Podhoretz  a été décoré  en mai 2007 Guardian of Zion Award par l’Université sioniste religieuse Bar-Ilan.

Conseiller en politique étrangère de Rudy Giuliani dans sa campagne présidentielle en 2008. Le fauteur de guerre sioniste Norman Podhoretz appelle publiquement et constamment à l’attaque impérialiste américaine contre la République Islamique d’Iran. Nevertheless, there is a good response to them, and it is the one given by John McCain. The only thing worse than bombing Iran, McCain has declared, is allowing Iran to get the bomb.
