Hospital for him and hospital for me
So a little short update: We had to stop Boomers treatment this morning when the fluids started getting into the leg instead of the vein... Finding a new good vein is getting difficult now. While trying and holding Boomer straight I hurt my back even more and could not sit or stand or...whatever without getting terrible pains in the back. The medication I got yesterday did not fix any of it. Got injections now in the clinic and have to take rest... answer is simple... yes you guessed it wink emoticon My vet wants to come home at 5 to put new catheder in and let Boomer have his IV's at home as long as I can do it 4 hours in a row, relaxed, no moving... but the dogs and especially Mausie won't let us: put them outside is no option because the neighbour has visitors so dogs will bark when outside and upset Boomer. And inside with us she won't leave her friend Boomie 4 hours alone. This last week I have learned a lot and who is a friend... I thank them all and say goodbye to the others. One thing is for sure... ow Shhhht Eva shut up don't say it !!! Main thing is Boomer... all results coming in are GOOD !!! but we haven't won the battle yet ! We need to continue the IV fluids for another week PS Thanks Vetjg.com 4 all that you do !!!
