Beyond time

Somehow,

you know.

Your time has come.

Yet, you hold on.

You don't want to let go.

It's too early, no?

Another day passes by.

No no, not yet goodbye!

Inevitable though, and you know,

that moment will come, to go.

     Time stops.

     Eternity pops.

You feel uplifted.

Somehow, something shifted.

You wonder : “where am I?”

Then, dear ones come nigh.

Slowly dawns recognition,

amazed you are, by the transition.

More gather in warm embrace,

a hearty welcome on every face.

They emanate their love,

unworldly, from above.

     Only in family reunited,

     can eternal peace be ignited.
