Adam Lambert Confirms "American Idol" Performance Plans
Coming as quite the welcome news to his avid fans, it has been confirmed that Adam Lambert will soon be returning to the "American Idol" stage.
With the "Idol" alum breaking the news via his Twitter page, Adam excitedly wrote, "Hey guess what?! I will be performing "Aftermath" on American Idol on Thursday, March 10!"
With the appearance being put forth for a good cause, Lambert will be making the song available for purchase right after the show's airing with proceeds going straight to the Trevor Project.
Of the plans, the 29-year-old tweeted, "Gonna take it down acoustic style. Then remix will be avail that day on adamofficial.com. In order to fully benefit the Trevor Project, the remix will only be available on my site. Will be on iTunes eventually."
As for his song "Aftermath", Adam previously told in a statement, "[Aftermath] was written about finding the courage to be honest with yourself and the people who love you. It's about facing adversity and taking risks in the name of personal liberation. The song takes on different meanings to different listeners."
"Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted out with Kristen's body guard John aka Agent Blanket walking along a street in Vancouver last night. (March 5th).
Rob is dress in black from head to toe. Kristen is dress the same.. They are holding hands. As they walk by me, they are laughing. I walked ahead of them and got ready to take a photo. John spotted me and ran up to me, "No Pictures, No Pictures". He was very nice and so was the group. I saw Rob and Kristen smile at me as they walked by. John said, "Good try but no pictures, I am good at my job". I said "no problem, have a good night" and went home. Sometimes you have to be at the right place at the right time and keep your eyes open".
Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart out with friends - Spotted in Vancovuer
Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted out with Kristen's body guard John aka Agent Blanket walking along a street in Vancouver last night. (March 5th). I was taking two friends from the UK back to their hotel when we spotted the group. It made their trip because earlier we spotted Alex Meraz and Chaske Spencer. Both are so gorgeous and super nice to fans.
I really wanted to capture an image but it didn't seem to work out. It was close to midnight, dark and they were walking fast. Everything happened so fast.
I did manage to make a tiny video. It is hard to stand in front of a group and try to be discreet and un-noticed while holding a video camera. I felt very uncomfortable but I tried my best to capture an image.
Rob is dress in black from head to toe. Kristen is dress the same. You see them in the far left of the screen. For a little fun this Sunday, I thought I'd bring you a clip of Jennifer Lopez's upbeat dance song, "Good Hit" off of her latest album Love. It's quite the esthetically pleasing video to watch, as Jennifer is dancing in her typically kickass ways whilst looking hot and playing with ... hairdryers! Clad in all Dolce & Gabbana, here's how to get her voluminous hairstyle that Oribe created for the shoot:
For four step by step directions from Oribe on how to get this look at home, just read more.
Step 1: On wet hair, spray a generous amount of Oribe Volumista Mist for Volume and brush through.
Step 2: Next, blow dry hair with a large round brush and as you finish each section, to keep the curl, secure a velcro roller whilst the hair is still hot until you are finished blowdrying.
Step 3: When you are finished, let hair cool for a few minutes and remove the rollers. Then spray Oribe Dry Texturising Spray all over the hair concentrating on the roots.
Step 4: Lastly, brush out hair and add in a few extension for extra body if necessary!
Elle and Dakota Fanning in Talks to Co-star in a Biopic on the Shaggs
Elle and Dakota Fanning in Talks to Co-star in a Biopic on the Shaggs
The Fanning sisters, Elle and Dakota, are in talks to team up as siblings (method!) for a planned feature film about the sixties family girl-group curiosity the Shaggs. The Shaggs, one of rock's quirkier no-hit wonders, were comprised of four New Hampshire sisters Dot, Betty, Helen, and Rachel Wiggin who had no seeming musical aptitude, but formed a band anyway because their father, Austin Wiggin, insisted his mothers session with a palm reader pre-visioned their global success despite their awkward, gangly appearance.
They recorded one cacophonous album, 1969's Philosophy of the World, which was widely derided, and they laid down the instruments they weren't quite sure what to do with in the first place after their father's death in 1975. But they did have their fans, like Frank Zappa, who infamously called them "better than the Beatles," and the band NRBQ, which rereleased the girls' album in 1982.
Dieckmann (who directed 2009's Motherhood, with Uma Thurman) spent the late eighties and early nineties shooting music videos for R.E.M., Aimee Mann, and the Throwing Muses, and first set up her Shaggs movie at the now-defunct Artisan Entertainment, and it bounced around Hollywood for years until now.
Oddly, just as the Fanning sisters are boarding Dieckmanns cinematic project, a long-gestating Off Broadway musical about the Shaggs and their only album is also finally and simultaneously taking shape. The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World starts previews in mid-May, and opens Off Broadway at Playwrights Horizons in June.
Its almost Greek in nature, says John Langs, the musicals director and co-creator. Theres a very clear line of an American Kronos, devouring his children: He essentially imprisoned his teenage daughters and erased their years of going from girls to women, and replaced it with endless band practice and calisthenics. Now, with our show and the movie coming together, I feel like weve become instruments of this prophecy. I feel the hand of Austin Wiggin pushing at my back.
The "victim" in the alleged Lindsay Lohan jewelry store heist just cashed in on the surveillance video and in the process may have really messed up the prosecutor's case.
The jewelry store -- Kamofie & Co. -- has been working with a broker for the last few days and the broker has been on the horn with numerous media outlets, salivating at the prospect of cashing in.
The video has been sold -- but it's causing fits for the lawyers in the case, particularly the prosecutor.
Lindsay's defense is that the necklace was a loan ... the jeweler begged to differ. So intent is critical, and if the jeweler is called to the stand and admits this was just a convenient way of scoring some quick cash from the media, Kamofie will have about as much credibility as (insert favorite celebrity who lied in "comment" section).
We know lawyers in the case have been in touch with the people at Kamofie, trying to dissuade them from selling the tape ... to no avail.
No word on how this will affect plea bargain negotiations. TMZ broke the story ... in the next few days, Shawn Holley, Lindsay's lawyer, and prosecutor Danette Meyers will meet in chambers with Judge Keith Schwartz ... sources tell us Holley is trying to get the judge to commit to a short jail sentence if Lindsay cops a plea.
