A head start on short / middle-distance for 125,- each only!! That I am a big Paul Groeneveld fan is no secret for the guys who visit my website on a regular base. I am sure Paul ownes one fastest strains of birds for short and middle-distance races in Holland!!! He just won the first championship on the middle distance against around 900-1000 competitors over 6 races. Its the first time in 40-50 years that one person won this competition for the fourth time!!! Again the ultimate proof that this birds are something special for sure....
PAUL GROENEVELDhas been cultivating his family of racing pigeons for over 40 years! They have been bred and raced to win in the middle distance as young birds, which makes them ideal to enter in the BIG One Loft races and specialty races! To make a long story short they are basically Janssen X Tournier X Schaerlaeckens based. Paul competes in a very large combine in the Netherlands where he routinely wins against 11K to over 14K birds per week. It is not uncommon for him to win 1st and 2nd against 11K birds and then repeat those performances the following week with just as many positions. He rarely sells birds in the Netherlands, his reasoning common sense as he does not want to compete against his own birds. Monday, back in the office after a fine weekend.... A great weekend behind me, a lot of footbal... Saturday my son Tobias won 1-4 and in my eye he played one of his best matches ever... Great to see that those young guys can have so much fun... Then Sunday my favorite club in the region Haaglandia won 4-0 in a great match... A few cold beers and some cooking with Linda made my weekend a great success... So full batterys for this week... A lot of work.... many birds to put online, a few shipments and some visitors at the loft this week....
This afternoon Aad van Berkel will come in to pick up one of his own bred birds which we have online... Aad the breeder of Silver Shadow and many of the other Silver van Loon birds which made the Eijerkamp family famous world wide... Great to see that Aad check's our website every now and then and the fact that he want's theSister Moonlight Shadow back says so much that you all missed a great chance.... I told you all that bird is great, maybe I know something about pigeons after all?

De kampioenendag zal doorgaan op zaterdag 5 november in zaal oud Schunnebroeck: en niet zaosl voorheen in de kantinne van KVV Scherpenheuvel Vanaf 16u gaan de deuren open, u kan de affiche bekijken in bijlage! Op onze website kan je voorbieden op de bonverkoop tot zondag 30 oktober 21u, het is zeker eens de moeite om deze bonverkoop te bezoeken! De bons worden toegewezen aan de hoogste bieder na de zaalverkoop op zaterdag 05/11. U kan onze kampioenschappen bekijken via onze website Louis Verheyen uit Scherpenheuvel volgt zichzelf op als algemeen kampioen, Louis wordt algemeen kampioen 2011 met maar liefst 14 vermeldingen. Onze tweede algemeen kampioen vinden we eveneens in Scherpenheuvel en is Tambeur Paul met 8 vermeldingen, derde algemeen kampioen is Geerts Lucien uit Messelbroek met 6 vermeldingen!
