Lily Allen is set to appear in a new Channel 4 series this evening as we follow her journey from popstar to vintage shop owner in Riches to Rags. The documentary starts as Lily decides to quit touring in favour of a quieter life and plans to open a store with her half sister Sarah. It is expected to be quite revealing as Lily goes through some personal problems. Are you going to be tuning in, or is it not for you?
According to the site, Paltrow, who showed off her musical talents this year in the movie Country Strong and on Glee, has signed a contract worth approximately $900,000″ with Atlantic Records.
Not exactly.
A rep for Paltrow confirms to Gossip Cop that no deal is done with any record company yet.
At this point, we wouldn't be surprised. We're sure producers are ready to try anything to get this show to finally turn a profit, including kicking the people who started it all to the curb.
Sources are reporting that Julie Taymor, the director of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark on Broadway, may not be keeping that title for much longer.
The fact is, besides dealing with a slew of injuries and getting terrible reviews, the show's gone through tons of overhauls and nothing seems to be working. Perhaps, then, if Julie is the one standing in the way of major changes to the production, she'll end up being the major change herself.
As we understand it, something big is in the works either way over on 42nd street as it seems Bono has been called in for several meetings to talk about the show's future.
Um, how awkward is it gonna be if the producers turn around and say, "Hey Bono - fix the music!"
How you gonna tell Bono is his music is no good? He's got like 25 Grammys! He's freakin' Bono!
Things aren't looking good for you Julie, but here's hoping it all works out for the best for everyone.

Alice in Chains Rocker, Celebrity Rehab Patient Mike Starr Dead at 44

Mike Starr's demons tragically caught up with him.
The original bassist for Alice in Chains was found dead Tuesday in Utah. He was 44. Cause of death has not yet been released.
Starr, who battled drug addiction, appeared on the third season of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew in 2009 and gave a testimonial marking six months and seven days of sobriety during season four.
But his latest run-in with the law implied that he had hit a roadblock in his recovery.
Starr was arrested last month in Salt Lake City on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having six Xanax pills and six tablets of the painkiller Opana.
"Devastating to hear of Mike Starr succumbing to his illness. So very sad. Our prayers are with his family," Dr. Drew Pinskytweeted this afternoon.
Starr, who was born in Honolulu, played in Seattle with Jerry Cantrell and Sean Kinney as the glam band Diamond Lie, which later morphed into Alice in Chains with the addition of Layne Staley.
Their first studio EP was 1990's We Die Young.
Starr left the band in 1993 while they were touring with Ozzy Osbourne and was replaced by Mike Inez. Starr mentioned during his time on Celebrity Rehab that he had been booted from Alice in Chains because of his drug problem.
Inez was the one to reunite with Cantrell and Kinney in 2005 for a benefit concert for victims of the tsunami in South Asia. Staley died of a drug overdose in 2002.
"I totally back Mike and I back his efforts to get clean and remain somebody that I and the band really care abouthe's a friend of ours, you know, and we wish him the best," Cantrell wrote in the liner notes to the band's 2009 album Black Gives Way to Blue.

Lindsay Lohan to Sue Jewelry Store Over Sold Security Footage
Lindsay Lohan to Sue Jewelry Store Over Sold Security Footage
Sensing a legal opening along with a chance to cause misdirection and play the victim, Lindsay Lohan is going to sue Kamofie & Company jewelry store.
Why? She claims they had no legal standing to sell the infamous surveillance tape and that Lohan never licensed the rights to use her image for profit.
Kamofie sold the rights to distribute the tape to the Associated Press for at least $40,000. Lindsay says it's just proof they're using her to cash in.
No word on when Lindsay plans to file suit. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]
A rep for Kamofie tells TMZ that "We regret to hear there is trepidation by Miss Lohan in connection with the video" but that they had no choice but to sell.
Don't ask us why selling footage of Lohan allegedly committing felony theft to a media outlet became an involuntary act, but that's what they're saying:
The statement continues, "We hope everyone understands this is beyond our control, the flood of the requests to see this video were too overwhelming."

Selena Gomez Takes Time-Out From Justin to Debut New Songâand Sound Off on the Haters
Selena Gomez Takes Time-Out From Justin to Debut New Songand Sound Off on the Haters
Selena Gomez is all grown up with a mature new sound to prove it.
Not that she feels all that old, as the 18-year-old told our own Ryan Seacrest this morning that she doesn't feel a day over 15. Which is good news for boyfriend Justin Bieber who just became, by virtue of wacky celebrity math default, the sophisticated older man in their relationship.
So what does Selena have to say about her Biebertastic beau?
While appearing on Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show this morning to world premiere her new female-empowering single, "Who Says?," the topic of conversation inevitably turned to the state of her love life.
And Selena could not have played more coy. Refusing to even say Justin's name, she left it to Seacrest to mention the Biebs, and wouldn't comment on her recent Twitter acknowledgment of their relationship, in which she responded to his tweet of "I miss you" with the less clingy more coquettish, "I miss all of y'all."
"I miss everyone when I'm on tour, all my friends are gone," she slyly told Ryan. "It's nice to miss your friends and family."
Even nicer to ignore your haters, which is what Gomez is hoping to do with this tune, which starts out with the love yourself declaration, "Wouldn't want to be anyone else."
"Within that world, there's just such easy access to people's feelings. This song is such a great message to my fans, and it really touched me when I heard it Basically, it's to the haters, it's to the people who try to bring you down."
Sounds good to us. As does the song. And there could be more where that came from.
While Gomez said she has the next year and a half of her life totally planned out"at the moment I have not even a second to breathe within what I want to do"she may find a way to squeeze in some more studio time should this new single be well-received.
The Disney starwho's about to graduate from her four-year tenure at the mouse house with the end of Wizards of Waverly Place in sightsaid that a full album is "still tentative," but something she's currently working on.
And why not? Nothing like a little healthy chart competition to fire up a relationship, right?
Sheen was phoning in from "Sober Valley Lodge," where he claims to still be clean and sober and hard at work on his "manifesto."
"You'll find out more tonight on the show," he said of his continuing Sheen's Korner show on ustream.tv. "I'm busy writing my manifesto from now until then." (Sheen previously announced he was writing a book tentatively titled Apocalypse Me, but he wasn't clear if that was different from the manifesto.)
Sheen tells us he will be solo on tonight's livestream. "I don't need guests. I have one. Me," he said.
Now back to his "troll" costar Cryer. Sheen had been expecting a sympathetic phone call from his Emmy-winning wingman when Sheen first launched his war with show creator Lorre.
"Jon has not called me. He's a turncoat, a traitor, a troll. Clearly he's a troll," said Sheen. "He issued a statement. Is it gonna take me calling him a 'traitor, juvenile and scared' for him to get it?"
(Sheen might be misinformed on this count. E! News has repeatedly requested a statement from Cryer since Sheen first lashed out against the show over a week ago, but Cryer, via his rep, has declined to enter the fray. Cryer did do a sketch on Ellen riffing on his current unemployment but did not address Sheen directly; there was also a fake statement on Twitter from a spoof Cryer saying he was "shocked" with the whole debacle.)
Sheen has kinder words for some other cast and crew of the show, specifically citing several who are "not trolls" because they reached out and called him. Most notably "half man" Angus T. Jones, Conchata Ferrell (Berta the housekeeper), Melanie Lynskey (Rose the neighbor), Marin Hinkle (Judith Harper) and show director Jamie Widdoes.
And if Cryer does decide to reach out now?
"What's there to say? I'll tell him 'You're a little late. Goodbye, troll," said Sheen. "When I'm starring in multimillion-dollar films and he's begging me for a supporting role I'll say, 'You left me out in the cold with all of your guilt and stupidity.' "
On the most recent edition of Saturday Night Live, Miley Cyrus played the roles of Fergie, Lindsay Lohan and Justin Bieber.
But insiders tell Hollywood Life there's another new role Miley has been perfecting: flirt. The singer has reportedly been sending text messages to Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill ever since the Europe Music Awards in November.
Miley wants to keep Jared interested, a source says. She often sends him coy text messages. So far, he is a big fan of what she has been sending.
This mole claims Followill, who hails from Cyrus' hometown of Nashville, is 24 years old and was connected to Julianne Hough in 2009, thinks Miley is "very pretty."
Might we need to prepare ourselves for... Cyrowill? We'll keep readers apprised.
When you think Gwen Stefani, what may come to mind is her two decades of success in the music industry, her sales of 40 million+ albums worldwide, a Screen Actors Guild nomination, her LAMB clothing line and a successful fragrance in her name.
But what else is truly remarkable about this beautiful and extremely talented woman is her successful marriage to fellow musician Gavin Rossdale for 14 years in a place like Hollywood where marriages often last a mere months.
Stefani graces the cover of Elle UK's April issue in which she talks about her marriage, on what drives her and oh so much more.
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
Gwen on what drives her:
"I think of myself as really lazy. My ideal day would be to never get out of bed. No one can force me to do something unless I'm passionate about it."
Gwen on marriage:"I've been with Gavin for 14 years, and, let's face it, that is a huge accomplishment. I feel so proud of that it hasnt been the easiest journey."
Gwen on make-up:"I wear make-up every single day; I like to wear make-up for Gavin and I don't feel energized till I've put it on, then I'm ready to go."
Gwen on modesty:"I have this real masculine-feminine thing: I'm not really that sexy I get all made up and then I like to be a tough girl. I didn't even wear high heels until I was in my thirties! To me, [stripping off] is so boring."
