Yesterday we all went to the vet and pups DNA was taken, a must right now in Belgium, they were chipped, pasport given and got their 6 week vaccination and they were all checked and declared healthy. The males have their 2 mini balls!! They got the run of the Dr's office, so lots of fun!! In the morning they already had the run of the house ,which is always so much fun to see them explore. Discovering a different, higher water bowl and finding ELi's sleep place with lots of different scents.
Since all three puppies have to travel a distance, two by plane and one by car, I put a kennel in today and they seem to like it, no problem there. Of course they ride in the car in a kennel, but a wire one, so a little different!! Today we drove around and went out on a field and then spend the afternoon outdoor with 20 + temperatures, tomorrow again after the vet visit and then cold again. Enjoy the pictures!!
Pet buddies have arrived and they loved them. First outside with them and then later indoors and now they are sealed in plastic with all the nest smells to take home!!
Just something I realized last saturday when I had the company of Herman, Helma & Annemarie, who own 3 "Whispering Oaks" dogs and came to cuddle the new puppies, that this litter and the last male specific, is the 50th"Whispering Oaks" puppy that is born!!! All but one are still alive and doing great!!! They live all over the world, from Alaska, Atlanta, Bernville, USA, Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, England, Sweden, The Netherlands,Belgium and Slovenia, so an international bunch!!
I would like to thank all the owners for taking great care of them and keeping up to date and sending pictures, results or just stories about their dog!! Please keep it up , I so enjoy hearing about all of them!!!
This morning the temperature was nice ,so I loaded the puppies up in the car and took them along for a car ride to the training fields!! They could not get out yet as the grass was still wet and did not want to take any changes!! It was al about the car ride and they did fine!!
Friends from Holland who own 3 WO goldens came to visit with 2 children,so great for the pups and they were all over and played with and held and they were great, both kids and pups and the dogs all enjoyed the visit. And the 4 week old portraits!!
Pups were also dewormed today and weight and are doing great!!
Let the pups wander out of the whelping box this morning to explore a little. At first they were very sceptical, but that only took a few minutes and off they went. Hopefully this weekend the weather is nice and we can do a little outside exploring!! A picture of pink girl sound asleep, the way her great grandmother & mother sleep a lot!!
So first we tried water and then we tried some real food and then the girl pooped on the box, so a good weekend!!! Mr. red very relaxed and ms. pink laying on my lap sound asleep!! They all weigh more then 2200 + grams, so they are good eaters. Teeth are coming in and they are starting to walk faster instead of the slow motion movement at first.
Pups are moved into the livingroom and seemed have to have adapted right away to their new surroundings and noises!! They see the other dogs pass by them and even attempt to go into the pee box and have managed already to be there on time a few times. Soon the kibbles will start, a littel at a time and see how they will experience that!! Supposedly the warmer weather is coming, so that is good, but no sun yet, so no outdoor experiences yet till maybe next weekend! Enjoy!
I tried to make head shots of the 2 week old puppies. Results below, red male x 2, pink female x 2, green male times 2.( The green male wanted to spread his wings ) Their stimulation program ended today and now the sight and sounds come with them going into the living room tomorrow. Now the see and hear and een if they wake up and put them on a newspaper they pee on it, so will get the woodchips out this weekend and then it all goes very fast!!
Easter Pictures, eyes are open, dewormed, and 2 weeks old!! Now hoping fore some warmer weather so they can all go in the living room at the end of the week and start with some regular puppy food!! Mr green is now mr. Blue plaid with a greenribbon tied to it as he outgrew his puppy collar!!
