The CMMI standard was HP0-765 developed by a coalition of industry, government agencies and the Software Engineering Institute to objectively assess the full range of an organizations software and systems engineering, program management as well as organizational management capabilities. There are five levels of CMMI maturity, with five being the highest.

Dr. Tim Gibson will serve as director of Cybersecurity Capability Development. Gibson was formerly program manager for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, where he focused on improving network performance and security, multilevel security solutions for coalition operations and efficiently delivering content to deployed units.
Al Kinney, U.S. Navy Commander (Ret.), will serve as director of Defense Cybersecurity Capabilities. Prior to joining HP, Kinney helped grow a line of cyberwarfare business for the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and managed relationships between the National Security Agency and Navy commands.
