Today 10 bikers showed up for our weekly KBC MTB outing. Pretty soon it became obvious that we had to split the group up into a fast and a faster group. That way each could enjoy his own pace without being a nuisance to the other group. I joined the faster group and we had a good ride, accelerating on some of the climbs. I didn't press too hard though because I will be in Houffalize from tomorrow on, planning 2 rides if the weather permits. Still we managed a good average, taking into consideration that we had a fair amount of heightmeters, and some steep technical hills as well. The weather forecast for the next few days isn't brilliant but I hope to manage to ride out at least once, if possible on friday evening and during saturday. Whether I will go on- or offroad will depend on the state of the trails. At least sunday looks to be dry and a bit warmer, which is just as well since I plan to follow the Womens Worldcup race in the AM and the Mens in the PM. And a little sun always brightens up the pictures.
Ride Stats : 40K and 390 heightmeters in 2h02mins
