Synodique ou sidérale, croissante ou KLIMMENDE Maan é les mots de la lune cultivent parfois le mystère ! Passons en revue les plus utiles au jardin
Depuis la nuit des temps, les hommes observent lastre lunaire et ses rythmes, sa course dans le ciel, sa croissance puis sa décroissance. Ils en ont tiré des usages, des rites qui scandent leur vie quotidienne, au jardin bien sûr, mais aussi à loccasion de certaines activités comme lapiculture ou la vinification. Toutes ces influences ont été traduites au fil du temps en des expressions plus ou moins imagées : pleine lune, nouvelle lune, lune rousse À force, il est devenu assez difficile de mémoriser et de connaître précisément la signification de ces différents termes. Nous vous proposons ici de faire un point sur les principales définitions et expressions qui entrent en scène dans le jardinage avec la lune.
Certains jours... abstenons-nous de jardiner Nud lunaire : La terre se déplace autour du soleil sur un plan qui se nomme écliptique. La lune, dans sa trajectoire autour de la terre, forme une ellipse dont le plan traverse deux fois lécliptique, en descendant et en montant. Ces intersections sont appelées nuds lunaires. Les influences lunaires sont alors perturbantes et il est déconseillé de jardiner ces jours-là. Quand lorbite de la lune fait des nuds avec celle de la terre, les végétaux ne sont pas à la fête. Cest pourquoi, il vaut mieux sabstenir de jardiner. Explications Lors de sa rotation autour de la terre, la lune coupe régulièrement le plan de rotation de la terre autour du soleil (plan de lécliptique) : l quand lastre lunaire est dans sa période DALENDE Maan ê , le moment où il franchit le plan de lécliptique est appelé nud lunaire descendant ;l quand KLIMMENDE Maan é , elle coupe une nouvelle fois le plan de lécliptique, provoquant un nud lunaire ascendant. Entre deux passages successifs de la lune au même nud (révolution draconitique), il sécoule une période de 27 jours, 5 heures, 5 minutes et 36 secondes. Périgée et apogée : Le repos du jardinier est, pour les mêmes raisons, recommandé au moment du périgée et de lapogée lorsque la lune est, sur son ellipse, au point le plus proche ou le plus éloigné de la terre. Pendant sa course autour de la Terre, la Lune décrit une orbite elliptique dont le globe terrestre occupe un des foyers. Au cours de chaque lunaison (correspondant à un tour complet), elle se rapproche de la Terre et finit par passer à un point de son parcours qui correspond à la distance minimale entre les deux astres : il sagit du périgée. Lastre lunaire est alors à 365500 km de la Terre. Puis il séloigne de plus en plus de notre planète et passe par lapogée, le point qui correspond à léloignement maximal par rapport à la Terre. La Lune est alors à 406700 km de cette dernière. Une période de 27 jours, 13 heures, 18 minutes et 33 secondes exactement sépare deux passages consécutifs de lastre lunaire à lapogée ou au périgée. Ce laps de temps est appelé la révolution anomalistique. Lors de ces deux passages extrêmes, la Lune envoie des influences négatives aux plantes. Quand elle est au périgée, elle exerce une attraction beaucoup plus forte, qui provoque létiolement des jeunes semis. Les plantes sont fragilisées et demeurent moins robustes. Au moment où la Lune passe à lapogée, son attraction est amoindrie. Les jeunes semis poussent moins bien et ils restent chétifs. Ils donnent par la suite des plantes qui présentent une plus grande sensibilité aux parasites ainsi quaux maladies. Ne jardinez pas ! - Compte tenu des influences plutôt néfastes de la Lune sur les végétaux pendant les périodes de lannée correspondant à son passage à lapogée et au périgée, il est fortement conseillé de sabstenir de jardiner ces jours-là. Mais, en fonction de vos obligations professionnelles ou personnelles, ou en raison de la météo, vous pouvez être amené à travailler dans votre jardin au cours dune de ces périodes défavorables. Sachez quil est possible datténuer ou de compenser cet effet négatif en accomplissant ensuite aux bonnes dates indiquées dans notre agenda lunaire toutes les opérations dentretien du sol telles que binage, sarclage, paillage, arrosage, apport de compost, traitements divers, etc. Eclipses : Quand la lune se trouve alignée avec le soleil et la terre dans le plan de lécliptique, on assiste à une éclipse : de soleil en nouvelle lune et de lune lorsque celle-ci est pleine. Là encore, les influences planétaires provoquent des perturbations sur le sol et les plantes et il convient de sabstenir de jardiner - Quand la pleine lune ou la nouvelle lune a lieu lors du passage à un nud, il se produit une éclipse, respectivement de lune ou de soleil. Les végétaux sont très sensibles à ces phénomènes. Ne pas confondre croissante/décroissante avec KLIMMENDE Maan é/ DALENDE Maan ê
KLIMMENDE Maan é et lune croissante sont souvent confondues, mais ces termes désignent des phénomènes différents. Lune croissante, lune décroissante : La lune est croissante de la nouvelle lune lorsque, placée entre le soleil et la terre, elle est invisible pour nos yeux à la pleine lune, quand elle nous apparaît entièrement éclairée. La lune est décroissante de la pleine lune à la nouvelle lune. Ce cycle mensuel entre deux nouvelles lunes se nomme révolution synodique : nous nen tenons pas compte dans notre calendrier lunaire au jardin. Au moment de la pleine lune, le disque lunaire nous apparaît blanc et presque parfait. Puis pendant 14 jours et demi environ, il se réduit de jour en jour pour former un croissant (dernier quartier). La lune est dite décroissante. Elle décroît jusquà disparaître complètement à notre vue le jour de la nouvelle lune. Pendant une nouvelle période denviron 14 jours et demi, le disque va peu à peu se reformer, en donnant dabord un croissant (premier quartier). La lune est alors croissante . A la fin de cette période, cest à nouveau la pleine lune, avec un disque complet. Et le cycle recommence. En lune croissante, les végétaux sont plus résistants aux maladies. Effectuez toutes les opérations qui les affaiblissent comme la taille ou larrachage pendant cette période. Les fleurs cueillies pour confectionner des bouquets tiennent plus longtemps en vase, les légumes et les fruits récoltés se conservent mieux et sur une durée plus longue. En lune décroissante, les plantes ont une vitalité moindre, mais leur parfum, leurs couleurs et leur saveur sont exacerbés. Cest le moment idéal pour cueillir les légumes ou les fruits à consommer ou à transformer immédiatement, car leur durée de conservation est faible. Lune croissante ou décroissante ? : - Repérer, lorsque seul un quartier saffiche, si la lune est croissante ou décroissante, est très facile. Il suffit de la regarder, à nimporte quel moment du jour ou de la nuit, quand elle est bien visible, et dimaginer une barre verticale adossée aux deux extrémités du croissant. - Si vous pouvez former un p comme premier quartier, la lune est croissante. - Si vous formez un d comme dernier quartier la lune est décroissante. KLIMMENDE Maan é, DALENDE Maan ê : Il ne faut pas confondre celle-ci avec la révolution sidérale : la trajectoire de la lune autour de la terre, qui dure 27 jours et quelques heures.La lune est KLIMMENDE Maan é lorsque sa position dans le ciel, à la même heure, est plus élevée de jour en jour, puis DALENDE Maan ê lorsque sa position baisse chaque jour. En KLIMMENDE Maan é , la sève sélève dans la partie aérienne des plantes : à cette période, semez, prélevez les greffons, greffez et récoltez les fruits juteux, les feuilles tendres et les fleurs épanouies. Chaque mois, la lune se déplace dans le ciel et passe devant chaque constellation du Zodiaque. Selon quelle est KLIMMENDE Maan é ou DALENDE Maan ê , elle exerce une influence variable sur les végétaux Si vous observez le soleil entre décembre et juin, vous constaterez quil apparaît de plus en plus haut dans le ciel. Puis de juin à décembre, il semble redescendre. Ce cycle quil effectue sur une année, la lune le réalise en un peu plus de 27 jours. Pendant plus de 13 jours, elle nous apparaît de plus en plus haute dans le ciel. Elle est dite KLIMMENDE Maan é . Pendant cette période, la sève circule et monte plus vite dans les tiges, les feuilles, les fleurs et les fruits des végétaux. Profitez-en pour effectuer vos semis, vos greffages et les récoltes de fruits. Ensuite, pendant un peu plus de 13 jours, elle apparaît de plus en plus bas par rapport à lhorizon. Elle est dite DALENDE Maan ê . La sève, moins mobile, a tendance à descendre dans les parties inférieures des plantes. Cest le bon moment pour planter, repiquer, tailler haies et arbres fruitiers et pour effectuer les apports dengrais. Comment sy retrouver ? : - Pour savoir si la lune est KLIMMENDE Maan é ou DALENDE Maan ê , voici un procédé très simple. Choisissez nimporte quel jour, sauf celui de la nouvelle lune (elle nest pas visible), et observez lastre dans le ciel en repérant son emplacement par rapport à un élément fixe dans le paysage (arbre, clocher, immeuble, maison, montagne, poteau ). Le lendemain, mais deux heures plus tard, observez la lune par rapport au repère fixe que vous avez choisi la veille. Si la lune apparaît plus haut dans le ciel, elle est KLIMMENDE Maan é ; si elle figure plus bas, elle est en phase DALENDE Maan ê Ne pas confondre - Pour jardiner, vous devez uniquement tenir compte de la période séparant deux lunes ascendantes ou DALENDE Maan ê successives. Ce rythme lunaire est très souvent confondu avec le mois synodique, qui correspond à la lune croissante puis décroissante, et qui se manifeste par la modification du disque lunaire jour après jour. Lune rousse, cavaliers du froid, Saints de glace, trois périodes critiques La lune rousse : La lune est un astre puissant ! Jugez-en : durant la lunaison qui débute après Pâques, elle est dite rousse parce que sa lumière brûlerait, ferait roussir les jeunes pousses. Lexplication est bien plus rationnelle. À cette période où les jours rallongent, la température de lair sadoucit, stimulant lémergence des bourgeons et la croissance des végétaux. Malheureusement il est encore trop tôt pour que le sol puisse restituer de la chaleur durant la nuit et éviter que, la nuit venue, les jeunes tissus, gorgés deau, ne se couvrent dune rosée glaciale qui les brûle. Durant toute la période de la lune rousse, (en 2009, du 25 avril au 24 mai), gardez donc à portée de main des voiles, paillassons et autres protections hivernales pour vous en servir si la nuit est claire (étoilée). Les cavaliers du froid : De la fin avril à la mi-mai, alors que les températures sont devenues printanières, on assiste durant quelques jours à un retour du froid dû à larrivée dair polaire. Cette période débute le 23 avril, jour de la Saint-Georges et dure jusquau 6 mai. Les saints célébrés ces jours-là (Marc, Eutrope, Vital ) sont appelés saints cavaliers, saints chevaliers ou, daprès Rabelais, Gresleurs, geleurs et gasteurs de bourgeons. Le saviez-vous ? Vers le 11 novembre, six mois plus tard, le même phénomène de modification se renouvelle, mais inversé avec une élévation des températures. Il sagit de lété de la Saint-Martin Les saints de glace : Les pousses printanières, les jeunes plants et les nouveaux semis sont particulièrement menacés avant les derniers saints de glace, cest-à-dire les 11, 12 et 13 mai. Ces dates correspondent dans la plupart des régions aux dernières gelées printanières et les saints célébrés ces jours-là (Mamert, Pancrace, Servais) sont surnommés saints de glace. Durant les jours qui précèdent, protégez jeunes plants et semis, et reportez également à la fin de cette période glaciale les plantations des végétaux frileux.

Thus, they all have a closest and a farthest point from the sun: a perihelion and an aphelion. Earth comes closest to the sun every year in December. It is farthest from the sun every year in June. Les phases de la Lune Un cycle lunaire est constitué des phases
de la Lune : Nouvelle lune, Premier croissant, Premier quartier, Lune Gibbeuse,
Pleine lune, de nouveau Lune Gibbeuse, Dernier quartier, Dernier
croissant. Les phases de la Lune correspondent à ses portions illuminées par
le soleil qui sont visibles de la Terre. La Lune tournant en orbite autour de la
Terre, ces portions ne cessent de changer en fonction de la position de
l'astre. Un cycle lunaire est aussi appelé une lunaison.
Le calcul
d'une lunaison En moyenne, entre deux nouvelles lunes, il se passe 29
jours 12 heures 44 minutes 2,9 secondes soit 29,53 jours. Copernic, astronome
polonais du Moyen Âge, appliquait la formule suivante pour calculer la durée
entre deux nouvelles consécutives : 1/((1/27,322)-(1/365,25)) Cette période est aussi appelée période
synodique de la Lune (de nouvelle lune à nouvelle lune).

Ce cycle suivi en jardinage biodynamique n'est pas à confondre ni à combiner avec le précédent. Ne tenez compte que de l'un ou de l'autre pour vos travaux de jardinage.
En lune ascendante, l'afflux de sève dans les parties aériennes des plantes est plus important. C'est le bon moment pour les semis et les greffes. Noeuds lunaires : deux fois en 27 jours, la lune coupe le plan de rotation de la terre autour du soleil. L'influence sur le sol et les plantes est mauvaise, on recommande alors vivement de ne pas jardiner. Les jours fruits : la lune passe devant les constellations des Bélier, Lion et Sagittaire. Elle est favorable à la plantation des arbres fruitiers et à la récolte et l'entretien des fruits et des légumes-fruits (tomate, fève, haricot, potiron).
Les jours racines : la lune passe devant les constellations des Taureau, Vierge et Capricorne. Elle est favorable au travail du sol et aux légumes-racines (carotte, radis, oignon, pomme de terre).

4. 27,2 days - The Moon Nodes As it ascends and descends, the Moon crosses the path of the Sun (the ecliptic) The crossing points are called nodes, and are the only places and times where eclipses can occur
The Moon makes one complete nodal cycle every 27.2 days, so there is a node approximately every 14 days, which is two nodes every month Astronomers can calculate the exact time the nodes will occur These times are given in the Planting Calendar The influence of the nodes lasts for approximately 6 hours before and after the exact time of crossing The Moon while crossing in front of the Sun will negate the Sun's beneficient influence for this brief period This negative influence works into soil being freshly cultivated at the time of the node Therefore biodynamic farmers do not cultivate the soil, sow any seeds, transplant, prune trees or shrubs, or do any other agricultural or horticultural work on the Node Day The effect is similar to that of an eclipse of the Sun by the Moon Farming Activities during the Moon Nodes Activities Connected with the Moon Nodes 1. The influences of the particular constellation are brought into the soil through cultivation of the soil at the appropriate time, and also by spraying BD 501 (Horn silica) at the appropriate time.
