Forget Grandma's house. The hot pit-stop last night for "Red Riding Hood" was Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where the stars walked the carpet for the premiere of director Catherine Hardwicke's fairy-tale redo. Unsurprisingly, stunning scarlet seemed to be the dress code for the affair.
Red, herself, Amanda Seyfried showed off her mile-long legs in a maroon Lanvin mini dress, which she paired with nude heels and a messy up-do. Sure, it wasn't red exactly, but we're dubbing this "Red Riding Hood for the 21st century." Tres chic. Out supporting her former "Twilight" director Catherine, Nikki Reed slinked onto the carpet in a slightly more subdued sweetheart-neckline mini-dress with sheer black underpinning and what looked to be a forest-friendly camouflage-patterned top-layer.
No stranger to things that go bump in the night, "Vampire Diaries" star Katerina Graham flaunted a sultry strapless red bustier maxi dress. Though the color was pitch-perfect against Kat's skin tone, the dress would have been better suited without all those extra swathes of gauzy fabric, which made it kind of look like a maternity dress (we're 99.99 percent sure Kat has nothing to hide...). Also working red was "Sucker Punch" starlet Emily Browning, who wore a shiny satin mini dress. Though it could have done with a bit of eye-catching embellishing, the look was simple, cute and flattering.
While the ladies largely stuck to a consistent style (red and/or short), the "Red Riding Hood" men definitely diverged in the woods. Cutie Max Irons opted for a handsome black suit topped off with a black tie (and tie clip...fancy!), which gave him quite the debonair air. His co-star Shiloh Fernandez, on the other hand, went much more casual (sans tie) in a blue button-up and gray suit, with his pant legs tucked into a pair of lace-up boots. The horror! While we'll give him a few points for channeling his woodsman character with his footwear, we can't condone such sloppy finishing on the red carpet. Call us if you need some style tips next time, Shiloh!

Ghosts Set To Cause Trouble On True Blood; Alexander Skarsgard Talks Erics Big Changes
LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
It looks like Godric wont be the only ghost heading to Bon Temps in Season 4 of True Blood a hauntingly tough time is in store for fans of the shows favorite still-going vampire/human couple Jessica and Hoyt.
According to Jim Parrack, who plays baby vamp Jessicas boyfriend Hoyt, spirits are set to cause trouble for the newly domesticated pair.
Could be, yeah. Could be, Jim said when Access Hollywood asked about ghostly creatures joining the fray on the red carpet at PalyeFest2011. Somethings up with the house.
Alan Ball, creator of the HBO series, inspired by Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse novels, also confirmed ghosts were on their way.
Ghosts, witches, he said of new creatures on their way to the pulpy drama. Everything else weve already met, but there will be new werewolves, new shifters, new vampires. Yeah, ghosts and witches are the new ones, mostly.
It appears Arlene Fowlers half-human, half otherworldly creature baby will also create havoc.
Yes, theres gonna be a problem that grows exponentially, Arlenes portrayer, Carrie Preston, told Access. Its not gonna be what you think. So Arlene is definitely dealing with having to face something thats a little bit bigger than whats shes used to.
While much has been made about the witches being introduced in Season 4, one of the big plot lines will follow Alexander Skarsgards Eric Northman, who loses his memory.
I dont think its a secret that he gets amnesia this season, Alexander told Access. A witch casts a spell and he doesnt know who he is.
I dont want to reveal too much, but hes kind of like a very big baby suddenly, he doesnt know who he is and he needs protection suddenly and you havent seen that before, the tall Swede added.
The first time fans saw Eric in Season 3, he was in a dungeon sans clothing, but despite such racy material, Alexander said he hasnt yet read a script that was too sexy for his own tastes as an actor.
No, I havent had a moment like that yet, where I go, Its a little too much, he said with a grin. I kind of dive in head first and I love it all.
Anna Paquin also said she isnt worried about the sexy scripts, but her real life husband, Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton, said hes had an eye-raising moment once or twice.
Theres a little moment when you do think, My mum, sitting at home, is going to be watching me do a what? What? he laughed.

Is there a détente between Mr. Adonis and his ex?
A day after Charlie Sheen celebrated his firing from Two and a Half Men by waving a machete atop a roof in downtown L.A., an expected court hearing in his child-custody spat with Brooke Mueller was indefinteily postponed, according to the 45-year-old actor's attorney.
"No court today," Sheen's legal eagle Mark Gross tells E! News.
What magical warlock spell was at work? Here's what Sheen has to say.
At home prepping for his latest online rant tonightin which he plans to deliver his "manifesto" Sheen exclusively tells E! News that "cooler heads have prevailed" in his tyke tug-of-war with Mueller and that the duo seem to have sorted out their problems for now.
The same goes for his two daughthers with Denise RichardsSam, who turns 7 tomorrow, and Lola, 5.
"Denise is lovely," he tells us.
Gross declined to elaborate on any sort of deal Sheen and Mueller may have hammered out ("I'm hoping I will have more to say later," he tells us), but one of the sticking points had been Brooke's insistence that a third-party monitor keep an eye on the kids while they're with Charlie.
Last week, Mueller obtained a restraining order against him and got a judge to order the couple's 2-year-old sons, Bob and Max, handed over to the care of her mother, Moira Fiore.
The twins had been staying with Sheen at his "goddess"-infested Mulholland estate, aka Sober Valley Lodge.
A hearing in that case is set for March 22provided the trolls don't intervene.

Amanda Seyfried and Robert Pattinson have the two hottest mag covers out right nowand notice how we didn't say sexiest?
Seriously, what's with the strange movement where smokin' hot A-listers are paired with mood-killing critters? Crocodile DunPattinson came out last week, and now Elle's April cover story features the gorgeous Seyfriedalong with a goat, a cat and a goose, just to name a few.
But unlike our beloved Rob, who barely touched on his "traumatic" relationship with Kristen Stewart, Amanda let loose on her past Hollywood men!
Did you know she even dated one of our fave vamps?
"We dated. He's superfunny, but I was too involved with Dom."
Dom meaning Dominic Cooper, her ex who not only cheated on her with Lindsay Lohan in Cannes (this is a fact folks, trust) but apparently put the gorg blonde through hell before.
"I was just kind of foolishly thinking that the two of them were done and Dom and I were involved," Seyfried candidly dished about Dom and what she thought was his ex. "But we weren't really as involved as I thought. So I got my heart broken pretty hard."
Pictures and animal pairings aside, we loved what Seyfried had to say. Hollywood needs to be more open sometimes at kissing and telling!
She's hardly parading for the paparazzi every chance she gets, but we think celebs personal lives are fair game during a sit down like this.
As for her recent fling Ryan Phillippe? Babe nailed that answer, too.
"Um, yeah. I've been 'seen' with him," she said.
Are we the only ones who were kind of won over by her openness? Hearted the babe before, but this attitude is totally refreshing for us to see in Hollywood. Don't you think?

Prince William and Kate Middleton
With the Royal Wedding just around the corner, Britain's most-watched couple made a discreet visit to Westminster Abbey Monday night the first joint appearance by Prince William and Kate Middleton at the chapel set to serve as backdrop to their nuptials.
The visit's purpose? Sorting out the musical arrangements for the April 29 ceremony.
William, 28, and his bride-to-be, 29, alongside the groom's father, Prince Charles, arrived in a dark blue Jaguar around 8 p.m. Once inside, the trio sat in a pew a few rows from the altar while a full orchestra and a boy's choir rehearsed.
They "listened to some of the music that will be played at the wedding, but not all of it," a senior royal source tells Britain's Express newspaper. "The orchestra also had a few pieces that they had wanted the bride and groom to hear."
The couple were advised by Prince Charles, who has "always taken a close interest in classical and church music," the source says, and they will have chosen which music will be used and which they wanted to omit.
"They looked relaxed and seemed to enjoy themselves," says the source. "They are obviously very keen that everything should be right on the big day."
Pete Wentzdoes NOT want his soon-to-be-ex wife Ashlee Simpsonto get primary physical custody of their 2-year-old son Bronx -- as she's requested -- and now he's taking her on in court ... TMZ has learned.
Wentz just filed legal papers in response to Ashlee's divorce petition ... asking the judge for JOINT physical and legal custody of their son. In her divorce petition, Ashlee checked the box that indicated she wanted primary physical custody.
According to the docs, filed in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ, Wentz also wants each party to pay their own legal fees ... even though Ashlee asked the court to make Pete foot the bill for both sides.
And while Ashlee didn't specify the official break-up date in her papers -- Pete says the two called it quits on Feb. 9 ... just days after Pete came home from a wife-less trip to Dallas for the Super Bowl.

If you havent seen it by now, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was caught on camera dancing during Carnival yesterday while watching Gisele Bundchen ride by on a float. Now, Im not going to criticize the mans skills because Im white and have exactly one move where I pretend Im humping a really tall giraffe, but I dont see how anyone can sack him again without getting a phone call from the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Theres no way thats not a hate crime.

Catherine Hardwicke says she loves that Kristen "She's going to be a bad ass" and that "she's perfect for that"
Don't mess with Snow White.
Especially if Kristen Stewart is playing her...
As you may have heard, the Twilight starlet is in final negotiations to take on the fairest of them all role in Snow White and the Huntsman.
"I love it," Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke told us last night at the Hollywood premiere of her new flick, Red Riding Hood. "She's going to be a bad ass, learning how to hunt. That is perfect for Kristen!
"She's an athlete," Hardwicke continued. "She's a kick-ass chick. She's going to do good in that."
On Lady Gaga's 2009 smash The Fame Monster, the eccentric star hooked up with one of the fiercest ladies in the game when she and Beyoncé got their party on for the club anthem "Telephone." The singers then appeared together in an over-the-top music video in which they played a Quentin Tarantino-esque version of Thelma and Louise.
As the May 23 release date of Gaga's latest musical opus Born This Way draws near, the singer's little monsters are wondering if the star has secured any A-list talent for a collaboration on the new album.
In a recent radio chat, Gaga revealed that she's not planning on having anyone guest on Born This Way, according to Digital Spy. "I want to stand on my own two feet. I've already collaborated with my favorite female in the business," she teased. "We'll see how I'm feeling when I'm wrapping up the album."
With the anticipation for the record so high, fans are beginning to piece together the puzzle of BTW. Reported lyrics for her second single, "Judas," have already hit the Internet. On the track, Gaga waxes poetic about a lover whom she loves more than he loves her.
"Judas/ You never ever never/ Ever really ever loved me more, than I/ But Nemesis is watching over-high," she reportedly sings. "And this is your time/ Judas, lie on lie, write/ Tears drop 'cause I cry/ The echo truth killed you so you may finally die."
Lyrics for another BTW track, "Government Hooker," also reportedly found their way onto the Internet. A remix of the song debuted last week at the Thierry Mugler fashion show in Paris.
On the song, Gaga sings, "We had our night/ Our real nature/ No more time to decide/ Let it climb, let it ignite/ I can be cool/ I can be anything/ I'll be your everything/ Just touch me baby."
Avril Lavigne covered Kesha's Tik Tok hit in the Radio 1 Live Lounge. The song sounds a lot different the way Avril performed it. She slowed it down. "Tik Tok" doesn't sound as good without Kesha's edginess. Take a look:
Just one day after Collins's rep told PEOPLE that the former Genesis frontman has no intention of retiring, the musician himself addressed recent rumors about future of his career, in a message posted on his Web site Tuesday.
"Many of the articles printed over the last few months have ended up painting a picture of me that is more than a little distorted," Collins, 60, writes. "Therefore, I would like to add my comments and try to explain again my reasons for calling it a day."
Collins knocks reports that he's leaving the music scene over bad reviews, mistreatment by the media or because "I don't feel loved." Instead, he says, "I am stopping so I can be a full time father to my two young sons on a daily basis."
After thanking his "very large fanbase that loves what I do," the Grammy-winning musician adds that he's not some "tormented weirdo who thinks he was at the Alamo in another life."
Reiterating his gratefulness to fans for their well wishes, he adds, "It means a lot that you care. But there's no need for the straitjacket!"
Collins does not refer to any health issues, which have been reported as why he's taking a break from work. An article in FHM magazine cites a dislocated vertebra, lost hearing and nerve damage as fueling Collins's decision to quit music.
"Stoker" is a secretive project, to say the least, but the cat or, should we say, the bat might finally be out of the bag.
The Daily Mail has a very matter-of-fact report stating that Firth is playing a vampire in "Stoker." We already knew that "Stoker" centered on a young woman (Wasikowska) who is visited by her estranged uncle (Firth) after the death of her father, but if Firth is playing a literal blood-sucker, that's taking things to a much darker place than we originally expected.
And it's going to get very dark indeed if there's truth to this report. The Daily Mail details some of the violence contained within "Stoker," scenes that would require Firth to stab one victim in the neck with a pair of scissors while beating another to death with a tree branch. And here we were thinking that fangs were deadly enough on their own!
Let's wait and see how "Stoker" progresses before outright labeling it as a vampire movie, but for now, we're even more intrigued about a project we were already tremendously excited for. The stuttering king turned crimson-stained monster? Just tell us where to buy our tickets and we'll be there!

The Perp: Katy Perry, at Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's prêt-à-porter show in Paris
Ooh la la, the singer may be trying a little too hard to get into character with this Smurfette takes the City of Light look during French Fashion Week. (She's the voice of the female Smurf in the animated movie hitting theaters this August.) On its own merits, this Gallic-inspired tunic dress is très chic, but would it have killed Katy to go as herself?
