Pictures of Gibbs yesterday in the left over snow!!
While waiting for the results of ultrasound in a couple of weeks, some pictures of Gibbs taken yesterday with left over snow!!! Finally we could have a normal walk/training after the massive snow we have had!
Whispering Oaks Golden Paws "Gibbs" x Vassruggens Vade Brand "Odin" Pedigrees on www.K9data.com. Gibbs was bred today to Odin, so fingers crossed. I will know more the middle of February and will keep the blog updated. Some pictures of Odin & Gibbs and Odin with his Ch. tittles and Gibbs as a puppy!!
As of today Ms. Gibbs is in season,so after some blood tests next week we will have a breeding and keep our fingers crossed until an ultrasound later on!!!! Of course I will keep you updated here on the blog and with questions you can email me
Well, I believe Gibbs has decided that 2013 is a better year for puppies, so she is just waiting for that !! Also that is the year of the M names, so decided by the Belgium Kennel Club, so we will go along with that and just wait. So people, all be patient, enjoy the holidays have a safe end of the year and to be continued next year and if time , start thinking of names starting with an M, minimum 3 letters, maximum 10 letters ,one word!!!! So Whispering Oaks M.......... Good luck!!!!
Well a little good news. Eli, Gibbs mother went into season today, so maybe Gibbs will follow soon !!!! Meanwhile 2 pictures I took of Gibbs at rest last night!!
I am adding some pictures of the Eli/Odin pups of May this year!! Eli is Gibbs mother and then I am using the same male, Odin, so just some pictures of what I expect the puppies to look like. They will be active working goldens, who are bred to work, be it as a hunting partner, agility, flyball or search & rescue and not the type to have as a pet. Hopefully it won't be too long anymore for Gibbs to go into season!! Will keep you all updated!!
Still waiting for Gibbs to go into season for her breeding to Odin, but then it is only a few days over the expected date. She is probably waiting for her mother Eli to start and then she will follow. Their behaviour still indicates soon!!! Patience everyone, I will update as soon as I have news!!
GIBBS 5 Years old today!!!! & a picture of Gibbs & Odin
Gibbs is 5 years old today, but still thinks she is a puppy!!! If I analize her behavior, it should not be long anymore before she goes into season, BUT then nature can surprise us!!! Also a picture of Gibbs & Odin.
Welcome to the info blog about the planned litter with Whispering Oaks Golden Paws "Gibbs" x Vassruggens Vade Brand "Odin". Their pedigrees are on www.K9data.com under their name. The breeding is planned for the end of November and then birth expected first week of February and then they go to their homes 7 weeks later, so the end of March , beginning of April. Now ofcourse this can change a little depending on when Gibbs goes into season! I will add a few pictures of Odin, who is a Search & Rescue Ch. in Sweden and also a competitive Workingtest and dummy trial dog and practical hunter and is invited this year to be on the Swedish team at the CLA game in England. Gibbs is an active working dog, who did a few WT's with good results but then because of my health problems I had to stop competing, but we do practise almost daily with her mother, aunt and grandmother. Please mail me for more info about this litter!
