergelijke (als deze maar de wet kent) neemt. Ik denk niet dat het een probleem zal zijn om hiervoor geïnteresseerden te vinden, wie zou niet het salaris van de voorzitter van de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers willen krijgen? Ik spreek hier over minstens 15000 euro per maand! Schandalig veel dus. Dit is dan ook mijn eerste punt: DE VOORZITTER VAN DE KAMER VAN VOLKSVERTEGENWOORDIGERS (en de Parlementen) MAG NIET POLITIEK GEBONDEN ZIJN EN MOET NEUTRAAL ZIJN!
Nu, de kamerleden moeten hun vragen op voorhand schriftelijk indienen bij de Kamervoorzitter, deze zal dan de over ontvankelijkheid oordelen. De vragen moeten actueel en van algemeen belang zijn. Nu, hier heb je dus opnieuw het probleem dat diegene die oordeelt of een vraag wel of niet gesteld mag worden behoort tot de politieke partijen die de regering gevormd hebben. Hier is nooit sprake van neutraliteit en ik vind dat dit een vereiste is voor een Kamervoorzitter!
Maar ik vind persoonlijk dat hier nog een probleem is. De vragen moeten op voorhand ingediend worden! Nu, het is logisch dat er op voorhand geweten moet zijn welke vragen er zijn. Maar de regering krijgt deze vragen ook. En zodoende word het feitelijk een toneelstukje, een voorbereide opvoering voor de camera, zeg maar een show om indruk te maken op de kijker. En wat brengt dit op? Eigenlijk niet veel hé, als je eerlijk bent. Dan kan men dit toch beter schriftelijk afhandelen. En dat is mijn tweede punt: ALS EEN VOLKSVERTEGENWOORDIGER EEN VRAAG HEEFT VOOR EEN LID VAN DE REGERING, DAN DIENT HIJ DEZE SCHRIFTELIJK AAN DE KAMERVOORZITTER (DIE NEUTRAAL IS) TE BEZORGEN, DIE DAN OORDEELT OVER DE ONTVANKELIJKHEID EN INDIEN DIT ZO IS DE GESCHREVEN VRAAG AAN HET BETREFFENDE REGERINGSLID BEZORGT, DIE DAN VERPLICHT IS OM BINNEN EEN BEPAALD AANTAL DAGEN DUIDELIJK TE ANTWOORDEN!
En als de heren dan nog steeds een showtje willen opvoeren voor de kiezers, dan moeten ze dat maar op hun site zetten, antwoord en vraag!
Ik ben van mening dat er al genoeg soaps, series, shows en zelfs reality-programmas op televisie zijn en als ik toneel wil zien, ga ik naar een opvoering. Ik hoef echt geen nepopvoering van acteurs die niet kunnen acteren. En ik vermoed wel dat veel Belgen dit denken. Men kan, als men dan toch de Belg wil laten meekijken, het best de debatten uitzenden, vergaderingen en dergelijke uitzenden uit de Kamer (of het Parlement) waar de Belg duidelijk kan zien dat er resultaten geboekt worden. En dit is mijn derde punt: LAAT DE BELG MEEKIJKEN TIJDENS DEBATTEN, COMMISSIES, VERGADERINGEN, EN WAAROM ZELFS NIET AF EN TOE EEN MINISTERRAAD!
Maar dan niet bijvoorbeeld bijvoorbeeld een uitzending van een commissie en pas zes maanden later opnieuw een uitzending van die commissie, dat kan natuurlijk voorvallen, maar niet als het over een belangrijk thema gaat, zoals nu bijvoorbeeld bij de crisis. Zorg dat de Belgen kunnen blijven volgen. Ik vind dat de Belg het recht heeft om te weten, te zien en te horen wat onze vertegenwoordigers en dus ook de regering doen!
Wat is feitelijk de taak van een Kamervoorzitter? Hij vertegenwoordigt de Kamer (het woord zegt het zelf natuurlijk) als instelling. Hij is de woordvoerder van de Kamer en bepaalt de werkzaamheden. Hij handhaaft de orde tijdens vergaderingen. Het is de taak van de Kamervoorzitter om de belangen van de parlementsleden te verdedigen ten opzichte van de regering en niet de regering te beschermen of te helpen tegen de parlementsleden!
Terug naar het vragenuurtje nu. Je hoort al vaak klagen dat dit te lang duurt. Nu, als men toch wil doorgaan met het vragenuurtje, dan moet er iets helemaal veranderen vind ik. Het is zo dat ook volksvertegenwoordigers van de meerderheid (dus deze die behoren tot de politieke partijen die de regering vormen) ook vragen kunnen stellen. Maar wat merken we? Dat de vragen die zij stellen voor meer dan 90% niets te maken hebben met een vraag van algemeen belang. De vragen die gesteld worden door de meerderheid zijn vragen waarvan het lijkt dat ze gesteld worden om tegengewicht te geven aan de vragen van de oppositie. Vragen die gesteld worden om een goed beeld van de betreffende minister te geven, vragen die gesteld worden om de betreffende minister te kunnen feliciteren, te kunnen ondersteunen, te kunnen bestoefen, Zoals ik al zei, een showtje dat opgevoerd word. Trouwens, als de betreffende minister effectief goed werk levert, dan kan hij zichzelf wel verkopen met zijn antwoord, als de betreffende minister effectief zo goed is dan heeft hij géén hulp nodig van partij- of regeringsgenoten! Als men nu toch het vragenuurtje wilt behouden, dat men dan enkel vragen van de oppositie toestaat! Dan zal het vragenuurtje niet meer te lang duren. Of enkel 'echte vragen' van de leden van de meerderheid toestaan, beslist door een neutrale voorzitter.
En ik weet wel, ook de volksvertegenwoordigers van de meerderheid hebben dezelfde rechten als volksvertegenwoordigers van de oppositie. Ik pleit dus ook voor de afschaffing van het uurtje show en geef gewoon mijn mening over wat men zou kunnen doen als men het vragenuurtje niet wil afschaffen, en hierbij houd ik rekening met de inhoud van de vragen, de reden waarom een vraag gesteld word. En als volksvertegenwoordigers van de meerderheid hun partijgenoten in de regering of andere leden van de regering willen bestoefen, willen loven en eren, dan hebben zij daar het internet en de media voor, dat hoeft niet in Kamer of Parlement te gebeuren. Regeringsleden moeten met hun antwoorden en daden maar zorgen dat ze zichzelf in een positief daglicht plaatsen!
Heel dat vragenuurtje is gewoon een spel, een show van de regering in de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers. Je ziet op televisie duidelijk hoe zij lachen met de volksvertegenwoordigers die in de oppositie zitten, soms is het zelfs gewoonweg uitlachen! En dit hoort niet op dat niveau! En de Kamervoorzitter laat dit gewoon toe, ah ja, want hij behoort tot de politieke partij van dat regeringslid, of tot de politieke partij die samen met de partij van dat regeringslid de regering gevormd heeft.
Wat ik dan nog het ergste vind is dat er toegestaan word dat de regering zelf mag beslissen wie op de vraag antwoord. Dus de Volksvertegenwoordigers moeten op voorhand schriftelijk hun vraag die ze mondeling willen stellen aan een bepaald regeringslid aan de Kamervoorzitter bezorgen. Deze bezorgt deze vraag dan aan de regering en die regering kan dan zelf beslissen of het bepaald regeringslid waaraan de vraag gesteld is zelf antwoord, of dat een ander lid van de regering deze vraag zal beantwoorden. Dit hoort toch gewoonweg niet! En de Kamervoorzitter staat dit toe, en ik legde eerder al uit waarom. Een farce is het!
Zoals wel al duidelijk is, mag van mij het vragenuurtje afgeschaft worden, ik zie er echt het nut niet van in. Men kan dit toch beter en simpel schriftelijk afhandelen. En het hoeft al zeker niet op de televisie uitgezonden te worden, op televisie hoort géén toneel waarin alleen slechte toneelspelers mee doen. Er zijn trouwens al genoeg reality-programmas, komedies, soaps en dergelijke op televisie. Wat gezien hoort te worden op de televisie zijn de debatten, de commissies en zelfs de ministerraad! Zodat de inwoners van België kunnen zien dat er gewerkt word, hoe er gewerkt word en waar men mee bezig is in regering en Parlement.
Simpel op te lossen? Inderdaad! De Volksvertegenwoordigers, van meerderheid en oppositie, die vragen hebben, bezorgen deze vragen schriftelijk en duidelijk aan de neutrale, niet politiek gebonden voorzitter van de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers. Deze Kamervoorzitter zal dan beslissen of het actuele vragen van algemeen belang zijn en of het nuttige vragen zijn. Indien dit zo is zal hij de vraag bezorgen aan de betreffende minister die dan verplicht is om deze vraag schriftelijk te beantwoorden binnen bijvoorbeeld 7 dagen. Het antwoord word bezorgd aan de vraagsteller, maar ook aan de Kamervoorzitter. En indien de vraagsteller of de betreffende minister deze vraag en antwoord zo belangrijk vind, dan moet hij deze maar op zijn site, op de site van de politieke partij plaatsen. Men kan ook bijvoorbeeld alle vragen en antwoorden op de site van de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers plaatsen. Indien de Kamervoorzitter vele vragen over hetzelfde onderwerp krijgt, kan hij alsnog beslissen om een Actualiteitsdebat te organiseren hierover.
What is the plenary meeting? Also named full meeting, plenary comes from the Latin plenum and it means full, filled out. This is a meeting where all members MAY be present. I find this a contradiction! Full and may be present? If one doesnt oblige the members to be present then the meeting will never be full! And if everyone isnt present then one cant name it full? And we notice this very well in Belgium. Its possible to have plenary meetings in other institutions, but I want to talk about the plenary meeting of the Chamber of Representatives.
In the plenary meeting the proposed law, bills, proposition of resolutions, recommendations and other documents are discussed after they are treated in the authorized committee and afterwards they are voted. In the plenary meeting there is a part one names question hour.
What is the question hour? This is a part (one fixed day in the week, for instance the Flemish Parliament has the question hour on Wednesday, the Chamber of Representatives has it on Thursday) of the plenary meeting in which the Representatives can ask oral questions at the members of the government.
Now, the plenary meeting and thus also the question hour are led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Representatives. Firstly I want to say something about this. According to me the Chairman may never be committed to a political party, and most of the times hes a member of a political party that is part of the government, and so the government can do what they want! And they have this anyhow since the majority of the Parliament (Representatives) is part of the political parties that formed the government. I find that the Chairman of the Chamber of Representatives (besides also the one of for instance the Flemish Parliament) may not belong to a political party. He can be for instance a judge, or a professor or such (they have to know the law). I dont think that it would be a problem to find candidates for this job, who doesnt want to earn the salary of the Chairman of the Chamber of Representatives? Im talking about at least 15000 Euros each month! Its so much that its scandalous. This is my first statement: THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CHAMBER OF REPRESENTATIVES (and those of the Parliaments) MAY NOT BE COMMITTED TO A POLITICAL PARTY AND HAS TO BE NEUTRAL!
Now, the members of Parliament have to submit their questions beforehand in writing at the Chairman of the Chamber, hell judge on the susceptibility. The question has to be actual and of general interest. Now, here again there is the problem that the one who judges if a question can or cant be asked is a member of the political parties that formed the government. You cant say that this is neutral and according to me that this should be a requirement! But personally I think there is another problem. The questions must be submitted beforehand! Now, its logical that the Chairman knows which questions there are beforehand. But the government gets those questions too beforehand. And thus it actually becomes a stage play, a prepared performance for the camera, one can say a show to make a favourable impression on the viewer. And this serves to? Actually if your honest youll have to say not much. Its better to do this in writing. And this is my second statement: WHEN A REPRESENTATIVE HAS A QUESTION FOR A MEMBER OF THE GOVERNMENT, THEN HE/SHE SUBMITS THIS QUESTION IN WRITTEN AT THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CHAMBER (HE SHOULD BE NEUTRAL), HE/SHELL JUDGE THE SUSCEPTIBILITY AND IF HE/SHE ACCEPTS THE QUESTION HE/SHE PASSES THIS WRITTEN QUESTION TO THE CONCERNING MEMBER OF THE GOVERNMENT, THIS ONE IS OBLIGED TO ANSWER (CLAIRIFYING) WITHIN A DETERMINED PERIOD!
And when they still want to perform a show on stage for the Belgian people, then they have to do this on their homepages, they can post their question and/or answer!
Its my opinion that there are already enough soaps, series, shows and even reality-programs on television and as I want to see theatre I go to a performance. I really dont need a fake performance of actors who cant act. And I suspect a lot of Belgians think this way. One can, if one wants that the Belgian people watch, better broadcast debates, meetings and such in the Chamber (or the Parliament) where the Belgian clearly can see that results are booked. And this is my third statement: LET THE BELGIAN PEOPLE WATCH DURING DEBATES, COMMITTEES, MEETINGS, AND EVEN THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS!
But not for instance today a broadcast of a committee and after 6 months another broadcast of that committee, it can happen, but not if the committee works on an important subject, like for instance the crisis now. Make sure that the Belgian people can follow the debate and what is done. According to me the Belgian people have the right to know, to see and to hear what our Representatives and thus also the government do!
What is the task of a Chairman of the Chamber? He represents the Chamber (the words say it themselves of course) as an institution. He is the spokesman of the Chamber and schedules the activities. He maintains order during meetings. Its the task of the Chairman of the Chamber to defend the issues of the members of Parliament and this with regard to the government. And its not to protect or to help the government with regard to the Parliament!
Back to the question hour. Often you hear complains that its too long. Now, if one really wants to keep the question hour then one has to change something completely. The Representatives of the majority (thus these that are member of the political parties that formed the government) also can ask questions. But what do we notice? That the question that they ask, for more than 90%, isnt a question of general interest. The questions asked by the members of the majority are questions where you feel that they are asked to have counter-pressure against the questions of the opposition. Questions asked to make it possible that the concerning member of the government makes a good impression, questions asked to pat the member of government on the back, to support him/her, to flatter, As I already said, the performance of a show. Besides, if the concerning member of the government effectively did good work, then he/she can sell himself/herself with his/her answer, if the concerning member of the government is so good then he doesnt need help from party-members or from members of his government! And if one wants to keep the question hour, then one should only accept questions of the opposition! Then the question hour want take this long. Or only the 'real questions' from the members of the majority, decided by a neutral chairman!
And I know, the Representatives of the majority have the same rights as those of the opposition. But I plead for the cancellation of the show-hour and just give my opinion about what could be done if one wants to keep this question hour. And while doing this I take into account the questions itself and the reason why a question is asked. And when Representatives of the majority want to flatter or support their party-members in the government then they can do this on Internet or through the media. That shouldnt be done in the Chamber or Parliament. Members of the government should be able to talk big in their answers and deeds!
The complete question hour is just a game, a show of the government in the Chamber of Representatives. One can see on television clearly how they laugh with the Representatives from the opposition, sometimes they even downright make fun of them. And this doesnt belong on that level! And the Chairman of the Chamber permits this, oh yes, he belongs to the political parties that formed the government or even to the political party of the member of the government that laughs at the Representatives.
What I find most awful is that the government is allowed to decide who will answer a question. So the Representatives have to submit their question for a particular member of the government (written) beforehand at the Chairman. He gives the question at the government and they can decide if the particular member of the government itself answers the question or if another member of the government will answer the question. This isnt serious! And the Chairman allows this, and I already said why. Its a farce!
It will be clear now that according to me the question hour can be discharged, I dont see the purpose of it. One can handle this (questions) better in writing. And it certainly shouldnt be broadcasted, theatre doesnt belong on television and certainly no theatre with actors that cant play. Besides there are more than enough reality-shows, comedies, soaps and such on television. What should be seen on television are the debates, the committees and even the council of ministers! So that the people of Belgium can see that they are working, how they are working and what they are doing in the government and the Parliament.
A simple solution? Indeed! The Representatives, majority and opposition, that have questions, submit these written and understandable at the (neutral and not belonging to a political party) Chairman of the Chamber of Representatives. This Chairman will decide if the question is actual and of general interest and if it is useful. When this is the fact he will pass this question at the concerning member of the government who is obliged to respond (also written) within 7 days. The answer will be given at the questioner but also at the Chairman. And if the questioner or the concerning member of the government finds this question or answer this important, then he can place it on his homepage or on the homepage of the political party. One also can place all questions and answers on the site of the Chamber of Representatives. When the Chairman of the Chamber gets many questions about the same subject he still can decide to organize an urgent debate about this subject.

Eerst en vooral wil ik Sporza bedanken dat ze dit weekend het tennis en het volledige veldrijden live uitzonden. Ik heb de juniores niet volledig kunnen zien omdat de finale vrouwen tennis (Australian Open) nog bezig was, en vermits ik fan ben van Henin ben ik blijven kijken en heb ik tijdens de rustperiodes gezapt. En na het tennis keek ik naar de herhaling van het WK voor junioren op Sporza.
Gianni Vermeersch begon heel goed aan de race, hij ging alleen in de aanval en direct in het begin van het volledige WK zien we een Belg vooruit rijden, zeer hoopvol! Maar dit blijft niet duren. Ik denk dat op het moment dat Vermeersch voorop rijd, Van der Poel zich begint dood te rijden, en nadien blijft hij dit doen achter de Tsjech. En ik vermoed dat hij daardoor nadien niet meer mee kon doen voor de titel, hij werd pas achtste.
Vermeersch eindigt 5e op 20 seconden van de winnaar, ik vind dit geen slecht resultaat, maar misschien had er wat meer in gezeten als hij niet zo snel in de aanval was gegaan, maar dat zullen we nooit weten natuurlijk. En er waren wat foutjes in de laatste ronde (misschien wel vermoeidheid?) die er voor zorgden dat hij het podium niet haalde (spijtig). Trouwens, de Tsjech wint volgens mij verdient, want hij reed de hele tweede helft van de koers op kop.
Wat het parcours betreft, het is op het lijf geschreven van Stybar, maar ook voor Nijs is het een goed parcours. En ik ben dan wel voor de Belgen natuurlijk, ook voor Nijs, ook al ben ik helemaal geen fan van hem (dit komt trouwens door het WK in Sint-Michiels-Gestel in 2000)! En als ik moet kiezen tussen de Belgen dan staat Nijs het laatst.
Mijn favoriet: Tom Meeusen (Bel) Vermoedde winnaar: Tom Meeusen (Bel)
Een indrukwekkend showspel van de Polen! Eerst met twee, en daarna met drie in de aanval, en de topfavoriet Meeusen al vroeg in de achtervolging, en daar bleef het spijtig genoeg ook bij. Twee van de drie Polen, twee broers Pawel en Kasper Szczepaniak, bleven overeind en eindigden 1e en 2e. De derde Pool Konwa werd nog ingehaald door de Fransman Jouffroy en Tom Meeusen. Nog steeds géén medaille voor de Belgen dus.
En toch dient het gezegd te worden dat we tevreden mogen zijn met die 4e en 5e plaats. In de eerste wedstrijd (junioren) vrees ik dat het aan de ervaring lag dat we niet op het podium stonden, en dat kan je ook moeilijk verwachten van junioren. En in de tweede wedstrijd waren de Polen gewoon te sterk, en van de Fransman kan je toch zeggen dat hij ook heel wat klasse heeft.
Wat mij is opgevallen is dat er totnogtoe géén van de topfavorieten gewonnen heeft. Mijn favorieten niet, maar ook niet die van de pers, de kenners, de (ex-)renners,
Het viel me op dat tijdens de wedstrijd zelf het parcours veranderde, van hard, naar modderig, en dan begon het gewoon terug te bevriezen. Dit maakt het alleen maar moeilijker natuurlijk en ik denk dat er maar weinig renners zijn die niet gevallen zijn.

Het parcours was nog bevroren, dus een soort van ijsvlakte. En direct twee Nederlandse vrouwen die voorop rijden, Marianne Vos en Daphny Van den Brand. En dan gaat Vos er alleen van door. Ik vreesde echt dat dit te vroeg was. En Kupfernagel is ook weer van de partij, zij gaat in de achtervolging op Vos. Maar ondanks dat ik verwachtte dat ze te vroeg gegaan was, hield ze het toch vol, ze is gewoon te sterk voor de rest! Knap toch! Haar derde titel al en ze is nog maar 22 jaar.
Kupfernagel wordt tweede en eindigt dus alweer op het podium. Daphny Van den Brand wordt knap 3e.
Sanne Cant werd 15e, spijtig, ik had toch wat meer verwacht. Volgend jaar beter zou ik zeggen. Maar ze had ook wat problemen.
Mijn favoriet: Kevin Pauwels (Bel), Niels Albert (Bel) Vermoedde winnaar: Zdenek Stybar (Tsj) / Niels Albert (Bel)
VOOR: We hebben nog géén medaille op het WK, ook al hadden we er wel één verwacht. Alles hangt dus af van de profs. En vermits vanmorgen de topfavoriet toch gewonnen heeft, zal t zijn aan Nijs en Stybar, die namen worden toch het meest genoemd. Maar vergeten ze Pauwels en Vantornout niet?
De temperatuur hangt rond de 0°C en sommige plaatsen op het parcours beginnen te ontdooien en dit kan voor problemen zorgen wat betreft de bandenkeuze.
De spanning begint te stijgen hier, van mij mag het beginnen! (En het is nog maar iets na één.)
TIJDENS: Eindelijk is het twee uur, en ieder supporter kent dat gevoel wel, dat gevoel van binnen!
Stybar trok in de eerste ronde al door maar Vantornout countert super. Vantornout neemt zelfs de kop. Maar Stybar leek wel lek. En wat een leuk gevoel als Pauwels terug naar voor aan het komen is!
Toch heb ik na een paar ronden het gevoel dat het niet voor dit jaar zal zijn, hoe dat komt, ik weet het niet, misschien een voorgevoel, hopelijk een fout voorgevoel natuurlijk.
Na vier ronden is Stybar er weer vandoor, hij heeft dan zelfs 18 seconden voorsprong. De enige twee Belgen die lijken mee te doen op dat moment zijn Nijs en Vantornout. Wellens probeert naar voren te komen, van Albert is geen sprake en Pauwels is verdwenen na een valpartij bij de balkjes. Stybar domineert en het is wel duidelijk dat we moeten hopen dat Nijs zijn duivels nog kan ontbinden.
Maar Nijs valt te veel en het blijkt dat Vantornout de beste Belg is. En zoals ik al zei, velen vergeten hem, hij wordt onvoldoende gewaardeerd! Albert heeft ondertussen opgegeven.
Stybar wint, de topfavoriet maakt het waar! Klasse en gewoon te sterk voor de rest. Proficiat! Klaas Vantornout haalt knap het zilver. Knap gedaan jongen! En bedankt. Een groot applaus. Nijs wordt derde.
NADIEN: Ondanks de knappe race van Vantornout, wat voldoende gezegd moet worden, was het toch een anticlimax. Ik had echt meer verwacht.

Firstly I want to thank Sporza (Belgian Sports-channel) because they broadcasted the tennis and the cyclocross live on television. I wasnt able to watch the juniors completely because the final of the tennis (Australian Open women) still wasnt done, and since Im a fan of Henin I kept watching the tennis of course and I zapped when there was a rest-period. Afterwards (after tennis) I watch the rerun of the WC for juniors on Sporza.
Gianni Vermeersch started very well, he attacked and directly in the beginning of the complete WC we see a Belgian in the head of the race, very promising! But this doesnt last. I think that the moment that Vermeersch ran in front that Van der Poel used too much energy, and afterwards he kept doing that to chase the Czech. And I suspect that this is the reason why he couldnt race for the title any longer. He ended on the 8th place. Vermeersch ended 5th, 20 seconds behind the winner. I dont find this a bad result, but maybe it could have been better if he hadnt attacked so soon in the race, but well never know this of course. And there were some mistakes in the last round (maybe tired?) and those prevented him to end on the podium (too bad)!
By the way, the Czech deserved to win, the second part of the race he controlled the race.
Concerning the course, its perfect for Stybar, but also for Nijs. And Im supporting the Belgians of course, also for Nijs, despite the fact that Im not a fan of him (by the way, the reason for this is the WC in Sint-Michiels-Gestel in 2000)! And when I have to choose between the Belgians Nijs would be on the last place.

An impressive show of the Poles! Firstly two of them, and after that a raid with three. And the biggest favourite Meeusen had to chase al the time its a pity that it stayed that way. Two of the three Poles, two brothers Pawel and Kasper Szczepaniak, were able to hold on and ended 1st and 2nd. The third Pole Konwa was caught by the Frenchman Jouffroy and Tom Meeusen. Still no medals for the Belgians.
And it needs to be said, we shouldnt be disappointed with the 5th and later 4th place. In the first race (juniors) I fear that inexperience was the reason that we werent on the podium, and one cant expect this from juniors (to have experience). And in the second race the Poles were too strong and one has to admit that the Frenchman has a lot of talent.
What struck me is that until now none of the favourites won. Not my favourites, and also not the favourites of the media, the connoisseurs, the (ex-)cyclists,
I noticed that during the race the course changed, from hard, to muddy, and that it started to freeze again. This makes the course very hard and I think that there are only a few cyclists that didnt fall.

The course was frozen, so really an ice-field. And immediately two Dutch women are riding in front, Marianne Vos and Daphny Van den Brand. And then its time for Vos, she rides alone at the head of the race. I feared that this was to soon. And Kupfernagel was in on it, she chases Vos.
But despite that I thought that she attacked too soon, she stood firm, she just is too strong for the others! Sublime! Her third title already and shes only 22 years old.
Kupfernagel ends on the second place and again she stands on the podium. Daphny Van den Brand ends third.
Sanne Cant ended 15th, too bad, I expected more. Next year better. But she also had some problems.

BEFORE: We still havent got a medal on this WC, despite the fact that we expected one. All depends on the Belgian elites. And since this morning the favourite won, it will be Nijs and Stybar, those are the ones named by everybody. But did they forget Pauwels and Vantornout?
The temperature is about 0°C and some parts of the course are thawing, this can give troubles concerning the choice of the tires.
The tension is rising, according to me they may start now! (And its just after one oclock.)
DURING: At last, its two oclock, and every fan knows the feeling, the feeling inside!
Stybar attacked already in the first round but Vantornout counters very well. Vantornout even takes the lead. But Stybar had a flat tire. And what a marvellous feeling when Pauwels starts going to the head of the race!
Anyway after a few rounds I had the feeling that it wasnt going to be for this year, I dont know why I had this feeling, hopefully this feeling is wrong.
After 4 rounds Stybar is gone again, he leads with 18 seconds. The only two Belgians that seem to participate are Nijs and Vantornout. Wellens tries to catch up, Albert doesnt exist in this race, Pauwels rides in the back after a fall at the beams. Stybar dominates and we have to hope that Nys still can react with the utmost exertion. But Nijs falls too much and it appears that Vantornout is the best Belgian. And like I said, one often forgets him, hes underestimated! Albert has dropped out.
Stybar wins, the favourite wins! Beautiful and just to strong for the others. Congratulations! Klaas Vantornout ends second and has silver. Beautiful! And thanks! And a big applause! Sven Nijs ended 3rd.
AFTER: Despite the beautiful race of Vantornout its an anti-climax. I expected much more of it.

Serena Williams wint de Australian Open! - Serena Williams wins the Australian Open!
De Australian Open 2010 voor de vrouwen zit er weer op, de finale is achter de rug. Het was de eerste keer dat Justine Henin en Serena Williams elkaar ontmoetten in een finale van een Grand Slam.
En de match begon veelbelovend, de eerste game (Williams had opslag) duurde 8 minuten, Williams won haar eigen opslagspel uiteindelijk toch nog. In de vierde game is de eerste break een feit, en deze is voor Serena Williams. Maar het moet gezegd, wat een slechte arbitrage in deze wedstrijd! In de zevende game kan Henin door de opslag van Williams breken. Maar het lukt Williams toch om de eerste set te winnen. Henin haar opslag moet dringend beter, ze haalt niet eens 50% met haar eerste opslag. De eerste set duurde 51 minuten.
In de tweede set gaat Henin in de derde game door de opslag van Williams, dit nadat ze op haar eigen opslag heel wat problemen had. Maar in de volgende game breekt Williams gewoon terug.
Het spijtige is dat de wedstrijd nog bezig is als de juniores veldrijden aan hun wereldkampioenschap gaan beginnen. Ik heb natuurlijk het tennis doorgekeken, en tijdens de rustperiodes gezapt. Het dient wel gezegd te worden dat ik blij ben eindelijk eens te kunnen melden dat Sporza de sport live uitzendt! Proficiat!
Beiden maken veel fouten, het niveau van de match is niet hoog, maar het blijft spannend. In de zevende game kan Henin de opslag van Williams nog eens breken. Op het einde van de tweede set haalt Justine haar beste tennis boven en wint de set met 6-3. De set duurde 40 minuten. Henin haar 1e opslag is nu 50%, Williams haar opslag is niet veel hoger (58%). Williams had 13 missers, Henin maar 7.
In het begin van de derde set kunnen beide speelsters de opslag van de ander breken. Het niveau dat Henin haalde op het eind van de tweede set is verdwenen. In de vijfde set breekt Williams opnieuw en komt 3-2 voor. En ze wint haar eigen opslag in de volgende game en komt zo zelfs 4-2 voor en door een break zelfs 5-2. En Serena Williams wint dan ook de derde set met 6-2. Henin had de kans om haar 8e Grand Slam te winnen maar lukt daar dus niet in (zeer spijtig), Serena op haar beurt schrijft geschiedenis en wint haar 5e titel op de Australian Open. De set duurde maar 36 minuten, de eerste opslag van beiden in deze set lag niet echt hoog, Serena sloeg 14 winners en Justine maar 6. De hele match duurde 2 uren en 7 minuten.
Henin speelde dit toernooi goed, maar niet altijd op haar best. Maar ik ben er zeker van dat ze nog meer finales zal bereiken dit seizoen en dat ze er zelfs enkele zal winnen. Nu is het wachten op de volgende Grand Slam, het favoriete toernooi van Justine, Rolland Garros.

The Australian Open 2010 for women is passed, the final is over. It was the first time that Justine Henin and Serena Williams met in the finals of a Grand Slam.
And the match started promising, the first game (Williams serve) took 8 minutes, Williams ultimately won her own serve-game. In the 4th game the first break is a fact and it was for Serena Williams. But it has to be said, the referees in this match werent good! In the seventh game Justine breaks through the serve of Williams. But Williams can win the first set. Henin has to improve her serve, she doesnt even reach 50% with her first serve. The first set lasted 51 minutes.
In the second set Henin breaks in the third game, this after she had problems with her own serve in the previous game. But in the next game Williams takes back a break.
Its unfortunate that the match isnt done when the juniors' cyclocross start with their world championship. I kept watching the tennis, but during the rest-periods I zapped. It has to be said that Im very happy that I finally can say that Sporza (Belgian sports-channel) broadcasts the sports live! Congratulations.
Both players are making a lot of mistakes, the level of the match isnt that high, nevertheless it is thrilling. In the seventh game Justine can break through the serve of Williams. In the beginning of the 3rd set both players can break the others serve. The level that Henin obtained in the end of the second set is gone. In the fifth game Williams breaks again and leads 3-2. And she wins her own serve and leads 4-2 and with another break even 5-2. And Serena Williams wins the third set with 6-2. Henin could win her 8th Grand Slam but didnt succeed in it, but Serena writes history and wins her 5th title on the Australian Open. The set lasted 36 minutes, the first serve of both in this set wasnt high, Serena hit 14 winners, Justine only 6. The complete match lasted 2 hours and 7 minutes.
Henin played well this tournament but not always on her best. But Im certain that shell reach some more finals this season and shell even win some of them. Now its waiting for the next Grand Slam, Justines favourite, Roland Garros.

Kaartleggen 2. â Card Reading 2.
Zo, zoals ik voorspeld had komt hier mijn tweede deel over kaartleggen. Ik zou wat dieper ingaan op de manier van kaartleggen en de kaarten.
In de Tarot heb je twee delen, twee Arcanas. De Grote Arcana (22 kaarten) en de Kleine Arcana (56 kaarten). De kleine Arcana is dan weer verdeeld over 4 kleuren (symbolen) (Staven, Pentakels, Zwaarden, Kelken). Arcana komt waarschijnlijk van het Latijn Arcanum dat geheim geneesmiddel, diep geheim betekent.
Nu, je hebt verschillende decks, een van de meest gebruikte is de Waite Tarot. Ook heb je de Crowley Tarot, Alchemical Tarot, Avalon Tarot, Londa Tarot, en nog vele anderen, teveel om op te noemen. Je hebt decks waarbij alle kaarten afbeeldingen voorstellen, maar ook decks waarbij veel kaarten alleen een symbool zijn (Staven, Pentakels, Zwaarden, Kelken).
Nu, de Tarot geeft inzicht in de problemen die zich op het moment van de legging afspelen of problemen die er waren in het verleden. Dit lezen kan iedereen, de toekomst voorspellen NIET!
Voor er met de legging begonnen word dienen enkele dingen toch in orde te zijn, vooral de omgeving moet goed zijn, het moet rustig zijn en je moet je er goed voelen, want het is belangrijk dat je innerlijk tot rust kan komen voor de legging.
Je hebt verschillende manieren van leggen. Je hebt de dagkaart, de maandkaart, het Keltisch kruis, driekaart legging, de Ankh, Partners, de Astrologische Cirkel, de Blinde Vlek, en nog vele andere manieren.
Nu, de kaarten zelf. Ik herhaal nogmaals dat de betekenis van elke kaart afhangt van zijn ligging, van de vraag en zelfs van het gevoel, de beleving en intuïtie van de kaartlegger. Geen enkele kaart is goed of slecht op zichzelf.
Ik zal beginnen met de Grote Arcana. De 22 kaarten van de Grote Arcana vertegenwoordigen feitelijk een mensenleven, met alles wat je in je leven kan tegenkomen, elke levenservaring, elke gemoedsstemming. Met andere woorden stelt de Grote Arcana alle levensmomenten voor van de geboorte tot de dood.

Dan de Kleine Arcana, ik haalde al aan dat deze verdeeld is in vier symbolen. Elke symbool bestaat uit 14 kaarten, dit van de één (aas) tot de tien, dan heb je de Page, de Ridder, de Koninging en de Koning.
- De Staven: het element vuur (Ram, Leeuw, Boogschutter)
Vuur (kort): hartstocht, liefde, impulsen, geest, hoop, wil, enthousiasme, levenslust, moed, durf, onderneming, creativiteit. Deze kaarten hebben te maken met dagelijkse aangelegenheden, met de energie en het enthousiasme waarmee dingen worden gedaan. Staven worden geassocieerd met allerlei vormen van communicatie, reizen en dagelijkse bezigheden.
- De Pentakels (Munten, Pentagrammen): het element Aarde (Stier, Maagd, Steenbok)
Aarde (kort): daden, gebeurtenissen, genieten, kunstenaar, betrouwbaarheid, traagheid, koppig, doorzettingsvermogen, esthetiek, materieel, praktisch, winst, verlies, groei, vooruitgang. Deze kaarten hebben te maken met de materiële wereld, met concrete zaken. Pentakels worden geassocieerd met hulpbronnen, financiën, met verdiensten, uitgaven en besparingen.
- De Zwaarden: het element Lucht (Tweelingen, Weegschaal, Waterman)
Lucht (kort): gedachten, wetenschap, kennis, intellect, plannen, gesprek, discussie, handelsmens, oppervlakkig. Deze kaarten hebben te maken met de geest in de vorm van ideeën, zorgen, met serieuze beslissingen, teleurstellingen en beperkingen. Zwaarden worden geassocieerd met reizen en geestelijke activiteiten.
- De Kelken (Bekers): het element Water (Kreeft, Schorpioen, Waterman)
Water (kort): gevoel, verlangen, emotie, ziel, onbewust, onderbewust, verborgen dingen, overmatig, geloof, verdriet, geluk. Deze kaarten hebben te maken met gevoelens, emoties, vriendschap, gezelschap, collegas en op leef- en werkomstandigheden. Kelken worden geassocieerd met de emotionele reacties op een bepaalde gebeurtenis.
As I predicted comes here the second part about card reading. I would talk some more about the spread of the cards and the cards itself.
In Tarot you have two parts, two Arcanas. The Major Arcana (22 cards) and the Minor Arcana (56 cards). The Minor Arcana is divided in 4 colours (symbols) (Wands, Pentacles, Swords, Cups). Arcana probably comes from Latin Arcanum that means secret medicine, sacred secret.
Now, there are different decks, one that is used most is the Waite Tarot. But you also have the Crowley Tarot, Alchemical Tarot, Avalon Tarot, Londa Tarot, and many others, to many to name them all. There are decks where all cards are images, but there are also decks where many cards are just symbols (Wands, Pentacles, Swords, Cups).
The Tarot gives understanding in the problems one has at the moment of the spreading, or problems that were there in the past. Everyone can learn to understand this, but NOT everyone can foretell the future!
Now, before one starts to spread the cards its important that some things are there, especially the surroundings should be good, it should be quiet, light-spirited and one has to feel good, for it is important that you have spiritual rest.
There are different lay-outs. There is the day-card, the month-card, the Celtic Cross, the three-card spread, the Ankh spread, Partner spread, the Astrological Circle, the Blind Spot, and yet many other lay-outs.
Now, about the cards. I repeat that the meaning of each card depends on its location in the lay-out, it depends on the question that is asked and it even depends of the feeling, the perception and the intuition of the card-reader. No single card is good or bad on itself.
Ill begin with the Major Arcana. The 22 cards of the Major Arcana actually represent a human life, with everything one can meet in its live, each experience of life, each state of mind. With other words, the Major Arcana represents all moments in a life from birth till dead.

Then the Minor Arcana, I already said that this is divided in four symbols. Each symbol consists of 14 cards, this from one (ace) till ten, then there are the Page, the Knight, the Queen and the King.

Fire (short): passion, love, impulses, mind, hope, will, enthousiasm, joy of life, courage, guts, enterprise, creativity. These cards go about daily matters, with energy and enthousiasm with which things are done. Wands are associated with all forms of communication, travel and daily occupations.
- The Pentakels (Coins): the element Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn). Earth (short): acts, events, enjoyment, artist, reliability, inertia, stubborness, perseverance, aesthetics, material, practical, profit, loss, development, progress. These cards go about the material world, with concrete affairs. Pentakels are associated with resources, finances, with wages, expenses and savings.
- The Swords: the element Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius).
Air (short): thoughts, knowledge, intellect, plans, conversation, discussion, businessman, superficially. These cards go about the mind concerning ideas, problems, serious decisions, disappointments and limitations. Swords are associated with travelling and spiritual activities.
- The Cups (Chalices): the element Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). Water (short): feeling, desire, emotions, soul, unaware, unconscious, hidden things, exuberant, belief, sorrow, luck. These cards go about feelings, emotions, friendship, company, colleagues and circumstances of living and work. Cups are associated with the emotional reactions on a particular event.

In het derde spelletje van de eerste set kan Henin al door de opslag breken van Zheng. En ze kan deze break bevestigen in het volgende spelletje, ook al kostte haar dit toch wat moeite. Het vijfde spelletje kan Henin weer door de opslag van Zheng breken en ze bevestigt deze break opnieuw en komt zo 5-1 voor in de eerste set. En het is dus niet verwonderlijk dat ze na 27 minuten de eerste set won met 6-1. Henin sloeg in de eerste set 10 winners, Zheng maar 1.

In de finale moet Justine Henin het opnemen tegen Serena Williams die won tegen haar opponente Na Li in twee sets (7-6 7-6), maar het was niet makkelijk voor haar. Als Henin hetzelfde niveau behaalt als vandaag, dan is er echt wel een kans om de Australian Open te winnen.

Australian Open - Halve finales vrouwen (Semifinals women)
Deze nacht zijn de halve finales van de vrouwen op de Australian Open, met daarin natuurlijk onze Belgische Justine Henin. Zij moet het opnemen (onverwacht) tegen de Chinese Jie Zheng. In de andere halve finale speelt Serena Williams (VSA) het op tegen een andere Chinese, Na Li.

Cercle Brugge â Anderlecht, terugmatch in de Cofidis Cup. - Cercle Bruges â Anderlecht, return in the Cofidis Cup.
Anderlecht moest het gisteravond opnemen tegen Cercle Brugge in de Cofidis Cup (Belgische Beker). Anderlecht had thuis maar met 2-1 gewonnen van Cercle en daardoor zou het nog een hele spannende terugwedstrijd worden.
Je hoorde voor de match al op veel plaatsen (zelfs bij Anderlecht zelf) dat de beker géén prioriteit was voor hen, en dit was ook duidelijk te merken aan de manier van spelen. Maar dat is mijn mening natuurlijk, al moet ik er wel bij zeggen dat Glen De Boeck (ex-Anderlecht speler en nu coach van Cercle) het tactisch slim heeft aangepakt en dat de spelers van Cercle een hele goede match speelden. Je hoort op veel plaatsen dat het veld ook niet echt bespeelbaar was, het veld was keihard (bevroren), maar beide ploegen moesten spelen in dezelfde condities, dus ook Cercle.
Anderlecht speelde ook zonder Biglia, Lukaku begon op de bank, Frutos stond aan de aftrap. Proto stond niet in de goal, maar Schollen. Juhasz was er niet bij, Legear zat op de bank. En ik weet dat er veel zijn die Frutos een topspeler vinden, maar ikzelf vind hem echt niets waard. Oké, hij scoort gemakkelijk als ze hem de bal op een gouden bord geven, maar voor de rest?!? Echt, ik heb er nooit iets in gezien en na gisteren? Het zal ook nooit iets worden denk ik. Echt, hij liep gewoonweg verloren, als hij de bal dan al eens aanraakte (meestal doorkoppen) dan eindigde dit met balverlies Nee, ik snap echt niet dat men hem zo goed vindt.
Na vier minuten kwam Cercle al op voorsprong met een prachtig doelpunt van Bozovic. Een wereldgoal zeg maar, van bijna tegen de achterlijn schiet hij de bal over de doelman van Anderlecht (Schollen) in de verste hoek binnen. Met deze goal heeft Cercle zich geplaatst voor de halve finale en Anderlecht moest er dus echt alles aan doen om dit terug recht te zetten. Maar wat bleek? Cercle had alles goed onder controle, als blok verdedigden zij en kwamen er ook nog eens goed uit. Anderlecht leek gewoonweg niet in staat om daar iets aan te veranderen. Er ging gewoon géén dreiging uit van Anderlecht, het leek zelfs alsof sommige spelers van Anderlecht wel op het veld stonden, maar toch niet aanwezig waren. Desondanks heeft Anderlecht wel het meeste balbezit gehad in de eerste helft.
De 2e helft was iets leuker om te zien, zeker aangezien Lukaku en nadien Legear in het veld gebracht werden, maar Frutos mocht blijven staan en dat snapte ik echt niet. Maar toch kon ik me niet van de indruk ontdoen dat sommige spelers van Anderlecht een rustig avondje voetbal wilden spelen in plaats van een serieuze kwartfinale in de beker van België. De laatste 20 minuten kwam Anderlecht dan toch nog wat opzetten, maar tevergeefs, de stand bleef 0-1, de beste kansen waren voor Cercle, het beste spel kwam van Cercle, de meeste inzet kwam van Cercle en dus gaat Cercle naar de halve finale en niet Anderlecht. Als supporter van Anderlecht vind ik dit echt spijtig, zeker omdat ik weet dat Anderlecht veel beter kan.
Zo, ditmaal heb ik het eerst even over de match gehad en ga ik nadien even schieten.
Eerst en vooral, normaal was er eerst gezegd dat er maar één wedstrijd zou zijn tussen Anderlecht en Cercle Brugge, in Anderlecht. Dit omdat de kalender vol zit (heb ik het al over gehad) en de match van de vorige ronde tussen Zulte Waregem en Cercle Brugge enkele keren moest afgelast worden. Maar hier kwamen (ZEER TERECHT) negatieve reacties op, zeker aangezien het niet kan dat één wedstrijd in de kwartfinale in één match gespeeld zou moeten worden en de andere matchen in twee. Maar iedereen kan nog wel andere redenen aanhalen natuurlijk (supporters, thuisvoordeel, inkomsten, ).
Nu, ik heb al meermaals laten horen dat ik de (Koninklijke Belgische Voetbal Bond (KBVB) onbekwaam vond, en dat is maar weer eens gebleken. Plots kwam men (KBVB) met het bericht dat de wedstrijd tussen Anderlecht en Cercle toch met twee wedstrijden zou doorgaan, hiervoor was de match van Anderlecht tegen Charleroi (met goedkeuring van Charleroi) uitgesteld, zodat Anderlecht zaterdag al tegen Cercle in de beker kon spelen en gisteren zou dan de terugwedstrijd zijn. Dat leek een mooie geste te zijn van Charleroi natuurlijk.
Maar dan kwam het nieuws dat de KBVB toegevingen aan Charleroi had gedaan en zo zijn eigen regels overtrad! Ongelooflijk toch, maar wel echt waar. Van alle kanten kwamen hier natuurlijk negatieve reacties op (terecht). Er werd zelfs om het ontslag van de voorzitter gevraagd, en dit zou een supergoede oplossing zijn, want als je over onbekwaamheid spreekt Dan was er de vergadering bij de KBVB van het bestuur, en je hoorde op voorhand al dat de voorzitter te zeker was dat hij niet ontslagen zou worden, en dat bleek ook na de vergadering. En de toegevingen die gedaan werden aan Charleroi werden ingetrokken.
Kijk, ik vond dat die toegevingen niet konden, het was onvoorstelbaar dat de KBVB deze deed, maar wat al helemaal niet kan is beloftes terug intrekken, een gegeven woord niet houden! Nu is Charleroi de dupe van de onbekwaamheid van de Belgische Voetbal Bond! Eigenlijk zouden alle Belgische Ploegen moeten eisen dat het bestuur van de KBVB ontslag neemt! Geloof me, zet daar een bekwaam bestuur en er zullen minder problemen zijn in competitie en beker en minder problemen bij de Belgische Nationale Ploeg!
En dan is er nog het uitzenden van deze match. Ik ben dolgelukkig dat La Deux (Waalse televisiezender) de wedstrijd live uitzond (ook al versta ik géén Frans), want de Vlaamse televisiezenders deden dit natuurlijk niet, zoals ze zoveel dingen NIET uitzenden de laatste jaren. Een schande vind ik het! Wat heb je op de Vlaamse televisiezenders? Vooral zeik-programmas en duizenden herhalingen, zelfs herhalingen van herhalingen van ! Ook daar mag het bestuur volgens mij dringend ontslag nemen, want de dingen die daar beslist worden houden ook soms géén steek. Dan, de zenders waar de politiek denkt dat ze bekwaam zijn om de leiding te nemen (via ex-politiekers en vriendjes en dergelijke)! De politiekers die het land leiden zijn al niet bekwaam om dit te doen, en ze doen helemaal niet wat het volk wil, ze luisteren niet naar het volk en doen hun eigen ding, ze weten niet eens wat het volk wil En dan denken zij dat zij bekwaam zijn om te beslissen wat het volk wil zien op televisie? Laat me niet lachen!
Anderlecht had to play against Cercle Bruges in the Cofidis Cup (Belgian Cup) last night. Anderlecht won at home (Saturday) with 2-1 and so it would be an exciting return in Bruges.
One could already hear before the match (even from Anderlecht self) that the Cup wasnt a priority for them, and one could see this at the way they played. But thats my opinion of course, but I have to say that Glen De Boeck (ex-Anderlecht player and now coach of Cercle) was very clever tactically and the players of Cercle played a very good match. On many places you hear that the field wasnt playable, that the field was completely frozen (stone-hard), but both teams had to play on that same field, so also Cercle.
Anderlecht played without Biglia, Lukaku had to sit on the bench, Frutos started this match. Proto wasnt the goalkeeper but Schollen. Juhasz didnt play, Legear sat on the bench. And I know that many have the opinion that Frutos is a very good and talented forward, but I myself find that hes not that good. Okay, he scores when his team-mates hand the ball to him on a silver platter, but for the rest?!? Really, I never saw him as a good player, and after tonight? I dont think that I ever will. Really, he just loses his way on the field, when he touches the ball (most of the times heads the ball) then the opponent gets the ball No, I dont understand that people find him that good.
After four minutes Cercle was leading with a beautiful goal of Bozovic. A world-goal! He shoots the ball almost from the by-line over the goalkeeper of Anderlecht (Schollen) in the farthest corner of the goal. With this goal Cercle placed itself for the semi finals and Anderlecht had to do everything to fix this. But what happened? Cercle had everything under control, they defended as a team (in block) and they also could counter. Anderlecht wasnt able to do something about that. Anderlecht just wasnt able to threat, it almost seemed that some players of Anderlecht were physically on the field but despite that they still were absent. In spite of that Anderlecht had the most ball possession in the first half.
The second half was a little better, certainly because Lukaku was brought in the game and afterwards also Legear, but Frutos was allowed to stay on the field and I dont understand that. But I still had the impression that some players of Anderlecht wanted a calm evening of football instead of a serious quarterfinal in the cup of Belgium. The last 20 minutes Anderlecht put up the pressure, but fruitless, the score stayed 1-0 for Cercle, the best opportunities were for Cercle, the best game for Cercle, the players of Cercle had the most devotion and so Cercle goes through to the semi finals and not Anderlecht. As a fan of Anderlecht I find this really too bad, certainly because I know that Anderlecht can play much better.
So, this time I firstly talked about the match and Im going to remonstrate afterwards.
First and especially, first was said that there only would be one match between Anderlecht and Cercle Bruges, in Anderlecht. This because the calendar is filled completely (I already talked about that) and the match in the previous round between Zulte Waregem and Cercle Bruges was postponed several times. But there were a lot of negative reactions on this (quiet right), certainly because it cant be that one match in the quarterfinals has to be played in one match and the other in two (home and away). But everybody can find other reasons of course (fans, home advantage, earnings, ).
Now, I already said before that the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) is incompetent and again this was proven. Suddenly they (RBFA) said that the quarterfinal between Anderlecht and Cercle Bruges was going to be played in two matches, for this the match (competition) between Anderlecht and Charleroi (with approval of Charleroi) was postponed, so that on Saturday Anderlecht could play against Cercle in the Cup and yesterday the return was played. It seemed a nice gesture of Charleroi.
But then the news came that the RBFA had given admissions at Charleroi and so it broke its own rules! Really unbelievable, but true. There were a lot of negative reactions on this of course (also quiet right). They even asked the discharge of the chairman, and this would have been a good thing, because when one speaks about incompetence Then there was the meeting of the RBFA and one could hear beforehand that the chairman was too certain that he wasnt going to be discharged, and that came true after the meeting. And the admissions given at Charleroi were withdrawn.
Look, I also found that those admissions couldnt be given, it was unimaginable that the RBFA gave those, but something that is given cant be taken back, one has to keep ones word! Now Charleroi is the victim of the incompetence of the RBFA! Normally all Belgian teams have to demand the board of the RBFA resigns! Believe me, put a board thats capable and there would be less problems in the competition and the cup and there would be less problems in the Belgian National Team!
And then there is the broadcasting of this match. I am totally happy that La Deux (Walloon television station) broadcasted this match live (and I dont speak French), because the Flemish television stations didnt broadcast this like they dont broadcast a lot of things the last years. I find this scandalous! What is broadcasted on the Flemish television stations? Especially shit-programs and thousands of rebroadcasts of ! According to me the board of those has to resign too because the things they decide will not hold water. Then there are the television stations where the politicians think that they are capable to be in charge (through ex-politicians and friends and such)! The politicians who lead the country are already not competent to do that, and they dont do what the people want, and they dont listen to the people and they do their what they themselves want, and they dont know what the people want And then they think that they are competent to decide what the people want to see on television? Dont make me laugh!

Zegt de titel je niets? Het lied heeft ook een andere titel, misschien dat deze meer zegt: Grocer Jack. Het is een liedje van voor ik geboren werd, namelijk van 1967. Ik vind dit echt een prachtig liedje, ik herinner me nog goed dat ik het vroeger ongelooflijk mooi vond dat die kinderen erin mee zongen en ik. Nu nog trouwens. Het liedje is gezongen door Keith West. Ik vind de tekst ook heel mooi (Nederlands staat tussen haakjes)

Ik vind het gewoon prachtig om een kind te horen zingen (niet allemaal natuurlijk ). Dat heeft iets magisch, iets rustgevends, dat pakt je gewoon Er zijn nog wel liedjes waarin kinderen meezingen (van vroeger) maar ik kan nu niet direct op de titels komen. Een meer recent liedje met een kinderkoor zal hier in België (en misschien zelfs daarbuiten) wel bekend zijn. Helmut Lotti heeft op de Grote Markt in Brussel in 2003 een megaconcert gegeven (Pop Classics in Symphony). Als afsluiter zong hij het liedje Im Sailing met een kinderkoor (50 kinderen). Laura Seys zong toen een stukje solo en daarna met Helmut samen. Gewoonweg prachtig, daar heb ik gewoon geen woorden voor
Als ik zulke liedjes hoor, met kinderen, dan komt bij mij dat rotte gevoel weer op, dat ik zelf geen kinderen heb. Sommigen zeggen nog niet, maar daar durf ik niet meer op te hopen. Als ik soms zie hoe sommige ouders gezellig dingen met hun kinderen doen, hoe ze samen gaan shoppen, naar de speeltuin gaan, buiten spelen in de sneeuw, dan knaagt dat bij mij enorm. Soms kan je zelfs spreken van jaloersheid. Maar wat doe je eraan hé, om kinderen te krijgen moet je met meer dan één zijn, en ik ben maar alleen. Ik zet dit hier nu wel, maar voor de rest hou ik dit altijd voor mezelf, ik laat het gewoon niet merken dat ik ermee zit dat ik geen kinderen heb.
Als er twee dingen zijn waar ik echt woest van word, dan zijn dat het mishandelen van kinderen en het mishandelen van dieren (later meer hierover). Met mishandelen van kinderen bedoel ik niet alleen mishandelen, maar ook misbruiken, vermoorden, Echt als ik zon dingen hoor of zie dan zou ik kunnen wenen, wenen van verdriet en wenen van woede, en het is maar best dat diegene die een kind of dier mishandelt niet bij mij in de buurt komt dan, want ik sta echt niet in voor de gevolgen dan. Ik kan het gewoon niet vatten dat sommige mensen zo ja hoe moet je het noemen achterlijk? of ziekelijk? of gestoord? kunnen zijn dat ze dit dieren of kinderen zoiets kunnen aandoen. Het gaat hier om weerloze, onschuldige, wezens. Nee, echt, ik kan dat niet begrijpen en voor zowel diegenen die dit kinderen aandoen alsook voor diegene die dit dieren aandoen is een levenslange straf niet voldoende! (en meestal krijgen ze die niet eens!) Zulke personen (feitelijk kan je het geen mensen noemen) moesten ze eerst zelf laten ondervinden wat ze anderen aangedaan hebben, net zolang tot ze volledig gebroken zijn. En als er niets meer over schiet, als de persoon niet meer kan voelen, niet meer kan denken, als die persoon psychisch volledig kapot is, dan kan je deze een spuit geven en zijn leven beëindigen. En dan zal die persoon nooit meer de kans hebben om nog zon dingen te doen. En ja, zelfs voor diegenen die dieren mishandelen, want dit vind ik even erg!

I find it dazzling when a child sings (not all children ). It has something magical, something comforting, something that touches you There are other songs in which children sing (in bygone days) but I cant recall them now. A more recent song with a child choir will be known in Belgium (and probably in other countries too). Helmut Lotti has on the Grand Place in Brussels in 2003 given a mega-concert (Pop Classics in Symphony). As last song he sang the song Im Sailing with a child choir (50 children). Laura Seys sang a little part solo and after that she sang together with Helmut. Downright beautiful, I just havent got words for it
If I hear such songs with children, then this dreadful feeling comes back, the fact that I myself havent got children. Some say not yet, but I no longer dare to hope on it. If I see how some parents do pleasant things with their children, how they go shopping together, how they go together to the playground and have fun, how they play together in the snow, this gnaws at me tremendously. Sometimes one could even say jealousy. But what can I do about it, to have children you have to be with more then one, and Im alone. I put this here, but normally I hold this to myself, I dont let anyone notice that I have problems with the fact that I dont have children.
If there are two things of which I can become really fiercely, then those are the maltreating of children and cruelty to animals (later on more about this). And with cruelty I dont mean only maltreating, but also abuse, murder, molesting, .. Really, when I hear or see such things I can cry, crying out of sorrow and crying out of rage, and its best that the one who maltreats a child or an animal doesnt come near me if I know it because I dont vouch for the consequences then.
I just cant understand that some people are so yes how should one name it retarded? or sick? or mad? that they do such things to children or animals. Were talking about defenceless, innocent, beings. No, really, I cant understand it and for those who do those things to children and to animals a sentence for life isnt hard enough! (and most of the times they arent sentenced for life!) Such persons (actually they cant be named people or humans) should first experience themselves what they did to others, and this until they are completely broken (mentally). And as theres nothing left anymore, if he/she can no longer feel a thing, if he/she cant think anymore, if this person is psychologically completely broken, than one can give him/her an injection to end his/her life. And then such persons wont have the chance to do such things anymore. And yes, even the same sentence for those who maltreat animals, cause I find this as severe as maltreating children!

Dit jaar nog, in Brisbane kwamen beiden speelsters elkaar al tegen, Henin won deze match met 7-5 7-5. In de onderlinge duels won Henin 13 keer, Petrova 2 keer.
De eerste set is een set met weinig lange rallys en opvallend weinig wauw-momenten. Henin kan deze set winnen in de tie-break. De set duurde 54 minuten. Henin haar eerste opslag moet veel beter, ze haalde maar 39%. Maar Petrova haalt zelf ook maar 48%.
In de tweede set komt Henin al snel 0-3 achter, maar op een prachtige manier en knap vechtend (zoals we haar kennen) komt ze terug tot 3-3 en komt ze zelfs op een 4-3 voorsprong. Henin wint deze set met 7-5 en gaat zo door naar de halve finales. In ieder geval een spannendere en betere tweede set. De eerste opslag van Justine was in de tweede set beter. Deze set duurde 57 minuten.
De kans dat Henin in de halve finale tegen ene Russische uitkomt is groot, Maria Kirilenko (Rus), een schone verschijning toch , neemt het tegen de Chinese Jie Zheng op in de andere kwartfinale, de winnares van die partij zal het moeten opnemen tegen Henin.
This year in Brisbane both players already played against each other, Henin won this match with 7-5 7-5. In total they played 15 times against each other, Henin won 13 matches, Petrova only 2.
In the first set there werent much long rallies and striking little wow-moments. Henin could win this first set in the tie-break. The set lasted 54 minutes. Henin her first serve needs to be better, she only had 39%. But Petrova also didnt do that well, she had 48%.
In the second set Petrova soon leads with 3-0, but Henin in a brilliant way and with clever fighting spirit Henin comes back to 3-3 and she even comes to a 4-3 lead. Henin wins this second set with 7-5 and shes through to the semi finals. In any case a much more sensational and better second set. The first serve of Justine in the second set was better. This set lasted 57 minutes
There is a chance that Henin again has to play against a Russian in the semi finals, Maria Kirilenko (Russian), a beautiful woman , has to play against the Chinese Jie Zheng in the other quarter final, the winner of that match has to play against Henin.

Ik heb op Eurosport gekeken, want ik vreesde dat ze het op Sporza teveel over de uitschakeling van Clijsters zouden hebben en dat weet ik ondertussen al, dat heb ik zelf gezien, daar moeten ze niet over blijven doorbomen.

De match begon evenwichtig maar in de vijfde game kon Henin de opslag van Wickmayer breken. Maar het volgende spelletje kon ze deze break niet verzilveren en brak Wickmayer door haar opslag. De volgende game was tot dan de beste game van Wickmayer, indrukwekkend gewoon. De match gaat dan evenwichtig verder totdat het 6-5 voor Wickmayer is. Ze komt drie keer op setpunt, maar ze laat Justine toch iets teveel toe om haar spel te spelen en Henin redt zich iedere keer en kan de stand toch op 6-6 brengen, een tiebreak dus. Het is wel opvallend hoe sterk Justine Henin iedere keer (niet alleen deze match) is als ze onder druk komt te staan. Dan kan ze telkens nog beter spelen! In de tiebreak komt Henin toch iets beter voor de dag dan Yanina, en ze kan deze dan ook winnen en wint daarbij natuurlijk ook de eerste set. De set duurde 68 minuten. Het is opvallend hoe gelijk opgaand deze eerste set was, alles in de statistieken is ongeveer gelijk tussen de twee, enkel de breakpunten, daar had Yanina er zes van en gebruikte er maar één, Justine had er drie en gebruikte er ook één.
In het begin van de tweede set zie je Justine enkele keren een pijnlijk gezicht trekken, er is duidelijk iets mis. Het zou kunnen dat dit in de eerste game van de tweede set gebeurde, maar het kon ook al langer opspelen natuurlijk en telkens erger worden. Yanina gaat vroeg in de tweede set door de opslag van Justine. En in het vijfde spel lukt het haar om opnieuw door de opslag van Justine te gaan. Henin heeft duidelijk last met verplaatsingen, maar toch blijft ze heel geconcentreerd en scherp doorspelen. Al snel staat Yanina Wickmayer in de tweede set op een 5-1 voorsprong. En na 29 minuten wint Yanina de tweede set met 6-1. De statistieken zijn duidelijk in het voordeel van Yanina.
Justine Henin gaat direct in de derde set door de opslag van Yanina Wickmayer. En in de tweede game weet ze deze al te verzilveren en komt zo in de derde set met 2-0 voor. En dan in de derde game vecht Yanina ontzettend goed terug en kan de stand op 2-1 brengen, het is te vergelijken met Justine, als beide speelsters onder druk komen te staan gaan ze eens zo goed spelen, ook Yanina! Henin heeft misschien nog wel last van haar blessure, maar je merkt er niet zoveel van aan haar spel vind ik. Doch, Wickmayer daarentegen heeft momenten dat ze teveel fouten maakt, waardoor het voor Henin natuurlijk ook makkelijker is. Henin kan deze set en dus ook de match winnend afsluiten met 6-3, de derde set duurde 36 minuten. Super voor Justine Henin, spijtig voor Yanina Wickmayer! Maar sterk hoe Justine deze moeilijke wedstrijd wint en blijft spelen nadat ze toch last had van die blessure. Hopen dat ze in de volgende match (kwartfinales) geen last meer heeft!
In totaal duurde deze spannende wedstrijd 133 minuten (2 uren en 13 minuten). De statistieken waren grotendeels in evenwicht, doch, Henin sloeg meer ongedwongen fouten, ze won ook minder punten in totaal dan Yanina. Maar in het percentage van de omgezette breakpunten haalt Henin 60% en Yanina maar 44%.
Spannend, mooi, emotievol, ! Samengevat dan .
In de volgende ronde, de kwartfinale dus, moet Justine Henin het opnemen tegen de Russische Nadia Petrova, die na Clijsters ook haar landgenote Svetlana Kuznetsova versloeg en dat is toch het nummer 3 in de ranglijst van het enkelspel. Het zal dus weer een zware match worden voor Henin, maar ik heb er wel vertrouwen in. En moest ze de Australian Open winnen, dan is in het begin van het sportseizoen al duidelijk wie sportvrouw van het jaar in België word! Toch? Want direct na je rentree een Grand Slam Toernooi winnen geeft toch recht op die prijs, dat werd vorig seizoen toch over gezegd! Toen maakte het niet uit welke resultaten anderen behaalden.
Wat Wickmayer betreft, ik ben er zeker van dat we haar in de toekomst nog meer goede resultaten gaan zien behalen en dat ze zeker bekwaam is om een kwartfinale (en zelfs meer) te behalen op de komende Grand Slams!
Ik hoor net dat er blijkbaar op Sporza bijna niets over Clijsters gezegd is, enkel in het begin van de wedstrijd. Knap! Proficiat!

The match began very balanced but in the fifth game Henin broke through the serve of Wickmayer. But she couldnt cash it in and Wickmayer broke through her serve and the score was even again. The next game was the best game of Wickmayer till then, just impressive. The match goes on very balanced until its 6-5 for Wickmayer. Three times she got a set-point but she allows Justine too much to play her game en Henin manages to stay in the set each time. And she brings the score to 6-6, so a tie-break had to be played. It is impressive how strong Justine Henin plays (not only this match) when she comes under pressure. Each time she plays even better! In this tie-break Henin plays a little better than Yanina, and she wins the first set. The set lasted 68 minutes. Its remarkable how close this first set was, almost everything in the statistics is equal between both, just the break-points, Yanina had six break-points but used only one, Justine had three break-points and she also used one.
In the beginning of the second set Justine a few times has a painful face, its clear that something is wrong. It can be that this happened in the first game of the second set, but it also could have been there longer and getting worse each time. In the second set Yanina soon goes through the serve of Justine. And in the fifth game she succeeded again to go through the serve of Justine. Henin obviously has problems with moving, but she keeps playing concentrated and keen. Rapidly Yanina Wickmayer leads in the second set with 5-1. And after 29 minutes she wins the second set with 6-1. The statistics clearly are in the advantage of Yanina.
Justine Henin directly attacks in the third set and goes through the serve of Yanina Wickmayer. And this time she does win her own serve in the second game and she leads with 2-0. In the third game Yanina fights back very strong and good and brings the score to 2-1, one can compare this with Justine, when both players are playing under pressure they both start to play better, also Yanina has this! Maybe Henin still has problems with her injury but you notice not so much of this in this third set. But, Wickmayer on the other hand has moments that she makes to many mistakes and so she makes it a little easier for Henin. Henin wins this set and thus also the match with 6-3, the third set lasted 36 minutes. This is fantastic for Justine Henin, unfortunate for Yanina Wickmayer! But its very strong how Justine wins this difficult match and how she keeps playing after the injury. I hope that in her next match (quarterfinals) this injury is completely gone!
In total this exciting match lasted 133 minutes (2 hours and 13 minutes). The statistics largely were in balance, but Henin hit the most unforced errors, she also won fewer points in total. But in the percentage of the breakpoints that are conversed Justine gets 60% and Yanina only 44%.

In the next round (quarterfinals) Justine Henin has to play against the Russian Nadia Petrova. Petrova defeated Svetlana Kunetsova (also Russian) after she defeated Clijsters in the previous round. Kuznetsova is the number 3 in the ranking (singles). So it will become again a hard and difficult match for Henin, but I have confidence in the fact that Henin will be ready. And if she should win the Australian Open, then the winner of the Sportswoman of the Year in Belgium this season is already known in the beginning of the season! Isnt it? For winning a Grand Slam Tournament immediately after the comeback confers an entitlement to this title, cause this is what everybody said last year! At that time it didnt matter what other athletes achieved.
Concerning Wickmayer, Im certain that she will obtain more good results in the future and she certainly will reach a quarterfinal (and even more) in the coming Grand Slams!
I just heard that on Sporza almost nothing is said about Clijsters, only in the beginning of the match. Clever! Congratulations!
Morgenvroeg (zondagmorgen) om 9 uur (Belgische tijd, in Australië 19 uur) is het zover, op de Australian Open (4e ronde, laatste 16) nemen twee Belgische vrouwen het tegen elkaar op. Ik ben fan van beiden en kijk dus enorm uit naar de match, al had ik het liever later gezien in het toernooi, het liefst in de finale natuurlijk.

Eon and Eragon.
Ondertussen heb ik een volgende boek uit. Eon. Het boek gaat over drakenmagie, macht en dus ook over draken, al komen die minder aan bod, want het verhaal gaat eigenlijk over Eon. Eon bestudeert de oude kunst van de drakenmagie, in de hoop eens een drakenmeester te worden, de menselijke schakel met de magie van de draken. Maar hij draagt een gevaarlijk geheim met zich mee
Het boek is geschreven door Alison Goodman. Het is bij toeval dat ik deze boek tegen kwam en toen ik de beschrijving las wist ik gewoon dat ik het moest lezen. En ook hier had ik problemen om te stoppen met lezen, ik had het boek uit op twee avonden, late avonden zeg maar.
Alison Goodman heeft nog niet zoveel boeken geschreven, maar van mij mag ze gerust nog héél wat boeken van dit genre schrijven. Momenteel heeft ze twee boeken uit in het Nederlands, Eon en Blues voor Sirius. Een boek dat ik zeker ook zal lezen, dit gaat over de toekomst en tijdreizen.
Ik lees wel graag boeken over draken. Ik heb een tijd geleden een mooie trilogie van Christopher Paolini gelezen. Het eerste boek noemt Eragon en is trouwens ook verfilmd. Dit was ook een boek die ik op twee dagen uit had. Kon gewoonweg niet stoppen met lezen, ik wilde gewoon telkens weer (na ieder hoofdstuk) weten wat er ging gebeuren. Dit was echt een mooi verhaal en het was dus vervelend om te wachten tot het tweede deel in het Nederlands uitkwam. Dat boek noemt Oudste. En je kan het al raden zeker? Inderdaad, toen ik dat boek uit had kon ik niet wachten op het uitkomen van het derde boek Brisingr. En dit duurde nog langer dan bij het tweede boek. En wachten is niet leuk en duurt meestal lang. Ik hoop trouwens dat men ooit het tweede en derde boek verfilmd. Maar de boeken blijven toch beter dan de films.
Indien je graag boeken over draken leest dan kan ik je de boeken van Christopher Paolini echt aanbevelen. Indien je een mooi verhaal zoekt, over drakenmagie en macht, dan moet je echt Eon eens lezen.

The book is written by Alison Goodman. I found the book by coincidence and when I read the description I just knew that I had to read it. And I had again problems to stop reading it, I ended this book in two evenings, one could say late evenings.
Alison Goodman hasnt written many books yet, but I hope she writes more books like this. Currently there are two books translated in Dutch, Eon: Dragoneye Reborn (or The two pearls of wisdom) and Singing the Dogstar Blues. A book that Im going to read in the future. It goes about the future and jumping through time. She has another book in English Killing the Rabbit.
I like reading books about dragons. Some time ago a read a beautiful trilogy of Christopher Paolini. The first book names Eragon and theres a movie about the book too. This also was a book that I read in two days. I just couldnt stop reading and after every chapter I wanted to know what was going to happen. This was a very beautiful story and so I wasnt happy that I had to wait until the second book was published in Belgium and the Netherlands. That book was named Eldest. And you can guess it already? Indeed, when I ended the book I couldnt wait for the third book Brisingr to be published. And this even took longer than the second. And waiting isnt fun and watched pot never boils. Besides, I hope that there will come a movie about the second and third book. But the books are better than the movie.
If you like to read books about dragons you really have to read the books of Christopher Paolini. And if youre looking for a beautiful story, about dragon magic and power then you must read Eon: Dragoneye Reborn.

Yanina Wickmayer & Justine Henin 3e ronde Australian Open 3rd round
Yanina Wickmayer (Bel) - Sara Errani (Ita): 6-1 7-6 6-3
Yanina heeft in haar 3e ronde hard moeten vechten voor de overwinning tegen de Italiaanse Sara Errani. Ze vloog als het ware door de eerste set en won die dan ook met 6-1. Zelfs de netband was in de eerste set een fan van Yanina! maar vanaf dan kwam Errani meer in de match maar dit ook doordat Yanina haar hoge niveau niet kon volhouden en ze had nogal wat last van concentratieverlies. Daar bovenop kreeg Wickmayer ook nog eens last van de rug. Ik hoop dat ze er volledig vanaf is tegen de volgende match! Ik had dit al zien aankomen, in de eerste match zag je haar af en toe al naar haar zij pakken, in de tweede match zag je haar al rekken en nu in de derde match had ze zelfs 'verzorging' nodig. Ondanks die rugklachten nam ze haar hoge niveau toch weer op in de derde set en kon ze deze match ook winnend afsluiten. Totnogtoe is Yanina in 2010 ongeslagen! Wickmayer sloeg in deze match bijna het dubbel aantal gewonnen punten ten opzichte van haar tegenstander. Ze heeft wel maar 33% van haar breakpunten benut.
(Yanina had to fight for the victory in her 3rd round match against the Italian Sara Errani. She rushed through the first set and won that with 6-1. Even the net was a fan of Yanin in the first set! But in the second set Errani came in the match but this also because Yanina couldn't keep the high level she played in the first set and she had problems with her concentration. Above that she also had problems with her lower back. I hope that this is gone in the next match! I already had a feeling that something was wrong, in the first match one could see her pushing her side now and then, in the second match she was stretching her back and now in the third match she even needed a 'medical time-out'. Despite those back-problems, she found her high level again in the third set and could win this match. Up to now Yanina is unbeaten in 2010! Wickmayer hit this match almost dubbel as many winners as her opponent. But she used only 33% of her breakpoints.)
In tegenstelling tot Wickmayer verloor Justine haar eerste set met 3-6. Het leek alsof ze nog vermoeid en stijf was van haar vorige wedstrijd tegen Dementieva. Het was echt een kwestie van overleven, want Kleybanova bleef maar komen en hard slaan. Maar dan in de tweede set ging het alsmaar beter, en met Kleybanova minder en minder, en Henin kon deze set dan ook winnen. De derde set was als het ware nog maar een formaliteit, maar ze moest natuurlijk gespeeld worden en Henin moest deze natuurlijk ook winnen, maar dat deed ze! Henin haalde met haar eerste opslag maar 58%, dit moet toch beter vanaf de volgende ronde. Maar zij benutte wel 71% van haar breakpunten.
(Unlike Wickmayer Justine lost her first set with 3-6. It looked like she was still tired and stiff from her previous match against Dementieva. She really had to survive because Kleybanova kept coming and hitting hard. But then in the second set Henin started playing better, and Kleybanova was playing less better, and so Henin could win this set. One could say that the third set was just a formality, but it had to be played and Henin had to win it of course, and she did! Henin only got 58% with her first serve, this really needs to be better in the next round. But she used 71% of her breakpoints.)
In de volgende ronde (de 4e ronde, bij de laatste 16 dus) moeten Justine Henin en Yanina Wickmayer het tegen elkaar opnemen. En Belgisch onderonsje, beide vrouwen speelden nog niet eerder tegen elkaar. Het word een echte clash! Iets om naar uit te kijken, al had ik als supporter van beide natuurlijk liever gezien dat ze in de finale tegen elkaar uit kwamen. Van mij mag de beste van de twee de match winnen, en wie dat is, dat zal blijken tijdens de match.
(In the next round (the 4th round, the last 16 thus) Justine Henin and Yanina Wickmayer have to play against each other. A Belgian battle, both women never played against each other before. It will be a real clash! Something to look out for, but me, as fan of both would have liked to see them play each other in the finals of course. For me the best of the two may win, and who that is that will become clear during the match.)
N.B.: Clijsters is toch niet zo onklopbaar gebleken zoals iedereen deed uitschijnen, vooral de pers dan! Spijtig dat een Belgische het toernooi moet verlaten, maar ik hoop dat dit duidelijk maakt dat zij NIET de enige en beste tennisspeelster is in België. Er zijn ook nog anderen!
(N.B.: Clijsters isn't that unbeatable as everybody pretended, especially the media then! It's unfortunate that a Belgian has to leave the tournament, but i hope that this makes clear that she is NOT the only and best tennis-player in Belgium. There are others too!)

I found it necessary to say something about this. Do I believe in it? No, I dont. Why not? There is just too much that demonstrates that it wont be. Do I believe in the ascending to a higher dimension, the rebirth and I dont know what explanations they give to it? No, I really dont believe in that. Why? You just have to take al look on the internet. How many books can you find that talk about the end of the Long Count Calendar of the Mayas? A lot. And then Im not talking about the sites one can find. And how many times you find a chapter What to do! on such sites and in those books? Everyone pretends to have found the way to do that, to have received what one should do to survive the end of the world or to rise to a higher level of consciousness from spirits or by visions. Come on, Im open for a lot of things, I even assume that there are things I cant see that are true, but this really goes too far. Thats why I myself will try to find out what and how and will try to find out what its all about. Even if I doubt that Ill find the true meaning any longer in all the nonsense (and sorry that I name it nonsense to those who declare these things, but what for you people is truth, is for me nonsense and probably for you people Im the one that talks nonsense, good, each one has its own opinion).
1) What are we talking about?
The Long Count Calendar of the Mayas.
Who are the Mayas? Mayas were a people in the south of Mexico and northerly Central-America. Already before 2000 BC the Mayas were the first to have a recognizable own culture. This is said by several sites. But, on other sites I read that the Olmecs lived there from 1500 BC till approximately 400 BC and that they were the first to form the base of a culture and that other cultures copied it from them. So about this there apparently is a dispute. And then I ask myself if these dates are known because of the things the Mayans and Olmecs wrote down or by our dating methods? Besides, there are also people saying that the Mayas where the descendants of the Olmecs. Fact is that the Mayas were a civilization who lived in the area between North and South America.
2) What were the calendars of the Mayas?
Im not going to explain everything about the calendars, one does this on other sites on the internet and many explain it differently than others. Actually, how certain are they about the computation of those dates with regard to our won calendars? I dont doubt the correctness of the calendars of the Mayas, there is enough that demonstrates that their calculations are remarkably accurate.
The Mayas used different calendars, more correctly would be time calculations. The tree most important ones the Mayas used were the Long Count, the Haab and the Tzolkin.
The Tzolkin is a holy calendar, it exists of twenty periods of thirteen days. It was used by everybody and was very important for agriculture. After 260 days the calendar starts again.
The Haab calendar is used by priests and is divided in 18 periods of 20 days, followed by five vague and ominous days. 365 days in total.
These two calendars were used combined and one talked about a new time every 52 years or 18980 days (least common multiple of 260 and 365 is 18980). So every 52 years time repeats and starts over. Both calendars name the days, but not the years. Thats why there was the Long Count Calendar, to date events that happen in a longer period than 52 years.
This Long Count Calendar currently counts the number of days since the beginning of this present world. The calendar consists out of 5 indications: the days (Kin: 1 day), the months (Uinal: 20 days) and the years (Tun: 360 days) and above that the Katun, that corresponds with 20 Tun (so 20 years or 7200 days) and the Baktun, that corresponds with 20 Katun (so with 20 x 20 Tun, 400 Tun or 144000 days).
In total there suppose to be 13 Baktun in a cycle, 13 x 144000 days gives a total of 1872000 days.
Others count different, they count 12 Baktuns (12 x 144000 days = 1728000 days) and 19 Katun (19 x 7200 days = 136800 days) and 19 Tun (19 x 360 days = 6840 days) and 17 Uinal (17 x 20 days = 340 days) and 19 Chin (= 19 days). They count this up and it gives a total of (1728000 + 136800 + 6840 + 340 + 19 =) 1871999 days. 1 day less then the other.
Now, the notation of 13 Baktun also is the start of a new cycle (0 Baktun). That is why that day goes lost.
But then I ask myself the question, when does this cycle ends? It isnt as the calendar says 13 Baktun, cause this is the start of the new cycle, so actually the calendar ends the day before 13 Baktun, so this is the end of the cycle according to me (and no, not the end of the world, but of the cycle).
So we know that a complete cycle of the Long Count Calendar of the Mayas (besides, they dont use it any more) is in fact 1871999 days. If you divide this by 365 (to come to our years) one gets 5128 years, but each 4 years we have one day extra and I think thats why they end up at 5125 years.
Now, many say that this cycle began in 3114 BC, others say 3113 BC (depends on the fact of one counts the year 0 or not). So again there is something vague. Cause this means a different of 365 or 366 days.
And so one comes to the year 2012 (3114 BC + the cycle of the Baktun = December 21st 2012). But one also finds other calculations that are already past and yet others where the date is in the future (much further as 2012). And who is right? I dont know. But that this would mean the end of the world is hard to believe, but it could be, there are other cultures that predicted (I come to that in a next message 2012 (2)).
Personal I think that it just means the end of this cycle. The Long Count Calendar just will be reset. Why? Because one found yet other calendars from the Mayas and they even use a longer period than the Long Count. The Piktun, the Kalabtun, Kinchiltun and Alautun. Now, the Piktun, one isnt certain if the Piktun has 13 Baktun or 20 Baktun. Now, since the last cycle ended (more correct, this cycle started) on 13 Baktun it would be illogical to think that this cycle will end on another number?
The Mayas used a total of 17 calendars (known). But originally those werent calendars, but time calculations. All time calculations correspond with another cycle.
3) On which cycle is the Mayas Long Count Calendar made?
The Long Count Calendar is based on 5 cycles of each 5125 years and a little bit. Thus totally 25625 years (and a little bit). And every 25625 years (and a little bit) the centre of the Milky Way, the Sun and the Earth are on one straight line. This would happen on December 21st 2012, although some say that it already happened in 2007.
But yes, I also found that we dont belong to the Milky Way, but to another system, Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy. And the Milky Way is swallowing our system. So yes, again an end of the world? Or is this what is predicted and was everyone (so far) wrong with the dates? Or maybe we (today) just dont understand how they calculated time 5000 years ago and longer? In any case, there are many things that demonstrate that something is going on concerning those two Galaxies. But yes, I also found (on different sites) different things that demonstrate that the world will be destroyed on December 21st 2012 or that we are going to ascend to I dont know what.
Misinterpretation? Most likely! But you never know of course. Cause when you read that the Milky Way is swallowing our system (Sagittarius Dwarf), that the two are merging, when you read that the Sun is much more active the last 50 years. When you read that the climates also change on other planets, when you read that the atmosphere of Mars changing, when you read that Uranus and Neptune probably had a pole shift, when you read that the magnetic field of Jupiter is growing (more than double), when you read that even the moon is getting an atmosphere (sodium), That are a lot of changes, changes that according to me point out that something is going on right now. Besides, I also read that the ice (pole) of Mars is melting. Does this sound familiar? Yes, here on Earth it happens too, and here on Earth one blames the humans, we are supposed to be the main reason. Are we going to say that we are to blame that this happens on Mars? I dont say that we arent partly responsible for the global warming, but its clear that more is happening than just us!
In the past they already saw the Milky Way, maybe they knew that on a particular moment there would be a collision between Earth and the Milky Way and maybe they thought that the Earth would be destroyed? While now we know that two Galaxies are merging.
4) What do the Mayas say about the end of the cycle?
In any case not that the world will be destroyed. I find many statements of people who live today, they say that the world will be destroyed, but I read nowhere in the prophecy (specific) that the world will be destroyed. What I do find is that the 5th World Age is coming to an end. And like there was an end of the first and beginning of the second, and like there was a transition from the 3rd to the 4th, so there will be a transition from the 5th to the 6th World Age (or are we going back to the 1st?). Besides, the Mayas also know longer time calculations, so one can assume that there was something before the 1st World Age? Besides, I find it remarkable that there is little to find about the World Ages of the Mayas. And also one exclusively finds indications (and prove) that the Mayas used the Long Count Calendar AFTER Christ. (That is what I found on the internet of course). But there are no indications of the use of the Long Count before Christ.
I even find it more notable that I can find on different sites that the FOURTH World Age is ending in 2012 and on different other sites I can find that the FIFTH World Age is ending. So also here there is no unanimity. Maybe the Long Count (5 cycles) isnt the same as the 5 World Ages? And maybe there is a complete misinterpretation?
Besides, many (sites) are using statements of descendants of Mayas who live today. But what do we notice in our history? In the religions? Everybody is stating things, everybody is telling its own interpretation, everybody tells it like he/she sees it and there are people telling it so that it is in their advantage. Who says that it isnt the same thing with those Mayas? Is there one that was present in the times they made the Long Count Calendar? Or is there one that was there when the Maya civilization was at its peak? I think not!
5) To end this message!
Its a fact that the Mayas knew much about astronomy, that they knew the perfect cycle of the Sun, that they perfectly understood the stars, planets and such. And this is something to dwell on.
According to me it also is a fact that there is a lot happening at the moment in our solar system and that the Mayas predicted that something was going to happen in these days.
You have to ask yourself the question if our history as we see it (invention of writing, communities, ) matches with the reality. There are two explanations that I can find (and consider myself) for the right time calculations of the Mayans.
Either they experienced a complete cycle (circulation) (calculation could be passed on from generation to generation), but this means they were enormously advanced, not 26000 years ago, but 54000 years ago, cause they had to experience a cycle of the sun before this cycle. But we assume that one (the first humans) then just began to leave Africa?
Either they obtained this information of beings that were then more advanced than we now! And in my blog I already talked about those beings.
Fact is that we are making mistakes somewhere, probably regarding the dating of our history, and so our whole history is wrong. In any case I had doubt concerning the dating methods we use, cause it goes about suppositions and comparisons, but if one finds something of 12000 years ago, then there isnt a brochure that says that it is from 12000 years ago. Then they have to compare it with other objects of 12000 years ago, but Im certain that there wasnt a brochure on those objects that stated that it was from 12000 years ago. The same with Carbon dating and such, how do they know that something is 12000 years old? How does one know that after +/- 57250 years almost all carbon-14 is disappeared? Has on tested this with something? Has one taken something and waited 57250 years? No, one has something of which one assumes that it has that age! Here one also works with suppositions!
So I admit that something is happening in our solar system and it could be that there are going to be enormous changes on our planet. Maybe a lot of people will die because of it. Maybe all the ice will melt, maybe the poles are going to shift, maybe there are going to be a lot of natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, volcano outbursts, ).
But the world isnt going to be destroyed and we certainly arent going to ascend to I dont know what. Im certain of that.
What can happen is that the surviving people will have to live without the modern luxury that we know now (electricity, heating, airplanes, ).
According to me the Earth is strong enough to maintain itself, and humans, Im convinced that a human has sufficient instinct to adapt, to survive in severe circumstances. In the past there were also enormous climate changes and natural disasters, and we (humans) also survived those.
By the way, a personal note, maybe its time for a worldwide disaster, to prevent overpopulation of the planet!

2012 Einde van de wereld? (1)
Ik vond het toch eens nodig om hier wat over te zeggen. Geloof ik erin? Nee, dat doe ik niet. Waarom niet? Er is gewoon te veel dat aantoont dat het niet zo zal zijn. Geloof ik dan in het opstijgen naar een hogere dimensie, het herboren worden en weet ik veel wat voor magische verklaringen men eraan gegeven heeft? Nee, ook dat doe ik niet. Waarom niet? Je moet maar eens rond kijken op het internet. Hoeveel boeken vind je dan die gaan over het einde van de Long Count' Kalender van de mayas? Enorm veel hoor. En dan spreek ik nog niet over al die sites die je tegenkomt. En hoeveel keer kom je op zon site en in die boeken niet een wat te doen-hoofdstuk tegen? Iedereen beweert wel de manier gevonden te hebben, doorgekregen te hebben, gezien te hebben wat je moet doen om het einde van de wereld te overleven of wat je moet doen om op te stijgen naar een hoger bewustzijn, een hogere intelligentie, een hogere dimensie. Komaan, ik sta open voor héél veel dingen, ga er zelfs van uit dat er dingen zijn die ik niet kan zien die toch waar zullen zijn, maar dit gaat toch echt te ver vind ik. Vandaar dat ik zelf maar eens op een zoektocht ga gaan naar het hoe en wat en zal proberen te vinden waar het nu juist om gaat, al twijfel ik dat het ware niet meer zal terug te vinden zijn in al die onzin (en sorry dat ik onzin zeg voor diegenen die zulk een dingen verklaren, maar wat voor jullie waarheid is, is voor mij onzin en hoogstwaarschijnlijk ben ik volgens jullie onzin aan het uitkramen, ook goed, ieder zijn eigen mening).
1) Waar gaat het om?
De Long Count' Kalender van de Mayas.
Wie zijn de Mayas? Mayas waren een volk dat leefde in het zuiden van Mexico en noordelijk Centraal-Amerika. Al voor 2000 v.C. hadden de Mayas een herkenbare eigen cultuur. Dit wordt gezegd door meerdere sites. Doch, op andere sites vind ik dat de Olmeken er waren van 1500 v.C. tot ongeveer 400 v.C. en dat zij de eerste cultuur waren en de basis vormden voor andere culturen. Dus hier is al onenigheid over. En dan vraag ik me af of dit komt door wat de Mayas en de Olmeken optekenden of door het bepalen van de tijd van ons? Trouwens, er zijn er ook die zeggen dat de Mayas de afstammelingen waren van de Olmeken.
Feit is dat de Mayas een cultuur waren die leefden in het dunne verbindingsstuk van de landmassas van Noord en Zuid Amerika.
2) Wat waren de kalenders van de Mayas?
Ik ga hier niet alles over de kalenders gaan uitleggen, dat doet men al op voldoende sites op het internet en velen doen het dan ook nog eens anders dan anderen. Dus hoe zeker is men eigenlijk van de tijdsbepaling ten opzichte van onze kalender? Aan de juistheid van de kalenders van de Mayas twijfel ik evenwel niet, er is voldoende dat aantoont dat hun berekeningen opmerkelijk juist zijn.
De Mayas gebruikten verschillende kalenders, een stelsel van tijdsberekeningen feitelijk. De drie belangrijkste die de Mayas gebruikten waren de Long Count, de Haab en de Tzolkin.
De Tzolkin is een heilige kalender van twintig periodes van dertien dagen. Hij werd gebruikt door de hele maatschappij en was vooral belangrijk voor de landbouw. Na 260 dagen herhaalt de kalender zich.
De Haab-kalender is gebruikt door de priesters en is verdeeld over 18 periodes van 20 dagen, gevolgd door vijf onbestemde en onheilspellende dagen. 365 dagen dus in totaal.
Deze twee kalenders werden gecombineerd gebruikt en men sprak over een nieuwe tijd na 52 jaar of 18980 dagen (kleinste gemene veelvoud van 260 en 365 is 18980). Dus elke 52 jaar herhaalt de tijd zich en begint opnieuw. Beide kalenders benoemden de dagen, doch niet de jaren. Daarom was er de Long Count' Kalender om gebeurtenissen over een langere periode dan 52 jaar te dateren.
Deze Long Count' Kalender telt momenteel het aantal dagen sinds het begin van de huidige wereld. De kalender is opgebouwd uit 5 aanduidingen: de dagen (Kin: 1 dag), de maanden (Uinal: 20 dagen) en de jaren (Tun: 360 dagen) en daarbovenop nog de Katun, die telkens overeenkomt met 20 Tun (dus met 20 jaren of 7200 dagen) en de Baktun die overeenkomt met 20 Katun (dus met 20 x 20 Tun, 400 Tun of 144000 dagen).
In totaal zouden er 13 Baktun in een hele cyclus, 13 x 144000 dagen dus, wat een totaal geeft van 1872000 dagen.
Anderen tellen dan weer anders, zij tellen 12 Baktuns (12 x 144000 dagen = 1728000 dagen) en 19 Katun (19 x 7200 dagen = 136800 dagen) en 19 Tun (19 x 360 dagen = 6840 dagen) en 17 Uinal (17 x 20 dagen = 340 dagen) en 19 Kin (=19 dagen). Dit tellen zij dan op en dan komen zij aan een totaal van (1728000 + 136800 + 6840 + 340 + 19 =) 1871999 dagen. 1 dag minder dan de anderen.
Nu, de notatie met 13 Baktun is blijkbaar ook gelijk aan het begin van de volgende cyclus (0 baktun). Vandaar dat die ene dag verloren gaat.
Maar dan stel ik me al de vraag, wanneer eindigt de cyclus dan? Toch niet als de kalender op 13 Baktun staat, want dat is het begin van de nieuwe cyclus, dus feitelijk eindig de kalender de dag ervoor, dat is het einde volgens mij (en nee, niet het einde van de wereld, maar van de cyclus).
We weten dus nu dat een hele cyclus bij de Long Count Kalender van de Mayas (die zij trouwens niet meer gebruiken blijkbaar) 1871999 dagen telt. Als je dit deelt door 365 (om naar onze jaren te komen) kom je op 5128 jaar uit, maar wij tellen om de vier jaar een dag extra en ik denk dat men daarom aan 5125 jaar komt.
Nu, velen zeggen dat deze cyclus begon in 3114 v.C., anderen zeggen 3113 v.C. (hangt ervan af of je het jaar 0 mee telt). Dus hier is alweer een punt van onduidelijkheid. Want dat scheelt toch maar liefst 365 of 366 dagen.
En zo komt men aan het jaar 2012 (3114 v.C. + de cyclus van de Baktun = 21/12/2012). Maar je komt ook andere berekeningen tegen die al voorbij zijn en die nog veel verder van ons af liggen. En wie heeft er nu gelijk? Ik weet het niet. Maar dat dit het einde van de wereld zou zijn vind ik nogal moeilijk te geloven, al kan het natuurlijk altijd zijn, er zijn nog andere culturen die dit voorspelden (kom ik op terug in een volgend bericht 2012? (2)).
Persoonlijk denk ik dat het gewoon het einde van een cyclus betekent. De Long Count Kalender wordt gewoon gereset. Waarom? Omdat er nog kalenders gevonden zijn bij de Mayas die nog een langere tijdsperiode berekenen. De Piktun, de Kalabtun, Kinchiltun en Alautun. Nu de Piktun, men is er niet zeker van of de Piktun tot 13 Baktun of tot 20 Baktun gaat. Nu, vermits de vorige cyclus eindigde (juister nog, deze cyclus begon) op 13 Baktun is het toch bijna onlogisch om te denken dat deze cyclus op een ander getal zou eindigen?
In totaal hanteerden de Mayas 17 kalenders (dat wij weten toch). Maar dit waren oorspronkelijk géén kalenders, maar tijdsberekeningen. Alle tijdsberekeningen kwamen overeen met een andere cyclus.
3) Op welke cyclus berekenden de Mayas de Long Count Kalender?
De Long Count Kalender is gebaseerd op 5 cyclussen van elk 5125 jaar en een beetje. In totaal dus 25625 jaren (en een beetje). En om de 25625 jaren (en een beetje) komen het centrum van het Melkwegstelsel, de Zon en de Aarde op één lijn te liggen. Dit zou op 21/12/2012 gebeuren, al zeggen anderen dat dit in 2007 al gebeurd is.
Maar ja, anderzijds ben ik ook tegengekomen dat wij blijkbaar niet tot het Melkwegstelsel horen, maar tot een andere stelsel, Sagittarius Dwarf galaxy. En ons stelsel zou opgeslokt worden door het Melkwegstelsel. Dus ja, weer een einde van de wereld op komst? Of is dit wat er voorspeld word en is iedereen (totnogtoe) gewoon fout geweest met de datums? Of misschien begrijpen wij vandaag gewoon niet hoe men de tijd berekende 5000 jaar geleden en langer geleden? In ieder geval, er zijn vele dingen die aantonen dat er wel degelijk iets aan de hand is betreffende deze twee Melkwegstelsels. Maar ja, ik kom op verschillende paginas ook veel dingen tegen die aantonen dat de wereld gaat vergaan op 21/12/2012 of dat we gaan opstijgen naar ik weet niet wat. Misinterpretatie? Hoogstwaarschijnlijk! Al weet je nooit natuurlijk. Want als je leest dat het Melkwegstelsel ons stelsel (Sagittarius Dwarf) opslokt, dat de twee als het ware samensmelten, als je leest dat de zon enorm veel meer activiteit vertoont de laatste 50 jaar. Als je leest dat er ook klimaatsveranderingen zijn op andere planeten, als je leest dat de atmosfeer van Mars dichter word, als je leest dat er enorme pool verschuivingen zijn op Uranus en Neptunus, als je leest dat Jupiters magnetisch veld meer dan verdubbeld is, als je leest dat zelfs de maan een atmosfeer begint te krijgen (natrium), Toch enorm veel veranderingen de laatste tijd, veranderingen die volgens mij toch aanduiden dat er iets gaande is. Trouwens, ik las ook dat de ijspoolkap van Mars aan het smelten is. Komt dit je bekend voor? Ja, hier op de Aarde gebeurd dit ook, en hier op Aarde geeft men de schuld aan de mens, wij zouden de grootste oorzaak zijn. Gaan ze straks ook verklaren dat wij de schuld zijn dat dit op Mars gebeurt? Ik zeg niet dat we niet deels verantwoordelijk zijn voor de opwarming van de Aarde, maar het is toch duidelijk dat er meer aan de hand is!
Vroeger zagen ze de Melkweg al, misschien wisten zij dat er op een bepaald moment een botsing kwam (tussen de Aarde en de Melkweg) en dachten zij dat de aarde dan zou vergaan? Terwijl nu blijkt dat de twee melkwegstelsels samensmelten.
4) Wat wordt er juist gezegd door de Maya?
In ieder geval niet dat de wereld zal vergaan. Ik vind veel uitspraken van mensen die vandaag leven die zeggen dat de wereld zal vergaan, maar ik lees nergens dat er specifiek in de profetie staat dat de wereld zal vergaan. Wat ik wel terug vind is de vijfde World Age tot een einde komt. En zoals er van de eerste naar de tweede een overgang was, zoals er van de derde naar de vierde een overgang was, zo zal er waarschijnlijk een overgang zijn van de vijfde naar de zesde World Age (of word het terug 1ste?). Trouwens, vermits de Mayas ook langere tijdsberekeningen kennen kan men toch aannemen dat er ook iets was voor de eerste World Age? Ik vind het trouwens opmerkelijk dat er héél weinig te vinden is over de 'World Ages' van de Mayas. Ook trouwens het terugvinden van het gebruik van de Long Count Kalender is opmerkelijk, de oudste vondsten dateren nog steeds van NA Christus. (Zo ver ik het juist kan terugvinden op het internet natuurlijk)
Ik vind het trouwens nog opmerkelijker dat ik op verschillende sites terug vind dat de VIERDE World Age eindigt in 2012 en op verschillende andere sites eindigt de VIJFDE World Age. Ook hier is géén eenstemmigheid. Komt de Long Count dan toch niet overeen (5 cyclussen) met de 5 World Ages? En misschien is er dus wel een volledige misinterpretatie?
Trouwens, velen gebruiken uitspraken van Mayas die vandaag leven. Maar wat merken we bij onze geschiedenis, bij de religies? Iedereen verteld maar op, iedereen verteld zijn eigen interpretatie, iedereen verteld hoe hij/zij het zelf ziet en er zijn er zelfs die het zo vertellen dat het in hun voordeel is. Wie zegt dat er bij deze Mayas niet hetzelfde gebeurt? Is er iemand van hen die erbij was toen men de Long Count Kalender maakte? Of iemand die erbij was in de hoogdagen van de Mayas? Ik neem aan van niet!
5) Om dit deel af te sluiten!
Wat een feit is, is dat de Mayas zoveel over astronomie wisten, dat zij de perfecte cyclus van de omloop van de zon wisten, dat zij de sterren, planeten en dergelijke perfect begrepen. En dit is iets om bij stil te staan.
Het is ook een feit volgens mij dat er veel aan het gebeuren is momenteel in ons zonnestelsel en dat de Mayas voorspelden dat er iets zou gebeuren rond deze tijd.
Men moet zich de vraag stellen of onze geschiedenis zoals wij die zien (uitvinding schrift, gemeenschappen, ) wel klopt met de werkelijkheid. Er zijn twee verklaringen die ik kan vinden (en zelf bedenken) voor de juiste tijdsberekeningen van de Mayas.
Ofwel hebben zij die volledige omloop meegemaakt (berekening kan doorgegeven zijn van generatie op generatie), maar dit wil zeggen dat zij al enorm geavanceerd waren niet 26000 jaar geleden, maar 54000 jaar geleden, want zij moeten voor deze omloop al een omloop van de zon meegemaakt hebben. Maar wij gaan ervan uit dat men toen pas (de eerste mensen) begon te vertrekken uit Afrika?
Ofwel hebben zij die informatie verkregen van wezens die al veel verder stonden als zij, waarschijnlijk zelfs wel veel verder dan wij nu! En ik had het in mijn blog al over dergelijke wezens.
Feit blijft dat wij ergens serieuze fouten maken, waarschijnlijk betreffende de tijdsbetaling van de geschiedenis, en dus klopt onze hele geschiedenis niet. Ik had sowieso al mijn twijfels bij de tijdsbepalingen die wij gebruiken, want het gaat uit van veronderstellingen en vergelijkingen, maar als je iets vind van 12000 jaar geleden, dan staat daar niet bij vermeld dat het van die tijd is, dan moet men naar andere dingen gaan kijken en gaan vergelijken met andere dingen van die tijd, maar ik ben er zeker van dat bij die andere dingen van die tijd ook niet vermeld stond van wanneer het was. Net zo met Carbondating en dergelijke, op basis van welke dingen weet men of iets 12000 jaar oud is? Hoe weet men bijvoorbeeld dat na +/- 57250 jaar zo goed als alle koolstof-14 is verdwenen? Heeft men dat getest met iets? Heeft men iets genomen en 57250 jaar gewacht? Nee, men heeft iets genomen waarvan men dacht dat het die leeftijd had! Ook hier verder gaan vanuit veronderstellingen!
Ik geef dus toe dat er wel degelijk iets aan de hand is in ons zonnestelsel en het zou goed kunnen dat er ook nog enorme veranderingen gaan gebeuren op onze planeet. Misschien zullen er wel heel wat mensen door sterven. Misschien smelt al het ijs, misschien verschuiven de polen, misschien gaan er heel wat natuurrampen (aardbevingen, tsunamis, overstromingen, vulkaanuitbarstingen, ) zijn. Maar de wereld gaat niet vergaan en we gaan al zeker niet opstijgen naar weet ik veel wat. Daar ben ik wel zeker van.
Wat misschien wel kan gebeuren is dat we een tijd zullen moeten leven zonder de moderne luxe die we nu kennen (elektriciteit, verwarming, vliegtuigen, ).
De Aarde is volgens mij sterk genoeg om zich staande te houden (figuurlijk hé!) en de mens, ik ben ervan overtuigd dat een mens nog voldoende instinct heeft om zich aan te passen, om te overleven in barre omstandigheden, in vroegere tijden zijn er ook enorme klimaatsveranderingen geweest en natuurrampen, en ook die hebben we overleefd.
Trouwens, nog een persoonlijke noot, misschien is het wel tijd voor een wereldwijde ramp, om overbevolking van de planeet te voorkomen!

Wat is de plenaire vergadering? Ook wel voltallige vergadering genoemd, plenair komt van het Latijnse plenum wat vol betekent. Dit is een vergadering waar alle leden aanwezig MOGEN zijn. Dit vind ik een tegenstelling! Voltallig en aanwezig mogen zijn? Als je de leden niet verplicht van allemaal aanwezig te zijn dan ga je waarschijnlijk nooit volledig zijn! En als niet iedereen aanwezig is kan je het toch niet vol noemen? En dit merken we bij ons in België héél goed. In andere instellingen kan je natuurlijk ook plenaire vergaderingen hebben, maar ik wil het hier hebben over de plenaire vergadering van de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers.
