L'Union des juges d'Alsace-Moselle, présidée par Jean-Luc HEINRICH, organise le dimanche 15 mai 2011 à la salle des fêtes de Soulzmatt (Haut-Rhin), une journée de formation des juges pigeons. Cette journée a été ouverte à l'ensemble des juges et élèves-juges de l'ANJP (Association Nationale des Juges Pigeons).
Sont inscrits au programme : l'étude raciale et le jugement du Texan, l'étude raciale et le jugement du Carrier, et, dans le domaine de la génétique, les gènes qui altèrent les couleurs chez le pigeon. Un déjeuner en commun est prévu à 13h00.

Het einde van het veilingseizoen nadert stilaan, maar bij PIPA proberen we tot en met de laatste veiling van het seizoen de lat altijd even hoog te leggen. I much colder day in Holland... Yesterday I had diner with Linda and the kids outside and today I needed to ask Linda where my winter coat was... It's April.... You can see it when you look at the pigeons also... Yesterday I thought that not to many people can beat us this year (LOL...) Today I thought what is going on? The birds don't like the big differences in temperatures just like us... So a little bit more feed today is all we can do and let's hope for higher temperatures soon...

Monday, a clear blue sky in Holland... It looks like summer when I woke up this morning.... Last weekend the first official race in our region... Strombeek aprrox 125 KM... In our club the victory (1, 2, 3, 4) was for Aad van Dijk, a man with a little basket and a loft full with birds from Paul Groeneveld. Regular visitors from my website know that I am a big fan of Paul Groeneveld... He is a true short / middle distance expert with amazing results... In fact the first race resulted in a regional win for Paul against 5650 pigeons (Fastest against 11225 pigeons)... That's not all... No also number 3, 14, 46, 68, 73 are for Paul Groeneveld... It's great to see that I advised 4 cock from Paul to Charles Scerri in Malta last week and he bought them... Maybe we know something about pigeons anyway!!! (LOL)... Enough said, let's keep my feet on the ground, but that Paul is one of the best in the country at the short distance... Well at least for me it's sure...

The end of the working week is there again, the day after two very big shipments to Malta and Bangladesh. I am busy answering emails and calls from Malta. The guys picked the birds up at the airport from our partner Joseph Portelli and it seems they are all happy... The birds arrived in perfect condition and most of them will be paired up already this weekend... The waiting time for this shipment was only 3 weeks!!! The fanciers in Malta found their way to payable quality birds!!! Last night we already sold the first birds for the next shipment which will be April 27th!!! Yes... We will have a new shipment this month!!! Good news for fanciers in China!!! We have a shipment to Peking, Shanghai and Chengdu on May 03 - 2011. The deadline for adding birds is April 30!!!
jullie duifjes zien er fantastisch uit! Na de enting van 2 weken geleden zijn enkele exmplaren ziek geweest maar momenteel zien er goed uit. Ook de laatste groep komt mee buiten en zal binnenkort beginnen vliegen. De eerste en tweede groep vliegt al ruim een uur. Ze verkennen de omgeving en dit zal hen later helpen in hun oriëntatie! We zitten zeker niet stil! alles werd dus geënt, dagelijks getraind en vanaf volgende week gaan we hen de mand leren kennen. Dit houdt in dat de duiven gedurende 1 à2 dagen in de reismand worden gezet. In deze manden verblijven ze ook op weg naar de lossingsplaats. Ze moeten dit leren en vooral leren drinken aan de drinkgoten, dit is uiterst belangrijk. Ook moeten ze leren met deze stess situaties omgaan. Eénmaal tot ze de rust in de manden gevonden hebben kunnen we voorzichtig aan het opleren beginnen. Wat mogen jullie nog verwachten. Er wordt volop gewerkt aan onze site en hopen hem binnen enkele weken online te hebben! Ook krijgen jullie binnenkort een mooie foto van jullie gekozen duif toegestuurd. We wachten nog even totdat de rui volledig beëindigd is! VOOR DE MENSEN DIE NOG GEEN DUIF GEKOZEN HEBBEN. Geen paniek er is nog keuze te over. Ze gaan op onze nieuwe website te vinden zijn. Ook mogen jullie rustig wachten totdat de eerste oefenvluchten gepasseerd zijn. Ik garandeer dat iedereen met een duifje kan starten op de eerste vlucht. Zou jullie duifje verloren of kwijtgeraakt zijn voor de eerste vlucht dan krijgen jullie gratis een nieuw! Indien ik mijn belofte niet kan nakomen om welke reden dan ook dan krijgen jullie het geld terug! Zo hopelijk weer voldoende info ontvangen! Indien er mensen zijn met vragen, zeker voor de niet liefhebbers die meedoen met ons project, stel ze gerust. ik zal er de volgende nieuwsbrief dan op terug komen
Thursday, an early start this morning... 5 A.M. The alarm clock is buzzing, the end of a way to short night... But that was my own fault... To much fun and a few drinks to many watching Barcelona... But is was worth it... Anyway 5:30 on the road to the office to put all the birds in the baskets and move to the airport... Now 11:00 back in the office with a great feeling the 63 pigeons for Malta and the 58 pigeons for Bangladesh are on their way to the new owners... I would like to thank all buyers again... It feels great to be trusted this way by so many... We do realize they never handled what they bought... Well, let's hope some champion breeders are amongst them....

Wednesday the week halfway and a lot of birds in the cages... A clear blue sky in Holland, the cocks sky high in the air this morning... After that a bath for them all, so all together... A great day for the birds... They will have to wait a few more weeks to see the hen, this year we will race them all on the Natural System so we will pair them up in batches. We will pair them up loft by loft so they will be on youngsters from 4 to 10 days just before the for us important races... We also will race only the International Races this year... plus a few to St. Vincent because this races counts for the Marathon Championship in Holland... Well enough said for today... A lot of work, over 120 pigeons in the cages ready to go to the airport tomorrow... So time to give them some extra attention before their long journey to Malta and Bangladesh...
Pedigrees to the United States!!! Many of our clients in the United States received the birds from last shipment last weekend. We receive a lot of emails with the same question... Where are the pedigrees?... Well to save us a lot of work answering all the email, the pedigrees have bin send to all buyer by post last week... They will arrive at your doorstep soon...
