    Compost Dustbin?

Here’s the thing, you know you have to recycle waste, and many of us go through the motions, but there’s a percentage that finds excuses for not doing so. With the Braun Envi urban dustbin, you are actually doing your bit by “promoting composting from biodegradable waste.” Basically when you toss your apple core into this bin, bio-reactive substances based on photo catalysis start doing their job and rehashes the trash as compost. The substances also remove odors and speed up the process. The idea is to use these huge bins in public spaces, where people can drop their biodegradable trash, and the compost be collected and used later on.

    Because I Like Fresh Air

Plants still do a much better job at sequestering carbon into oxygen than anything else. They naturally filter the air too and that’s why our green friends are a-okay with me. Problem is my green thumb is cursed. I can’t even keep a cactus alive. The O2 air purifier takes the pain out of the game. Place your potted plant on the O2 and water as usual. Excess water is evaporated and the system accelerates the process of photosynthesis, not to mention keeps tabs on our green friends so you’ll always know when they need water.µ

Our roofs are oft left neglected coz most of us don’t have green thumbs to transform them into roof gardens. If the inclination is there, then these modular pots called Natural Protector can come in quite handy. What they do is they open up on all four sides to form a waterproof layout-base for growing plants. A network of these opened-up pots on your rooftop plus a couple of fancy seedlings, and you’re good to go.

Look at this lovely table you see here, then let me introduce you to the plants it’s got growing on it. Tillandsias, also known as Air Plants grow without soil, feeding instead on the moisture it finds in the air (dust, decaying leaves and insect matter). These plants rely on a host structure for support, but don’t worry, the table wasn’t alive to begin with.*

But then again, the table wouldn’t be killed by this whole ordeal, as *the Tillandsias that grow on top of it use a host structure simply for structural support. Seems like a fair deal to me.

These tables are made for the freshening of a home, as the Tillandsias absorb CO2 from the air and produce oxygen in the night. The table is the perfect vessel for this magical transmission, as it’s right in the center of all the action. That’s where the cat usually is in my apartment. No chewie, kitty!
