So...this morning after playing with Tommy and Boomer, Mausie went to the clinic to be sterilized.

Of course I was there with her when she was anaetisized, sterilized and when she woke up.

As I had an appointment with the cardiologist for my heart, Mausie stayed at the clinic until 7 pm.

I must admit it was very quiet at home without her this afternoon and the pack of dogs didn't really understand what had happened.

Anyways everybody checked her out coming home.

Meanwhile she and the wound has been torched so she will be able to pass the night painfree.

And yes... she will be allowed to sleep with me tonight if she wants to

What a week & what a weekend again.
After a few sleepless nights I burried Mamachick yesterday.
Thought it would be good to get out and away for a few hours and help a friend in the afternoon.
As always my dear friend & neighbour Tony came to watch out for the animals and if he calls me... I know something is WRONG !!!
And yes he called;;;for the 1 time ever... Boomer not being able to walk on his leg anymore...
So off to the ranch to find Boomer in pain, not able to walk on the leg which was burning hot.
If that was not enough my young stagiar/helper locked the horses in the wrong paddocks so they broke out and broke fences down.
And the one they left up was dangerously put so a horse could easily cut himself walking by.
Later at night I had a howling rescuecat come home... 

Torch has done overtime this weekend and I ve been playing nursy nurse...
Boomer has had several icepacks on him and good for him the scar burst open... yep my boy has an infection in the leg.
Balou on the other hand got some Hodernal as he told me he had bellyaches and trouble going to the toilet...
Fun fun it is not when rescues are sick, but I'm there for them just as my vets
