When action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger became governor of California (or how the Austrian-born actor pronounced it C-A-L-E-E-F-O-R-N-E-E-A), he was given the moniker Governator, a wordplay off his most famous character, the Terminator.
Speaking at TV market convention in Cannnes, Arnold spoke about the project.
First will come (The Governator) comic books, then a (cartoon) TV series and after that we will develop the games and then a movie.
At the convention, Schwarzenegger unveiled a trailer for the Governator cartoon, which was co-created by comic book legend Stan Lee, along with Andy and Amy Heyward of A Squared Entertainment. The trailer featured a voice cameo by Larry King.
EW was the first to unveil
project and has first look at some of the storyboards for the planned comic books.
When I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about the Governator, I thought the word was so cool. The word Governator combined two worlds: the world of politics and the movie world. And [this cartoon] brings everything together. It combines the governor, the Terminator, the bodybuilding world, the True Lies

Are they birds of a feather? American Idol judge Steven Tyler and teen sensation Selena Gomez both showed off some avian-inspired hair accessories on Saturday night at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Tyler, no stranger to the trend, wove feathers into his wavy, shoulder-length rocker locks (a look he consistently sports on Idol), adding an earring for extra flair. Meanwhile, Gomez popped some similar slim, tinted feathers subtly down the sides of her hair they werent even visible from the front. This isnt the first time stars have experimented with feathers in their coifs: Tyler tried the trend again one day later at Sundays Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, and Hilary Duff debuted a similar look just a few months back, when she added some fluff to her then-brunette tresses. Tell us: Who works their feathers better, Tyler or Gomez

Interview with "The Insider": Reese on love scene with sick Rob!
Reese Witherspoon's March 26 wedding to agent Jim Toth was one of the most talked about events of 2011 so far, and the actress spilled details on how it feels to have her private life in the public spotlight.
"I think you don't really understand why people are interested in you or your life or your personal life, but I gave up trying to figure out a long time ago," Reese told "The Insider" co-host Kevin Frazier. "And now it really is like a gift in my life. I feel like I'm always met with a lot of positive energy and people wanting to hug me or feel good about me."
Reese stars in 'Water for Elephants' alongside Robert Pattinson, playing a married woman who engages in a love affair with Robert, who plays a circus animal caretaker. The two have a few steamy love scenes, but the actors leaked that it may not have been as sexy as it seemed.
"I never had a love scene with a person that sick in my entire life," said Reese. "He was like infectiously ill."
In addition to Robert's unhealthy state, Reese also had to contend with the general dirtiness of the set while filming in the desert, but she had no complaints.
"It was very authentic," said Reese. "It was very much like the Dust Bowl and California in the 1930s... The privilege and the opportunity of getting to make a movie that's so interesting - you know, movies don't come along like this very often - and it's just such a great story."

TEENAGERS, eh? Little Miley Cyruss halo slipped a bit after she got riled at Canadian foetus Justin Bieber for lacking originality.
Asked if she would make a film about herself as Bieber has done, the 18-year-old huffed: I did it first. I had my movie way before him and it was 3D. He copied me.
Quick, someone give the girl a Twilight boxset or a pony or send her to her room without tea before it all turns nasty.
