However, this doesn't annoys me. On contrary, it amuzes me greatly, because when someone rates an entrie 0/5, I know why (s)he does so so *lol*
Je kan dit blog beoordelen, een stem uitbrengen op berichten en sommige mensen maken er een hobby van om blogs een zo laag mogelijk nummer te geven. Maar, als iemend een bericht 0/5 geeft in mijn blog, dan weet ik waarom en ik vind het niet erg. Integendeel, eigenlijk vind ik het grappig ^_^

These are two words you might hear often in the world of yaoi. Sometimes its very clear who is uke and who is seme. Sometimes its bit less clear and sometimes... and sometimes both of them are uke and seme (They switch I tell you! They switch!).
Ex: Shuichi from the manga Gravitation is 100% uke. His friend Yuki is seme (moet he has tob e, otherwise it wouldnt work between those two). With the right person I could see Yuki being uke for once (could be hot). Shuichi however, never ever will be seme... to my opinion. I just dont see that boy seme!
"But whats seme and uke?", you are probably still asking. In short:
Uke = bottom
Seme= top
Still no idea? Just take a look at the pictures below. Yuki and Shuichi have been so kind to demonstrate it for you. Of course if you do know what uke and seme are, youre still allowed to take a look at the pictures. Enjoy ^_-

Dit zijn 2 termen die in yaoi toch van enig belang zijn. Soms is het zeer duidelijk wie uke is en wie seme. Soms iets is het iets minder duidelijk en soms... wel soms zijn ze beiden wel eens uke of seme (They switch I tell you!

Bv: Shuichi uit de manga Gravitation is 100% uke. Zijn vriend Yuki daarentegen is seme (moet wel, anders zou het niet werken tussen die twee), maar met de juiste persoon zie ik Yuki wel eens uke zijn (could be hot). Shuichi zal echter nooit seme zijn... naar mijn mening dan toch. Ik zie het die jongen gewoon niet doen.
"Maar wat is nu seme en uke?", zullen jullie je onderstussen waarschijnlijk afvragen. In het kort: Uke = bottom
Seme= top Nog geen idee? Kijk dan maar eens naar de prentjes hieronder. Yuki en Shuichi waren zo vriendelijk om deze termen voor ons te demonstreren. En als je wel weet waarover ik het heb, mag je natuurlijk ook naar de prentjes kijken. Enjoy ^_-

Eerste Vlaamse Yaoi-site / First Flemish Yaoi-site
It has been a while since my last update, I know and I'll make up for it this week. I promise. But I've been busy. My very first mini-doujinshi is as good as finished and... I've been working on my site as well. The first Flemish yaoi-site! ^_^ It still needs a lot of work, but most important: I started!
Ik weet het, mijn laatste update dateert alweer van een tijd geleden, maar ik zal het goed maken deze week. Dat beloof ik! Maar ik heb het druk gehad. Mijn allereerste doujinshi is zo goed als af en... ik ben ook gewerkt aan de eerste Vlaamse yaoi-site ^_^ Veel staat er nog niet, maar belangrijker: Ik ben eraan begonnen!
I guess you've heard about the movie (or the comic) Hellboy. Now what has Hellboy got to do with yaoi? Not much actually... In fact it's all about Abe and Kroenen. This is a fanfic, based on those two characters of that movie and to say it with the maker's own words:
This is the story of two action figures and the girls who haven't realized that, at 19 20, they're far too old to love them. Welcome to the previously untold story of Abe Sapien and Karl Ruprect Kroenen, an online comic that proves you're never too old to play with toys. Now with 40 episodes, two holiday pictures and a Christmas special!
But at the moment there are already 52 episodes and more on their way! The story is fun, the pictures awesome and you just got to love both main characters... and the other. Even though the story is rather OOC (Out Of Character), there's more than enough canon stuff kept and the characters theirselves are kept very canon. I can only say: You have to read this online comic! It's amazing what they've done with those simple action-figures... and the action-figures they included from other fandoms ^_^

Mischien hebt u al gehoord van de film: Hellboy (of de strip). Nu, wat heeft Hellboy met yaoi te maken? Niet veel eigenlijk, maar de personages Abe en Kroenen des te meer! Dit is een fanfic gebaseerd op deze 2 personages en om het te zeggen met de woorden van de makers (Engelse versie, want de fanfic is uiteindelijk ook in't Engels):

Maar op het moment zijn er al 52 episodes! Het is een leuk verhaal, de foto's zijn fantastisch en je kan niet anders dan de personages graag hebben. Het verhaal is redelijk OOC (betekend: "redelijk uit zijn context getrokken"), maar de basis van het verhaal is behouden gebleven en de personages gedragen zich zoals de personages in de film. Ik kan alleen maar zeggen: Lees deze online strip! Het is ongelooflijk wat ze met eenvoudige actie-poppen gedaan hebben... en niet alleen met deze 2 actie-figuren ^_^

Ofcourse it's a lot better if you start reading from the beginning. I know there are already more than 50 episodes up, so it will take some time till you've read it all. It's worth it though!
Natuurlijk zou het veel beter zijn om het verhaal te lezen van het begin. Ik weet wel dat er meer dan 52 episodes zijn en het vraagt bijgevolg wel wat tijd om dat allemaal te lezen, maar het is het waard!

Een leuke en vooral vriendelijke site met een forum en manga-besprekingen. Ik weet het, ik ga ook manga in dit blog bespreken, maar weet je wel hoeveel manga er bestaan? ...
