The partnership Sittner-Premier started in 2008 in Merksplas - Belgium. It was the result of a new collaboration between Premier Stud and Ed Sittner. The accomodation of Ed Sittner in Merksplas would become the new place for Brian Bolton of Premier Stud to race birds. The expectations were high because Brian Bolton already proved to be a very talented pigeon fancier. In 3 years he found his place among the elite of Belgium in middle distance racing.

Zijn palmares had er wellicht nog mooier uitgezien maar voor Jos De Swert en de Blauwe witpen As was de wedstrijd uit Melun opde eerste zaterdag van mei 2011 hun laatste vlucht.

In 2001 De Homburg a son of a daughter of De Zwollenaar was second in the Homburg race just missing the 1st. Each year Jan Lottermans name can be found on the Dutch Teletext result pages and for many many fanciers in Holland it remains a dream to appear just once.
The bases of these winning birds were the same lines being flown by Koopman and son. In Jans continuous obsession to improve his loft, he returned again and again to Gerard Koopman, new pigeons where added to the Nieuw Amsterdam loft, for a small fortune young pigeons where bought from all the top pigeons. Throughout most of Jans top pigeons we see a son of "Branco" when paired to Showpiece, a pigeon with special breeding capacities, known as Branco Junior. The base of one of the most succesful Koopman based lofts in Europe!!!

The eagle may be the symbol of American freedom and military might, but no eagle ever received France's Croix de Guerre for valor, or saved the lives of 1,000 troops trapped behind enemy lines, or walked five miles to deliver vital information after being shot out of the sky.
Pigeons, of the homing variety, accomplished all of this and countless other amazing feats, during their long and storied service in the U.S. Army.
Today, few people know about the heroism of these unassuming birds, or the integral role that Fort Monmouth played as the home of the Army's pigeon breeding and training center from 1917 to 1957.
"Back in the day, these pigeons were rock stars," said independent filmmaker Alessandro Croseri, who is completing a series of three documentaries about the Army's "pigeoneers," including the late Col. Clifford A. Poutre, a legendary figure who led the Pigeon Service for many years. "And then, everyone forgot about them."
In peacetime, thousands of people used to flock to the fort every year to see the pigeons. The star attractions included G.I. Joe, who saved a British brigade that was being bombarded by friendly fire in Italy in 1943, and Kaiser, a one-time German POW who later delivered messages for the Americans in World War I and went on to live to the ripe, old age of 32, twice the life span of an average pigeon.
"He was a tough bird," marveled Croseri, 38, of New York City, who has bred and raced pigeons all his life.

Verleden jaar heeft de NPO Nationale Manifestatie voor het eerst in Expo Houten plaats gevonden. Al met al een succesvolle verhuizing van het Autotron naar Houten. Het belooft weer het hoogtepunt van het stille seizoen te worden waar de Nationale Kampioenen en de Nationale Vluchtoverwinnaars gehuldigd worden. Inmiddels heeft ook de commissie jeugddag een nieuw programma voor de jeugdleden georganiseerd. Het bedrijfsleven heeft er ook veel zin in en enkele nieuwe exposanten hebben zich aangemeld om zich te profileren voor een breed publiek. Kortom, in het beursgedeelte zit ook weer een zekere groei.
Duivenverkopen tijdens de Nationale Manifestatie Al jaren wordt de Nationale Manifestatie gekenmerkt door een relatief vaste groep liefhebbers die duiven ter verkoop aanbieden. Wat kun je verwachten? Het thema van deze jeugddag is Kruip in de huid van . Zo kruip je deze dag in de huid van een duif, een TOP-liefhebber, een keurmeester, een convoyeur, een dierenarts en de moderne duivencoach. Wat het precies inhoudt dat houden we nog even geheim! Wel kunnen we verklappen dat je tijdens deze dag in direct in contact kunt komen met bekende liefhebbers.

TTP BL heeft de afgelopen jaren hard gewerkt aan een subliem kweekhok. Wij willen ons richten op het kweken uit specifieke, rassen, lijnen en prestatieduiven. Hiervoor hebben we zeer gericht duiven aangekocht om hiermee collecties te vormen. De meeste duiven zijn direct en rechtstreeks aangeschaft bij de kweekbron of opgekocht bij veilingen of openbare verkopingen of beroemde bijhuizen. Alle kweekduiven in het TTP Breedingloft voldoen aan onze hoge kwaliteitnorm en bezitten een een sublieme bouw en of prestatielijst. Door alleen te kweken met duiven uit de allerbeste bloedlijnen en met excellente genetische eigenschappen, trachten we bepaalde bloedlijnen van topduiven vast te leggen. Hierdoor leveren we duiven waarmee verder gekweekt kan worden. Wij kweken duiven waarmee u een succesvolle stam kunt opbouwen of een bepaalde lijn in uw huidige kweeklijn kunt inbrengen. Ons uitgangspunt hiervoor is de pedigree (bloedlijnen) van de duif. Deze pedigree beschouwen wij namelijk als een "genetische blauwdruk" van de potentie van elke duif. Binnenkort presenteren wij u onze uitgebreide website met daarop al onze kweekduiven. Op 26 november op De Nationale Manifestatie te Houten willen wij u hier alvast graag een voorproefje van geven.

Jan Lotterman started keeping pigeons at the tender age of nine, he started with pigeons from his neighbour. Years later, success came and continues. 1987 saw the first of many successes with first National Orleans with the young pigeons. 1988 A year later this was followed by a top ten position in the National, and as they say Jan & daughter Kathy were on their way. In 2001 De Homburg a son of a daughter of De Zwollenaar was second in the Homburg race just missing the 1st. Each year Jan Lottermans name can be found on the Dutch Teletext result pages and for many many fanciers in Holland it remains a dream to appear just once.
