What am I thinking of, Renée wrote... and it made me think... What am I thinking of today ???
Exactly 1 week after my mom's birthday, it's Maurice's birthday... the
man because of whom I left Belgium over a decade ago...after his sudden
& brutal death I could not stay & live in our house without
him...I wanted out and away... So I did as soon as I could sell it 2
years later.
Too sad he has
missed this past decade in Spain, he would have loved to ride his bike
in these mountains overhere ...and the animals, because he was a real
animallover, something I never saw anymore in any man untill recently...
Happy birthday today Maurice, I still think a lot of you & I hope
you are riding your motorbike everyday...where ever you are. Give a hug
to my mom when you see her and give her a ride...she would love it !
I'll come and visit you guys in ... 30 years or so hahahaha
Wow, I just had a great Skypemeeting with Rob McLaren, Managing Director of A.P.T. in Australia. Great stories to hear & to tell. Loved the ideas !!! We've been helping horses & dogs (cats) for many years now, this year birds & Photonic came into the picture, next year it will be ....... Incredible !!!!
Eindelijk is het dan zo ver. Eindelijk hebben we een bankrekening kunnen openen voor de vereniging zonder winstgevend doel Whispering Rescue Ranch.... Nu nog een manier zoeken om ook hulp van anderen te krijgen bij het redden en verzorgen en plaatsen van de dieren.

Boomer doet het goed.
Het herstel is voorspoedig...natl. ook dankzij de torch waarvan hij dagelijks een sessie krijgt. Pijnstilling (met uitzondering van de torch dan) heeft ie niet gehad en ook geen antibioticaspuiten...alles verloopt prima dus waarom inspuiten ? Gelukkig kan mijn DA dit blog niet lezen, hihihi, anders zou ie misschien wel eens kwaad kunnen worden.
A few pics from Boomer from yesterday... On our way home after the OP...he was SOOOO happy Home he went to sleep again in his TShirt...well mine, but heck...he can have it... A pic from the cut...a lot of stitches inside and a lot on the outside +10 cm... A big wound we need to protect from any fly !...and therefor the Tshirt ! He is doing great ! He's getting torched 2 a day and running normal ! The growth was in his muscle but Juan cut it out like a pro ! We are very happy with the result !
On
our way to the clinic Boomer saw my neighbour Tony again, who just got
back from the UK at 4 am. this morning (after 5 months absence). My
Neighbour Tony kept Boomer at his place for a few weeks after I saved
Boomer in 2010 so he could recuperate in peace, with me being there
almost every day... Boomer didn't get it straight away what was going on this morning....Yeahhhh he's back
Boomie is doing great ! I thank the chief of the hospital, Juan Manuel Griñan, for the wonderful OP he did on Boomer ! With me watching it all and being there the whole time (pics will follow !!!!) They were surely surprised with the action on FB that was organized by myself and the sponsor! Hahahahahaha But all what counts now is BOOMERRRRRR, I hope the results won't be too bad for him... Anyways he 's sleeping now, got torched again tonight, so he won't have any pain/itching/and only nice dreams... Boomie BOOMS this world !
