Hoi iedereen,

Het is hier heel hectisch met school en allerlei andere zaken, dus er zal minder vaak iets gepost worden hier.

Momenteel ben ik vooral op zoek naar een slaapmatje, achtertassen, vliegtickets, multitool (gereedschap) en fietskledij.

Ik heb recent (opnieuw) een gratis stuurtas op de kop kunnen tikken, bedoeld voor een click-fix systeem (niet inbegrepen). Ik ga hem zaterdag 13 november krijgen, op een beurs. Het click-fix systeem moet ik zelf dus nog aankopen, maar dat zal nog altijd goedkoper uitkomen dan een nieuwe stuurtas met click-fix systeem aan te kopen. Een hoofdlamp heb ik ook recent aangekocht, heel goedkoop in de Lidl.

Welke slaapmat ik ga kopen is nog een grote vraag. In januari komt er een review uit van enkele slaapmatjes en ik hoop daar iets wijzer uit te worden. Een (zelf)opblaasbare heeft als groot voordeel dat deze klein te verpakken is, maar is meestal vrij duur en heeft wel eventjes nodig voor deze is opgeblazen. Een vaste (zo mousse-achtig) is enorm groot om te verpakken, maar goedkoop en meteen gebruiksklaar.

Voor de achtertassen kijk ik zeer regelmatig op Ebay, in de hoop dat er ooit eens een setje voorbij komt aan een iets goedkopere prijs. Ik heb nog tijd genoeg, dus hier is geen haast bij.

Mijn vliegtickets kan ik bijna gaan kopen! Rond half november hebben de meeste reisbureaus ook de gegevens binnen voor reizen in september 2011. Binnen een paar weken ga ik dus de reisbureaus afgaan, op zoek naar de meest voordelige totaalformule. Ik bedoel met een totaalformule dat ik heen en terug moet geraken, dat mijn fiets mee moet kunnen, flexibele data (1x aanpasbaar), annulatieverzekering en een soort van reisverzekering voor het geval dat er met het thuisfront of met mij iets gebeurt. Indien mogelijk liefst ook een clausule voor als mijn fiets gestolen wordt, maar dat is optioneel.
 
Voor mijn multitool moet ik vooral eens kijken welke sleutels ik zeker nodig heb (m.a.w. welke boutjes en dergelijke zitten er aan mijn fiets die ik eventueel los ga moeten draaien) en welk ander (standaard) gereedschap ik ook mee moet hebben. Als ik deze lijst heb kan ik gaan zoeken naar een goede multitool die deze allemaal heeft, niet te duur is en liefst niet te groot/zwaar is. Momenteel denk ik aan het merk Topeak, maar dat kan nog wel veranderen.

Mijn fietskledij ga ik aankopen in de AsAdventure, maar hier wacht ik ook nog eventjes mee. Ik ben van plan deze in februari 2011 aan te kopen ongeveer, zodat ik nog tijd heb om deftig op te zoeken wat ik nodig heb en wat zeker niet. Ik heb zeker 1 T-shirt en 1 broek nodig, maar liefst 2 van elk (moet ik niet elke dag wassen). Ook fietshandschoenen (voor in de zomer) staan zeker op het lijstje. Een regenpak heb ik al, maar als ik goedkoop een ander kan kopen dat minder zwaar is én kleiner te verpakken is dan koop ik dat waarschijnlijk ook mee.

Hi everyone,

It's really hectic here with school and a lot of other things, so I will post less often.

At the moment I'm mainly looking for a sleeping mat, back bags, plane tickets, multitool (tools) and cycling cloths.

I recently got (another) free handlebar bag, meant for a click-fix system (not included). I'll receive it Saturday the 13th of November, at a fair. I do have to buy the click-fix system, but it will still be cheaper than buying a new handlebar bag with click-fix system. I recently bought a headlamp, very cheap at the Lidl.

Which sleeping mat I'll buy remains a big question. In January there will be a review of several sleeping mat and I hope it will help me decide. A (self) inflatable one has as big advantage that you can pack it really small, but it's quite expensive and it takes a little while before it's inflated. A fixed one (with foam) is huge to take with you, but cheap and you can use it immediately.

I check Ebay very regularly for my back bags, to find a pair that's a bit cheaper than the others. I still have plenty of time, so there is no rush.

I can almost get my plane tickets! In a few weeks the most travel agencies will have their data for trips in September 2011. In a few weeks I'll visit the travel agencies, to look for the cheapest all-inclusive formula. With all-inclusive I mean that I have to get there and get back, with my bike and that I have adjustable dates. I also want an annulations insurance and a travel insurance, in case something happens with me or with the people at home. If possible, I also want an insurance for when my bike gets stolen, but that's optional.

For my multitool I have to check which keys I'll definitely need (what kind of bolts there are on my bike that I may need to loosen/tighten) and what standard tools I need to take with me. If I have this list I can start my search for a good multitool that has all of them, that's not too expensive and not too heavy/big. At the moment I'm thinking of the brand Topeak, but it can still change.

I'll buy my cycling clothes in the AsAdventure, but I'm going to wait a bit with buying them, 'til February 2011. This will give me time to search what I need and what I definitely don't need. I'll need a T-shirt and a trouser, preferably 2 of each (so that I don't have to do the laundry every day). Gloves (summer) are also on the list. I already have a rain suit, but if I can find a cheap one that's less heavy and smaller to carry, I'll probably buy it too.
