Beste stripvrienden,
Modest is geil.
moest Modest echt schaterlachen.
geil geworden is.
BLAM! Er staan een
hoop korte verhaaltjes in het boekje. Getekend in verschillende stijlen. De
tekeningen zijn van een totaal ander gehalte. Hier is veel werk van gemaakt.
Mooi.
in vinden.
Schoon getekend.
Mooie vrouwen met dikke borsten.
Heel dikke borsten.
En nu gaat Modest afsluiten
want hij gaat in bad.
Een ijskoud bad zal Modest
goed doen.
Stel het goed,
waarde stripvrienden,
en tot de volgende keer.

In the near future, America's worst nightmare has come
true. With military adventurism overseas bogging down
the Army and National Guard, the U.S. government mistakenly
neglects the very real threat of anti-establishment
militias scattered across the 50 states. Like a sleeping
giant, Middle America rises up and violently pushes
its way to the shining seas, coming to a standstill
at the line in the sand Manhattan or, as the world
now knows it, the DMZ. Matty Roth, a naïve young man
and aspiring photojournalist, lands a dream gig following
a veteran war journalist into the heart of the DMZ.
Things soon go terribly wrong, and Matty finds himself
lost and alone in a world he's only seen on television.
There, he is faced with a choice: try to find a way
off the island, or make his career with an assignment
most journalists would kill for. But can he survive
in a war zone long enough to report the truth?

Collecting issues #18-22 of the acclaimed series by
Brian Wood! Matty Roth reluctantly lands an interview
for Liberty News with an enlisted U.S. solider who's
found guilty of a massacre within the DMZ. What follows
is a look at how the DMZ came to be, from the perspective
of a kid who came from the Midwest and walked right
into a nightmare.
After more then eight months Lost has finally returned, and
in just five episodes its already reminded me why its my
favorite show.
This season picks up right where the last one left off. There
are two enormous twists in the storyline that have altered
the show dramatically. The first is that "rescuers" have managed
to land on the island. I say rescuers in quotes because theyve
made it clear that saving the survivors of the crash is not
their main objective. The second major change is that instead
of splicing the island storyline with flashbacks of the survivors,
theyve changed it to flash-forwards, in which six of the
survivors, appropriately named the Oceanic Six, are back
in the real world. Not all of the members of the Oceanic Six
have been revealed yet, and they all share a common secret
that hasnt been revealed yet. Some speculations are that
there are survivors still on the island and the Oceanic Six
are lying about them all being dead for some reason. Whether
or not thats what the people on the island want them to say
is yet to be determined.
Get
Ready for Webcomics Column by Tyler Chin-Tanner - 2008
I came across this childrens book a few years ago while
teaching in Costa Rica. The school, while excelling in its
location, was short on supplies and got by mostly on hand-me-downs
from the U.S. So its safe to say the library wasnt exactly
up to date.
It was there that I discovered Get Ready for Robots, published
in 1986 for the purpose of preparing the youth of that day
and age for their inevitable future of living amongst robots.
Seriously, they were everywhere! In our homes, cooking our
food and washing our clothes, on the streets directing traffic,
doing repair work. Basically they had replaced the entire
service industry. There was no mention of the internet, cell-phones
or navigational systems. The future was all about robots.
Personally, I feel a bit gypped. Sure, you wouldnt be reading
this if it werent for the internet, but then my personal
robo-servant would be making me a smoothie right now.
I feel the same way about webcomics. Sure, its great that
we can view and download comics on the internet, but it doesnt
necessarily mean that weve now seen the future of comics
and that the printed form will be abandoned. We cant even
be sure that webcomics wont develop further into better versions.
Since I Found Serenity .
Column by William Gatevackes, 2008.
To me, Firefly was a show so good that I could kick myself
for not watching it when it first came on. Maybe if I did,
its original run might have lasted more than 11 episodes (3
unaired episodes were added to its Sci-Fi run). The show definitely
was one of the best, if not the best, genre based shows in
the last ten years. And yes, I am counting Heroes, Lost and
Battlestar Galactica on that list.
But instead, Firefly and its big screen sequel Serenity reside
in the land of the cult favorite. The chance of another TV
series or movie is remote at best. However, the franchise
lives on, as do all of Whedons creations, in the realm of
comic books. Tomorrows Serenity: Better Days is the second
miniseries to come from Dark Horse and takes place, like Serenity:
Those Left Behind, between the end of the TV series and the
start of the feature film.
Les Baranys Carnivora: The Dark Art of Automobiles
This one will be in English due to the effort the people behind Carnivora did. This book would never got as much personal attention from me as it does now. On my site they noticed that their book was available for preorder so they were so kind to provide me some material to work with.
Oh boy, I 'm so glad they did it. Because their artwork is truly amazing.
This one definitely rules !!
About the book Carnivora is a shadowy place where the dark communion of flesh and
machine coalesce into the 20th Centurys most influential creation-The
automobile. As an indispensable extension of ourselves, this metallic
doppelganger can be as dark and destructive as the men and women who
drive them. Carnivora: The Dark Art of Automobiles is a chilling
joyride with some of the most noir artists from the last half of the
20th century.
About Les Barany
Putting to good use his many years as an award winning advertising art
director and graphic designer, in the early 90s Leslie Barany shifted
his full attention to working as the representative of a unique group
contemporary fine artists and photographers. In recent years Les has
published several limited edition sculptures and art prints with H.R.
Giger and the James Dean portfolio with photographer Roy Schatt. He has
curated numerous art and photo exhibitions in galleries in the USA and
in Switzerland.

This powerful series is overseen by Alex Ross - who provides cover art and who has redesigned every hero within these pages - along with writer Jim Krueger and artist Carlos Paul, this is the most powerful comic book event of the year! Plus, each issue of the series features original character design art from Alex Ross himself!
by Yoshihiro Tatsumi Designed and edited by one of today's most popular cartoonists, Adrian Tomine, Good-Bye is the third volume in a groundbreaking new series that collects Tatsumi's short stories about Japanese urban life. Drawn in 1971 and 1972, these stories expand the prolific artist's vocabulary for characters contextualized by themes of depravity and disorientation in twentieth-century Japan. Some of the tales focus on the devastation the country felt directly as a result of World War II - a prostitute loses all hope when American GIs go home to their wives; a man devotes twenty years of his life to preserving the memory of those killed at Hiroshima, only to discover a horrible misconception at the heart of his tribute. Yet, while American influence does play a role in the disturbing and bizarre stories contained within this volume, it is hardly the overriding theme. A philanthropic foot fetishist, a rash-ridden retiree, and a lonely public onanist are but a few of the characters etching out darkly nuanced lives in the midst of isolated despair and fleeting pleasure.
by Jessica Abel, Gabe Soria & Warren Pleece Dave's in love with a girl who doesn't know he exists. He hates his job. His boss just turned him into a vampire. Life sucks. Undead life in its uncoolest incarnation yet is on display in this cinematic, supernatural drama told with gallons of humor and hemoglobin.
by Scott Morse Magic Pickle, or 'Weapon Kosher,' as his creator, Dr. Jekkel Formaldehyde likes to call him, is the product of a top-secret U.S. Army lab. Unfortunately, the 1950's experiments to turn vegetables into soldiers went wrong. Sure, they created Magic Pickle, the flying dill soldier, but they also let loose a bunch of rotten vegetables, like the Romaine Gladiator, Chili Chili Bang Bang, the Phantom Carrot, and Peashooter. This Brotherhood of Evil Produce is out to take over the world and they've started with art museum heists and bank robberies! Dr. Formaldehyde frees Magic Pickle from his cryogenic snooze so that Weapon Kosher can fight the Brotherhood. Unfortunately, Dr. F. forgot to tell MP he had been frozen in a lab hidden down below the home of young Jo Jo Wigman. Jo Jo's a feisty little girl who doesn't like flying pickles bursting up through her bedroom floor. But once she goes down to visit the secret lab, she realizes what's at stake - and once she talks to the Magic Pickle, she realizes this pickle is going to need some help saving the world, or at least getting around in it!
by Kevin Eastman & Simon Bisley Casey Jones and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Raphael, find themselves caught up in the middle of an international family murder/revenge/assassination plot, complete with gansters, thugs, secret agents, double agents and more spent shell casings than the D-Day invasion!
Steve Niles (w); Bernie Wrightson (a & c) Legendary comic book artist Bernie Wrightson inks his own work for the first time in more than two decades! And joining Wrightson on this noir horror tale is the writer who has revitalized both genres in comics, Steve Niles. Detective Coogan knows well that there are some pretty shady freaks out there in the big city but he doesn't know that some of those freaks ain't human. He learns it the hard way, and ends up on the wrong side of a bullet, all in the first issue of this new series that mixes horror and noir into a tightly wound nightmare of twists and turns.
John Byrne (w & a & c) In the 1990s, acclaimed writer/artist John Byrne created an all-new world of superheroes and explored their impact on the planet in a realistic way, a book that quickly became one of the most critically acclaimed titles in his storied career. Now John Byrne's Next Men is being collected in its entirety in thick B&W volumes that offer 300 pages of story and art. Volume 1 collects the 2112 graphic novel, the #0 issue, and the first 12 issues of this masterful run.
by Jessica Abel The first full-length graphic novel from the acclaimed young comics artist. This is an emotional, high velocity tale of a young woman named Carla who journeys to Mexico City in search of her true identity, only to discover a self she can hardly recognize. Jessica Abel's evocative black-and-white drawings and creative mix of English and Spanish bring Mexico City's past and present to life, unfurling Carla's dark history against the legacies of Burroughs and Kahlo. A story about the youthful desire to live an authentic life and the consequences of trusting easy answers, La Perdida - at once grounded in the particulars of life in Mexico and resonantly universal - is a story about finding oneself by getting lost.
by Sam Sarkar & Garrie Gastonny In the Old American West, Whitefeather is a half-Indian/half-French shaman with tormenting visions of an apocalyptic future where mankind has doomed itself after turning away from the law. He then has a further vision of mankind's salvation. He sees Arthur, the man who is destined to bring law to the world and the weapon that will bring about this change. A mystically-emblazoned gun, that can only be fired by one man, that will never miss and when aimed will bring down the heavens, firing thunder itself from its barrel. He sets out to find the legendary Caliber. An epic Western adventure like no other!
Fourteen hundred years ago, a tormented soul walked the earth that was neither man nor god. Hercules was the powerful son of the god king Zeus, for this he received nothing but suffering his entire life. After twelve arduous labors and the loss of his family, this dark, world-weary soul turned his back on the gods finding his only solace in bloody battle. Over the years he warmed to the company of six similar souls, their only bond being their love of fighting and presence of death. These men and woman never question where they go to fight or why or whom, just how much they will be paid. Now the King of Thrace has hired these mercenaries to train his men to become the greatest army of all time. It is time for this bunch of lost souls to finally have their eyes opened to how far they have fallen when they must train an army to become as ruthless and blood thirsty as their reputation has become. In the dark epic vein of Frank Millar's 300, Radical reinvents the Hercules legend like never before, behind a sumptuously rendered cover by Jim Steranko. Designs by jim Steranko, Weta Workshop and Imaginary Friends Studios.
A ganja-fueled road trip through the desert turns deadly in this shocking horror tale. On one last bender with his best friend on the eve of his wedding, Rishi crashes into and kills an old mystic known as a Kapalik. Rather than confessing their crime, they burn the body on the ghats of India's famed 'city of death' Varanasi and erase all evidence of the mystic's existence. It's a perfect cover-up, except for the fact that you can destroy a Kapalik's physical body, but his soul forever lingers...and in this case seeks bloody revenge.
It gets the benefit of the doubt !!
is!
'I shall destroy all the civilized planets!'(Fantagraphics) is
ene Fletcher Hanks. Enorm gedateerde Superheldenverhaaltjes die zodanig
idioot zijn dat ze weer grappig worden. Met oneliners als: 'We'll take
over the whole world!' 'This monstrous outrage must be stopped!'
crimineel in handen: 'You tried to destroy the heads of a great nation,
so your own head shall be destroyed!'
Waanzin
ten top.
Afrader van de week:
Nylon Man van Hermann.
Helaas, niets is
minder waar.Saaie Flauwekul.
obscure site.
Maar daar doet Modest niet aan mee!
Meestal.
Dat was het weer,
waarde stripvrienden,
bij leven en welzijn,
tot binnenkort,
de u zeer toegenegen

In the mid 1970s a comics magazine was
published containing some of the most exciting epic
fantasy tales the world has ever known-The Savage Sword
of Conan. Based off of the work of renowned author Robert
E. Howard, each issue offered multiple thrilling tales
of the legendary barbarian. The magazine was also a
showcase of comics talent, headed up by Conan aficionado
Roy Thomas. Now for the first time ever, these stories
are being collected in a series of omnibus-style books,
with over five hundred pages of classic sword and sorcery-for
the complete Conan collector! Included in this volume
are tales featuring the stunning art of such comics
luminaries as Barry Windsor-Smith, John Buscema, Alfredo

Silent Hill: Sinner's Reward #1
Review by Dave Baxter, 2008.
After a movie and several comic book mini-series, all of
which replayed the sensibilities and general intent of their
source material (well, except for the movie, which was perhaps
too much of its own beast), Silent Hill at last gets a spin-off
thats strong enough to stand on its own two feet and yet
embody all that makes the games the bloody horror-filled goodness
they are, and yet its also a story that works as a story.
...
All in all, Sinners Reward is an excellent horror book, and
for once, its a book enhanced for being a franchise-related
thing rather than a pure stand alone. Waltz utilizes the legendary
status of Hill to superb effect, and when coupled with Stambs
pages, the actual comic becomes something rare to find. So
take advantage and enjoy this. We wont, likely, get another
like it anytime soon.

The big news for tomorrow is that Alex Ross, Jim Krueger
and Carlos Paul take over Daredevil. I know what you might
be saying. The Marvel solicitations say that tomorrows issue
wraps up the Without Fear arc or No, youre confused.
Greg Rucka is joining Ed Brubaker for a future Daredevil arc,
not Alex Ross!
You would be right. But I am right also. Ross and company
arent taking over the red-suited, tendency for dead girlfriends,
Marvel hero. He is taking over comicdoms first Daredevil,
the one created almost 68 years ago.
...
The story revolves around Fighting Yank, now an old man.
Back in the waning days of World War II, he imprisoned his
fellow superheroes in an urn called Pandoras Box. He believed
that it was the only way to get rid of evil in the world.
He was wrong because evil has a stronger hold on the world
than ever before. Now, he must find a way to free the heroes,
before it is too late.
Marvel Zombies 2 #5.
Column by William Gatevackes, 2008.
Some people, and I was one of them, didnt think that it
was possible for the first Marvel Zombie series to have a
sequel. After all, most of the Earth was already devoured
by the Iron Man and the rest of his Zombie crew. And the few
survivors left wouldnt last an issue, let alone five. But
the zombie popularity craze that has infected the world meant
that a sequel was inevitable.
Credit goes to Robert Kirkman for making the sequel so enjoyable.
He plays on concepts and ideas established in the first series,
and took them in fresh and unexpected directions, all the
while poking just a little bit of fun at Marvels Civil War
series in the process. Pundits say the zombie trend is on
its way out. Will this be the last sequel? Well have to see.

Writer Mat Johnson (HELLBLAZER: PAPA MIDNITE), winner of the
prestigious Hurston-Wright Legacy Award for fiction, constructs a
fearless graphic novel that is both a page-turning mystery and a
disturbing exploration of race and self-image in America, masterfully
illustrated with rich period detail by Wareen Pleece (THE INVISIBLES,
HELLBLAZER).
In the early 20th Century, when lynchings were commonplace
throughout the American South, a few courageous reporters from the
North risked their lives to expose these atrocities. They were
African-American men who, due to their light skin color, could 'pass'
among the white folks. They called this dangerous assignment going
'incognegro.' Zane Pinchback, a reporter for the New York-based New
Holland Herald barely escapes with his life after his latest
'incognegro' story goes bad. But when he returns to the sanctuary of
Harlem, he's sent to investigate the arrest of his own brother, charged
with the brutal murder of a white woman in Mississippi. With a lynch
mob already swarming, Zane must stay 'incognegro' long enough to
uncover the truth behind the murder in order to save his brother - and
himself. He finds that the answers are buried beneath layers of
shifting identities, forbidden passions and secrets that run far deeper
than skin color.

The comic industry can be very fickle and unpredictable.
It can often be difficult to get fans to buy a new book and
then hold their interest in the title. So it is certainly
an accomplishment when a creator owned book, without super
heroes in it last for 60 issues. That is exactly what Y: The
Last Man creators Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra have done.
Y: The Last man fits nicely next to other significant Vertigo
works such as Sandman, Preacher and Transmetropolitan.
...
I am going to miss this book terribly. Even though there were
points in the run where things got a bit slow, it was a consistently
good read and always found its way to the top of my weekly
stack. My Y: The Last Man trades are still my most often lent
trades, giving them to people who are already into comics,
and to those who have never walked into a comic shop. I grew
to love Yorick and his ilk, and as Vaughan told CNN, "It'll
be a drag not to get to spend more time with these characters."
Hats of to Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra.
Springing from the pages of the Messiah CompleX comes a brand
new X-Force series. But this one isnt your fathers (well,
actually, older brothers) X-Force. This team is even grimmer
and grittier than ever before.
Cyclops has decided that there are some threats that must
be dealt withpermanently. So he gathers the best trackers
the X-Men have to offerWarpath, Wolverine, X-23, and Wolfsbaneand
forms his own dark ops group. They do the dirty jobs no one
else can do, and the ones no one else can know about.
The tactic of putting the X into exterminate is sure to be
a controversial change to the X-Men mythos. Only question
I have is how long it will take before Kyle and Yost build
up the same body count they had in New X-Men.
Four Plus Two.
Column by William Gatevackes, 2008.
This week, Marvel is starting a new era on the title that
could very well bring the Fantastic Four back into the limelight.
This is the week when superstar creators Mark Millar and Bryan
Hitch take over the series.
When it came time for Marvel to do a version of the Avengers
for their burgeoning Ultimates line, they tapped the team
of Hitch and Millar. Im sure the creators work on two separate
arcs of Wildstorms The Authority had something to do with
it. Perhaps Marvel thought that Hitchs panoramic, widescreen
style from the first twelve issues of that series would mix
well with the bombastic, over-the-top style of Millars writing
on issue 13 and on.
The duo combined to make The Ultimates the comic book equivalent
of a summer blockbuster. The book was an action-packed extravaganza
with just a hint of subversive and shocking content which
captured the fans fancy. It quickly became the one of the
lines best selling books.
' ' ALBERT & THE OTHERS is zo een lekker tussendoortje.

Will EisnersTHE SPIRIT
Action/adventureFeb. 4th , 2009
Adapted from the legendary graphic novels, WILL EISNERS THE SPIRIT is a classic action-adventure-romance told by genre-twister FRANK MILLER (creator of 300 and SIN CITY).
It is the story of a former rookie cop who returns mysteriously from the dead as the SPIRIT (Gabriel Macht) to fight crime and shoadows of Central City. His arch-enemy, the OCTOPUS (Samuel L. Jackson) has a different mission: hes going to wipe out Spirits beloved city as he pursues his own version of immortality. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted killer from Central Citys rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront all the while facing a bevy of beautiful woman who either want to seduce, love or kill our masked crusader.
Surrounding him at every turn are ELLEN DOLAN (Sarah Paulson), the whip-smart girl-next-door; SILKEN FLOSS (Scarlett Johansson), a punk secretary and frigid vixen, PLASTER OF PARIS (Paz Vega), a murderous French nightclub dancer; LORELEI (Jaime King), a phantom siren; and MORGENSTERN (Stana Katic), a sexy young cop.
Then of course, theres a SAND SAREF (Eva Mendes), the jewel thief with dangerous curves. Shes the love of his life turned bad. Will he save her or will she kill him ?
In the vein of BATMAN BEGINS and SIN CITY, THE SPIRIT takes us on a sinister, gut-wrenching ride with a hero who is born, murdered and born again.

To all those
fanboys who have stayed awake in the dead of night, sweating,
wriggling, and giggling at the fanciful thought of owning a comic book
store, this essay is dedicated.
Considering only 99% of you would only harm yourselves and the
profession if you got your clammy mitts on a storefront, I hope this
proves to be a highly discouraging read. To that 1% who would bring
love and guts to the endeavor, I salute you, and I hope my own lessons
learned help you avoid many of my costly mistakes. ...
Firstly, there are two fundamental, cardinal rules one must follow if they are to retain their sanity and any kind of financial solvency:
Rule #1 - If you are responsible for a family, DO NOT open a comic book store. Now, that will disqualify many of you right off the bat, and believe you me, Im giving you one of the best pieces of advice youll ever receive. Why is that? Well, my answer to that query is best addressed by
Rule #2 -The comic book retail business is a brutal, merciless, unforgiving struggle for survival that demands absolute commitment, especially in the early years. If you have to divide your time between running a shop and tending to a family, you will fail utterly, and perhaps in both areas (the former one can get past; the latter will dog you for the rest of your life). In any new business, it often takes at least a few years to turn a regular profit, and this is especially the case in this industry (reasons why to be addressed shortly). In addition to running my storefront, I have a regular, full time job, and Im finally just beginning to catch up with debt. If you dont have the fanatical will and dedication necessary to endure the inevitable struggles and setbacks, then dont bother. Running a store well requires love, imagination, and a sense of fun; the comic book retail business is too hard to do it for any other reason. Yes, I firmly believe money can be made, but it takes years. Keep in mind that people dont need comics like they need food, clothes, transportation, shelter, etc. (although some of the more colorfully dysfunctional enthusiasts of the hobby may stir themselves from couch and console to disagree). Hence, you cant expect the kind of traffic flow youd see in a supermarket or a clothing store (unless were referring to one of the mega-sized city comic book stores, of which there are only a handful, and if youre reading this, then chances are you dont have the capital necessary for such a colossal venture). Loving the product, and letting that show in your stores appearance, displays, discounts, reading recommendations, and general attitude will carry you through (with a whole heap of luck to boot), but it will take time, with many ups and downs along the way. Stores short on that love, and long on sleaze, greed, and sterility are what give this field a bad image. There are still way too many of them out there.

Legion of Super-Heroes #38
by Chris Tinkler, 2008.
Jim Shooters return continues to bring the magic back to
the Legion of Super-Heroes whatever that means.
Now, this is a comic book! Growing up a Marvel kid, Id only
heard stories about the Legion. Id never *gotten* the "magic"
that the Legion of Super-Heroes fans saw. The characters appeared
generic, and lacked any kind of personality that would normally
draw me into a series. Too many characters, not enough character.
A common complaint when it comes to larger team-oriented books,
to be sure... the Legion, especially, what with their interchangeable
roster and simple (in my opinion, at the time) character design.
Jim Shooters heralded return was what led me to giving the
Legion of Super-Heroes another chance, and Im sure glad I
did. Each page is packed with incredibly detailed characterization,
which is aided perfectly by Francis Manapuls beautiful pencils.
My introduction to Manapul was through Aspens Iron and the
Maiden, in which I felt that he was more interested in aping
Joe Madureira rather than using his own style (which, if his
work on Legion is any indication has more of a Pasqual Ferry-feel
to it).
Cap
Is Dead. Long Live Cap! William Gatevackes - 2008
Outrage does not begin to describe what I felt when I heard
that Marvel was going to kill off Captain America. Not only
do I think that death is too often used to for cheap shock
value, but Captain America is my second favorite Marvel character
(right behind The Beast). I have almost every comic he appeared
in since the late 1960s. And I am guilty of what most comic
fans are guilty ofbeing perhaps too personally attached to
their favorite characters.
I found out about the events of Captain America #25 like
most of the comics fans did, by reading the news that morning.
Blessed with a slow news day, Marvel received nationwide mainstream
attention for the story the day the comic hit the stands.
The contents of the issue were revealed before many comic
stores even opened for business.
Very Short Notes on the Industry.
Beth Davies-Stofka, 2008.
The Times Online published
a quick look at the recent trend to recruit bestselling
novelists to write comics. I was interested to read Ian Rankin's
comment that most of the work involves writing instructions
to the artist. I wonder why novelists couldn't leave more
of the visualization in the artist's hands. Are they instructed
by their editors to imitate Alan Moore, or are they just too
far away from the artists, or too disinclined to use the internet,
to engage in a deeper collaboration?
Time will tell if this trend leaves a mark on comics. Jodi
Picoult's run on Wonder Woman is as forgettable as every other
writer's to date on the 2007 relaunch, while Michael Chabon
has done wonderful things with The Escapist (his own character).
Meanwhile, the growing bond between comics and the Hollywood
entertainment complex has left some analysts alarmed, but
I'm puzzled by the concern. Isn't the search for new markets
on page one of the capitalist's handbook?
