"Unknown" Tops "I Am Number Four" at the Box Office
Liam Neeson Winning what was quite the slow past few days at the box office, "Unknown" edged out "I Am Number Four" for the top spot over the President's Day weekend.
The Liam Neeson/Olivia Wilde thriller garnered the pole position with an estimated $21.7 million in earnings.
Having grabbed up the most money on Friday (February 18), Dianna Agron and Alex Pettyfer's "I Am Number Four" slipped a bit while ending up in second with an approximate three-day total on $19.5 million.
Rounding out the top five at the box office were "Gnomeo & Juliet 3D" ($19.4 million), "Just Go With It" ($18.2 million) and "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son" ($17 million).
Looks like JWoww's naked body is once again a subject of potential legal dramz.
The JerseyShore star breathed a huge sigh of relief when a judge ruled that her ex-boyfriend Thomas Lippolis had no legal right to distribute nude pictures of her because he took them without her permission "while she was under the effects of pre-surgical and post-surgical anesthesia" last February.
Now, JWoww has admitted that her ex-bf has a nude video of her, which he was allegedly shopping around.
Here's what she had to say about it:
Its not like me posing or how girls send pictures .texting. These are sleeping or things like that.
This was only 6 months into our relationship before we even broke up. It makes me think, did he have it kind of, like, planned?
Given the fact that JWoww's ex has no legal right to release the photos, we're thinking this video is unlikely to see the light of day either.
Do U think JWoww is safe? Or do U think her video will inevitably get leaked?
David Archuleta reportedly has been dropped from his record label, JiveRecords. A rep for the label told sources Archie has been "released from our roster," but offered no reason why.
We can guess why, considering his album sales forTheOtherSide of Down, but it still sucks. He's got a lot of potential and maybe if they gave him enough attention, he'd find his way back on top.
Well, in the end he shouldn't be someplace he's not wanted anyway. Time to start anew, BB! The best revenge is living well, so buck up, write some killer stuff and come back even stronger than before.
Or maybe you could go to school? That could be worth giving a try too!
Before Twilight, I did any movie that I got and tried to make the best of it afterwards. Now, youre expected to come into the movie and provide not only economic viability, but a performance as well. People are like, You cant just mess around. Were employing you to be a star and an actor. Its difficult and its scary.
Robert Pattinson is about to enter a new kind of Twilight Zone, courtesy of David Cronenberg. It was announced today that the Canadian filmmaker has cast the vampire heartthrob as a bloodsucker of a different coloura multi-billionaire hedge fund manager in Manhattan who squanders his fortune betting against the survival of the world economy. The movie is Cosmopolis, a Canada-France coproduction based on the 2003 nouvella of the same name by award-winning American writer Don Delillo. Pattinson is set to co-star with Paul Giamatti (Barneys Version), Juliette Binoche (The English Patient), and Matheu Amalric (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly).
Cronenberg appears to be on a roll. After the success of The History of Violence (2005) and Eastern Promises (2007), two Oscar-nominated hits, he has been creeping ever closer to mainstream acceptance, without compromising his singular vision. He recently completed A Dangerous Method, a German co-production about Freud and Jung, starring (in his third role with director) Viggo Mortensenit will likely open next fall after a festival premiere in Cannes, Venice or TIFF. Its always a good sign when a filmmaker has another movie on the go before his last one has hit the screen.
Landing a Cronenberg role is a savvy move for Pattinson, who needs to make the leap from the matinee idol ghetto of Twilight to more mature roles. His is not unlike the dilemma faced by an aging child star. In his previous non-vampire outing, the romance Remember Me, Pattinson showed the promise of a serious actor, but the film was a dud. Cronenberg is always a class act, and (despite his image as a horrormeister) hes very much an actors director. Colin Farrell had originally been tapped for the Pattinson role, until he opted to star in a remake of Total Recall. And earlier candidates attached to the role of the female lead included Marion Cotillard and Keira Knightley, who stars in A Dangerous Method.
Cronenberg wrote the script for Cosmopolis, which is described as a thriller. In the directors previous adaptations of fictionnotably Naked Lunch, Dead Ringers and Crashhe has played fast and loose with the source material, bending it to his own vision, so dont expect Delillos work to be transposed too literally. I havent read the book. But it appears to have some classic Cronenberg elements, including some glimmers of Crash. Heres how Wikipedia summarizes the plot:
Cosmopolis is the story of Eric Packer, a 28 year old multi-billionaire asset manager who makes anodyssey across midtown Manhattan in order to get a haircut. The stretch limo which adorns the cover of the book is richly described as highly technical and very luxurious, filled with television screens and computer monitors, bulletproofed and floored with Carrara marble. It is also cork lined to eliminate (though unsuccessfully, as Packer notes) the intrusion of street noise.
Like James Joyces Ulysses, Cosmopolis covers roughly one day of time and includes highly sexed women and the theme of father-son separation. Packers voyage is obstructed by various traffic jams caused by a presidential visit to the city, a funeral procession for a Sufi rap star and a full-fledged riot. Along the way, the hero has several chance meetings with his wife, seeing her in a taxi, a bookstore, and lying naked in the street, taking part in a movie as an extra. Meanwhile, Packer is stalked by two men, a comical pastry assassin and an unstable credible threat. Through the course of the day, the protagonist loses incredible amounts of money for his clients by betting against the rise of the yen, a loss that parallels his own fall. Packer seems to relish being unburdened by the loss of so much money, even stopping to make sure he loses his wifes fortune as well, to ensure his ruin is inevitable.

Miley Cyrus To Move To Indonesia To Do charity Work?
The star reportedly wants to take a break from her busy schedule to help others...

Having been criticised for her wild lifestyle at such a young age recently, could Miley Cyrus be about to prove us wrong?
According to the Daily Star, the teen who was recently caught smoking bong at a party has reportedly revealed an interest in going to do charity work in Indonesia.
Admitting that she "looses sleep" worrying about globa poverty, the singer and actress said that she wants to help build wells to impove access to clean water in the third world country.
"Honestly, I cannot sleep at night because I get so excited about doing good things for the world, changing the world."
However with plans for a tour and a return to the charts, we're wondering when Miley will find time to help change the world...
Miley Cyrus is furious that her country singin' daddy, Billy Ray, sat down with GQ to bash the Disney show that made them mega-rich, as well as for his comments saying he's "scared" for his daughter's well-being. Now, I'm hearing that the 'Hannah Montana' star has signaled that she wants him to clam up and stop acting like another infamous stage dad.
"To say Miley is angry is an understatement," a friend of the Disney star tells me. "She's furious that her own flesh and blood would make a private matter so public. Who does he think he is, Michael Lohan?"
While Miley hasn't commented publicly about the article, friends tell me the actress-singer is mystified, saying it's "unforgivable" that Billy Ray would randomly start biting the hand that fed him, as well as gab about his kid's personal life.
"This isn't what a father does," my source says. "He never said a bad world about 'Hannah Montana' all those years it made millions for the family, and now that Miley has turned 18 and is making her own decisions, he does this. Unforgivable."
There have also been rumblings that Miley and Billy Ray haven't actually spoken since December, before his interview for the GQ article. "Miley has told him that if he wants to talk with her he has her number," the friend reveals. "It's been the same number she always has had."
The eccentric actress, who's famous for her oddball outfits and one set of mismatched shoes, is one lady that celeb stylist June Ambrose (the woman behind Missy Elliott's famous puffy garbage bag outfit and some of Mariah Carey's most slimming looks) would like to help.
And since HBC herself promised her upcoming Oscar outfit will be "a catastrophe," maybe the star should take her up on the offer.
Ambrose told us under the Lincoln Center tents what she'd do...
"She wants to be edgy, she wants to be outrageous, that's fine," Ambrose said. "I'd put her in McQueen. I'd put her in something that would be very avant garde. And I would just stop her when she wants to take it somewhere else."
The stylist said she almost "can't wait" for the Oscars to see what the nominee turns up in at the ceremony. "She still gets press and she gets off on it," Ambrose said, adding that the mismatched shoes the actress wore to the Golden Globes had her going crazy.
"I'm done, just done with that," she laughed.
Ambrose said she knows what it's like to be quirky, but that there's a line between originality and ugly.
"That's where I can help her," she explained. "I'm the girl that creates icons. I'm the girl that put Missy in the blow-up suit and put P. Diddy in the shiny suit, so I know what it's like to create an iconic moment out of costume."
As for the best dressed in Hollywood, the stylist says her favorites are Brad Pittand Angelina Jolie.
"They still really rock me to the core. She's just like nice and even when he's scruffy he's still chic," she said. "After all those children she looks pretty amazing."
And her favorite star of Fashion Week? Julia Stiles.
"I sat next to her a few times. She looked lovely," the stylist told us.
Jersey Shore Recap: Smush Interrupted, Sloppopatumus Unclogged
Jersey Shore Recap: Smush Interrupted, Sloppopatumus Unclogged
In the aftermath of Sammi's exit from Jersey Shore last week, Ronnie was down in the dumps. The rest of the gang seemed focused more on absurd pranks.
Despite the title, "The Great Depression" was lighter fare than more recent installments, with fewer epic meltdowns and more bathroom humor - quite literally.
As always, THG has broken down some of the best Jersey Shore quotes and scenes from the episode in our trademark +/- recap below. Let's get to it:
THAT'S JUST WRONG: Pauly's discover was dirty even by JS standards.
Right off the bat for using the show to pitch Britney Spears' new music video. Videos, on MTV? What a concept! Plus 5 in hopes that this pattern continues.
Despite being enraged every second she's around, Ronnie mopes now that Sammi's gone, whining non-stop in an all-out effort to grow a vagina. Minus 19.
Seriously, Jenni could take Ronnie. You can see the disgust on her face. Plus 4.
Sammi breaks down at home. Minus 10 for not making this a Sammi-free week, 'cause she'll be back wearing her one white skirt/black top outfit in no time.
The Situation attempts to give Ron-Ron a pep talk. On relationships. Minus only 2, because it was nice of him to reach out, but talk about useless advice.
Deena slams cake in Vinny's face, then hides under a bed, only to struggle to get her ass, emblazoned with the words GO HARD on it, underneath. Plus 8.
The prank war gets a nasty when droppings from the dog end up in Deena's and Pauly's beds. Practical jokes are awesome, but ... fecal waste. Minus 10.
Vinny hijacks Snookis favorite stuffed animal, Crocodilly, dangling it from the deck in a stressful hostage situation. That's how to mess with a girl! Plus 7.
Is it just us or is Snooki resembling Snarf from Thundercats? Minus 6, because at least you never had to worry about Snarf getting naked every week.
JERSEY SHORE UNCLOGGED: Vinny attempts to navigate the brown river.
Ron totally is a girl. He's eating himself silly amid all this grief, when he's not crying of course. How else can one clog so many toilets? Minus 3, or one point per.
Which backed-up plumbing event was more unpleasant? The toilet, as pictured above, or what was going on inside Deena's body? Forget it, let's move on. Wash.
Minus 4 because I spit out my coffee as Snooki prescribed it to Deena, saying it will so help her issue by causing a rainstorm for the butthole. My mind is blown.
Pauly finds some ladies underwear in the can. How are you supposed to get fresh in the bathroom with these dirty-ass drawers? he muses. Seriously. Plus 9.
Plus 5 more for this line by Vinny, absolving himself of any possible tie to said dirty-ass drawers: "The girls I bring home wear no underwear." Like a true PSA.
Ronnie: "I'm glad I've got a penis." Dude ... no. Minus 3.
WHAT UP, GUYS! The gang raids the Smush Room to Snooki's chagrin.
Snook bags a "Mario Brother" named Jionni LaValle! Plus 8. But ...
Having been c*ck-blocked by none other than Jionni a few weeks back, Vinny sees an opportunity for revenge, excavating Snooki from the Smush Room. Plus 11.
Later, The Situation interrupts Vinny's late-night activities by feeding him a burger. You know one of these days, someone's going to try to pull The Rodeo. Plus 8.
Deena feels drunk and homesick after a night out at Karma. The Situation refers to her as a Sloppopatumus, which was funny but poorly-timed, so Plus only 4.
Ronnie somehow talks Deena down, and it's actually sweet. Plus 7.
How Crazy Will Prince William's Bachelor Party Get?
How Crazy Will Prince William's Bachelor Party Get?
Danny Martindale/WireImage
Bring on the 3 Bs: Brits, booze and bachelors! It's all you need to have a royal send-off bash for the wedding of the year!
Now that the parties have both been announced and the big day is just around the corner, it's time for the real fun. And we're not talking about a game of polo.
We're talking late night drunken partying, for which both Prince William and Prince Harry have been known to heavily indulge.
The question is, just how crazy is this bachelor party going to get?
Since best man Harry may be planning brother Wills' last single soirée, we suspect these two famed partiers will make sure there is plenty of fun to go around (remember, William was famous for wearing just a loin-cloth to his African-themed 21st birthday party, much to his family's shock, and he's been pretty tanked at several bashes since then).
How crazy can it get? Pretty damn crazy, if the party is left to Harry.
Which is exactly why Prince William has banned his brother from planning the bachelor bash.
Seems Harry's recent antics (he was seen last weekend stumbling out of a burlesque show at 3:30 am) are making Wills question baby bro's send-off planning capabilities.
Instead, William is said to have insisted upon a more private and mature weekend away.
But where could this idea have come from?
Certainly not from William himself, since the balding Brit used to school Harry in getting crazy, but, since he's been attempting to do the more concerned big-bro thing.
Also, perhaps the lovely Kate had a few mellow suggestions for her future hubby?
She did, after all, name her sister, Pippa, as maid of honor and official bachelorette planner. And knowing this humble gal, there will hardly be any kind of hard partying before she officially takes her tiara.
So if neither William nor Kate get to let loose before the big day, what will the couple do after the hoopla?
Royal wedding fanatics, pack your bags, because William and Kate will be just across the bordertaking a royal tour of Canada!
No time will be wasted before thrusting Kate into her new life, as the trip will take place just weeks after the wedding.
As for the rest of the details, all of us are still dying over knowing who the mysterious dress designer is.
Give us a hint Kate! Or you might see some Americans royally ticked off.

Johns latest target Sandra! exclaims the headline of an In Touch story, which tries to linkJohn Mayer to Sandra Bullock.
Yes, you read that correctly.
According to the tabloid, John is trying hard to get fixed up with Sandra.
But the mag says its only because he has an ulterior motive. He wants to repair his reputation, and he thinks that dating Americas Sweetheart will do the trick.
Uh huh
In Touch notes Bullock was flattered that Mayer wanted to go out with her, but ultimately turned him down because shes looking for a relationship and not just a booty call.
Got it.
Heres whats right: The spelling of their names.
Heres whats wrong: Everything else.
No such thing ever happened.
Mayer, says a source connected to the singer, did not target Bullock. Its bulls**t, adds the insider.
Canuck TV watchdog resists calls for Netflix Canada to be brought into its regulatory orbit.
OTTAWA - Canadas TV watchdog has come out against regulating Netflix as online broadcaster. Its not broadcasting, within the Broadcasting Act, Konrad von Finckenstein, chairman of the CRTC, said ahead of an industry summit Friday to deal with Netflix's Canadian expansion.
Local film and TV execs looking to protect their industrys chin against the U.S. video streaming giant want the CRTC to deem Netflix Canada an online broadcaster that must support Canadian production. But von Finckenstein pointed to a 2010 Canadian appeals court decision as grounds to conclude Netflix just distributes content online and plays no active role in the content.
Thats a definition that satisfies Netflix, which argues its Canadian streaming video subscription service is an aggregator and a distributor of content, streaming films and TV shows over the Internet, according to spokesman Steve Swasey. He adds Netflix Canada already benefits the Canadian industry by providing an outstanding way for Canadian-produced content to reach a broader audience, including indie Canadian films.
The CRTCs von Finckenstein added legislative changes will be required before Netflix or other U.S. digital platforms spilling into the Canadian market could be considered online broadcasters.
The Canadian industry players gathered in Ottawa for an annual gathering of indie producers are hoping to convince the CRTC that, if Netflix isnt an online broadcaster, it points to a new model for video distribution that needs to be brought into the local regulatory framework.

During the final round of Hollywood auditions last night, John Wayne Schulz confidently took to the stage, guitar in hand, and dedicated his rendition of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" to his mother, who was in the audience.
He gave is a simple, country spin, earning a brief duet with Jennifer Lopez, as that judge sung along with Schulz for a few seconds. That's always a good sign for any contestant. Watched John Wayne in action and sound off: He has to be among the top contenders at this point, right?
Cheap Package Holidays From Travel Agents A Turn Off
Cheap Package Holidays From Travel Agents A Turn Off
Leading holiday firms are watching in amazement as they see their customer base dwindle due to the amount of holidaymakers now turning to the Internet to book their family holidays.
Travel Agents have been harping on about their profits not being as big as they were two years ago but they do not seem to be doing anything about it according to our travel expert, Diane Walker.
Diane Walker said: There has been lots of reports that travel agents will be reducing their package holiday prices but there is no sight of that happening yet and instead prices having staying put or even on occasions increasing in price, making it harder for families to have a holiday abroad.
It has been reported that leading travel agents have been stuck with over 60,000 holidays that they are unable to sell and according to a recent news story, travel firms will be having a huge sale, but there does not seem to be any difference in price with high street travel agents making us believe that this is just a marketing ploy to try and off load the thousands of unsold holidays at the same price they have been selling them all along.
After our research, we have found that instead of the holidays being reduced, we have found holidays with leading travel agents staying at the same price and in some respects increasing in price, which includes holidays to Lanzarote in October of this year.
Travel Agents have been complaining for some time now that they are finding it hard to compete against online travel agents and companies offering cheap flights, but even though they have seen a decrease in the number of holidays being sold, it seems the travel agents are sticking to their guns and hoping they can still offload these holidays without giving to much of a discount.
Holiday makers have now become wise and are avoiding the high street travel agent to book their holidays online, where they are finding if they book a separate flight online and book a hotel direct, they can save hundreds on the overall package price.
We have found by comparing 20 holidays being offered by leading travel agents for a family of four in destinations that include Benidorm, Lanzarote and Turkey, that on average we could save £820 by booking the holiday separate and this including luggage allowance and transfers meaning the high street travel agent really needs to understand they are no longer the only point of contact when it comes to a family booking a holiday.
We spoke to a travel advisor for one of the biggest High Street travel agents who said: I have noticed in our shop that we are not seeing the same faces that we see year in year out and I put this down to more people now using the internet to book their holiday. Even with my discount I have found that I can book holidays a lot cheaper on the Internet than what my company can offer and this does worry me.
She continued: With the large number of holidays being unsold and the huge decrease that I have seen with customers coming into our shop I am worried for the future of the High Street travel agent, unless we do something soon, I fear redundancies will be on the cards. We really need to start competing with online travel agents to get our customers back.
We asked 100 people how they have booked there holiday this year and we were not surprised by the result.
57% said they have booked their holiday online with online travel agents
30% said they booked their holiday with high street travel agents
10% said they have booked direct with British Holiday parks
3% said they could not afford a holiday this year with rising prices
Our survey shows that the trend for booking holidays online is increasing with more and more people looking to save money by booking separate flights and hotels, which in turn is bad news for the High Street Travel Agents.
Unfortunately it does not seem likely that the High Street travel agents are going to start competing any time soon, which means it is good news for online travel agents and online flights agents who are seeing an increase in profits with more people avoid the high street travel agents.
Kobe Bryant is hosting an ULTRA-exclusive Hollywood party during All-Star weekend -- but TMZ has learned everyone in the VIP section must pass a "screening process" before they'll be allowed near the NBA superstar Saturday night.
The party is supposed to be INSANE -- with organizers dropping roughly $50,000 to give Boulevard 3 nightclub an Asian-themed makeover in honor of Kobe enshrining his hands and feet at Grauman's Chinese Theater earlier that day.
But not just any schmuck with a wad of cash will be allowed to get all schmoozy with Kobe -- party organizers tell us they will have a vigorous screening process for anyone who wants to purchase a VIP table near Kobe's private section.
And for the fans who can't cross the VIP rope ... we're told there will be plenty of other cool stuff at the party -- including a 15-foot custom made dragon.
Lindsay Lohan could go to jail for more than a year for allegedly stealing that necklace ... and it could happen without a jury, without a trial .... without grand theft charges even being pursued.
After doing some investigating, we discovered the D.A. could drop the felony grand theft case completely. But that wouldn't end Lindsay's legal woes -- not by a long shot.
Prosecutor Danette Meyers could go back to court and ask the judge to violate Lindsay's DUI probation ... on grounds she stole the necklace.
The judge in the probation case could then hold a hearing -- without a jury -- to determine if Lindsay did indeed pilfer the jewelry.
Now here's the big problem for Lindsay. In a criminal case, the D.A. must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt -- in other words, convincing a jury that there's a 98 to 99% chance that she did the deed.
But in a probation violation case, all the judge has to decide is that it's more likely than not that she stole the jewelry -- in other words, that there's a 50.1% chance she did it.
Sources connected with the D.A.'s office tell us ... prosecutors believe they could ask for more than 1 year in jail if the judge decides Lindsay violated her probation.
And one final piece of bad news. It's very possible if the D.A. dismissed the grand theft case, the probation violation matter would go back to Judge Elden Fox in Beverly Hills, who has totally lost patience with Lindsay.

According to the National Enquirer, while Scarlett Johansson and Matt Damon playfully wrestled over a water bottle during a break from shooting We Bought a Zoo, an orangutan whos co-starring with them suddenly went BANANAS!
The tab goes on to claim that the grouchy gorilla, whos apparently taken quite a monkey-shine to Scarlett since filming began, got jealous and angry when Matt started grabbing at her, and pelted the Oscar winner with APE DOO-DOO!
If the supermarket rag had simply spent as much time fact-checking as it did coming up with primate puns, it wouldnt have printed this to borrow a phrase poop.
This monkey business never happened.
In addition to not even having an orangutan in the movie, a rep for the film tells Gossip Cop, No such event occurred on the set of We BoughTweett A Zoo.
These kind of fabricated stories makes us go ape s**t!
Hmm, is this Vanessa Hudgens' message to Zac Efron that she's happy being free perhaps?
The actress managed to find time between all her fashion show hopping to hit New York's East Village, where she got stamped with a giant blue bitterfly tattoo on her tiny neck.
East Side Ink confirmed to E! News that the actress was in the Avenue B shop yesterday to get the ink, and that famed tat artist Keith "Bang Bang" McCurdy was the one that did the tattoo, which soon surfaced as twitpic courtesy of one of Vanessa's pals.
The shop is the same one that got slapped with a fine after they let Rihannatattoo an umbrella and an "R" onto some workers there in 2009. BangBang had tattooed a "Sssh" on the singer's finger and a gun on her ribcage.
As for Hudgens, she's been all over Fashion Week, obviously enjoying herself. When we caught up with her last night and asked her about Zac, she just laughed it off.

Appeals Court Allows No Doubt To Pursue 'Band Hero' Lawsuit Against Activision
Activision
This week is shaping up to be a big one in the ongoing struggle to figure out the difference between commercial and expressive speech, the times when entertainment companies can show public figures in the name of the First Amendment and the times when they can't due to violations of a celebrity's right to control their own publicity.
Just as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals was hearing an important case involving former NCAA athletes fighting Electronic Arts over use of their image in sports video games, the California Court of Appeals was weighing in on a similar dispute involving the band No Doubt and Activision Blizzard, makers of the game, "Band Hero." A panel of justices has given the go-ahead to the band to proceed with its lawsuit against Activision alleging publicity rights violations and breach of contract.
No Doubt originally sued Activision in 2009 after it was shocked to learn that "Band Hero" allowed game-players to "unlock" special features of the game and manipulate avatars to engage in unapproved acts, from having a Gwen Stefani virtual character perform the Rolling Stones' "Honky Tonk Woman" in a male voice to making band members do unrealistic dance moves. No Doubt asserted that its agreement with Activision granting publicity rights didn't cover these unanticipated features.
Activision countersued with an anti-SLAPP motion that argued No Doubt's lawsuit amounted to a chill of free speech.
As usual in these sorts of disputes, the question becomes whether the speech -- in this case, the game -- amounted to a "transformative use" of the celebrity's image, in which case it falls under First Amendment protection. The California Appeals Court says that Activision's use of No Doubt isn't sufficiently transformative, finding that the images in the game were nothing "more than literal, fungible reproductions of their likenesses."
The case may proceed to trial unless it is appealed further, which very may well depend on the outcome of those former NCAA athletes fighting Electronic Arts.
Yesterday, the justices at the Ninth Circuit heard arguments from the attorneys.
Kelli Sager, who is representing Electronic Arts, told the Ninth Circuit that courts should focus on works as a whole, not just individual elements, when examining the issue of what's transformative. She argued that video games are constitutionally protected works of expression.
"The First Amendment protects all kinds of expressive work," she said. "Video games, particularly one like this that have all these different elements, are also expressive work, and you're allowed to use names and people's likenesses in expressive work."
Steve Berman is representing the class of plaintiffs in the dispute and wants the Ninth Circuit to see video games as commercial items and focus on the nitty gritty when examining the exploitation of a celebrity in a video game.
"If you're using that person's identity to make money, that's not protected, that's theft of likeness," he told the panel. "If you're using the name Ghandi in an expressive film about the revolution there, that's protected, that's expressive...This game is not expressive. It's like the Wheaties box. They've taken the images from head to toe ...and put it in their game for commercial purposes."
Bruno Mars just formally pled guilty today to possession of a controlled substance.
Mars was in a Las Vegas courtroom with his lawyer, Blair Berk, when Mars pled guilty to felony cocaine possession, but if he stays out of trouble for 12 months, the charge will be dismissed -- as if it never happened.
Mars is also required to do 8 hours of private counseling and 200 hours of community service with a charitable organization. He must also pay a $2,000 fine -- which he's paying today ... because he has Bruno Mars money.
Berk tells TMZ, "We are very pleased that the prosecution has agreed to dismiss the charge."
As we previously reported, Bruno was arrested in September at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino after a bathroom attendant told security a man was doing coke in the bathroom.
Lindsay Lohan Letterman Appearance: Not Actually Happening, Booked By Impostor!
Lindsay Lohan Letterman Appearance: Not Actually Happening, Booked By Impostor!
This could be said about so many incidents, but what the heck goes on with Lindsay Lohan?! With this whack job, truth is always stranger than fiction.
Turns out she won't be reading the Late Show Top Ten list after all. Why? Because the person who booked Lohan to appear was not authorized to do so.
Yes, apparently Lindsay Lohan was booked by some impostor.
TEAM LOHAN: It's apparently a disorganized team.
"Lindsay Lohan will not be delivering a Top Ten list on Thursday's 'Late Show with David Letterman,' as had been previously announced," CBS says.
"We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay's reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her."
"Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf. We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future."
So who was it? Someone in a managerial capacity for Lohan who did this because of a miscommunication? Someone punking her and the Late Show?
We have no idea, but little surprises us in the Lohan Zone.
All Lindsay said on Twitter was: "I am NOT going to be doing David Letterman, I'm not sure how this happened, but I am sorry for the confusion..."
So are we. That would have been funny. Then again, so is this, and her being charged with theft for ganking a necklace and claiming she forgot.
Anderson Cooper has Tweeted out a response to the unsettling news about Lara Logan and her attack at the hands of Egyptian protesters.
The CNN anchor, who left the country soon after he and his crew were also assaulted while covering that nation's recent uprising, simply wrote: "Sickened and saddened by the attack on Lara Logan. She is in all of our thoughts and prayers.
Logan is a native of South Africa and has worked as the CBS Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent for years.
In the wake of this February 11 incident, she was flown home and hospitalized. She is now resting at home in the D.C. area with her husband and two kids.
Even though Billy Ray Cyrus revealed that his daughter Miley's Disney Channel show Hannah Montana 'destroyed' his family, Billy courageously met up with Mommy Tish at the Hipic Center on February 15. Hopefully, Noah is okay with the fallout of today's dramatic news. Miley is staying strong.
Justin Bieber has said that he is "honoured" that Glee featured his music in this week's episode.
The latest instalment of the Fox comedy saw Sam (Chord Overstreet) attempting to win Quinn's (Dianna Agron) affections by performing two Bieber tracks.
Writing on his official Facebook account before the episode aired, the teenager said: "They are doing some of my songs on GLEE... Chord we gotta work on that dancing. lol. But honestly truly honoured that GLEE is going to do my stuff. Thanks and enjoy the show (sic)."
The 'Baby' star is currently in London for the premiere of his debut movie Never Say Never, and also attended Tuesday night's Brit Awards where he picked up the prize for 'Best International Breakthough Artist'.
He later joked on Twitter: "I got so nervous up there and couldn't remember anything! Lol. I did get to kiss Cheryl Cole and Rihanna on my way to stage. #swag... lol."
Never Say Never is playing in US cinemas now and opens in the UK on February 18.
Hey, Tori Spelling! Is That A Baby Bump? asks HollywoodLife, a site known for childishly posing many questions, yet rarely knowing the answers.
The blog notes Spelling was spotted yesterday at her new Los Angeles store InvenTORI sporting what appears to be a baby bump!
HollywoodLife then muddies the water with older quotes from Spelling and husband Dean McDermott, saying how they would one day like to expand their family.
The couple currently have two children together, Liam and Stella.
So, is Spelling now expecting a third child?
Nope.
A rep for the star tells Gossip Cop that reports claiming shes pregnant are not true.

LA BREA - Taylor Lautner was having lunch at the famed La Brea Tar Pits Diner when he was asked why he had made such lewd remarks about Kristen Stewart and Vanessa Hudgens.
Lautner, who is currently datingLily Collins, the daughter of music icon Gary Collins, replied that it was not really him who had made the remarks.
When asked by Bedroom Pillow Talks' Metzenbaum Kassenbaum, who then was it who had made them, Lautner blushed and replied, that it was his old long time friend from Mexico Jose Cuervo.
[EDITOR'S NOTE:As in Jose Cuervo Tequila who seems to be one 'Hombre' who sure goes around saying a lot of stuff that comes out of the mouths of a lot of guys.]
Metzka (Kassenbaum) asked Lautner if he didn't feel that it was a 'cop out' to blame alcohol for remarks that had come out of his own mouth.
Taylor became somewhat upset and told Kassenbaum that apparently he had not heard him and that it was the friggin tequila that was doing all of the talking and not him.
Lautner hit his fist and said that all he was, was just the effen messenger.
He then told Kassenbaum that he was through talking and that he wanted for him to print in Bedroom Pillow Talk that he was sorry for having made those dumb, stupid, lewd remarks about Krissy and Vanny.
He added that he was just mad that the two had decided to befriend Ron Jeremy and have him convince both of them to appear in his X-rated movie The Twillington Twins Traipse All Over Tokyo.
Lautner said that Jeremy has a reputation for having made over 2,000 porn films and that just because his nickname is "9.75" he thinks that he's better than most other guys.
Ellen DeGeneres revealed on her talk show that Taylor Lautner will soon be traveling to Bombay, India, where he will co-star with Magnolia "The Snapdragon" Finkerbiffin one of the world's leading female porn stars in the Martello Pellagrini film 'Facebook Foreplay - Twitter Taco Tickling.'

In an article Cineuropa.org site devoted to sales of movies produced by Protagonist Pictures at the Berlinale 2011, we learn that Bel Ami will be ready for the Festival de Cannes or Venice.
In addition, the project that have engaged Uma Thurman and Robert Pattinson, an adaptation of the novel by Guy de Maupassant Bel Ami, will be ready for Cannes or Venice. Rights have been sold to Studio Canal Plus in France and Germany and Optimum for the United Kingdom.
The International Film Festival in Venice runs from August 31 to September 10 and the selection announced in July. In case the film would not be presented at Cannes, it is legitimate to think that will be offered the choice of Venice. Remains whether the conditions to be proposed for selection are the same as for Cannes, ie no diffusion in a country other than the original one. If so, expect to see the films release date pushed back again. We will know more next April, the month in which the films will be officially announced for the selection at Cannes.

Lady Gaga can't remember her post-Grammys party because she was 'drunky Gaga'
Lady Gaga can't remember her post-Grammys party because she was 'drunky Gaga'.
The singer scooped three accolades at the ceremony on Sunday night (13.02.11) and confessed she toasted her victories with several alcoholic drinks.
When quizzed on how she celebrated her success on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno', she said: ' don't remember very much, I know it was fun, I do remember being called drunky Gaga at some point.'
The eccentric pop superstar also revealed the 'egg' she was brought to the ceremony in and 'hatched' out of on stage was actually a vessel.
She explained: 'Well Hussein Chalayan who designed it said, 'Make sure you tell everyone it's a vessel.' I said. 'OK I will.' I was in there for three days, it was temperature controlled.'
The 24-year-old artist also sent her team into a panic just two days before her performance of 'Born This Way' at the Grammys because she decided to change everyone's stage outfits.
She said: ' designed all the clothes for myself and for the dancers and two days before the performance I changed everything because I didn't like the clothing. I felt so bad because the House of Gaga was up all night and red eyed and I was like, 'I hate it. We have to change everything.' And they were like, 'OK.'
'The problem was they looked like dancers in the outfits we had and I'm so close with everyone that's in the House of Gaga, like Laurieann Gibson my choreographer, all the creatives and we're all so close that I don't want the band and the dancers to feel like the band and the dancers behind me because really the performance of 'Born This Way' is about all of them it's about togetherness.'

Justin Bieber may be resting easier tonight.
The 16-year-old phenom, who admitted to being disappointed by his Grammy loss for Best New Artist on Sunday, salvaged his week by leaving London with the Brit Award for Best International Breakthrough Act.
He had to beat Bruno Mars and the cast of Glee to get that!
And Bieber wasn't the only Grammy refugee to be honored overseas...
Rihanna started out the night in a multicolored, seemingly Cee Lo Green-inspired party dress that immediately had us hankering for slushies and cotton candy, and later quickened pulses by performing in a red rose-inspired mini with a dramatic train. The "Only GIrl in the World" singer was subsequently named Best International Female Solo Artist.
Cee Lo Green, meanwhile, was named Best International Male Solo Artist, but he was practically unrecognizable, having apparently left the plumage and puppets in the U.S. Instead, he wore a black and white Adidas track suit on the red carpet and a lounge-singer style white dinner jacket onstage. But at least his jacket was trimmed in red.
The Arcade Fire, still glowing after their Album of the Year Grammy (yet now having to deal with all the "who are they?" remarks from the hoi polloi), was named Best International Group and The Suburbs was deemed Best International Album.
"Check it out on Google," frontman Win Butler advised whomever is still unacquainted with his band.
Homegrown quartet Mumford & Sons, which made a triumphant Grammy debut performing with Bob Dylan and the Avett Brothers but lost out on two awards (Esperanza Spalding beat them, too), won Best British Album of the Year for their debut effort, Sigh No More.
"We're very honored, very humbled," Marcus Mumford said in thanks.
The alt-folk rockers lost Best British Group, however, to none other than Robbie Williams and fellow '80s dance-pop hitmakers Take That. So there!
But despite the ocean-crossing star power in the room, perhaps the most exciting gent of the night was 22-year-old rapper Tinie Tempah, who won Best British Breakthrough Act and Best Single for "Pass Out," off of his debut album, Disc-Overy. He dedicated his wins to "U.K. music, peace and love."
Lady Gaga had designers up all night for Grammy costumes
Lady Gaga had designers up all night for Grammy costumes
London, Feb 16: Pop icon Lady Gaga caused her fashion designers to stay up all night preparing costumes for her Grammy performance.
The singer threw her design team into a panic in the run-up to her performance at the Grammy Awards - as she scrapped all the costumes two days before the ceremony because she didn''t like them.
The ''Poker Face'' hitmaker played her recent single, ''Born This Way, live for the first time at the prizegiving.
She admitted that her own sci-fi inspired look during the set and the nude-coloured outfits her dancers sported onstage were last minute decisions causing her fashion designers at Haus of Gaga to stay up all night preparing the costumes.
"I actually designed all the clothes for myself and the dancers, and it was two days before the performance, I changed everything because I didn''t like the clothing," the Daily Star quoted her as saying in an interview.
"And I felt so bad because the Haus of Gaga was all red-eyed and up all night and I would be like, ''I hate it, we have to change everything!'' And they would be like (squeaking), ''OK, OK,''" she said.
But Gaga insisted she only changed her mind at short notice because she wanted everyone to look part of one big team to emphasise the meaning behind ''Born This Way.''
She said, "You know because they looked like dancers in the outfits we had and I''m so close with them, and Laurieann Gibson, my choreographer, everyone that''s in the Haus of Gaga, all the creators, we''re so close, everyone in the band, and I don''t want them to feel like, the band and dancers behind me, because the performance of ''Born This Way'' is nothing without all of them, it''s about togetherness." It destroyed my family. Ill tell you right now the damn show destroyed my family, the country singer tells GQ in an explosive interview.
Cyrus, who earlier this year filed for divorce from Tish, his wife of 13 years, says he wishes the show had never happened.
Id take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just be everybody okay, safe and sound and happy and normal, would have been fantastic, he laments.
I was going to work every single day knowing that my family had fallen apart, but yet I had to sit in front of that camera, adds Cyrus, who also starred on the hit series.
He says he took the blame for Mileys scandals, such as the infamous bong incident and the racy Vanity Fair photo shoot, because Im her daddy, and thats what daddies do, but he confesses hes now scared for his daughter.
Shes got a lot of people around her thats putting her in a great deal of danger, says the Achy Breaky Heart singer, who was unhappy she held 18th birthday at a bar.
I should have said, Enough is enough its getting dangerous and somebodys going to get hurt . . . Honestly, I didnt know the ball was out of bounds until it was way up in the stands somewhere.
Check out this new image of Gaga used to promote Born This Way. The photo is being as part of an international campaign to promote the new album, and was recently spotted all over California and New York.
O.J. Simpson was attacked by a white supremacist in a prison yard, claims the National Enquirer; however, the story is NOT true.
The Enquirer reports that the former football great was brutally beaten by a skinhead at Lovelock Correctional Center, where he is currently serving a sentence for armed robbery.
Inmates cheered as a muscular young skinhead knocked him to the ground, punching and kicking him to a bloody pulp and inflicting injuries so severe he secretly spent nearly three weeks in the infirmary before he recovered, writes the tab.
The alleged incident grew out of the former Heisman trophy winner reportedly bragging about his sexual conquests of beautiful white women.
A spokesman for the Nevada Department of Corrections, however, tells Gossip Cop theres no truth to the Enquirer report, adding that there was no incident at all and O.J.s fine and healthy.
Hayden Panettiere Talks About Controversial Amanda Knox Movie
Hayden Panettiere Talks About Controversial Amanda Knox Movie
Actress Hayden Panettiere stars in The Amanda Knox Story, a Lifetime movie about American exchange student Amanda Knox, who was convicted of mudering Meredith Kercher by an Italian court. The family of the murder viction is opposed to the film. Lawyers for Amanda Knox are also very unhappy about the film being made.
Hayden says the film is "done in a really classy way." She also says it is very interesting to see both sides of the story. She also says what they did to Amanda Knox was "horrific." She says she feels very sympathetic to what Amanda Knox had to go through. Take a look:
On her home life: "Our house is a really happy house. There are kids running around and laughing and joking. I smile so much more than people would think."
On being comfortable in her own skin: "For the first time, I feel like what you see is what you get. This is me: the more natural hair, the slightly more relaxed way of dressing. I feel really content personally and professionally. I'm not freaked out about getting older. I'm growing older with the most amazing man I've ever met with my soul mate. Life's great."
On her diet and exercise: "I'm not one of those people who can't eat carbs. I eat a lot. I do. I run four miles a day on the treadmill. I know that works for me, so I've kind of trained myself. I do lift weights. I'm not very good at soccer."

Its been a good weekend for those involved in musical contributions for The Twilight Saga, and now we have even more great news: Alexandre Desplat, the composer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon has won the Anthony Asquith Award for Film Music award for his work on the recent film The Kings Speech! Congrats Alexandre!
If you missed it, check out our weekend coverage of The Grammys HERE in which three of our Twilight Saga soundtrack contributors took home awards.
Have any of you seen The Kings Speech? If so, do you think Alexandres composition deserves the award he took home?
The occasionally bleeped telecast averaged awhopping 26.6 million viewers, up a tick from last year, and, per CBS, the biggest Grammy audience in 10 yearsor, the last time Eminem was majorly upset in the Album of the Year category.
The show did best among the Mick Jagger- and Barbra Streisand-aged crowd; it was weakest among teen boys, who clearly didn't know their hated Bieber was going to go down to defeat.
As for the reviews, they weren't all bad.
The New Yorker, for one, decided the show washigh-praise alert!"not bad." And Vanity Fair thought the Oscars could even learn some lessons from the telecast.
Oh, we surely hope James Franco is planning to get his Gaga on.
Ever wonder where some of Lady Gaga's more wild ideas come from? (*cough cough* arriving at the Grammys in an egg)? She's no doubt naturally creative, but she gets a little help from the outside, too.
Sitting down with Anderson Cooper for a "60 Minutes" interview, Gaga admitted to a certain frequent indiscretion.
"I still smoke a lot of pot when I write music," she said. "So I'm not gonna, like, sugar coat it for '60 Minutes' that I'm some, like, sober human being, 'cause I'm not."
It's an honest admission from the artist, who so often bears her soul for the world to see. During her Grammy acceptance speech, her voice wavered as she thanked her family and friends for all the help.
Gaga opened up much more in the interview, talking about her family, career -- and what men call her in bed. And, to boot, she got her interviewer drunk.
It was quite the spectacle when Snooki and Sway took over MTV News' red-carpet coverage at last night's Grammy Awardsbut nothing was more spectacular than the moment when Snooki and Miley Cyrus became instant besties, right on camera. The "Jersey Shore" star and pop-country princess ran into each other before the show began, and what ensued was no less than a total love-fest.
Spotting Snooki during her interview with Sway, Miley broke off mid-thought to shriek, "OH MY GOD IT'S SNOOKI! You're my favorite person ever!"
Fortunately, Sway was savvy enough to step aside and make way for some epic girl-crush gushing:
Snooki: You look amazing! Miley: I love your sparkles, you're feeling the sparkles! I was talking to Pauly about how much I love you, and how my makeup artist and I are obsessed with you. Snooki: Your makeup is freaking amazing! Miley: She wants to do your makeup so bad! Snooki: What are you doing after this? Miley: We need to hang!
And there you have it: Miley Cyrus and Snooki are totally BFFs. But after another round of complimentary one-upping ("I love your dress!" "I love YOU!" "I LOVE YOU TOO!"), things get just a little awkward when Snooki asks if Miley is still planning on dressing like her for Halloween...and Miley hesitates a moment before confessing that actually, she's going to go as Fran Fine from "The Nanny" this year.
Awww. And things were going so well.
Got any predictions on the longevity of the Snooki-Miley lovefest?
Whoâs That Girl?: Eminem & Dr. Dreâs Grammy Collaborator Skylar Grey
Whos That Girl?: Eminem & Dr. Dres Grammy Collaborator Skylar Grey
LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Skylar Grey was the unsung hero of the Eminem-Rihanna-Dr. Dre collaboration at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night, singing in the shadows as the Detroit rappers performance turned from Love the Way You Lie to I Need A Doctor, but she loved every minute of it.
It was amazing, the Wisconsin-bred singer/songwriter told reporters backstage at the music awards ceremony. Ive never played on a stage that big with an audience that vast.
Still, the pretty brunette said she had no qualms about performing in front of a worldwide audience of millions on the Grammy stage alongside some of musics elite.
I wasnt that nervous, actually, she said.
Skylar actually wrote Rihannas part in Love The Way You Lie, and she hinted that her lyrics were inspired by Eminems rhymes.
It was pretty [much] what Eminem wrote his verses about, she said of the chorus. Not as extreme, but same concept.
Skylar also penned the refrain she sang in Dr. Dres I Need A Doctor, having met both Dre and Eminem through her work with Alex Da Kid. Additionally, she co-wrote Diddy Dirty Moneys current hit, Coming Home.
I wrote the chorus to Love The Way You Lie and then he asked me to come and work on Dr. Dres album too, she explained backstage.
Skylar, a newcomer to the Grammys, explained her background to reporters backstage at the event.
I was born in Wisconsin and I started performing at age 6, performing with my mom, we had a little duo and I started writing songs with lyrics around 14, Skylar recounted. By the time I was 15, I had three independent albums
[I] dropped out of high school, moved to LA when I was 17, got a record deal and they didnt really know what to do with me, she laughed.
As for her future, now that Skylars been exposed to millions, her plans remain the same.
Im working on solo material right now with Alex, she added.
Chelsea Clinton & Marc Mezvinsky: Together, Happy!
Chelsea Clinton & Marc Mezvinsky: Together, Happy!
It there's trouble in paradise, newlyweds Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky weren't showing it at amfAR's annual New York Gala at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC.
The AIDS research foundation honored Chelsea's father, former President Bill Clinton, and the notoriously private couple went out on the town for the occasion.
Here's the longtime couple at the event, looking happy as ever ...
Chelsea and Marc at the event late last week.
This followed weeks of rumors that Clintons husband of less than a year had left her after he quit his investment banking job and went to Wyoming to ski.
Recent reports claimed their marriage was over, albeit not officially, after Marc walked out on Chelsea following a blowout fight about starting a family.
Chelsea and Marc denied the rumors, and after seeing the pair together in happy, it looks like this might have been nothing more than that. Rumors.
It's very possible Marc was burned out and needed time off from work, while Chelsea was just too busy to go to Wyoming. Let's hope that's all it was!
Once again, Justin Bieber fans have taken their love of this artist to a disturbing extreme.
For the third time - first, regarding Kim Kardashian; then, in reaction to Justin's relationship with Selena Gomez - Beliebers have actually issued death threats against someone with whom they take issue.
In response to Esperanza Spalding taking home the Best New Artist Grammy last night, Bieber followers edited the singer's Wikipedia page to include such horrific entries as "JUSTIN BIEBER DESERVED IT GO DIE IN A HOLE." The page has since been scrubbed clean, but here's a look at it from last night:
Fans would do well to follow the reaction of their idol, who Tweeted after the event:
Its been & still is a dream to win a grammy. Was I upset...yes. But I was happy for her also. Someone said to me tonight its not your successes that define u but your failures. I lost..but I don't plan on this being my last chance.
It's also difficult to argue with Spalding's talent. Just listen to THIS PERFORMANCE she gave at the White House. Rather incredible, isn't she?
If the First Lady of the United States were asked to consolidate her Valentine's Day advice in one word, Michelle Obama's choice would be easy: Laugh.
She says it's what she and President Barack Obama do, and it seems to work.
Through all the ups and downs and changes wrought by family, careers, relocation, campaigns and more, the Obamas' marriage is going on 19 years.
"I think a lot of laughing," the First Lady said this weekend at a White House luncheon with reporters who asked about the secret to the Obamas' union.
"I think in our house we don't take ourselves too seriously, and laughter is the best form of unity, I think, in a marriage. We still find ways to have fun."
"A lot of it is private and personal. But we keep each other smiling and that's good," Michelle Obama added, saying that Barack is "very romantic."
"Got to keep the romance alive, even in the White House," she said.
After skipping out on the red carpet, Beyonce Knowles was spotted inside the Staples Center venue in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (February 13).
The If I Were A Boy singer looked glamorous in black as she greeted fellow Grammy Awards attendees including Gwyneth Paltrow, Usher and Janelle Monae.
Beyonce was up for two Grammy awards this year for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her single Halo" and for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for Lady Gagas Telephone - which she is featured in.
Unfortunately, Miss Knowles went home empty-handed after taking home multiple trophies the previous year.
Enjoy the pictures of Beyonce at the 2011 Grammy Awards (February 13).
He had a killer performance with Usher and Jaden Smith at last nights Grammy Awards, but Justin Bieber ended up losing the Best New Artist Grammy to Esperanza Spalding.
And the One Less Lonely Girl singer wasnt afraid to express his disappointment over the loss.
He told MTV, "I had no clue what was going to happen; I worked really hard these past few years and you know, I'm not going to lie I was disappointed." Bieber told MTV News
Keeping his chin up, Justin added, "But, you know, I'm gonna come back [next year] and we'll take a few home."
Of his performance, Bieber shared, "I got a standing O, which was amazing. Usher and Jayden did incredible, and I'm really excited. Tonight was an amazing night."

There were so many unexpected moments at last night's 53rd Annual Grammy Awards that are bound to go down in the history books (hello, Lady Gaga's egg!) that the Twitterverse exploded with talk of the memorable ceremony. With an array of amazing performances to choose from, it seems Cee Lo Green's duet with Gwyneth Paltrow (and puppets!) of "Forget You" (pictured) got the most love from viewers. Amongst its famous fans were Emma Roberts, who tweeted, "Gwyneth Paltrow #myhero #epic" and Austin Nichols, who posted, "#Grammys I gotta say, Cee Lo and Gwyneth Paltrow, Muppet back-up singers. Sick. I love you, Gwyneth." Kim Kardashian joined the chorus of those who dug the number, as she wrote from her page, "My fav part of the night was Gwenyth Paltrow! Her performance with CeeLo was crazy! And her jumpsuit was amaze." Meanwhile, Carson Daly had a fine idea for the soul singer and the Oscar winner/"Glee" guest star, "I sorta wanna see the gweneth/cee lo green sitcom. They're roomates and break into song at breakfast."
While Cee Lo somehow walked home empty-handed from the Grammys, indie rockers Arcade Fire most certainly didn't, as they snagged the night's biggest prize, Album of the Year. The win may have been an upset, but nobody seemed too upset about it on Twitter, including the band members themselves, who excitedly told followers, "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. Thank you EVERYONE." They weren't alone in their joy. Case in point: gracious Grammy losers like Paramore's leading lady Hayley Williams who told the group, "So proud and happy for Arcade Fire!! Wow wow wow" and Maroon 5's front man Adam Levine had his faith restored when he rejoiced, "Arcade fire won album of the year. There is a GOD!"

Between J.Hud's sleek look, Florence's offbeat but beautiful swan, Selena's classic look, Nic's surprising stunner and Lea's sexy gown, these celebs brought the glam to the red carpet. Which star hit the highest note?
Charlie Sheen blasted the people behind "Two and a Half Men" on a live radio interview today -- claiming THEY are to blame for the current stoppage in production ... because HE'S ready to work!
A raspy -sounding Charlie called in to "The Dan Patrick Show" this morning and explained he lost his voice because he tried to go back to work ... and was yelling and banging on the stage door ... but nobody was there.
Sheen explained, "[The execs] said 'You get ready and we'll get ready' ... and I got ready and went back and nobody was there ... I don't know what to tell ya."
He added, "I'm here and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it."
In fact, sources connected to the show tell TMZ the plan is for Charlie to get better -- which is why the show went on hiatus in the first place -- and then production will resume on Feb. 28.

Someone alert the American Medical Association, because we've just discovered another side effect of Bieber Fever: an inability to lose graciously.
As the world knows by now, jazz artist Esperanza Spalding beat out some notable contenders to take home the Best New Artist award at the Grammys last nightnone more notable than Justin Bieber.
So what did the Bieber faithful do in response? Shrug their shoulders? Mouth "who?" at the TV screen? Tweet congratulations to Esperanza? Hack into her Wikipedia page and edit in a slew of mean girl amendments in a classic case of junior high revenge? Ding, ding, ding.
Not long after Spalding made her way off the podium, and the collective eyebrow raise had once again been lowered, did Bieber's minions (working on no command from their fearless leader, it must be said), headed en masse to the Wikipedia page of the 26-year-old and turned the best day of her life into something else entirely.
So what mature, measured and well-articulated tweaks did they make to her page? Oh, you know
"JUSTIN BIEBER DESERVED IT GO DIE IN A HOLE. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU ANYWAY?" read one change.
"SHE IS F--KING REATARD THAT NO ONE HAS HEARD OF SO BITCH PLEASE DIE!" read another.
"Recently, she won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist at the 53rd Grammy Awards by stealing it from Justin Bieber once again proving how little the awards mean," went yet a different tweak.
Others changed her middle name alternately to either "Justin" or "Quesadilla." You get the idea.
However, not everyone who took to Spalding's page last night (and early this morning) were after Esperanza.
"Bieber fans have recently hacked this page because they have nothing better to do with their lives," read an early morning edit.
True, Spalding does not yet have a hit documentary to her name, but on that last point, we can think of one person who might argue. PresidentBarack Obamahimself handpicked the classically trained musician to perform in Oslo when he picked up his 2009 Nobel Prize. He obviously liked what he heard: she was invited to the White House the same year to perform during a poetry jam hosted by the president and Michelle Obama.
So, let's weigh this fan base thing up: the ruler of the free world, vs. a bunch of angry, moody free time-accumulating teens. Yep, Esperanza's the winner, all right.
As for Bieber, he seems just peachy, if a tad disappointed, with his loss.
"Of course I wanted to win," he tweeted. "Its been & still is a dream to win a grammy. Was I upset yes. But I was happy for her also." As evidenced by his backstage congratulatory message.
