Ric Flair and WWE have agreed to terms for him to return for the next 4-6 weeks. There are several reasons why this has gone down. WWE wants to use the time period as a bridge to keep from bringing Triple H back against Randy Orton as the plan has been to headline them against each other at Summerslam in the Hell in A Cell.
Flair has been pushing hard to come back as a wrestler as financially, between alimony issues with his ex-wife Tiffany and upcoming legal-related costs regarding his son Reid, Flair realizes he's going to be hurting. His belief is that if he "can just wrestle again" he'll quickly make a ton of money to help offset those expenses, so he's completely motivated by what he can make at this point. Flair has been hoping to do some sort of return match in WWE and have their approval to return so he can take some big money offers in Japan. There has been talk of Flair wrestling at Extreme Rules but it's a Vince McMahon call and he hasn't been high on allowing that yet.
Flair has not signed a WWE deal and will still be making all of his independent and ROH appearances.

TNA has started putting wrestlers that will no longer be used on television on restructured deals as opposed to releasing them from the company. These new deals allow the wrestlers who aren't being used to have more power to book themselves as they see fit as opposed to working around the TNA schedule. Jacqueline/Jackie Moore is believed to be someone who is under a deal like this at the moment in TNA, although there was said to be plans to bring her back as a full-time wrestler down the line.
Brett DiBiase defeats Dylan Klein Sweet Papi Sanchez and Kafu defeats Troy Jackman and Jon Cutler Sheamus O'Shaunessy defeats Justin Angel Sebastian Slater and Festus defeats Trent Baretta and Caylen Croft
As reported earlier, former WWE Women's Champion Victoria is expected to debut in TNA Wrestling imminently. Upon her debut, she will go under her real name, Lisa Marie Varon.
One idea talked about for Varon is that will be introduced as a patient of Dr. Stevie. She would then be slotted into the storyline with Abyss, Daffney and Taylor Wilde.
Lisa Marie Varon, who wrestled for a number of years in World Wrestling Entertainment as Victoria, is joining TNA Wrestling, reports The Sun.
Quite like Bobby Lashley, she will be doing both MMA and professional wrestling simultaneously.
In a recent blog on her MySpace account, Varon noted meeting TNA president Dixie Carter at the UFC Fight Night show in Nashville on April 1st.
Varon said she'd be lying if the thought of working for TNA never crossed her mind, although she claimed they had yet to contact her regarding a position in the company.
Her no-compete clause with WWE recently expired, so she would able to debut soon.

Jeff Hardy def. World Heavyweight Champion Edge (Non-title) (Hardy picks stipulation for Extreme Rules World Championship Match) (VIDEO | PHOTOS) While Edge saw his Judgment Day victory over Jeff Hardy as proof that he is both the true face of SmackDown and superior to The Charismatic Enigma, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long saw it as "an atrocity," caused by the cast-wielding interference of Matt Hardy. Long decided he would make a rematch at Extreme Rules between The Rated-R Superstar and The Charismatic Enigma. Hardy soon emerged, proposing that he and The World Heavyweight Champion have a match on SmackDown, with the winner choosing the stipulation in their Extreme Rules match in three weeks. (VIDEO | PHOTOS)
Later that night, after a brutal match of consequence, Hardy triumphed over Edge with the Swanton Bomb. The Punjabi Playboy menacingly pursued Ziggler, who barely escaped amidst the cheering members of the WWE Universe after R-Truth hit the Corkscrew elbow.
In his latest WWE Universe blog, Tommy Dreamer addressed internet rumors regarding his future. He basically said that he was not retiring if he left WWE, but if he didn't win the ECW belt, he wasn't going to Smackdown or RAW.
In regard to reports that Dreamer was offered a new deal, Dreamer wrote the following: "WWE offered me a new contract about a month before I made my speech. WWE offered me a three year deal which was great. I have no problems with WWE. I spoke to Vince McMahon and told him my feelings and career aspirations and he fully supported them. I am a man that has to set goals and is responsible for my actions. I am not one to hang around and collect a paycheck. I did this to prove something to the fans and to myself."
Dreamer also commented on the apparent rumors he was TNA bound: "I have close relationships with many of their wrestlers. I have nothing but great things to say about Dixie Carter. I have tons of respect for Jeff Jarrett for what he did in WWE as well as for taking a risk in starting your own company (been there it is so hard). I watch every week because I am a huge wrestling fan and enjoy the show. I am just seeing my journey to the end. Good or bad."
As reported earlier, World Wrestling Entertainment recently signed April Jeanette, a 22-year-old who worked Northeast independent wrestling shows as Miss April, to a developmental contract.
She was trained by TNA wrestler Black Machismo Jay Lethal at the ACE wrestling school and is believed to be his girlfriend as well. As of late, she had been working for the Women Superstars Uncensored promotion as part of a tag team called the AC Express.
Jeanette is originally from Union City, New Jersey and attended New York Universitys School of the Arts while working independent shows. She started training two years ago and had her first wrestling match six months later.
One person who has closely worked with Jeanette described her as looking like a Spanish/Asian mix, pretty, and a great worker considering shes had less than 20 matches in her career. While she stands out as a worker on the indy level, according to this person, she doesnt show much charisma or personality, not to mention that she seemed adverse to coaching when it came to promos.
Ring wise, she has been described as having the potential to be as good as Gail Kim, but also could become someone who just does fancy moves because she is athletic enough to perform them.
TNA Wrestling issued the following press release today:
TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION (TNA) WRESTLING HEADS TO COLORADO, FOR SURE!
DEJECTED WWE FANS CAUGHT IN THE DENVER DEBACLE GET A $10 DISCOUNT FOR TNA TICKETS WITH THEIR UNUSED WWE TICKETS FROM COLORADO SHOWS.
Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling is bringing a slam-dunk show to Colorado and unlike its competition, the superstars of TNA will not skip town.
The TNA Live! Tour invades the Pueblo (Colo.) Convention Center on Friday night, May 29, and then moves to Cheyenne, Wyo., on Saturday night, May 30 at the Taco Johns Event Center. Both shows start at 7:30 p.m., and anyone bringing an unused WWE ticket from its recently-cancelled Colorado shows to the box office in Pueblo or Cheyenne will receive a $10 discount for tickets either TNA show.
Some of the biggest pro wrestling fans in the nation are in Colorado, said TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter. It was sad to see the WWE pull out of all their scheduled shows in Colorado recently because of the scheduling conflict with the NBA playoffs. I want everyone in Colorado to know that TNA Wrestling is coming and we hope to see you at our first shows ever in your state. For WWE fans that paid for any of these cancelled events, we are offering you $10 off the purchase of tickets to come see us and enjoy the best fan experience in pro wrestling.
Carter also confirmed that TNA is formally inviting all Nugget players, coaches, broadcasters and front-office staff to the Pueblo show.
Appearing live will be The King of the Mountain Jeff Jarrett, The War Machine Rhino, The Monster Abyss, The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky), Cute Kip, the Motor City Machine Guns, The Blueprint Matt Morgan, TNA X Division Champion Suicide, Lethal Consequences, Taylor Wilde, Showtime Eric Young, Brutus Magnus, Kiyoshi, and more.
As reported earlier, last week's episode of Raw drew a 3.29 cable rating. The segment-by-segment breakdown is as follows: The long opening segment building the show's opening match was for naught as Batista vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase lost 156,000 viewers. The women's tag match pitting Mickie James and Kelly Kelly against Maryse and Jillian gained 242,000 viewers. Carlito vs. The Brian Kendrick lost 128,000 viewers. Segments involving The Miz calling out Cena again, Santina Marella, Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes, Chavo Guerrero and Vickie Guerrero gained 498,000 viewers for a 3.55 quarter hour, drawing the peak number for the show. However, the Santina Marella vs. Beth Phoenix match was a huge ratings loser as 369,000 viewers tuned out during the bout and largely never came back. MVP's VIP lounge segment followed by a Kofi Kingston and MVP vs. William Regal and Matt Hardy tag match lost an additional 185,000 viewers. The show's main event pitting Randy Orton against Batista only gained 14,000 viewers, drawing a lackluster 3.17 quarter hour.
-- The final number for Friday Night Smackdown on May 8th was a 1.89 rating and 2.97 million viewers. While the rating isn't that much lower than usual, the number of total viewers was really bad as fewer viewers per household than usual were watching.

TNA founder Jeff Jarrett came out to the ring to address Mick Foley's video from last week. He also took the opportunity to add himself to the final spot in the main event at Sacrifice. Enter Mick Foley.
Foley asked Jarrett what he would be sacrificing at the pay per view? He suggested that JJ give up his managerial voting rights. Jarrett agreed and walked away. Then he rips into the British Invasion, which brings them out. The two teams begin to brawl and Invasion was about to put 3D through a table, but Beer Money ran in and made the save.
Lauren is in the back with Jeff Jarrett and Eric Young . Young complains that his match tonight isn't fair. Jarrett quickly puts him in his place. Young says that as a friend JJ will regret that, but Jarrett just tells him to get out.
Kurt Angle finally finds Sting and tells him that he cannot do this again. Angle claims that Sting stopped returning his calls once he got a title shot. Sting asks Angle if he's been watching the shows and he has. He asks if Angle watched Lockdown, which he did. They come to conclusion that they were screwed by Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley. Sting says it's about bringing the title back to the Main Event Mafia. Angle agrees and says they'll work together to make it happen.
Sting def. Eric Young with the Scorpion Death Lock.
Borash in the back with Mick Foley and asks him who his opponent will be. The two then go into an Abbott and Costello routine without ever revealing anything.

Footage from earlier in the week is shown of Lauren yelling at Abyss over what Dr. Stevie has done. She says that Taylor is her friend and like a sister. Dr. Stevie, meanwhile, is out on business until Monday.
After a video package highlighting Kurt Angle, Lauren is once again in the back. She's with A.J. Styles and asks him about his I Quit Match against Booker T. Styles says the match is about more than the title... it's about pride. He says the word "quit" is not in his vocabulary. He acknowledges that it's not in Booker's either, but somebody has to say it on Sunday. Styles adds that there's no beef between him and Samoa Joe.
Lauren is busy tonight... She's in the back with Matt Morgan. Morgan says when you are a big time athlete in a big time sport, you need to make a big time business decision. And that is why he wants to join The Main Even Mafia. He adds that he hopes Angle doesn't take his loss personally.
Kurt Angle def. Matt Morgan after countering a Hellevator attempt into an Inside Cradle. The two shake hands after the match.
Lauren... again. She's with Jeff Jarrett who says his hamstring will heal. He's not going to let this defeat him or make him quit. It's about a battle with Mick Foley on Sunday and that somebody other than the former WWE Hardcore Champion will win Sunday, which will turn business around.
Jeff Jarrett def. Samoa Joe via disqualification after Joe threw the ref into the guard rail. AJ Styles came out to try to talk some sense into Joe who was relentless in his attack on Jarrett's injured hamstring. Talking didn't work and the two began to brawl.
Mick Foley is in the ring and builds up his former World Champion oponent who turns out to be a cardboard cutout of Rocky Balboa, which was brought to the ring by two handlers and a "Mick" lookalike.
Mick Foley def. Rocky Balboa in a non-title match in a match that, believe or not, saw the cardboard cutout of Rocky get some offense in. But in the end, a Pile Driver and Elbow Drop were too much for the boxing legend.
After the match, Foley starts doing a Rocky impression, substituting his wife's name, Collette, for Adrian.
Jeff Jarrett comes out and says he can't take it anymore. He and Foley begin to brawl. Kurt Angle joins in and attacks Foley. Sting comes out, tries to make peace, but gets hit with a chair by Foley instead. Jarrett then lays out Angle, but is then taken out with another chair shot from Foley to end the show.
ECW Champion Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer (No Contest) Kofi Kingston def. William Regal CM Punk def. Chris Jericho
Just four days after the gavel dropped for many Superstars at Judgment Day, six men faced off in three, separate grueling bouts - including an ECW Title Match - during WWE Superstars Thursday night on WGN America.

ECW Champion Christian and Tommy Dreamer fight to a No Contest (WATCH | PHOTOS) After challenging Tommy Dreamer to face him for his ECW Title, Christian and the ECW Original fought to a No Contest after Jack Swagger interjected himself into the fray. On Sunday, Captain Charisma outsmarted The All-American American, and ended up walking out of Judgment Day as champion. This did not please Swagger, who had lost his championship rematch just days prior. And, to add fuel to the two-time All-Americans fire, Christian challenged Dreamer to a title match Thursday night. As would be expected from the two ring warriors, Christian and Dreamer both fought valiantly against one another with the much coveted ECW Title on the line - that is - until Swagger made himself an unwanted addition. Despite the former champions interference resulting in a quick exit courtesy of the ECW Champion and his challenger, Swagger was the one smiling as he walked to the locker room. What was The All-American American smiling about? Does Swagger have something planned for this Tuesday night following his disruption on WWE Superstars? And, will Tommy Dreamer get another opportunity to go for the Extreme gold before his contract expires next month?
Kofi Kingston def. William Regal (WATCH | PHOTOS) Last week on Raw, Kofi Kingston was on the winning side of tag team action against William Regal & Matt Hardy. This week on WWE Superstars, The Jamaican Superstar continued his winning ways as he outshined the Englishman in one-on-one action. Although both have clashing mat styles, Kingston & Regal proved to be fierce competitors as they took each other to their limits. As it appeared that William Regal was closing in on the former Intercontinental Champion, looking to deliver a vicious knee with his exposed knee brace, all he got was a little Trouble in Paradise courtesy of the high-flying Superstar. Even though Regal is an in-ring veteran and a master of his craft, Kingstons winning streak continued, and the Englishman was sent to the locker room trying to get his head back on straight.
CM Punk def. Chris Jericho (WATCH | PHOTOS) Both Jericho and The Straightedge Superstar were looking to avenge their respective losses from Judgment Day as they met on WWE Superstars. Ultimately, it was Mr. Money in the Bank, CM Punk, who proved victorious, but Jericho had the last laugh. This wasnt the first time these two have done battle, and much like their past encounters, could be considered a tutorial on the intestinal fortitude it takes to become a top WWE Superstar. All the way to the finish, the two ring titans were evenly matched, with Jericho reversing the Go To Sleep into the Walls of Jericho. But Punk fought back, countering the nefarious Superstars lethal submission maneuver into a roll-up for the win. It was no surprise that the first-ever Undisputed Champion was not pleased with the end-result, and he aired his frustrations by nailing a Codebreaker on the celebrating Mr. Money in the Bank, leaving Punk writhing in pain as WWE Superstars went off the air.
The TNA Mobile service sent out a text message last night saying Shane Sewell has been released from his contract with TNA Wrestling. As previously noted, his profile was recently removed the roster section on the company website. Although, they have yet to remove his name from the TNA referees list.
