LOS ANGELES - With less than two weeks before Extreme Rules unleashes itself upon the WWE Universe the STAPLES Center stood witness to a monumental announcement which revealed ECWs contribution to the Extreme pay-per-view, as well as what one ECW Original agreed to do to make it happen.
Jack Swagger, David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd def. ECW Champion Christian & Tommy Dreamer (Handicap Match) (VIDEO | PHOTOS) In response to Jack Swaggers ongoing complaints of Christian cheating in their last two title matches and The All-American Americans interference in the ECW Championship Match between Christian and Tommy Dreamer last week on WWE Superstars, ECW General Manager Tiffany took Extreme action. She announced an ECW Championship Triple Threat Hardcore Match at Extreme Rules between the three volatile Superstars (Match preview). In order to take part in the match and finally get a fair opportunity at once more holding the gold above his head, Dreamer agreed to sign a one-day extension to his self-made deadline to win the Extreme title or go home for good. (VIDEO)
After the announcement, an aggressive Dreamer forcefully expelled both Swagger and Christian from the ring.
Later, Dreamer and Christian continued to show their frustration, as a heated disagreement in the back quickly escalated into a physical altercation. As Finlay was trying to break the two Superstars up, he was injured, making it impossible for him to compete in the main event. As a result, Dreamer and Christian had to face their a opponents in a Handicap Match.
In the explosive Match later that night, Swagger and The Hart Dynasty prevailed with a two on three advantage, with Swagger hitting the Gutwrench Powerbomb after throwing Christian into the unforgiving steel ring post. Following the bell, Dreamer attacked Swagger, only to fall victim to the Hart Dynasty's Hart Attack.
Evan Bourne def. Mark Henry (Count-out) (VIDEO | PHOTOS) In the culmination of an action-packed match that pitted two of ECWs most polar-opposite Superstars against each other, Air Bourne claimed victory over Henry by the skin of his teeth, beating The Worlds Strongest Man and the count into the ring.

- After CM Punk defeated Dolph Ziggler at the SmackDown/ECW live event last night in Las Cruces, NM, a young fan said to be around nine-years old hopped the barrier and jumped in the ring to hug Punk while he celebrated. A fan in attendance says security pulled the kid from under the ropes with one hand by his leg, causing him to fall on his face.

Big Show, WWE Champion Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase & The Miz
LOS ANGELES After the media whirlwind that surrounded this week's Raw, the WWE Universe answered criticism from the owner of the Denver Nuggets, E. Stan Kroenke, loud and clear Monday night: "Guess what, E. Stan? We don't need you!" Despite having only three days notice to purchase tickets, the STAPLES Center rattled with some of the WWE Universe's most faithful and dedicated admirers. And for that, WWE Universe, we offer our sincere thanks!
John Cena, Batista, United States Champion MVP, Jerry The King Lawler & Mr. Kennedy def. WWE Champion Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Big Show & The Miz Sporting Denver Nuggets jerseys, Big Show, WWE Champion Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase & The Miz entered the ring to face off against their five opponents, who came to the ring clad in L.A. Lakers tops: John Cena, Batista, United States Champion MVP, Jerry The King Lawler & returning Mr. Kennedy.
As Lawler and Rhodes kicked off the battle for their respective teams, alliances were on shaky ground, especially since The Worlds Largest Athlete seemed determined that he alone would end the match by making Cena tap out.
The raucous crowd cheered on the returning Mr. Kennedy, who survived an onslaught from WWEs Nuggets squad. Finally, the Green Bay Grappler managed to mount an offense and tag in Cena. The Champ then tagged in MVP, who, to an arena of cheers, secured the win for WWEs Lakers when he pinned Rhodes. (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Goldust & Hornswoggle def. The Brian Kendrick & Festus It looks like the search continues for The Brian Kendrick. The ego-maniac vowed to the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo that he will find The Tag Team Partner and defeat the brothers to capture the Unified Tag Team Titles. After teaming with Festus and losing to Goldust & Hornswoggle, however, it looks as if Kendricks quest continues. Especially after Kendrick lambasted Festus post-match only to have the brothers ring the match bell, sending Festus on a tear after his tormentor. (PHOTOS)

Ric Flair called out Randy Orton; Mr. Kennedy announced he will return in the nights 5-on-5 main event As a 16-time World Champion, Ric Flair wasnt about to let an arrogant Superstar like WWE Champion Randy Orton get away with sucker-punching him last week after the The Viper match with Batista. The Nature Boy called out his former Evolution partner, slapping him across the face and insisting that the two fight like men.
The Legend Killer attacked until another Evolution member, Batista, came to break things up. At that point, Orton left the ring and found himself standing before another crowd favorite, Mr. Kennedy. The Green Bay Grappler made a surprise appearance and defended Flair before revealing that he was the fifth mystery member that would compete in the 5-on-5 main event! (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Kofi Kingston def. Matt Hardy and William Regal in Triple Threat Match to earn a U.S. Title Match on the next Raw With the current United States Champion MVP looking on intently, Kofi Kingston, Matt Hardy and William Regal battled in a Triple Threat Match for an opportunity to take on WWEs Franchise Playa for the title.
Some questioned whether or not Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero was simply paying back favors by allowing Hardy and Regal into the match in the first place. After all, Hardy had helped Vickies husband, Edge, prevail at Judgment Day while Regal ensured Guerrero captured the Miss WrestleMania title last week after beating down Santina.
Despite their questionable entry, neither Hardy nor Regal could capitalize as the Jamaican Superstar bested Hardy for the victory and the right to battle for the United States Championship next week on Raw against his friend MVP. (PHOTOS | WATCH)

Mr. McMahon confronted Denver Nuggets owner E. Stan Kroenke; Superstars scuffled before Raws 5-on-5 main event Mr. McMahon isnt exactly the forgiving type. Which made a confrontation between the WWE Chairman and one "E. Stan Kroenke" virtually inevitable.
As has been reported extensively throughout the week, the owner of the Denver Nuggets, Kroenke had unceremoniously booted Monday Night Raw from Denvers Pepsi Center in favor of allowing his team to play the Los Angeles Lakers there in an NBA playoff game, despite the fact that WWE had reserved the Pepsi Center last August.
As anyone who is familiar with Mr. McMahon might guess, things didnt go so well for E. Stan when he showed up at L.A.s STAPLES Center to berate the WWE Universe. During his rant, the Chairman showed up and revealed Kroenkes first name: Enos. Mr. McMahon then shoved the blowhard billionaire, leaving him flat against the canvas.
In the wake of Mr. McMahon teaching Kroenke a lesson, The Miz strutted out to reveal his favorite NBA team: The Cleveland Cavaliers. The self-important Superstar went on to repeat his claim of being undefeated against John Cena. The bogus boast brought Cena out to confront Miz, which unleashed a barrage of Superstars who will also competed in Raws 5-on-5 main event, including Big Show, Jerry The King Lawler, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase and Batista.
While the scuffle between these warring sides proved brief, sparks flew later that night when Cena, Batista, MVP, Lawler & a fifth player faced off against WWE Champion Randy Orton, Rhodes, DiBiase, Miz & Big Show. (PHOTOS | WATCH)

Shawn Michaels recently told WWE officials that he is looking at taking more time off than originally planned. The idea is that Shawn is financially set for life and his kids are at that age where they like him around and he realizes that's a short window.
The original plan was for Shawn to return at WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view but he asked to stay out until late this year or early 2010, in time for a good angle at WrestleMania next year. Of course all of this could change depending on what he's thinking and if any top WWE Superstars come down with injury. Back in 2007, Shawn was talking about staying out longer after knee problems and when John Cena tore his pec, Shawn ended up returning earlier than he wanted.
Shawn has also made more noise about retiring at WrestleMania but at other times he's said he doesn't see why he can't make occasional appearances like Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan have, until he's well into his 50's, which is a long way away. He has also mentioned that once his kids are teenagers, being at home so much won't be as important and at that point he'd be more open to spending more time on the road.
As of last week, Jeff Hardy had continued to turn down all offers made to him by WWE. Hardy had been adamant in recent months that he wanted time off, which led to a lot of the workers privately championing him as he's bucking the usual fear that if you walk away, you won't be utilized down the line by management. As of last week, WWE was still pushing him Hard to sign a new deal, offering him basically everything from a 12-18 month deal to a 3-5 year deal just to lock him in, but Hardy continued to say he was leaving to take time off, possiblyto work on some sort of "reality" project. No word on where things stand as Matt Hardy wrote a blog last week that made people believe Jeff and WWE had reached a new deal on Tuesday. That blog really could have meant anything though and it is not at all confirmed that Jeff has re-signed with the company.
Ric Flair and WWE have agreed to terms for him to return for the next 4-6 weeks. There are several reasons why this has gone down. WWE wants to use the time period as a bridge to keep from bringing Triple H back against Randy Orton as the plan has been to headline them against each other at Summerslam in the Hell in A Cell.
Flair has been pushing hard to come back as a wrestler as financially, between alimony issues with his ex-wife Tiffany and upcoming legal-related costs regarding his son Reid, Flair realizes he's going to be hurting. His belief is that if he "can just wrestle again" he'll quickly make a ton of money to help offset those expenses, so he's completely motivated by what he can make at this point. Flair has been hoping to do some sort of return match in WWE and have their approval to return so he can take some big money offers in Japan. There has been talk of Flair wrestling at Extreme Rules but it's a Vince McMahon call and he hasn't been high on allowing that yet.
Flair has not signed a WWE deal and will still be making all of his independent and ROH appearances.
- Awesome Kong hurt her hand during her match against Angelina Love at last night's TNA Sacrifice pay-per-view. Apparently the injury happened on a spot where she connected with the ring post. No word on the severity of the injury but it was said to be quite swollen last night.
- Stevie Richards had several small lacerations in his back after being chokeslammed by Abyss on the tacks last night after Daffney vs. Taylor Wilde.
- Raisha Saeed, Awesome Kong and Savio Vega were seen at a pub in Orlando hanging out after the pay-per-view.

TNA has started putting wrestlers that will no longer be used on television on restructured deals as opposed to releasing them from the company. These new deals allow the wrestlers who aren't being used to have more power to book themselves as they see fit as opposed to working around the TNA schedule. Jacqueline/Jackie Moore is believed to be someone who is under a deal like this at the moment in TNA, although there was said to be plans to bring her back as a full-time wrestler down the line.
Brett DiBiase defeats Dylan Klein Sweet Papi Sanchez and Kafu defeats Troy Jackman and Jon Cutler Sheamus O'Shaunessy defeats Justin Angel Sebastian Slater and Festus defeats Trent Baretta and Caylen Croft
As reported earlier, former WWE Women's Champion Victoria is expected to debut in TNA Wrestling imminently. Upon her debut, she will go under her real name, Lisa Marie Varon.
One idea talked about for Varon is that will be introduced as a patient of Dr. Stevie. She would then be slotted into the storyline with Abyss, Daffney and Taylor Wilde.
