Our Backpacking Trip in India!

Arrived in Delhi!

Hi!

We are finally arrived!
First of all we had two nice flights and already met a lot of great people. Some of them also going to hike in the North of India, so we probably are going to meet them again.
Shalini, Rajit and the litte Aamini (our hostfamily) are just incredible! Their hospitality is endless, we immediately got a delicious breakfast and felt immediately at home.
After that we got a ride of Rajit to Delhi. These are some of our first impressions:

-the traffic!! As well as the taxi-ride to our host-family as well as our first 'otto- ride' ( something like a little tuftuf without windows) were two exited experiences: really hectic without any rules, so we can say we had a few frightening moments :)
-the local people see us as attractions. During our visit to the Red Fort, a lot of them asked to have some pictures with us,
-The difference between poor and rich (quite logical) and man & women on the incredibly busy streets

In the evening we again had a delicious meal, met the parents of Shalini, celebrated our results and had a lot of fun 9song karaoke with Rajit)

Since quite a lot of people want to follow our 'Indian adventure' I quickly made a little blog.
It's especially ment for short messages, to inform where we are, what we've done and moreover.. to ensure you that we're alive and well
We'll try to write something twice/thrice a week.. depending on the internet availability of course.

Well.. now sleeping, tomorrow a little bit more packing and then.. off we go!!
