If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there. The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. stone crumbles. wood rots. people, well, they die. but things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on. We're so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us that we don't take time to enjoy where we are. You cannot change what you refuse to confront. Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. The only normal people you know are the ones you dont know very well. Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly. No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isnt trying. Tears are words the heart can't express. Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish. The greatest barrier to success is the fear of failure. Dont choose the one who is beautiful to the world; choose the one who makes your world beautiful. Never do something permanently foolish just because you are temporarily upset.
The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in. If people are truly, madly, deeply in love with each other, they will find a way. Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky his is to have you.... The one who turns to his friends and says, 'that's her.' If a person wants to be a part of your life, they will make an obvious effort to do so. Think twice before reserving a space in your heart for people who do not make an effort to stay. The most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too. Falling in love is not a choice. To stay in love is. True love isnt about being inseparable; its about two people being true to each other even when they are separated. While youre busy looking for the perfect person, youll probably miss the imperfect person who could make you perfectly happy. Love is not about sex, going on fancy dates, or showing off. Its about being with a person who makes you happy in a way nobody else can. Anyone can come into your life and say how much they love you. It takes someone really special to stay in your life and show how much they love you. Dont look for someone who will solve all your problems; look for someone who will face them with you.
Its better to be alone than to be in bad company. As we grow up, we realize it becomes less important to have more friends and more important to have real ones. Making a hundred friends is not a miracle. The miracle is to make a single friend who will stand by your side even when hundreds are against you. Learn to love yourself first, instead of loving the idea of other people loving you. Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born. Nobody likes being alone that much. I don't go out of my way to make friends, that's all. It just leads to disappointment. Silence make the real conversations between friends. Not the saying, but the never needing to say that counts. Growing apart doesn't change the fact that for a long time we grew side by side; our roots will always be tangled. I'm glad for that. Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing. A snowball in the face is surely the perfect beginning to a lasting friendship. This is how it works. I love the people in my life, and I do for my friends whatever they need me to do for them, again and again, as many times as is necessary. For example, in your case you always forgot who you are and how much you're loved. So what I do for you as your friend is remind you who you are and tell you how much I love you. And this isn't any kind of burden for me, because I love who you are very much. Every time I remind you, I get to remember with you, which is my pleasure. True friends say good things behind your back, and bad things to your face. Friendship is the bestiest thing that comes to life . Friends will always be there for you don't worry about the fakes worry about the people who had your back from the start and never treated you wrong always remember they are your real friends don't never take them as granted because one day your going to lose a good friend by the way your action's are when you see a good friend stick to that person .
You can learn great things from your mistakes when you arent busy denying them. In life, if you dont risk anything, you risk everything. When you stop chasing the wrong things you give the right things a chance to catch you. Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for a moment that is yet to come. People are more what they hide than what they show. Sometimes people dont notice the things others do for them until they stop doing them. Being alone does not mean you are lonely, and being lonely does not mean you are alone. When someone tells you, Youve changed, it might simply be because youve stopped living your life their way. You dont drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there. Its better to know and be disappointed than to never know and always wonder. There are things that we dont want to happen but have to accept, things we dont want to know but have to learn, and people we cant live without but have to let go. Happiness is not determined by whats happening around you, but rather whats happening inside you. Most people depend on others to gain happiness, but the truth is, it always comes from within. If you dont like something, change it. If you cant change it, change the way you think about it.
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others. The secret of getting ahead is getting started. Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy. The key is to keep company only with people who uplift you, whose presence calls forth your best. Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later. You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence. Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward. Change your life today. Don't gamble on the future, act now, without delay. By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail. I don't believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be.
My Loneliness is killing me. I'm so sick of feeling sad and lonely and unwanted. I'm losing my fucking mind. Can't drown my demons, they know how to swim. It's like I want to live, but I don't really care if I don't. I've stayed silent my whole life. Take me to the time when things were fine, it's all broken now. Just leave me alone, it's not like you care. The hardest part is waking up in the morning, remembering what you were trying to forget. I'm always the ugly friend. Sometimes, I just want to give up. Everyday is a nightmare, over and over, and over again, replayed in my head. Found my comfort in pain. I have so much to say, but no one to listen.

Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates. At the first gate, ask yourself : "Is it true?". At the second ask : "Is it necessary?". At the third gate ask : "Is it kind?" Don't worrry about what you can't control. Making one person smile can change the world. Maybe not the whole world, but their world. Dream big, work hard, stay focused and surround yourself with good people. I speak so much better when I'm silent.

makes my heart ring like a bell. Strange to imagine that, isnt it a
heart ringing but when you touch me that is what it is like: as if my
heart is ringing in my chest and the sound shivers down my veins and
splinters my bones with joy.
Why have I written these words in this book? Because of you. You taught
me to love this book where I had scorned it. When I read it for the
second time, with an open mind and heart, I felt the most complete
despair and envy of Sydney Carton. Yes, Sydney, for even if he had no
hope that the woman he loved would love him, at least he could tell her
of his love. At least he could do something to prove his passion, even
if that thing was to die.
I would have chosen death for a chance to tell you the truth, Tessa, if I
could have been assured that death would be my own. And that is why I
envied Sydney, for he was free.

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can
completely turn your world around. You tell them things that youve
never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and
actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that
will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many
disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful

didnt exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you
through a long days work and always brings a smile to your face. In
their presence, theres no need for continuous conversation, but you
find youre quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never
interested you before become fascinating because you know they are
important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this
person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring
them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on
the horizon. You open your heart knowing that theres a chance it may be
broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy
that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the
only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure thats so real it
scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and
possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems
completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and
security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.

Lost in a world of the authors making. Sit down. She might give you a glare, as most girls who read do not like to be interrupted. Ask her if she likes the book.
Buy her another cup of coffee.
Let her know what you really think of Murakami. See if she got through the first chapter of Fellowship. Understand that if she says she understood James Joyces Ulysses shes just saying that to sound intelligent. Ask her if she loves Alice or she would like to be Alice.
Its easy to date a girl who reads. Give her books for her birthday, for Christmas, for anniversaries. Give her the gift of words, in poetry and in song. Give her Neruda, Pound, Sexton, Cummings. Let her know that you understand that words are love. Understand that she knows the difference between books and reality but by god, shes going to try to make her life a little like her favorite book. It will never be your fault if she does.
She has to give it a shot somehow.
Lie to her. If she understands syntax, she will understand your need to lie. Behind words are other things: motivation, value, nuance, dialogue. It will not be the end of the world.
Fail her. Because a girl who reads knows that failure always leads up to the climax. Because girls who read understand that all things must come to end, but that you can always write a sequel. That you can begin again and again and still be the hero. That life is meant to have a villain or two.
Why be frightened of everything that you are not? Girls who read understand that people, like characters, develop. Except in the Twilight series.
If you find a girl who reads, keep her close. When you find her up at 2 AM clutching a book to her chest and weeping, make her a cup of tea and hold her. You may lose her for a couple of hours but she will always come back to you. Shell talk as if the characters in the book are real, because for a while, they always are.
You will propose on a hot air balloon. Or during a rock concert. Or very casually next time shes sick. Over Skype.
You will smile so hard you will wonder why your heart hasnt burst and bled out all over your chest yet. You will write the story of your lives, have kids with strange names and even stranger tastes. She will introduce your children to the Cat in the Hat and Aslan, maybe in the same day. You will walk the winters of your old age together and she will recite Keats under her breath while you shake the snow off your boots.
Date a girl who reads because you deserve it. You deserve a girl who can give you the most colorful life imaginable. If you can only give her monotony, and stale hours and half-baked proposals, then youre better off alone. If you want the world and the worlds beyond it, date a girl who reads.
I knew lovers could break my heart, but Ive never thought friends could.
Sometimes you have to move on without certain people. If they're meant to be in your life, they'll catch up.
Collect good people, truly good people... and protect and love them the best you can.
A big secret for happiness: ignore people who do crappy things to you.
The older I grow, the more I listen to people who don't talk much.
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.
