Welcome to Sotje62 ! My blog intends to make the world a smaller place. In Savannakhet, Laos. Clubtje gemist, maar the reds ga ik zien ! Missed Bruges but ready for the reds tonight.
Het groot toeval heeft toegeslaan, en ik was wakker in het midden van de nacht, om de goal van Kuyt te zien. Mijn wekker stond om 01h45 en gesnoozed tot 02h30 heb ik zijn goal net voor half-time gezien. In de half-time zag ik het ook van Standard, miljaarde dat ze het weggegeven hebben. Voor de 2de half-time heb ik overgeschakeld naar Inter - Barca. Messi is geweldig en Eto mag het hebben bij Inter.
De TV in Laos toont heel veel sport, de US-Open finale van Clijsters heb ik gezien, ze tonen ook premier league matchen van het jaar 2005. Dat is minder interessant. Ik heb ook de Thaise Canal + Movie Channel en amuseer me rot voor de TV de laatste dagen.
PS: Mijn Australische working holiday visa is klaar, ik moet enkel 140 euro betalen. PSS: Beatriz en ik zijn geregistreerd op www.findacrew.net en zoeken naar een boot van Australie naar Amerika voor volgend jaar, Zuid of Noord, het is gelijk.
I surprised myself when I was actually awake to see the CL-games. Snoozing from 01h45 to 2h30, Kuyt just scored when I turned on the TV. I saw too that Standard was giving Arsenal a very hard first time, I can't believe they couldn't hold it. The second half I saw Inter - Barca, Messi is better than Eto and the whole Inter together.
TV in Laos shows a lot of sports, saw the final of Clijsters, and there premier league games on of 2005-2006 :-) I am having a ball these days in front of the TV.
PS: My Australian working holiday is almost done, I only have to pay the thing, 140 euros not peanuts. PSS: Beatriz and me are registered on www.findacrew.net and look for a boat to bring us from Australie to America next year, north or south is good for us.
16.09.09. Half-Round the world in 1 year / Kick off. 9th of April 2009, Mumbai, India’s biggest city, is our best destination to take the train south to Goa, Kerala and Bangalore. From there we go 4,000 km by train back to north India, see Karnataka, Rajasthan, the Taj Mahal, Varanasi and Nepal. In Nepal we do small treks in the Himalayas and visit Kathmandu. Over de friendship highway, the route goes from Kathmandu to Lhasa by jeep, maximum altitude 5250m and we get to see the Mount Everest. In Lhasa we take the train through China, see the Terracotta warriors in Xi'an, and go 3,500m north to enter Mongolia and arrive in Ulan Bator. In Mongolia we camp in the Khovsgol area near the Russian Siberia, and renew the Chinese Visa to go back south. The clock says 4 months when we trained through China and see Yunnan, South China with its wonderful terraced rice fields. We enter the tropics and after 6 months travels we are in Vietnam. 2 months after that, we should have seen Angkor, the beaches in Thailand & Maleysia ...<e.d. 25.10.09. There is a change of plan after Angkor: we fly from Bangkok to Manila, we go to the Philippines!!> and on a ferry to Indonesia. From either Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok, we find our way to Sydney and work for 3 months. We will have traveled for 1 year when we are in Oz and ... and ... and ... that is how far we planned. But we were supposed to come back in 1 year but we are only half around the world. Beatriz and myself love Asia!! So much for planning ahead and scheduling. Let's just see how we get on and the more exciting our trip will be. Wish us good luck on the trip!!
