Twin Soul

For Seppe, my soul brother

Dawn of time was not long past,

our family commenced it's journey.

How long would it last ?

Experiences as always, abundant,

to serve soul's evolution.

None, were ever, redundant.

Side by side, unwavering, we stood,

facing all life offered.

God, was it ever good !!

Civilization seemingly reaching it's acme,

mother and son, sharing perfect harmony.

From heaven and earth struck apocalyptic downfall,

it's memory still lingers within us all.

Suddenly, violently, abruptly, separated.

Our pain still hasn't abated.

Our souls' search started.

So often would we, again, be parted.

Your beautiful, radiant eyes so laden with sadness,

I recognized them, or … was it madness ?

Our family's traits, one by one, you disclosed.

My joy soared high: no circumstances opposed.

Only soul's eyes behold true reality,

yours saw through the veil

and, ecstatically, recognized my long sought identity.

Human eyes – by nature – are restricted.

Society conditioned,

they were not in favor of what I depicted.

Unconditionally, for ever, my love is thine.

For now on a higher level,

with the promise of physicality for a next time.
