During breakfast our host told us about Omega Park, the place to go to see Canadian wildlife. At first we hesitated, but then we flipped a coin, heads was don't and moose was go... It was the moose... So we went. It's a drive trough park, so we sat in the car and drove among the animals. This way we saw a moose today, but we still hope to spot one during our hikes... It kind of feels like cheating.
Woohoo we spotted some deers today during a beautiful walk in 'Parc National du Mont-Tremblant' 🦌
Some peoples were curious about the food here, so we made a picture of every meal today 😋 The breakfast is always included in our accomodations and so far it was really good! The local specialities we haven't tried yet, because we take a picknick with us every time. One of those specialities of Quebec is 'poutines'... It doesn't look really teasty (you should Google it) 😉 but maybe we will try it.
Millions of trees in the world are accidentally planted by squirrels, who burry nuts, then forget where they hid them... We can see proof of that here! 🐿️
Today we had a long drive, direction Saguenay. We made some stops along the way with beautiful views.
In Val-Jalbert we visites the old village from 1920's.
For those who wonder why we post our messages in English, see the picture with the small bottle, we leave those in some places for strangers to find them. There is a little message and link to our blog inside.
When life throws you a rainy day, play in the puddles 😉
Rain is just confetti from the sky 🎉
Today we woke up and the sky was totally grey, it was even a little cold outside, so we put on our K-way and our walking shoes and hid the city of Quebec 🌧️🌧️🌧️
It was a nice walk through a historic city, with a touch of art.
We had a nice warm up with a hot chocolate from Starbucks ☕
Now it's time to rest and prepare the next few days of adventure in the national parcs, whoop whoop 🦌🦊🐿️🐻🦅🦉
It was a small step for Armstrong to put foot on the moon, it was 23776 steps for us to explore Montréal, a city full of nice monuments, a big variety of cafés and restaurants, beautiful views...
We will stay one more night at our cosy B&B and then we're off to Quebec.
