The fortysomethings very nearly got schooled by the kid, with their critically trashed romantic comedy Just Go With It eeking out a first-place finish over the 3-D concert flick, Never Say Never.
As things stand now, Just Go With It is at No. 1 with an estimated $31 million; Never Say Never is on its heels with an estimated $30.3 million.
The Bieber movie's take was bigger than the debut of the Michael Jackson concert movie, This Is It. It was nearly as big as the phenomenon that was the Miley Cyrus concert movie, Best of Both Worlds (although, granted, Never Say Never played on thousands more screens.)
And, most important, it was big enough to thoroughly dominate the expectations game.
"These teen 3-D concert films are always hard to gauge because popularity amongst teens can evaporate quicker than you can say Jonas Brothers," Exhibitor Relations' box-office analyst Jeff Bock said today via email.
For Sandler, Just Go With It was his 11th No. 1 movie. Still, his pairing with Aniston resulted in a marked comedown from his last romantic comedy, 50 First Dates, with Drew Barrymore.
For Aniston, the opening was on the high sideit was her biggest debut, in fact, since 2008's Marley and Me. Also, the performance was a marked improvement over her last two romantic comediesThe Switch, with Jason Bateman, and The Bounty Hunter, with Gerard Butler.
Still, the final scoreboard arguably belongs to Bieber: Never Say Never reportedly cost just $12 million; Just Go With It reportedly cost $80 million.
Elsewhere, among the other new releases, the animated Gnomeo & Juliet did pretty well ($25.5 million); the Channing Tatum sword-and-shield flick, The Eagle, didn't ($8.6 million). In limited release, Ed Helms' Cedar Rapidsdid nice work, grossing $310,789 on 15 screens.
For those keeping score at home, Seth Rogen's The Green Hornet is expected to break $200 million worldwide on Monday; Natalie Portman's Black Swan, which tumbled out of the Top 10, should break $100 million domestically around the same time.
Here's the rundown of the top-grossing films, per Friday-Sunday numbers as compiled by Exhibitor Relations:
Lindsay Lohan could avoid felony charges because the alleged stolen necklace is possibly not worth as much as the jeweler claims!
According to several prominent jewelers, the necklace is question is said to be only worth anywhere between $800-$1,000!!
The necklace was sold for $2,500, which jewelers say was extremely overpriced. The good news (for Lindsay) is that if the item in question has a value of less than $950, then Lindsay could only be charged with petty theft, a misdemeanor with a maximum of 6 months in L.A. County Jail.
Lindsay could easily escape going to jail due to overcrowding.
Yet another lucky break for Lindsay!
What do U think?? Does she deserve to be put behind bars?
Florida teen charged with lying to police about âTwilightâ bite marks
Florida teen charged with lying to police about Twilight bite marks
MIAMI A 15-year-old Marathon, Fla. girl has been charged with making a false police report and was released to her mothers custody after authorities said she lied about bite marks on her body.
The girl, whose name was not released because of her age, allegedly told her mother she was attacked by a man while she was out jogging in order to cover up the fact that she engaged in fantasy biting with a 19-year-old man in August, the Associated Press reported.
The girl took part in the fantasy, because she said was inspired by the Twilight saga.
Police said that the girl was a big fan on the movies and books. She worried about what her mother would think after seeing bite marks on her neck, arms and back so she allegedly made up an attack.
Police couldnt find any evidence of an attack, and the girl eventually confessed that she made it up.
Justin Long Talks About His âFeistyâ Girlfriend Drew Barrymore
Justin Long Talks About His Feisty Girlfriend Drew Barrymore
Actor Justin Long says he loves his girlfriend Drew Barrymores feistiness, and talks about making their long-distance relationship work!
Actor Justin Long and actress Drew Barrymore have dated off/on for several years. Long says he likes women who are comfortable with themselves, coupled with a little feistiness.
Justin said, I like feistiness in a woman someone who knows who they are. It comes very naturally to Drew! Shes a contradiction: she can be tough, hang with the guys and throw punches, but then put on a dress and shoes and love Sex and the City. A sense of humour goes a long way, too. Its a tall order.
Justin also revealed he and Drew keep the romance alive by writing each other love letters when they are apart.
Long, 32, said, Im never in one place for more than seven months, so having a relationship means spending time apart. I hate the phone. If youre speaking too much it becomes mundane. Letters are so romantic. They require patience and are unique, thoughtful extensions of yourself. Drew is an amazing letter-writer.

Ashley Greene the star from Twilight and Mark Girl cosmetics have teamed up to raise awareness for campaign to raise awareness for Teen Dating Violence and Prevention. February is not only about Valentines Day, but it is also Teen Dating Violence and Prevention month.

It is often suggested that those that notice odd behaviors or tension in a relationship try to to talk to the victim in an open manner or offer to get the victim help. Ashley Greene has urged fans to support the cause as Love is respect. Will you support the cause during the month of February?
Contrino himself doesn't think Never Say Never is going to flop. But he thinks it's going to underwhelm enoughsettling for second or even third place at the weekend box office, behind Adam Sandler's and Jennifer Aniston's Just Go With It, and, possibly, the animated Gnomeo & Julietso as to invite unflattering comparisons.
"He's definitely going to end up closer to the Jonas Brothers," Contrino said.
In 2009, a year after Cyrus' Hannah Montana hybrid, Best of Both Worlds, set a new (impossible?) standard for concert movies with a blockbuster $31 million debut, the Jonases' effort "only" bowed with $12.5 million.
Never Say Never has been projected to gross anywhere from a Jonas-esque $12 million on the conservative side to a This Is It-sized $24 million on the bullish side. Contrino is the middle, predicting a $17 million take.
Any of the figures would have impressed. About four years ago.
Can you sing at the Grammys without a voice? One star is hoping she doesn't have to find out.
Pop star and Grammy-nominee Rihanna is in a race against time -- and illness -- to make her scheduled performance at music's biggest night. On Thursday night, she tweeted to a fan: "Bronchitis and laryngitis boo! I'm still goin to rehearsals tho! Sunday is everything."
Things seemed all systems go after rehearsals -- at least as far as one Grammy rep knew, saying, "We have not heard anything suggesting she isn't making it, as far as we know she will still be performing on Sunday."
So what's the latest from the singer herself? Saturday night, she tweeted to Ryan Seacrest, "I'm on every med under the sun! Don't wanna miss a thang!!!"
Thus far, expect to see Rihanna performing, though things could always change last minute.

Johnny Depp Talks Playing a Lizard, His Sex-Symbol Status, and Gets a Visit From Justin Bieber at the Rango Press Day
Johnny Depp Talks Playing a Lizard, His Sex-Symbol Status, and Gets a Visit From Justin Bieber at the Rango Press Day
Johnny Depp got lots of laughs at the press conference for his new movie Rango in LA yesterday. The actor was joined by his costars, Abigail Breslin and Isla Fisher, as well as director Gore Verbinski at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. Johnny plays the movie's title character, a pet lizard who is forced to save the day after a lie gets him in over his head. Johnny admitted that his own kids aren't all that interested in his career, and are far more into Family Guy and Justin Bieber. It turned out that Justin happened to be in the hotel, heard that Johnny mentioned him, and dropped by to say what a huge fan he is in the middle of the press conference! Johnny joked, "What am I going to tell my daughter?" Johnny, who was as gracious and funny as you might expect, also talked about tackling the challenge of playing a reptile and the reason he enjoys making movies for children. He said:
On why he enjoys making kids' movies: "I think kids, in general, as an audience, are the way forward because theyre not sort of sullied by intellectual expectation or this or that. Its a very pure sort of response to the work, and the great luck that I had, for example before Pirates [of the Caribbean], I had a daughter. And for about four years, all I watched was cartoons. Just cartoons. And I realized at that point the parameters were far away from what we do in sort of normal, everyday movies. You can get away with a lot more. They accept a lot more and they buy it, because theyre free. So for me that was everything in terms of coming up with what Captain Jack would be. I trust kids far more than I do adults. Kids give you their honest opinion. They tell the truth."
On how his own children felt about Rango: "They actually all me the Lizard King, my children, they do. I force them to address me like that. [laughs] It was an odd sort of thing. 'Where you going daddy?' I gotta go to work. 'Well, what are you doing?' Well, Im playing a lizard. You drop your kids off at school and give them a kiss, and now I gotta go be a lizard. The things Ive done that my kids are sort of privy to Willy Wonka it doesnt register. Theyre far more interested in Family Guy or Justin Bieber. [Someone calls out, 'Are you a Belieber?'] Belieber? Ive actually never heard that one, and that is my favorite. And you know what? Yes, I am a Belieber. And I shall remain so. "
On how he feels about his sex-symbol status: "Attention is a strange sort of being anyway. If someone appreciates your work, its always nice if someone appreciates your work. Ive never quite understood the other bits, where somehow youve been voted some thing for a magazine, and its a complete mystery to me. I wake up and I have to look at that head when I brush my teeth every morning and its weird, and its unpleasant at times, so I dont know about the attention."
To read the rest of Johnny's interview, just read more.
On what Jack Sparrow has in common with Rango: "I dont know, Ive always had an affinity for lizards. Ive always felt close to them. Feeling somewhat reptilian myself at times. Oddly, I think, Gore might even disagree, but I feel like when we were doing Pirates 1,2,3, at times, when Jack Sparrow had to run, it was this very specific run I wanted. Id seen this footage of a lizard running across the water and it was the strangest thing Id ever seen. So whenever we were in that situation, [I'd] get in touch with the lizard. So I actually think that Rango was somehow planted in Gore's brain from that lizard run. When he actually called me and said, "I want you to play a lizard,' I said, 'God, Im halfway there.'
On his own experience with lying:"I actually tell lies for a living. Thats what acting is, really! I felt, having kids, that I had horrific guilt for many years paying along with the Santa Clause thing, waiting for that moment to arrive. Because youre never going to bring it up them. Theyre going to go 'Hey, youve been telling me a lie for my entire life. What are you prepared to do about it?' So yeah, I had horrific guilt and were now just on the outskirts of that, so I feel okay. These are lies that society tells you you have to keep these lies going, these myths. So I felt guilty about it. I still do.
On whether he likes making animated films vs. live action: "Were lazyat least I am. Id rather just sit in front of the microphone and do the thing. However, the process that Gore created, this sort of atmosphere that was really, truly ludicrous, just ridiculous. It was like regional theater at its worst. And somehow...[it's] emotion capture. Certain gestures, body language, movements, something you might have done with your eyes these animators took it and put in there. It was very strange. For Harry Dean Stanton to walk up to me one afternoon he walks up to me and says, 'This is a weird gig, man.' And I went, 'Yeah.' He had just started and I said, 'Just wait.'"
On how he developed Rango's voice "Early on, some of the talks that Gore and I had about the charactertalk about two grown men, middle-aged men, discussing the possibility of one of them being lizard. So it starts off on a really surreal note anyway. Finding the voice or finding the characterwe talked about when, people in life, they have a tendency to exaggerate or lie you always notice their voice goes high thats kind of where it came from. You imagined the character to be just really like a nervous wreck."

Mira Sorvino's Husband Arrested for Public Intoxication
Mira Sorvino's Husband Arrested for Public Intoxication
Christopher Backus, who is married to Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino, was arrested in San Diego early this morning on a charge of being drunk in public.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ cops were called to the Hyatt Regency Islandia in San Diego after hotel guests complained of hearing a loud argument between Backus and Sorvino over "poor time management skills."
We're told when cops arrived at the hotel, Backus was walking around with a bat and yelling at guests and security. Law enforcement tells us cops were willing to let Backus cool down in the drunk tank for a few hours, but his behavior was so outlandish, they had no choice but to bust him.
Backus was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public and was booked into San Diego Central Jail at 12:37 AM where he is currently still in custody.

Miley Cyrus, 18, at the Clive Davis pre-grammy party appeared to be sporting a whole new figure as she arrived at the party, sparking speculation that she has gone under the knife. Has the pressure of Hollywood and always being in the spotlight finally gotten to her? In September 2010 when rumors surfaced that she wanted a boob job Miley addressed the rumors and said not true.
Miley has been trying hard to shed her Hannah Montana image. She has been trying to get rid of the little girl image and make people see she is all grown up. Miley wants to look sexy and get the roles of the hot voluptuous girl. In the dress Miley is wearing to the party it certainly looks like something has changed in the boob department. What do you think has she had some help from the doctor? or is she just growing?

NEW YORK, United States The landscape of fashion communication and commerce continues to change radically, and not just for big brand innovators like Burberry and Louis Vuitton. For a whole generation of formerly emerging designers including Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang and Thakoon Panichgul digital innovation is now front-and-centre of their strategies for taking their businesses to the next level.
On Thursday at the Independent Fashion Bloggers conference part of Social Media Week here in New York I interviewed Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler, who told a rapt audience of more than 200 fashion bloggers how social media is dramatically changing the way they think about the way they work, the way they sell and the way they communicate with consumers, driving sales and interest in their brand from a younger, tech-savvy consumer.
Following a return to form at his A/W 2011 show on Saturday, the ever energetic Alexander Wang is opening his first flagship store here in New York this week, but is also making substantial investments in his online presence, with a revamped website and online store to open later this year. We see digital as fundamental to our development as a brand, and one of the most powerful ways for us to connect with our customers, said Dennis Wang, the designers brother and CPO.
And big digital moves are also being made by Thakoon Panichgul, the Thai-American designer who became a household name to consumers around the world when Michelle Obama wore his floral print dress on the evening Barack Obama accepted the 2008 Democratic Nomination, and as one of the stars of The September Issue, chronicling Anna Wintours reign as Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue.
Today, Panichgul confidently explains to BoF how the brand new Thakoon.com will bring his brand straight to consumers, bypassing those once uber-powerful magazines.
BoF: At our Breakfast Club meeting late last year, you expressed some frustration at the state of digital in fashion. Is that why you are now taking matters into your own hands and leading the charge?
Thakoon: Yes, in part. I want us to speak a little louder and have more control of what we are saying in the digital world, as opposed just having an audience that justs chats about the brand. I think the frustration also came out of a little lack of understanding on my part; but now that Im really in it and understand it, Im totally excited by it and enjoy taking part in the community.
BoF: The initiatives planned for Thakoon.com include big investments in content, commerce and community initiatives. How will the new Thakoon.com help drive the business? How will you measure success?
Thakoon: Thakoon.com will allow us to communicate our message to a global audience. For us it is more about branding and letting our customer know who we are as opposed to showcasing product. We want to allow visitors to make a personal connection with the brand. There is so much character behind a brand that gets lost in translation when going through the traditional channels of designer to retailer to consumer. There is value in this character it is our DNA. We want to show our customer what we find so special about our brand.
BoF: How will you measure success?
We will measure our success by how well we stimulate and engage our consumer with our content. Our main objective is to increase brand awareness, so this increased awareness will be a true measure of the success of the initiative.
BoF: You will be revealing a series of video webisodes on your new website beginning today showing what happens behind the scenes in your studio. But some people say that having cameras around all the time leads people to feel like they have to perform. How do you keep things real, knowing that you are constantly being watched?
Thakoon: We are in such rapid growth mode, so there is so much happening all the time that im focused on the job in front of me that I dont even notice the camera. Also the camera is super tiny and the filming is very casual so that makes it easier. We dont have a boom and a crew with lights so theres no performance necessary. The way we are documenting is much more intimate, spontaneous.
BoF: Will viewers be able to participate or is this purely a voyeuristic experience?
Thakoon: I think it will evolve naturally, like anything. Its totally new for us that we will figure out what is interesting and whats not over time. But I believe in the organic process, doing things as it comes because it has to be genuine. So anything that we do voyeuristically or if we ask for audience participation, all of that will come if it makes sense.
BoF: Your e-commerce site is due to launch in the summer. Is the entire Thakoon product range available to buy online?
Thakoon: For now, we will not make the entire range available. Our philosophy has always been slow and steady. We want to start slowly, offering a selection what we feel are key pieces.
BoF: The new Thakoon.com is billed as the first stage of the companys new media initiative. Whats to come?
Thakoon: I think of it as a new platform, where we can really play. Obviously it would be exciting to do ad campaigns, but in time. For now, this new platform really gives us so many opportunities, because you have control, you have a voice, you have a great audience. Its a new way of marketing, which is totally exciting. The skys the limit.
Thakoon.com launches today with a livestream of Thakoons A/W 2011 show at 6pm EST.
Report: 'Spider-Man' Tangled in Labor Department Web
Report: 'Spider-Man' Tangled in Labor Department Web
The Foxwoods Theater, the home of 'Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,' is seen in this Oct. 5, 2010 file photo.
NEW YORK -- The New York State Department of Labor has issued two safety violations against the Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark," the stunt-heavy show that has been plagued by injuries to cast members, a newspaper reported.
Citing an anonymous state official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to release the findings, The New York Times reported Saturday that the safety violations were related to accidents last year.
The official said one violation involved an actor who fell more than 20 feet during a performance; the other was related to two performers injured while rehearsing a stunt in which cast members are catapulted from the back to the front of the stage.
No financial penalties have been imposed on the production, but state safety officials will perform surprise inspections from now on, the official said. Further violations could lead to the withdrawal of variances issued last year allowing aerial stunts that involve Spider-Man and the other characters.
Show spokesman Rick Miramontez told The Associated Press in an e-mail early Sunday: "The production is in full compliance of DOL guidelines and will continue to work with state officials to maintain the highest safety standards at all times."
Labor Department spokesman Leo Rosales did not immediately respond to requests for comment by the AP on Saturday.
The producers have 60 days to appeal the Labor Department's findings.
"Spider-Man" has become Broadway's most expensive show and its opening has been delayed four times since beginning previews Nov. 28. The show is now scheduled to open March 15.
The production is led by "The Lion King" director Julie Taymor, with music by U2's Bono and The Edge.
Cast members injured include an actor playing the web-slinger who fell 35 feet during a performance and suffered a skull fracture and cracked vertebrae, and a lead actress who dropped out after she suffered a concussion.
Fashion Week is in full swing in New York, and even there people can't help but bring up Twilight. Refinery29 got a chance to talk to figure skating champ Johnny Weir after he participated in Elise Overland's show. And what did they want to know?

From Zack Snyder, the director of 300 and Watchmen, comes Sucker Punch, an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl, whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her but her incredible adventures blur the lines between whats real and what is imaginary with potentially tragic consequences.

The limited edition art book is available for pre-order for $75 only on Amazon by clicking here. The non-autographed copy is also available through Amazon by clicking here for $23.07.
I saw the book as a visually interesting way to deconstruct the process of designing and prepping a filmpeeling it apart layer by layer, said Snyder. So much amazing artwork is generated throughout the development process of a film, especially one that occupies so many different worlds and environments. I wanted to be able to share that in a meaningful way, beyond whats captured on screen.
The film stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung and Carla Gugino. The film will be in theaters on March 25th.
OH MY GAGA! Less than 2 days until BORN THIS WAY! Its so close I can almost smell it! It smells like Glitter mixed with Rock & Roll
Speaking of Born This Way, the lovely Vicky Marsden has made some amazing BTW fan art as well as some other amazing drawings!!
Enjoy!
Gaga is my Eternal Muse. I find that as soon as I finish one drawing, shes already inspired me to do another. In fact, she sometimes inspires me half way through!! This is especially the case when her truly amazing remix was recently revealed. I had to stop everything I was doing and draw my I dont speak German.. picture.

Das ist erstaunliche Arbeit! Das ist gut! Wunderbare!!!
Shirley MacLaine, Christopher Walken, Twilight franchise star Ashley Greene and Adam Beach from the upcoming summer release Cowboys And Aliens will star in mystical drama Boom Boom Boom which Arclight Films is selling here.
Bono serves as executive producer on the project alongside Wim Wenders. Production is scheduled to commence this summer in New Mexico on what the producers describe as a magical tale set in a desert milieu.
When a young woman embarks on a quest to get to the bottom of an old family secret she encounters a pair of retired Vaudeville stars and in the process their lives are changed.
Lian Lunson will direct from his screenplay and will produce alongside Aaron Lubin. CAA represents US rights.
This has been a vision of mine for a very long time, Lunson said. The story captures the essences of everyday life but in a fairy tale landscape. It is a dream to be working with Shirley MacLaine and Christopher Walken, both of whom are playing roles unlike anything theyve done before.
Arclight is also tempting EFM buyers with the upcoming Joe Dante teen horror comedy Monster Love
Come on, girls! Do you believe in Madonna? Because Lady Gaga has got something to say about Express Yourself, and shes turned Madonnas fourth-best single of 1989 into her own instant-classic club anthem, Born This Way. Except its actually much better than Express Yourself, because its faster, with Gaga chanting Dont be a drag / Just be a queen. Born This Way sums up everything gaudy and glorious about Gaga, all her politics and sex and Catholic angst and smeared lipstick, in one admirably compact blast of disco aggression.
Born This Way is more than just Gagas heavily hyped return to the radio: Its an event, a statement, the most anticipatrended song in the history of recorded music, or at least since Britneys Hold It Against Me. Its also primed to become the first Number One hit in history to include the word transgendered. Gaga belts her self-esteem pep talk Subway kid, rejoice your truth? okaaaay! over the Eurodisco beats of producers Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow. She shouts to the gays, lesbians, bis, disabled, and monsters of all races, including the hilariously dippy line: Youre black, white, beige, chola descent / Youre Lebanese, youre Orient!
You can complain all you want about the tip of the leather cap to Express Yourself, which was just Madonnas knock-off of the Staple Singers Respect Yourself. But Born This Way is steeped in decades of gay disco tradition, with a heavy Seventies-style thump-thump from Patrick Hernandez 1979 classic Born to Be Alive. (Fun fact: one of Madonnas first professional gigs was as a back-up dancer on a Patrick Hernandez tour, and you can believe Gaga knows it.)
It might seem strange that Gaga chose to premiere her big comeback single for morning-radio commuters, rather than night people who hang out in clubs. By the time the drag queens crawl out of bed this afternoon, Born This Way will already be a TGIF wheres-the-party jam for ordinary strap-hanging douchebags all over the world. (Dont be a douche, just be a bag!) But thats part of the statement shes making here, because Born This Way is her brazen pop move: short, fast, going straight for the throat. Thats the most shocking thing about it.
I have to admit, I was expecting something more ponderous Gaga laboring to prove shes a Serious Artist who can get away with arty indulgences. I assumed that a couple of years of mega-fame would make the Lady sound more full of herself. But theres no dicking around here, no piano solos or Gregorian-chant interludes. Instead, she gets right down to unabashed pop kicks, because no matter how much inspiration she takes from the arty downtown scene she came from, her pet project has been revitalizing the Top 40. So she takes on Britney, Rihanna, Katy, Ke$ha and the rest of the radio queens, pimping her we-are-all-superstars message with a voice that reminds everyone who got this party started in the first place. Thats what makes Born This Way sound so audacious and so amazing.
"This is far from a slam-dunk case," says L.A. criminal defense attorney Steve Sitkoff of the allegation that the actress, 24, stole a $2,500 necklace. "All her attorney has to do is convince one juror it was an innocent misunderstanding and she could walk, unless they decide to retry her again."
Adds L.A. criminal defense attorney Harland Braun: "Even if she's convicted, I doubt she'll get state prison time because she's not a physical threat to the public. Prison is generally regarded as a place for hardened criminals, not someone who clearly has mental issues. She has a defensible case."
Experts also agree that her past theft allegations could be used against her in court depending on whether the judge finds the accusations relevant.
Here are among the possible resolutions to the actress's case:
Lohan could reach a plea deal without going to trial, and be sentenced to anywhere from six months to a year in county jail for the alleged theft as well as for violating her probation. "In this case, the court could figure out a way to make sure she does substantial time and forbid her from early release due to overcrowding," Sitkoff says.
She could also strike a deal in which she only gets felony probation with no jail time and if she stays out of trouble for three years, the judge could reduce the charge to a misdemeanor. Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley stated on Thursday she was seeking this as a possible outcome.
The actress wins at trial by convincing jurors she didn't intend to steal. However, Lohan could still face a probation violation and return to jail without a conviction in the theft case.
Lohan could go to trial and lose, and could be subject to harsher punishment if the judge decides she was being deceitful to the court. "But if she loses at trial, I can't see her getting more than eight months in state prison," Braun says.

Jennifer Aniston Has Been a Secret Perfumer for Years
Richard Young/Startraks
Jennifer Aniston might have debuted her first official fragrance just weeks agobut it turns out shed already honed her skills crafting signature scents for her inner circle. I wanted to create my own fragrance because for years I would make scented oils and lotions for my girlfriends for wedding showers, baby showers and birthdays, says this weeks PEOPLE cover girl. I would create a personalized scent for them, so when I was offered the opportunity to design my own fragrance I jumped at the chance. The debut scent, Jennifer Aniston, is a melange of notes that are nostalgic for her, she says, but that are also universal, smelling slightly different on each person who wears it. I wanted to incorporate some scents that I love most, especially living in Southern California, like jasmine, sandalwood, violet and musk, she explains. It took over a year to get the fragrance just as I wanted it. Buy the scent for yourself at sephora.com, and read more from Aniston in this weeks PEOPLE magazine, on newsstands now.

Sam's trip down memory lane is an unpleasant one in "Unforgiven"
BI'm pretty sure that the end of last night's Supernatural made me pass out in fear. All I know is that after it ended, I hit Twitter to express my complete and utter sadness that Sam appears to be gnawing at his memory wall faster than we anticipated, and then I woke up three hours later exactly where I had been sitting when I tweeted with the same ugly pit in my stomach. Ugh. This show!
The good news is that I've recovered enough now to rewind and recap how we got to last night's big, scary moment:
Last night's episode was not a normal Supernatural episode by any means. Much of the story was actually told via flashbacks to Sam's robo months when he was hunting with Grandpa Samuel. But in order for Sam to remember those days, he had to scratch at the wall in his mind that was put their to protect him from his memories of hell -- you know, the ones that will likely turn him into a "drooling mess" if he ever remembers fully. (Sigh of fear.) We actually kicked off the episode with one of said flashbacks.
In it, Sam and Samuel were shown one year prior working a case. Sam was shooting unidentified objects off camera, and Samuel had a look of concern on his face. (At which point we were all probably thinking the same thing, 'Yeah, that's definitely a great sign.') As they fled the scene of this apparent crime, a local policeman caught up with them, and upon seeing Sam's shirt covered in blood, threatened to arrest them. Not liking that idea, robo-Sam beat his face in. Again, Gramps, who I'd personally always pegged as a pretty violent guy, chastised Sam for his reaction. "You think there are maybe calmer ways we could have done all that?" he said. Sam didn't care, and they drove off, leaving the cop on the ground beaten (and me horrified).
When we returned to present day, the now-more-innocent-faced, normal Sam was watching bad TV in a cruddy hotel room when Dean walked in with fast food. (Ah, it's these familiar sights that make me want to wrap my arms around our recently re-souled Winchester and never let him go. I especially felt this way during this episode because the contrast between the two versions of the character was presented to us so clearly.) Just as they were talking about how quiet it had been lately (jinx), Sam received a mysterious text message with coordinates that led to a town where some girls had gone missing recently. Before you ask, no, it wasn't John Winchester sending the messages -- although how cool would THAT have been? Sam was unable to ID the source, and Dean became suspicious of the origin of the information, even urging Sam to forget about it. But Sam (using his younger brother powers) convinced him that it was worth checking out, and Dean agreeed, with the coda that if things happened to get "squirrely" (new Dean-ism?) they'd bow out.
Ashton Kutcher: George W. Bush âSnubbed Meâ at Super Bowl
Ashton Kutcher: George W. Bush Snubbed Me at Super Bowl
(FOX)
Apparently, the tension betweenAshton Kutcher and George W. Bush at Super Bowl XLV made the Packers and Steelers seem like best friends by comparison.
During an interview with BBC Radio 1, Kutcher talks about his experience sitting behind the former President during last Sundays big game in Dallas.
I dont think hes very happy with me. He just was not very nice to me. He just kind of snubbed me a little bit, Kutcher says of Bush.
Asked why Bush may have been icy toward him, the No Strings Attached actor explains, I think I said some mean things [about Bush] during the election.
I feel like he probably doesnt like me very much.
Kutcher describes Bush as being curt when acknowledging him, telling the BBC hosts that former president greeted him with something between a growl and a burp.
At one point, Kutcher says Bush turned around and gave me this scowl.
Wow.
Maybe President Bush thought he was about to be punkd?

As Jaxx, Cruise would sing Bon Jovis Wanted Dead or Alive among other hits from the era.
Lindsay Lohanâs Tight White $575 Court Dress Is Selling Like Crazy! Would You Buy It?
Lindsay Lohans Tight White $575 Court Dress Is Selling Like Crazy! Would You Buy It?
The itty bitty number that Lindsay wore when being charged with felony grand theft is becoming the hottest item in stores!
The dress heard round the world earlier this week is actually becoming a must-have item! Lindsay Lohan opted for a skin-tight, mid-thigh Kimberly Ovitz dress instead of a more conservative look when appearing in court on Feb. 9 to be charged with felony grand theft. Even though it incited disgust in some onlookers, its selling out everywhere!
ABC.com reports that the dress which retails for $575 is selling out at online stores that carry it.
Lindsay ended up tweeting [which has since been deleted] her surprise about the dress becoming news: I would never steal, in case people are wondering. I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal. also, what I wear to court shouldnt be front page news. its just absurd.
The New York Post, spoke with Ovitzs NYC offices, and they say their phones have been ringing off the hook, and they are reconsidering a second manufacturing of the style.
Its been a frenzy! a sales associate said. We saw it on the cover. We know, definitely, that people want that dress again because of Lindsay.
If you have been looking for the dress, you still might be able to find it at stores like Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Intermix and Shopbop.
HollywoodLife.com spoke to The Real Housewives of New York star Kelly Bensimon, who revealed that she was appalled by Lindsays outfit choice.
Lindsay dressed completely and utterly inappropriately, Kelly told us. You should dress like you are going to a funeral, not a club.
We also spoke toRobin Sax, a Criminal Lawyer and Former LA Deputy DA/Prosecutor, who completely agrees with Kelly, that Lindsays outfit was not a smart choice for court.
I think that she was absolutely inappropriately dressed for court, Robin said. Theres kind of a piece of sentimental witness advice that lawyers give to their clients wear what you would wear to church or a job interview!
A jewelry store in Venice Beach, Calif., is accusing Lindsay of stealing a $2,500 necklace and after appearing before Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz, Lindsay posted a$40,000 bail.
You now have a pending felony case, Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz said. If you violate the law, I will remand you and set no bail. Your attorney wont be successful this time.
Lindsay is expected back in court on Feb. 23.
Would you buy Lindsay Lohan's tight white court dress?
The mother of golden-voiced homeless man Ted Williams has urged her son to return to rehab. But it doesn't sound like Williams plans on listening.
"My reason for leaving treatment was because it gave me a sense of it being scripted," he told 10TV News in Columbus this week. "I was doing live telephone call-ins with Dr. Phil and my girlfriend and my ex-wife and all my kids. It became somewhat of a scripted circus, and a form of anonymity was lost."
How is Williams doing since leaving the treatment facility? He tells The Early Show in the following interview that troubles with drinking are "behind me" and "I am more appreciative of life. I'm not taking it for granted."
Tom Cruise Needed Those Slaves To âBetter Mankindâ
Tom Cruise Needed Those Slaves To Better Mankind
As more and more reports of The Church of Scientology engaging in slave labor come out, not to mention hilarious rubbing anecdotes, a former member has come forward with his experience building luxury vehicles for Tom Cruise after being told it was for the betterment of mankind. RadarOnline reports:
Brosseau, the former brother-in-law of church leader David Miscavige, said he spent six months and 2000 man-hours creating a limousine like no other ever built. The truth is that DM (Miscavige) had Sea Org staff spent thousands of hours doing personal projects for Tom Cruise while being paid $50.00 per week as their salary, Brosseau wrote, in the dossier. Fortunately, I took a lot of photos of things I worked on over the years. The images show Sea Org staffing doing electrical modifications under the dash, expensive leather, wool carpet, a metal contraption which served as a mount for Suris baby seat, hand-made aluminum TC badged treads and a ballistic proof fiberglass roof panel. Whats more, a huge eucalyptus tree cut down from the churchs International Base was used to create fancy woodwork inside the limo. The burl was very unique, Brosseau said. Tom loved it as it had come from a tree at the International Base, where he (Cruise) had achieved the state of Clear in the early 90s. DM (Miscaviage) let him know that it was a special piece of wood from the International Base and Tom raved about it.
And of course that anecdote involved Tom Cruise raving about wood which appropriately transitions us to another little project provided for him by Americas deep love of blindly believing supernatural bullshit and giving it all your money:
The church also gave Cruise Silver Screen a trailer-style bus which was made for him using slave labor, according to Rathbun. Cruise used the luxury vehicle as a base for lover Katie Holmes to begin her Purification Rundown Program, a controversial detoxification and introductory program developed by Scientologys founder L. Ron Hubbard.
I honestly hope Katie Holmes has a non-Scientologist lawyer who was present when she brokered the deal to be Tom Cruises wife because, Jesus, talk about the perfect scam.
CoS LAWYER: So, well pay you $50 million after five years, but first step into this brainwashing mobile where well erase your entire personality and pretty much any memories up until this point, including that money we just promised you. KATIE: Okay! TOM: *pops head in* Does she think Im straight yet? CoS LAWYER: One second. *flips switch* KATIE: Why does everyone look like women now? What just happened? TOM: BOO-YEAH.
For a guy who began his standup career in the drug-fueled '80s, and who's accused of rampant adultery by his ex, Steve Harvey apparently doesn't get out much.
The Family Feud host was thrown for a loop this week by an answer to the following question on the game show: What is something that gets passed around?
When a contestant buzzed in and hilariously answered, "A joint," Steve was stunned. No, really, we don't think that shocked was feigned. It gets better, too.
Watch the clip below to see if that answer actually registered on the Feud survey, and whether a rival contestant, who went the opposite approach, topped it:
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Clip: Kim. vs NeNe!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Clip: Kim. vs NeNe!
We hope you are sitting down, The Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers. Because the following news is truly shocking:
On Sunday night's reunion special, Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leaks argue, continuing the fight they had from a couple weeks ago about the way in which the former treats her assistant.
"I think you can dish it out but you can't take it," Leakes tells her frenemy. "I don't accept verbal abuse well, and I will not accept it, okay? So I am completely done."
Rihanna is cool with Chris Brown being in contact with her again.
Let's be clear in that it's unclear just how much contact they plan on having. But her lawyer says she would like the restraining order against Brown lifted, which would enable him to get close to her again without risking getting thrown in jail.
Whatever the motivation, she's come a long way since 2009.
Brown requested the court drop the restraining order recently.
Rihanna's attorney Donald Etra says she "does not object" to reducing it to a "do not annoy" order, allowing contact as long as Chris doesn't harass/molest her.
Chris initially asked for the reduction, but the court needed to know how Rihanna felt before ruling. The order has not been changed yet, but it could be soon.
Again, this could be as simple as her doing him a favor. The No Contact Order being in place puts him at risk of prosecution. But you have to wonder.

Lindsay Lohan is never at fault. She's just an easy target. So says Lindsay Lohan.
The alleged jewelry bandit is complaining to friends and family that members of the District Attorney's office are "out to get me" and using her to get elected.
Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers, who oversees Lindsay's probation DUI case, will likely a the felony grand theft complaint against the star this week.
The charge relates to the allegation that Lohan stole a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store in Venice, Calif., which she claims was merely loaned to her.
Lindsay's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, the hardest working woman in L.A., met with Meyers on Monday, and the result was another day of freedom.
Lohan was believed to be facing arrest yesterday, then today. But now "Lindsay's fate won't be decided for at least a day or more," one source said.
"As of right now, the case is still under review."
Holley has been out of town for business, and it's unlikely that Myers would charge Lindsay with was out of town. She supposedly returns this evening.
Meyers disputed Lindsay's assertion that she's being targeted, saying: "The D.A.'s Office has been fair and compassionate in prosecuting Ms. Lohan."
"The same fairness and justice will be applied in determining whether or not to file charges in the present manner. I think her lawyer would agree with this statement. I believe justice was administered fairly and equitably."
Meyers is running for District Attorney of Los Angeles, but before Lindsay jumps to conspiracy theories against her, she needs a geography lesson.
"Because of where the crime took place, it falls under Meyers' jurisdiction," but wouldn't if the theft took place in the Valley or Malibu, reports say.
"Lindsay has no idea the amount of trouble she is in now. The surveillance video is going to be the strongest evidence against her," the source adds.
Nor will returning it help her. "Just because the necklace was returned to cops, and the warrant wasn't executed didn't compromise the case."
Another reason to worry: "Meyers doesn't mess around when it comes to felony charges, and she's unimpressed with Lindsay's celebrity status."
Once Lindsay is charged with felony grand theft, she will have to formally surrender, and an arraignment date set. Look for that by week's end.
Matthew Morrison & Chace Crawford Ready to Swap Shows!

Do you love Glee? Do you love Gossip Girl? Would you love to see BFFs Matthew Morrison andChace Crawfordon each other's show?
If you answered yes to all of the above, good news! These guys are totally game to switch from McKinley High to the Upper East Side (and vice versa).
But can Chace actually sing? And what could their storylines be? One of them already has an idea...
"I think Chace could definitely do Glee," Matthew (or Matt, as Chace calls him) told me at the Audi Forum Dallas. "He's one of my good buddies so I'd love him to be on the show. It'd be awesome! And I'd love to be on Gossip Girl."
Chace even had an idea for a plotline for his pal involving Blake Lively.
"What could Matt do on Gossip Girl?" he pondered. "Come in as an unassuming billionaire to some oil company and then drug Serena up and leave her for dead somewhere so she has to reconcile her life. Sounds a little familiar, right?"
It actually kind of sounds like every other episode lately.
Chace also promises he has the pipes to cut it on the hit Fox show.
"Of course I can sing!" he told me. "Like Eddie Vedder and Guns N' Roses. I'm pretty good!"
And as for one celebrity who's already locked in her second guest stint on the show, Matthew confirms that Gwyneth Paltrowis back on set shooting a sexy dance number.
"We're doing a tango," he told me. "We might have a little make out session."
Ashley Fink has appeared regularly on this season of Glee as droll, trenchant, and somewhat manipulative plus-size diva Lauren Zizes (rhymes with Pisces), and she brings a wonderfully dark energy to the periodically Panglossian proceedings. On tonights episode, Silly Love Songs, Lauren gets her first big chance to shine with a featured plotline. So, continuing my tradition of gallingly showcasing the true underdogs in the programs cavalcade of underdogs, I gave her a call and asked her some inappropriate questions about Valentines Day, chick fights, and the Doritos flavor range.
Brett Berk: Who is Lauren Zizes? If she were a Crayola 64 color, a planet, and a Doritos flavor, which ones would she be, and why?
Ashley Fink: If she was a Dorito, she would totally be Cool Ranch. Because shes a bad ass, and Cool Ranch has that tangy-but-can-go-with-anything flavor. If she was a planet? Well, Uranus is the obvious choice. No, Im just kidding. Shed be Saturn, because she likes the ringsLauren likes to dress up. And the Crayola 64 color? Thats the big pack with the sparkly ones inside, right? Id say, Midnight Blue. Because blue has so many great variations, but Midnight Blue is the dark one.
I often have a hard time keeping track of the shows multifarious plotlines. Where do things stand with your character right now? Is she in the glee club? Is she a Cheerio? Is she gay or straight? Is she dating someone?
As of now, Lauren Zizes is definitely in the Glee Club. They needed an extra member because Kurt went to Dalton to join the Warblerswe lost a soldierso she stepped up to the plate. I think she secretly enjoys herself, because how could you not, singing and dancing with those kids? In terms of dating, I dont know if she believes in labels; I think shes an equal-opportunity offender. But . . . I cant say too much. Shes expressed interest in a couple people, and it may or may not be getting a little spicier very soon.
Ive heard that you have a featured role in the Valentines Day episode Silly Love Songs that airs tonight. What happens? Extortion? Infidelity? Threesome? Puck?
All of that. Every one of those.
No. What happens in the Valentines Day [episode]? Theres some serenading. Not necessarily by me. Theres a pretty epic altercation, which is one of the most fun things Ive ever done. And theres maybe, possibly, a throwdown. But Lauren runs the gambit in that episode. I think the Glee Club is something new for her in a way. It opens her heart a little.
I recently interviewed one of your colleagues on the showO.K., it was Kevin McHale [Artie]and he alluded to some mounting antagonism between you and Santana. When I suggested it should be resolved in a bout of Jell-O wrestling, he did not deny this as a possibility. Comments?
No. Im not going to deny that as a possibility, either. In fact, Im going to text Ryan Murphy right now!
Theres some truth in that. That pretty epic altercation may or may not include Santana. Shes kind of territorial, and she can be kind of scrappy. And Laurens a wrestler, so God only knows what could happen there.
Well, everyone loves a chick fight. But what other kinds of deviance can we expect from Lauren Zizes in upcoming episodes?
Well, there is a master plan in the works for her. Not necessarily as of now. But around the Valentines Day episode, or the one after that, she hatches a plan, and it definitely involves some of the Glee Clubbers. And they all get into a little bit of trouble. But not necessarily from her! She goes full throttle into the Glee Club, and I actually think its great. Theres a camaraderie she finds, and its sweet in this weird way. Its very sweet, and Im excited.
Image Credit: Landmark/PR PhotosThe Brothers Grimm: Snow White has found its Evil Queen. EW has confirmed that, as rumored, Julia Roberts will be playing the villainous role for the Brett Ratner-produced film for Relativity. This project, of course, is not to be confused with Snow White and the Huntsman; that Universal film, which may feature Kristen Stewart in the role of Snow White, will likely star Charlize Theron as its Evil Queen. (Viggo Mortensen is in talks for the Huntsman role.)
Lady GaGa has just tweeted the cover artwork for upcoming single Born This Way. The photo is shot by Nick Knight, styled by Nicola Formichetti and the art director is none other than Lady GaGa herself! Born This Way will debut this upcoming Friday, and GaGas debut performance of the song will take place at the Grammy Awards this upcoming Sunday! Keep an eye on GaGaNews for more details!
What do you little monsters think of the artwork? GaGa looks beautiful!
"Water For Elephants" Director Francis Lawrence Also Set To Make A "Snow White" Movie
"Water For Elephants" Director Francis Lawrence Also Set To Make A "Snow White" Movie
With the news that Kristen Stewart has been offered the role of Snow White in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman come details of other film adaptations of the fairy tale.
Viggo Mortensen (On The Road) is in negotiations for the role of the huntsman and Charlize Theron (Hancock) is expected to sign on as the Evil Queen.
The story follows Snow White, banished by the queen, and the hunter, who becomes her mentor instead of following the queen's orders to kill her. It begins production this summer with plans to release December 21, 2012.
Also due in 2012, the two other versions of the Snow White story planned for release include The Brothers Grimm: Snow White and Snow and the Seven to be shot in 3D. Julia Roberts is in talks to portray the Evil Queen, according to New York Magazine's Vulture blog, and Natalie Portman is rumored to be sought as Snow White.
This "Grimm" storyline follows the original German tale from the 1800s, in which Snow White and the seven dwarfs battle with the Evil Queen as she destroys the kingdom. It will be directed by Tarsem Singh (Immortals).
Snow and the Seven will be set in 19th-century Hong Kong with seven monks (instead of dwarfs) offering refuge to Snow White, who discovers her destiny to conquer evil. It will be directed by Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) and Yuen Woon-ping is on board as the martial arts choreographer.
It appears none of the films will resemble the animated Disney classic with the seven dwarfs from Happy and Sneezy to Doc and an Evil Queen's magic mirror. Similiarly, The Wizard of Oz is currently being considered for a couple of different reboots.
Despite plenty of promotion and that sports-fan-friendly opening number to California Gurls, Glee was down 31% from CBS program after last years Super Bowl, Undercover Boss.
Glee was seen by 26.8 million viewers and had an 11.1 adults 18-49 rating. This ranks as the highest-rated Glee episode ever (which you probably figured) and is the top-rated scripted telecast of any TV show in three years (which is rather great). It barely edged out the last scripted show to follow the Super Bowl, NBCs The Office, two years ago.
While Super Bowl audience tallies have been going up to record highs in recent years (see here for the ratings results for last nights big game), the number of people who stick around afterward has been trending more-or-less down. Post-game ratings peaked in 1996 for an episode of Friends that drew a stunning 52.9 million, then had its second largest number in modern history in 2001 for the second season premiere of Survivor. Fox had the lowest retention in 2005 with an episode of American Dad. Last year, CBS scored a surprisingly strong number for the series premiere of Undercover Boss with 38.7 million.
Can you sing at the Grammys without a voice? One star is hoping she doesn't have to find out.
