Gary Moore, renowned guitarist for Thin Lizzy and other groups, has died.
He was 58.
Moore was found in his hotel room in Estepona, Spain. The cause of death is not yet known.
In addition to his work with Thin Lizzy, Belfast-born Moore enjoyed a successful solo career and worked with artists including George Harrison, Ginger Baker and Ozzy Osbourne

The Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers may be basking in the limelight of the biggest football weekend of the year but they're not the only ones playing ball. And they certainly don't have Hayden Panettiere on their teams.
Celebs like Panettiere, Matthew Morrison (as an assistant coach) and Jerry Ferrara took to the field in Dallas on Saturday for a star-studded game of flag football, hosted by DIRECTV.
The Celebrity Beach Bowl pinned stars like Glee's Chord Overstreet, Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr and Chace Crawford who were on Team Spike agains, True Blood's Joe Manganiello and Josh Duhamel, who made Team Palladia.
Scream 4's Panettiere, 21, snagged the title as the "Most Inspirational Player," while Entourage's Ferrara, 31, beat out all of his teammates, including former NFL players, to win "Most Valuable Player" of the game. Both played the sand-filled field for the champion Team Spike, which was coached by Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy.
"I won an award for football!" Panettiere tells PEOPLE. "It has to be because the ball hit me in the face."

Panettiere wasn't the only leading lady proving football wasn't a boys-only sport: Szohr scored a touchdown for her team and model Marisa Miller, last year's MVP, dove for catches and chased her opponents down the field.
Despite the competition, there were no hard feelings for the losing team, and most of the celeb football stars hit the nearby W Hotel for a luxury lounge after-party while Maroon 5 entertained the post-game party at Victory Park.
Plus, there's always next season, according to Duhamel, who was on the not-so-victorious Team Palladia.
"We lost but this was a lot of fun," he says. "I'll definitely do this again next year."
Shia LaBeouf got in a bar fight Friday night and was placed in handcuffs, but was eventually released.
Hanging out at one of his favorite watering holes, the Mad Bulls Tavern in Sherman Oaks, California, things got a little out of hand and Shia was punched in the face by a local patron.
Sources close to the star say that he was jumped on his way out of the bar.
Police arrived shortly after and everyone involved were placed in handcuffs.
Luckily for Shia, he was soon let go and no arrest record was made.
Wowsa. We're not sure what went down, but it does seem like Shia has a bit of a temper, doesn't he??
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps star Shia LaBeouf was briefly handcuffed and released in the wee hours of Saturday morning after an alleged bar fight, UsMagazine.com has confirmed.
An eyewitness to the altercation at Mad Bull's Tavern in Sherman Oaks, Calif., tells Us the actor, 24, was taunted by a fellow patron inside the bar before being "sucker punched in the mouth" when their conversation was taken outside. A second eyewitness reports singer Ashlee Simpson was also at Mad Bull's Saturday, but her proximity to the fight is not known.
When reached for comment, Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Taylor of the Van Nuys division confirms the patrons picking on LaBeouf "fled" before police arrived.
"It was just boys being boys. Things got really out of hand and it didn't have to go down the way it did," Mad Bull's Tavern owner Richard DiSisto tells Us. "No one needed or should have gotten hurt, things could have been dealt with in an entirely different way."
The actor's weekend incident -- initially reported by HollyScoop.com -- is not his first brush with the law. Though the charges were later dropped, LaBeouf was arrested in Hollywood on suspicion of drunk driving in July 2008.
Reports suggest that RiRi will team up with Will.I.Am to add some star power to the 17-year-olds album, due in August.
The Whats My Name stars admiration for Cher came after she saw her perform on The X Factor, an insider told the Daily Star. Rihanna is a big fan of Cher. She told Will.I.Am how much she loved her after her X Factor appearance and the two of them spoke about how successful she could be in the States. Will has since talked to Rihanna about the three of them working on a track for Chers album.
In other Rihanna news, she has apparently been asked to scale back her performance at The BRIT Awards 2011, where she is nominated for International Female Solo Artist.
Organisers are said to be worried about the amount of fireworks she plans to use, which would mean they are lumped with an enormous insurance premium due to the added safety risk.
Shes not the only one Plan B has similarly been instructed to tone down his performance.
The awards ceremony takes place on 15 February at Londons O2 Arena.

So if Kristen does accept the part of Snow White, does she have what it takes to perform this role? Here is what LA Times had to say on the subject.
The hallmarks of the character, at least in the Brothers Grimm telling, is softness and vulnerability. Stewart has done vulnerability sort of in parts of the Twilight franchise. But her defining characteristic has been toughness. Certainly thats been a part of the non-Twilight roles shes tackled, as hard-living rocker Joan Jett in The Runaways and as a troubled stripper in Welcome to the Rileys. Will her Goth aspects mesh with the softness of a princess?
In a way, the Stewart casting evokes a reversal of the Rooney Mara-Dragon Tattoo problem. There people were asking if an actress was too soft for the part; here you could ask if shes too tough for it.
The new Snow White does reimagine the character as someone chained to the huntsman instead of set free by him, and, consequently, someone who must learn to fight her way out of trouble. Lets hope, for K-Stews sake and ours, that means the part calls for more grit than it does soft smiles.
There is also some question as to whether Kristen will even be available to take on the role of Snow White. Here is what E Online is reporting.
While we havent heard any concrete plans for a start date, weve put in calls to Kristens rep to see if K-11 really is set to start filming June 6 as Hollywood Life reports.
Filming would be after Breaking Dawn wraps, but would interfere with Kristen playing Snow White, a role we think she would be perfect for.
Obviously we think K-11 would show Kristens acting ability more (playing a red haired girl in a film with tons of sex and violence) but we have to say, were still rooting for Snow White to win out, since Stewarts rep said she did not read for the part of Lois Lane. Fewf!

The Twilight star is in negotiations to star in Snow White and the Huntsman, putting her on the road to topline the movie alongsideViggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron for Universals take on the fairy tale.
The deal is not done and could still fall apart, but both sides want it to happen.
Stewart is a name that Universal kept coming back to since acquiring the project. Still, it went through a series of screen tests with actresses such as Riley Keough, Felicity Jones and Alicia Vikander. As The Hollywood Reporter previously reported, Stewart was still being courted as late as last week, and Universal finally made an offer over the weekend.
Commercial helmer Rupert Sanders is making his directorial debut on the pic, which amps up the action quotient from the fairy tale and plays up the relationship between White and the Huntsman. In the new scenario, when she is banished and on the run by the evil queen (Theron), the Huntsman (Mortensen) takes her under his wing to protect her, and she becomes his protege, learning how to fight and defend herself.
I personally am hoping all can be worked out for Kristen to play this role. I think she has the acting ability and presence to pull it off! What do you think?

The British actress, 26, played an undead albeit drop-dead gorgeous Jane Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls, a prequel to the Jane Austen parody Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
So who is this budding actress making the leap from zombie vixen to Royal Highness?
This regal role will be Luddington's first time in the shoes of a leading lady. Her previous credits include small stints on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Days of Our Lives, as well as the part of "Uppity Guess #2" in a 2009 made-for-TV movie, Serving Time.
Obscurity aside, Luddington does have something in common with the princess-to-be: She hails from the British county of Berkshire, the same place Middleton, 29, grew up.
And she's not all beauty like Middleton, she's brains, too. Luddington is Oxford University-educated, according to U.K.'s Sun, while Middleton attended the University of St. Andrews the place where she first met Prince William as a 19-year-old college freshman.
As for researching for the role for the film, which is reportedly in high-gear in order to premiere in time for the April 29 wedding, Luddington's good-to-go, according to her sister.
"Camilla is very excited," she said. "She has always followed the Royal Family and never dreamt she'd be playing in a movie about them."
Sources connected with the case tell TMZ the L.A. County District Attorney will file the case as early as Monday.
Lindsay is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, CA jewelry store on January 22. Surveillance video from the store shows Lindsay with the necklace in question and there are photos of her wearing what appears to be the same necklace a week later.
If convicted ... Lindsay faces a maximum of three years in state prison.

Director Steven Soderbergh has been slapped with a paternity suit by an Australian woman who claims he fathered her daughter.
Francis Lawrencia Anderson says that a DNA test proves Soderbergh is the father of her baby and he even helped her with medical expenses during her pregnancy.
The two reportedly met in December 2009 when his play Tot Mom opened up in her hometown of Sydney. In the lawsuit, she says that he "has acknowledged he is the father of the child verbally," and now she's asking for child support from the director.
Soderbergh has been married to E! personality Jules Asner since 2003.

"When we came here, then the 'Three's Company' people contacted us like, 'What's going on?' So we had a talk with them, and they realized what we're doing is a cool thing. Otherwise, there's no other circumstance where 'Three's Company' would ever play at the Sundance FilmFestival. They were like, 'Yes, we've been trying to figure out ways of bringing it back in some form or another. We want to do more projects with you.' So now, we're planning and this is serious 'Three's Company,' the off-Broadway play. I think it needs to be developed a little more, something a little different but connected to the original."
