After almost 2 hours all was finished and it was just a matter of waking up now.
Once driving home all dogs were happy to see us come back

And Mausie relaxed and hallucinated a bit because of the morfine...

And while I m sitting at my desk, she is just lying next to me

And as Boomer needed to have his monthly check in a few days, I just took him with us ... he had a echografy, and blood and urine were taken for the tests

I knew he was an extraordinary man and so is Brenda too, extraordinary... but that they would do this... is just incredible:

Brenda told me that Rudy did not like  to buy cut flowers as they should stay in the ground.

Therefor he did not want people to bring flowers to the memorial service next Saturday but instead to make a gift to our Charity !!!!

Can you imagine ???? <3 <3

Of course Brenda will be informed of any gifts and when she will visit us all at the Ranch, we will do something special for Rudy.

I' m sure he will be here with us

Yes a puppy and most of them get abundant by april (it has become too big for their apartment) and if not... by summer when they want to go on Holiday and don t want to pay for a doghotel in case they can t take it with them. In other cases it is dumped in their weekendplace...on a chain getting food 1 or twice a week...

Well let s stay positive, we are certain that every year less pups are given for January 6...

Today we had the visit from our farrier and his vet who came to vaccinate the Whispering Ranch horses;

For the first time in all these years I have choosen another vet to do this than my regular vets from the Horseclinic.
Why ?  II ll be honest... for the MONEY.

The clinic charges me DOUBLE of what this other vet charges

We are a Registrered Charity and up to now I ve have been paying all the bills from my own pocket... I just can 't be pulling money from out of a box.

I am sorry for the vet of the clinic, but I just can 't spend so much...

Cancer got the better of him tonight and as Brenda says... a new star is shining.

Damn Rudy you are going to be missed by so many people but I know You are still hanging around to make sure Brenda is OK...

It should have been a good day as it was Eva s nameday today...

Eva received the trailer she needed for us to get it warm who ever sleeps in the house.

In the afternoon something else happend... it was very strange and upset us...as Eva became really upset and sad for everything that went wrong

OK as you know I do not like to put ugly pictures up, but as it is a look back into the past... I can 't put any cute ones up from back then, so bear with me please ...

When I saved her I thought I should bring her to the vet to be put asleep as she could not stand up anymore, but she told me...GO home, I want to live, Help me and I will get better, trust me,...

So I listened to her and took her home on Dember 13, 2009 and treated her up to 6 times a day with eyedrops, apart from Photonic therapy and daily injections... never giving up and this for more then a month every day.

For over a week my neighbours and I had to lift her from the floor several times a day as she was too weak to get up herself.

But she never gave up so I did neither !!!

And how right we were to not give up`on her...

Once fit, Filly got her eyesight back and the vet could not even find any residue marks in her eyes, no scars, nothing.

She is a superlady that moved to Holland to go and life with Willy who became a very dear friend of mine (she also adopted rescue dog Dina and Yuca Aka Nubi and is taking care of rescue horse Preston as long as he does not find his perfect partner.
